Britney Spears’ 31 year-old brother, Bryan Spears, is getting married soon – to Jamie Lynn’s manager. The two plan to tie the knot sometime this holiday:

Britney Spears’s big brother, Bryan Spears, 31, is newly engaged to Graciella Sanchez, 36, and the pair plan to wed soon – possibly over the New Year’s holiday, sources tell People.

The couple have been acquaintances for years, but only recently started dating seriously. Sanchez is the manager for Bryan’s little sister Jamie Lynn.

A Yale graduate, Sanchez helped found One Talent Management, where she still works. Bryan Spears is a producer with credits including Jamie Lynn’s star-making vehicle Zoey 101.

Britney, 27, who flew to Louisiana on Sunday with her two sons Jayden James, 3, and Preston, 2, is expected to attend the nuptials.

People

There are some warning bells here. The couple is ‘newly engaged’ and haven’t been dating for long, despite a long time ‘acquaintance’. Are they headed for another Hollywood divorce? Also, Jamie Lynn’s career is sort of on hiatus at the moment due to motherhood. Is there going to be some sort of fallout with her manager/sister-in-law if she stages a comeback and isn’t as successful as her older sister Britney?

Bryan has been working with Jamie Spears to help with Britney’s rehabilitation, and was recently awarded $200,000 for services. He was also a producer on Jamie Lynn’s Zoey 101 show.

Congratulations to Bryan and Graciella – maybe the reason for the quickie wedding is to keep the media away, or maybe they’re expecting.

i don’t understand why her fsmsily is paid anything at all for helping – that’s what family is supposed to do. There are thousands of families doing the same thing with their drug addict kids and drinkers, who don’t ask for a thing.

they are getting paid because looking after those two is a FULL TIME JOB! Her dad had to QUIT his REAL job to babysit his adult daughter. He is a grown man with expenses of his own, life is not free.

Let’s keep incest in the family, eh?

So weird… but if they’re in love, whatever.

It’s probably a bit mean but Britney certainly got the looks in that family. Well, now that she’s looking a bit put together, that is, and in her past incarnation. But her eyes are still empty; that’s beyond sad. This woman is in no way ready to be out there performing. We’ll probably see another breakdown, which would be a shame, after all the work. Better they let her recover than perform, but that’s not gonna happen when there’s money to be made. Sad.

jay: i absolutely agree that britney should take more time to work on herself before going out on tour, but…

I’m so tired of people critizing this family! Brittney obviously has post partum depression and I’m not sure what her Mom’s problem. This is a disfunctional family that needs all the prayers they can get. Brittney is beautiful and is obviously very talented or people wouldn’t be talking about her all the time. I wish her family the best of luck and please disregard the close minded people of the world.

Um Anna, incest by definition is always kept in the family so that made absolutely no sense.

Lol Jay, I was thinking the same thing about Britney getting all the good looks in the family.

LondonParis, I was speaking of how Britney looks WITHOUT sunglasses, natch.:-) Not specifically the current photo. She’s not ready for this, imo. She, no doubt, feels comfort in “working” but in reality it’s a double edged sword…she wants to but she’s not really “in the moment”, not ready for the scrutiny. I feel for her, and her boys, but when there’s money to be made even the most supposedly loyal can be swayed. Beyond sad, that is.

Note the story on today’s site..the choreographers apparently feel the same way, if the NE is to be believed. I actually do believe it but not because of the NE, they’re definitely not my idea of a bastion of journalistic integrity. Heh.
