I hope that the lady who got smashed backwards into the stage went to the hospital because she might have a concussion or neck injury! I couldn’t believe that he didn’t stop “singing” to see if she were okay. I know the track would’ve kept going, but at least he would’ve shown some humanity.

Edited to add that I didn’t listen to the clip – just watched it – so my assumption was that he was singing to a track or lip syncing. Thanks for correcting me. 🙂

ITA after going to doctor I hopes she sees an attorney he could have critically injured her. What an idiot .Did you see the boots he was wearing?

    • Maddie says:

Sorry but that was no track, because if it was he should be suing someone.

I remember back in the day when music stars could sing live and sound phenomenal now a days they sound like your average shower singer.

As for that poor woman I hope he steps up and pay her medical bills and just bringing her back stage (he did do that)

      • gg says:

Most of them were lipsynching before now. We just didn’t talk about it as much.

I can’t believe he jumped feet-down into the audience. He should practice his actual dive (head first) before he involves unsuspecting crowds).

      • Erinn says:

I saw Rise Against, and Billy Talent – Rise Against last summer, and Billy Talent about a month ago. They were AMAZING live.

    • Itsa Reallyme says:

I agree that I was shocked he didn’t react to hurting her, in any way. I don’t know who he is and now I don’t really like him. If he felt the need to keep singing, he could have at least looked at her or touched her in a compassionate way—or motioned for someone to get her some help. smh

      • Naye in VA says:

If you watch, he turns towards her with an “ahhh dammnnn” face (dont watch this clip, watch the one on DListed), but then her friends help her away and he continues with the show. Im sure, had she not gotten up he would have stopped the show. Being that it was live TV he did what he was supposed to do.

And afterwards he met up with the girl so…nothing but props to him

      • Kim1 says:

Naye the other girl on the right was injured He spoked to the girl that was hit by his groin. Two different girls

  2. Jayna says:

I think he is one of the few singing live there. I agree, he shoukd have shown concern.

  3. Angelven says:

Ian Somerhalder is actually super nice. He travels around in his off time doing fundraisers “Strutt your Mutt” which helps raise fund for the local no kill animal shelters. I believe it is his charity? Anyway he came to my small town in South Louisiana and was unbelievably nice and down to earth.

    • Stace says:

I agree. Ian Somerhalder is a complete sweetheart.

    • lylaooo says:

ohh i wish the first thing i see in the morning are those eyes…he is not creepy at all..and yes he is super nice…

i think he just looks tired.

  4. Shannon says:

What was he even doing? What a fool!!! I love Miguel but what a damn idiot. Hope he’s ready to shell out some cash when he gets sued.

    • Jaye says:

Yeah…that jump was something that he shouldn’t have even CONSIDERED doing. People on D-Listed are acting like he did it on purpose. It was an accident. Yes he will probably get sued (I wouldn’t blame the girl at all)and I hope he does right by her, but he didn’t wake up in the morning thinking “you know what, I think I want to jump on someones head and damn near break their neck today”.

    • Nikki my opinion says:

+1 I agree, I’m a fan also. But Miguel should have used common sense you don’t jump over ppl. I notice there was some stairs, why didn’t he just use them to get across to the next stage?? He needs to be taught a lesson, he could have broke the ladie’s neck etc. Miguel needs to be sued or else he will continue to do this when he performs.

  5. ds says:

Cotillard and Canet are such a beautiful couple; just perfect together.

  6. claire says:

Her poor neck! yikes! Looks like he also kicked another woman in the side of the face.

  7. Rikki says:

That looked painful. He just kept on singing like nothing happened.

    • V4Real says:

What happen to the 4 second delay that has been put in place thanks to the Janet Jackson nipple slip at the Superbowl?

    • Jaye says:

That’s what people in the entertainment industry are expected to do. “The show must go on” as it were. I do hope that he checked on both girls afterwards. If he didn’t THAT would make him a jerk.

  8. teehee says:

Sounds like some american idol singer? Am I the only one seeing a lot of plain effort/no special passion…. not like, in comparison to say Smashing Pumpkins or Eddive Vedder when they perform— performers today seem so….. superficial? Scripted? Prepackaged? Yes I’m old.

    • V4Real says:

Miguel can actually sing; you should have heard him singing A capella at this year’s Grammy.

I think Miguel showed concern but they have been trained to continue on with the performance even when incidents like this occur. A few weeks ago Bieber was accosted by a fan on stage and he just kept right on going as security escorted the fan away.

During a Destiny Chid’s performance Michelle Heel broke and she went down, Bey and Kelly glanced over but didn’t miss a beat.

Beyonce fell down the stairs while performing at one of her concerts and the girl got right up bleeding knee and all and kept going.

Believe me, what you are saying about singers like Eddie Vedder; people older than you where saying about people like The Who and The Stones. They grew up on The Beatles and probably said Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins were garbage and that The Stones and Beatles were real music. This cycle is just going to continue as music as well as people change.

BTW PJ was one of my all time favorites with Ten being one of my all time Favorite CD’s.

I can’t even begin to talk about how awful Madmen was last night. It is getting harder and harder for me to defend this show.

  10. yolo112 says:

..uuughhh.. Eva Longoria… she needs to go away for a while. I never liked her but dislike her even more after watching her dance with cat food and shove chips down her face. Does her face looks really bad in those pics or is it just me??

  11. InVain says:

Mad Men was so bad last night…what a bunch of crap. This season has been a HUGE disappointment.

  12. Barbara says:

I was expecting something about Christina Aguilera’s appearance yesterday…

  13. jensational says:

I have yet to see anyone mention this but did you notice that NO ONE bothered to see if either girl were ok? They all just moved them out of the way and hammed it up for the cameras. Fuckers!

  14. I'm Want To Live IN New York says:

Am I right – there is no Kimmy post?

    • yolo112 says:

ahhahahahaa… I know right!? It’s really weird to not see anything about her! I’m pretty sure this is the first day this year that there hasn’t been a story about her. It’s like Christmas and birthday time wrapped up together with one huge bow!!

      • Kayla says:

That just means that for the first weekend since she got pregnant she kept her annoying useless big ass in the house.Good.

    • Palermo says:

      Hallelujah!

  15. Denise says:

Jesse Eisenberg was acting like a jerk, but it was totally warranted. She had the leg out and was trying to be cute but had nothing to back it up so that he may have found her charming. He’s very quick witted, you have to step up your game around him. Best then that airheads take a pass on interviewing him.

    • Eve says:

I almost agree with everything you’ve said (I don’t think he was actually being a jerk).

The girl, however, posted an absolutely immature, stupid, ridiculous, unprofessional article on ABC’s website that infuriated me:

      http://abcnews.go.com/ABC_Univision/Entertainment/jesse-eisenberg-learned-magic-tricks-now-set/story?id=19201708

On her Twitter, she says “Watch as Jesse Eisenberg makes me cry”. You know what? After reading that “article”, I’m the one who’d love to make her cry — by punching her right across her face.

      • Nance says:

I agree she’s immature, but I don’t get Eisenberg to go over-the-top because she call Morgan Freeman Freeman, would he prefer Morgan? I just don’t found calling people by their last name that disrespectful.

  16. Mar says:

I think it’s standard to lipsync at the Billboards

  17. Carolyn says:

Bieber really did get booed at the Billboard Awards when he won the “cough” Milestone Award. It was really obvious and quite shocking.

A significant proportion of the audience didn’t value his awesome-ness (that is heavy sarcasm).

  18. Nicolette says:

Ouch! That hurts to watch. I wonder how her back, neck and head are feeling today, I mean his whole body weight slammed into her. Not good I imagine. Hope she was checked for a concussion, and she should get a lawyer a.s.a.p.

  19. Jane says:

I hope he gets sued. What a f***ing IDIOT!!

  20. bee says:

He wasnt stage diving, i think he tried to jump on to the other stage. Poor woman.

  21. Adrien says:

Who’s Miguel? Floor directors won’t allow these kinds of spontaneous act from artists because it is dangerous for both the artist and the members of the audience. I know he got carried away and he seemed like a nice guy and true performer but a professional would always follow the director’s orders. I hope the girl’s ok.
