I don’t know much about Glee’s Heather Morris other than she looks a lot older than high-school-age (which she plays on Glee) and that she can dance really, really well. Heather is 26 years old (?) and Us Weekly is exclusively reporting that she’s pregnant! I was hoping for some kind of paternity scandal to dovetail nicely with Cory Monteith’s rehab announcement, but Us Weekly says the father is Heather’s longtime boyfriend:
Looks like Glee’s Heather Morris will have to sit out some musical numbers. The Beyonce backup dancer turned actress, 26, is pregnant with her first child, a source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. “She’s a little more than three months along and starting to show,” the source says of the Scottsdale, Arizona native. The dad-to-be is the star’s longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell, whom she met in high school.
“It was totally unexpected, but they are incredibly happy and excited,” the source tells Us.
Indeed, Morris, who plays ditzy cheerleader Brittany on the FOX smash, has long been vocal about her eagerness to start a family with Hubbell — even if it means quitting showbiz.
“I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him,” the star told Fitness in 2011. “I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won’t continue.”
Although a second pal says the pair have no plans to wed just yet, a march down the aisle might not be far off. Says the source: “I see it in their future.”
Has Glee already finished filming their 2012-13 season? When Cory announced his rehab stay, I read somewhere that his character was being written out of a few shows, so I don’t think they’re done with filming. My guess is that they’ll let Morris finish out the season and then they’ll have to make a decision about writing her pregnancy into the show or simply cutting her out of the show, right? Just goes to show you – it’s always a pain in the ass to have 20-something actors play perpetual high schoolers. Anyway, congrats to Heather and her boyfriend!

According to some posters on another board, there are 2-3 episodes left to film, hence the announcement of Cory’s rehab stint.

I didn’t know that she danced for Beyonce…she does look kinda familiar. Was she a backup dancer during ‘The Beyonce Experience’? Seh must be good either way because Mama B don’t play and only hires the best dancers.
I didn’t know that the cast of Glee are all approaching their 30’s. I thought they were all teens.
She was backup around 2008 Single Ladies. She performed with Bea and one other girl at the AMA awards. Its on youtube if your interested. The girl has talent.
I think she also danced with her on Good Morning America. I read about her because I was big Gleek when the show first started and Bey asked her to go on the Single Ladies world tour but she turned it down to do the show.
I looked it up, wow. She worked her ass off in that performance. She really is great. Performing with someone as high profile as Beyonce is a compliment to her skill level in & of itself.
Ha, i always ALWAYS love it when people get pregnant and it’s a ‘complete surprise’. If you’re having sex then there’s always a chance.

There’s always the possibility that she was on the pill but that the pill failed (which can happen). I think I would be pretty surprised if I was on the pill and became pregnant anyway even though know that it can happen.
Yup! That happened to me! I was on depo for almost 3 years and my doctor wanted me to switch to the pill (it’s recommended to only use depo for 2 years for future bone health) and I was on my 3rd week when I conceived. Prior to depo I’d used the pill with no problems pregnancy wise.
A pleasant surprise for my husband and I, but since we were going to try later this year anyways it was welcome.

Well congrats to them! See people Heather is what “talented” looks like. She can sing, dance and act. Unlike some people who are daily on this board who do nothing more than run one scam after another and can not sing, dance or act.

I liked Heather until I read a story here in LA that she parked her car on the sidewalk in front of her apartment quite often. The “star” couldn’t be bothered to park in an actual spot and she had no concern for people needing the sidewalk. Perhaps becoming a mother will change this type of self-centered behavior.
Will be interesting to see if/how they write this into the future episodes. I hope they keep Britney S. Pears around and write this in – would be hilarious with her character.
I think it’s stupid to say a pregnancy was unexpected. If you’re having sex you can get pregnant.
I’m not huge into Heather. I guess since her “leaked” nudes didn’t garner enough attention, she had to find another way to be talked about outside of Glee.
Good luck to her if it is genuine, though I have my doubts.
This must be Glee’s last season and she has no other jobs lined up. Add another “celebrity mommy” to your list, People magazine!

I only watched a season and a half of Glee, but she was by far the best thing on it. I admit I only tuned into the second season to hear her one-liners.
Oh, and pregnancy can definitely be unexpected even if you’re having sex. Ladies, try learning the word “expect” before you get all snarky. When you’re using two or more forms of birth control, you don’t EXPECT to fall pregnant because the chances of that are less than 1%. Acknowledging a small chance is not the same as expecting.
Why would you expect to get pregnant? That’s what the BC is for.
I’m kind of tired of people making the news just for being pregnant.
I think they will probably just write her out of the show, if it gets renewed. The timing is kind of convenient that way – Brittany is supposed to be graduating at the end of this season anyway, so my guess is the show just won’t follow her journey beyond high school.
Everyone that show does not look like there in high school. They all look like adults playing teenagers its rediculous really. That show is horrible im sure she can find something better now.
The show probably won’t be effected just because Heather is pregnant. She’s supposed to be graduating this season so she’s probably just going to be a reoccurring character if not completely written off. Finn, Rachel, Kirk, and recently Santana are the only old cast members who are regulars.
Well, I can see how it’d be a surprise, if she’s been taking precautions/birth control at the time. Unexpected/unintentional.

That baby is going to be the luckiest baby EVER to have Heather as a mom. Plus she/he will be amazely talented. They will be dancing before walking just like Heather . I hope we start getting lots of pictures and maybe even magazine spread once the baby gets here, Congratz again Heather and i hope you return to glee asap. I have to have brittany in my life still… –
