This is seriously a bad look! Very mother-of-the-bride does the dress-over-pants-thing.
The reverse peter pan collar (or is that just a mandarin collar? I don’t really know my collars!) is awful. The top of the dress looks too tight-fitting, and the bottom half makes her hips look boxy. And the pants are a terrible length. Either they should be longer and/or flowier, or she should be wearing flats.

The only person to successfully pull off the dress/skirt over the pants outfit was Lana Turner in Imitation of Life.
They really should of ended it there. No one else can carry it off like she could!

I HATE the dress over pants thing. I can’t imagine anyone actually trying to pull it off in real every day life. And doesn’t a dress with pants underneath defeat the purpose of wearing a dress?! I love fashion, but I hope this “trend” never becomes a trend.

Reminds me of being in 3rd grade in the 1960′s and we couldn’t wear pants to school at all (yes, yes, THE OLDEN DAYS!) and if it snowed, we had to put pants on under our dresses. Always felt so wrong to me.

Normally I love this girl and she’s so cute that it doesn’t matter what she wears. But this is pretty bad all over: too much make-up, unflattering outfit and hair at an awkward growing out stage. I guess it happens to all of us.
