I adore Mindy Kaling and watch her show regularly, but she cannot dress herself to save her life. She insists on wearing these designer clothes that were clearly intended for someone with a very different body type than hers. I am not saying she is fat at all — she is totally normal — but practically every dress she wears makes her look chubbier than she actually is. It’s really frustrating because she’s actually very cute.
This is a nice dress, though (although again, I don’t think it does much for her). And I’m really excited that The Mindy Show was renewed!
I think she’s a breath of fresh air. I just love a girl who wears whatever she wants. Everyone in Hollywood is so concerned with looking perfect and wearing “flattering” clothes, it’s BORING.
Mindy obviously loves clothes and fashion and I think it’s so refreshing to see somebody not care about their size or care about what uptight, boring fashion police types think “bigger girls” should wear. Not everyone has to try and appear smaller with their clothing choices.
Mindy clearly has an ability to not take herself or life too seriously, unlike people who find chubby girls in designer clothes offensive. Go Mindy!!!
Nothing wrong with looking chubby – I think it’s hot! Thin is so everywhere… it’s a breath of fresh air to see someone with bigger thighs and a tummy rock these fitted dresses. Go Mindy!

I’ve never seen The Mindy Show, but I’m going to start tuning in.
I just signed the petition on the “Brave” thing. They turned Merida into a Bratz doll, and I’m pissed. She was a cute and awesome character, and they made her kind of a bimbo.
I love her show. I’m terrified the networks will cancel it. It’s a great ensemble of comedic actors, it’s silly and irreverent. It took a few episodes to work out the rhythm but now it’s got the right beat.
