Here are some photos of Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson and baby Maxwell Drew out to lunch at King’s Fish House on Saturday in LA. I like how one thing has remained consistent for Jessica through two pregnancies: chica LOVES to eat out. Most of candid photos of Jessica these days are of her entering or leaving a restaurant. Just so. If a pregnant woman wants to have some fish, go ahead. Maxi is looking particularly adorable in these photos too – her hair is getting longer! And I love that Jess “styles” her daughter with little bows and stuff. So cute.
The only thing that bugs me is that mother and daughter are clashing animal prints. Maybe that’s the Southerner in me, but that’s a faux pas! A little animal print goes a long way! Also: Jessica is starting to look much bigger (but she’s still smaller than she was at this point in her first pregnancy). She’s due around the same time as Kim Kardashian, which means Jessica has probably just entered her third trimester.
As for Eric… do you think he’s going to knock her up again just a few months after she gives birth? Like, does he think that will ensure that she keeps him around, if she’s just constantly pregnant? Eric might be trying to lock this down legally, just so Jessica doesn’t have to go through her third pregnancy in three years. After canceling a previous wedding date because she became pregnant with her second child, Jessica Simpson has now picked ANOTHER wedding date, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively. Jessica and Eric Johnson have decided they will marry this year and penciled in the date. (Probably better to use pencil rather than pen in case you get pregnant AGAIN, Jessica!)
The happy couple will marry just one month after Jessica, 32, gives birth to her baby boy. The two want a summer wedding this year and have thought about a low-key ceremony in Hawaii, after scoping out venues during their Christmas vacation!
“Jessica and Eric are adamant they want to wed this year,” a source close to the Simpson family tells Radar. “Before they found out Jessica was expecting her second child, they’d already set the wheels in motion for a low-key ceremony. But then, they had to put their plans on ice when they discovered Jessica was pregnant. Plus, she wanted to avoid a clash with her best pal CaCee Cobb who had a wedding back in December.”
“So, Jessica and Eric have had to wait it out for the time being. When they were in Hawaii over the Christmas holidays, they checked out a couple of local spots where a small ceremony could be planned this summer. They’re not completely against exchanging their vows in Los Angeles either, but would prefer to do it anywhere else other than their own home,” the source reveals.
As I’ve said before, I kind of like that Jessica isn’t hellbent on making it official with Eric. I think it shows a shift in her priorities for the better – she’s happy with Eric, she keeps having babies, everything is going well, and that’s her priority, not making a beeline down the aisle. It says to me that she’s choosing substance over style, which is nice for her.

Well good for Jess. At least she has a plan and it’s not like she is still married to Nick but having another’s man child..not once but twice. And Eric is basically what he appears to be but when you have that much money you can pretty much buy whatever you want.
That little girl is so cute. And so what if her hubby doesn’t work? we wouldn’t be giving the woman a hard time if it was the mom who wanted to stay home. she’s got enough money that they can live off one paycheck. I work 50-55 hours a week, if I made enough, I’d love to have a house husband.
You actually believe that guy is staying home to be a house husband and take care of the kids. Seriously?!

I agree with you, I don’t know why everyone makes a big deal over Eric not working. If it was the other way around, nobody would say anything about the woman being unemployed. people seems so hellbent on making Eric out to be a douchebag when he really hasn’t ever done anything offensive or wrong.
It’s because he made a deliberate choice early on in their relationship to quit his own plans and hitch his wagon to her. Remember that he was supposed to go to Wharton? And by all appearances he’s stopped even attempting to work since they’ve been together. It’s a little less weird now that they have kids, but could you imagine living off of your significant other of just a few months? And the fact that he dumped his then current significant other to date Jessica all added up to this guy looking like an opportunist.
I agree Joanna, I never understood why Eric gets so much crap for being a goldigger and whatnot, when other actors who married non celebrity women are left alone. I never heard anyone saying Matt Damons wife is a goldigger..same story different gender.

Because he saw a rich, famous woman who’s not too bright and decided to take advantage of her.
He saw someone desperate (Jessica) to get married and have kids with.
he’s never done anything to show that he doesn’t love her. yeah, money is probably a factor but he wouldn’t stay with her if he was miserable.

Given the history of marriages these days & in Hollywood especially it’s far cheaper to go this route.. Halle Berry did it & pays far less to Aubrey after the split then had she married him.. Wonder when Halle will marry.. lol She won’t.. Think about it..
Halle would not have owed much more money to Gabriel Aubry. First, in a prenup he could have gotten nothing or very little. (BTW–you can’t put child support in a prenup in Cali)Assuming no prenup she would only owe support for up to 1/2 the length of the marriage and GA’s income would be factored in. IIRC, they were only together for a few years.
well I am not sure all of that is correct either. There far better off to start if they marry from this new house on. What she owns & money she has now is hers. Marriage only & entitlements come into play after marriage. Before that he can have a portion but is not entitled to 50% by California law. She would pay ERIC a lifestyle he is enititled to or gotten used to after being with Jessica but not entitled to what she owns or has before that. Same applies for Children when he has them. Federline really in all honesty didnt’ do that well either.
I wonder why do we not question Jessica ALBA & her hubby.. he has a title producer but what work has he had in years. How about Drew Barrymore Art collector have you seen any or who he works with. He has family history but not much out there. What about Dean Mc Dermott? These all seem to be fabulous fathers. IM not sure why we target ERIC so much. Probably because it is assumed he does nothing because very little is known about him & he speaks to no media.
