She ‘does’ look like white trash. In fact, she seems to go out of her way to remind people ‘I’m really just trailer park white trash, so why are y’all throwing money at me?’
The woman is another ‘performance’ artist–not a true singer at all–heralded in by ‘Madonna,’ with a limited one-note vocal range.
I can’t decide if women just feel sorry for her or if it’s another one of those blind-leap ‘she seems normal like me so I see nothing wrong with her’ things, like with Jennifer Aniston.

@Emma…- I like her music. Her voice may be “one note” to you but it meshes perfectly with the music she makes. It doesn’t hurt that she seems like a genuinely nice person either but that’s just a bonus for me.

I appreciate a good, mindless pop song with sick beats and a catchy hook. I can’t listen to indy music or even sleepy, sappy Adele all the time. Britney provides this escape for me.

That’s very harsh. She had or still has a mental condition. Do you think majorly depressed people care about what they’ll wear or how they’ll comb their hair? In most cases, they don’t give a f about anything.
I think she is getting better. This is the best I’ve seen her look in years. Her hair and skin look nice, her legs are amazing and she seems relaxed. Good for her!
I just hope she doesn’t see the comment section of blogs like this and reads such discouraging comments…

It may be harsh, but it’s true. I don’t hate her, I just think she’s highly overrated. But I’m not completely heartless you know. I haven’t said a thing about her lip syncing or studio enhanced voice on her CD’s.
And Britney will never get better because she’s bipolar. This is how she will be for the rest of her life. The best thing they can do for her is move her back to Louisiana and let her life her life outside of the pressure dome. I can’t believe that the first thing they did once she got back on her meds was to make her do a world tour. Unbelievable. But what’s even ‘more’ unbelievable is that people actually paid to watch her sleepwalk her way through dance numbers and songs.
Britney didn’t have a break down, she stopped taking her medication when she got pregnant with her first son, then got pregnant right away with her second son. Once she stopped taking the medication she didn’t want to take it anymore. That’s why one of her father’s duties as her Conservator was to make sure she took her medication every day.

Wow, too much hate on Britney up top there. I am not a fan of her music, her voice annoys me but I don’t get to pick everybody’s music and, thank God, everybody doesn’t get to pick mine. She sold sex fantasy to some dudes and had others dancing back in the day. She was fodder for every tabloid & every move good, bad or indifferent was splashed for all to see. She became the biggest thing in pop. She got in with a bad crowd who took advantage of a naive person (cough Paris Hilton cough) and we watched her soul die. The machine broke the poor woman….remember that night when the ambulance took her away & we all thought she had lost her sanity forever? Well, having cared for someone with a menal illness, watching her struggle hurt my heart. So seeing her smile and enjoy her kids now makes me smile. And I imagine southern girls like their cutoff jean shorts for the same reason midwestern girls do. And if you don’t know the reason, I can’t tell you cuz y’all wouldn’t understand. Putting on that bra and taking care of her personal hygiene is a major step and I, for one, am proud of her. Nah, I’m not a fan but I root for her and for all mamas out there who are fighting personal demons….real and imagined. Our Britney is doing all right, I think! Keep up the good work, girl!
