LeAnn Rimes talks about her fertility, possibly adopting or using a surrogate

I told you yesterday that LeAnn Rimes had given “exclusive” interviews to both Us Weekly and People Magazine, and I imagine both pieces include the same BS quotes about “feeling pathetic” and “being strong now” and “not knowing how to process everything.” As it turns out, LeAnn also talked about motherhood and fertility and such too. Fascinating…

She’s got a full house already: a husband, two kids and four dogs, but LeAnn Rimes is ready to expand, when the time is right.

“We have a lot on our plates,” says the singer of home life with Eddie Cibrian, 39, and his children Mason, 9, and Jake, 6, who live with the couple part-time. “But whenever I talk about kids, I’m like, ‘Let’s have one!’ I have a lot of work to do now but I’m totally ready if it happens.”

Timing aside, Rimes, 30, whose new album Spitfire is out June 4, is realistic about her dreams of being a mother.

“It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don’t have that [issue] but if I do, then a surrogate is something I’ve thought about,” she says. “Eddie and I have also talked about adopting. My capacity to love a child doesn’t stop at my own eggs, obviously!”

Rimes and Cibrian married in 2011, two years after separating from their respective spouses following an explosive, and highly publicized, affair.

“I felt like my life was falling apart,” she says. “But now I feel settled. I’m proud of our great family. Eddie is an amazing father and I love my stepsons.”

Still, Rimes says with a laugh, it would be nice to mix things up a bit when it comes time for a new arrival. “Testosterone is all around here so I need a little girl!”

[From People]

LeAnn with a daughter… OMG. I don’t know whether that would be a cosmic joke or whether we should just call CPS right now. I actually don’t think LeAnn could deal with having to “compete” with a daughter for attention. It would not bring out the best in her. As for the fertility issue, Us Weekly released more of their interview:

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have their hands full with Mason and Jake, the actor’s sons with ex-wife and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. Even so, the spouses of two years are excited about the prospect of starting a family of their very own.

“We talk about having kids all the time and I would love to, but it’s gonna be a second,” Rimes tells Us Weekly. “I’m still young and fertile — it’s all good!”

The “Borrowed” singer predicts that Mason, 9, and Jake, 6, will be “a little older” before she and Cibrian give them a half-sibling. “I was just with the kids for the last two days taking care of them on my own, and trust me . . . I have a newfound respect for working moms who do it all by themselves,” Rimes admits. “It was my birth control for a little bit — so overwhelming!”

The tight-knit brothers are “really active,” Rimes explains, so most afternoons are spent hanging out in the backyard playing “whatever they’re dreaming up at that moment.”

“The little one has a vivid imagination, so we’re usually playing swords and shooting people with imaginary guns. Mason is turning 10 and he’s definitely got that kind of pre-teen thing going on, which is so crazy because I’ve known him since he was 6,” the Grammy winner tells Us. “They ride dirt bikes now and quads. I grew up in Mississippi, so I’ve ridden quads my whole life, since I was like 2-years-old. So that’s kind of like our family thing to do now. Everybody has either a dirt bike or a little quad and we go riding around the neighborhood.”

Rimes, 30, doesn’t mind being outnumbered 3-to-1 when Cibrian has custody of the kids. “It’s fun to be around boys,” explains the singer, whose new album Spitfire is out June 4. “You get to do things that I didn’t necessarily get to do and haven’t gotten to do in a long time. With two boys around, I usually don’t get out of shorts and a T-shirt because we’re rolling around most of the time and jumping on a trampoline. I love it!”

[From Us Weekly]

Again, how is this appropriate? How is it appropriate to pitch a fit about your ex-wife showing your sons (in the background) of a reality show but it’s completely okay for your children’s stepmother to whore out details of her stepsons’ lives to Us Weekly. Oh, and I live in the South too and it’s common to let young children ride/drive ATVs and dirtbikes, but that should be a discussion between Eddie and Brandi and it shouldn’t involve LeAnn discussing it with Us Weekly!!! Also: LeAnn is still posting creepy Vine videos too, and check out this one which includes Mason and Jake! How shocking.

Here’s another one which includes Eddie giving the camera a “FML” look.

  1. Amelia says:

That *might* be a little tricky, MeAnn, if the stories about your husband getting his non-existant nads rendered useless are to be believed.

  2. brin says:

She basically announced that Eddie violated the custody agreement when she said she had the boys alone for two days. Hope Brandi got on that.

    • Brown says:

That’s the first thing I noticed, too. I thought HorseFace isn’t allowed to have the boys while Eddie is not present? I’ve never been through a divorce/custody battle so I don’t know the rules, but I know I’ve read on this site that that is pretty black and white, and she just announced it in a public interview. Idiot.

      • honey bucket says:

Why are they filming these two young boys and then placing the film online? Doesn’t that violate the custody rules? Brandi can’t film the kids for reality show so why can horse face and husband put the kids in online film? Brandi go after them for this!!!

      • candigirl says:

Leann has a double standard in life. She gets a free pass to do whatever she wants and everyone else has to follow her rules. Her parents, Brandi, etc.
Just like when she called Kim Smiley and her daughter and yelled at and threatened them for liking Brandi and then turned around and sued them for the call. That’s why people are donating to the Smileys on gofundme.

    • Sherry says:

Not Team Anyone, but why wouldn’t she be able to keep the boys for a couple of days alone? It’s not like she’s Brooke Mueller, Amanda Bynes or Lindsay Lohan.

      • MrsPatrickBateman says:

I don’t know of the actual reason for the decision but it doesn’t really matter. Their agreement states she can’t be alone with the boys so they should follow it. If Brandi wasn’t following part of the agreement you can be sure there would be numerous passive aggressive tweets from LeAnn about it and threats of court as well.

      • MoxyLady007 says:

Because their mother should be able to spend that time with them!

      • Sherry says:

But Brandi works. If she thinks Eddie’s got them for that week and she accepts a job out of town, and Eddie has a job somewhere (stop laughing … it could happen), then there’s no reason she wouldn’t be able to take the boys. Brandi herself has said the boys adore her and she seems to love them.

I don’t see a problem here and if Brandi doesn’t throw a fit about it, there probably is no problem on her end.

      • PrincessMe says:

A lot of custody agreements have it (from what I’ve heard/read). It’s called ROFR (right of first refusal) where if one parent is unable to be with the child(ren) during their custody time, the other parent has the “first right” to have them with him/her. If the other parent doesn’t want to have them, or can’t have them during that time, then the parent whose parenting time it is can have someone else watch them. At least that’s how I understand it, somebody else can probably explain it better.

      • CreamSoda says:

Maybe she shouldn’t be alone with them because she keeps laxatives and other “goodies” within the kids’ reach.

      • drdoolittling says:

It really does not matter, though. Just because someone does not agree with a court order doesn’t mean they get too completely ignore it. The cahones on this woman are large while Eddie’s balls are shriveled and up in his stomach.

      • Itsa Reallyme says:

Because that time is for them to spend with their father. If their father isn’t there, there’s no need for them to be there. I’m sure Brandi would rather keep them with her all the time so to have Eddie take them for a visit and then not even be there, would be more than a little maddening for the mother.

    • Debbie says:

If I was Brandi I would be in court so fast it would scare you and I’d ask Lisa and ken to help find the best lawyer in LA!! Not only would I make it so those boys were only over their every other weekend and only with eddie present, never left alone with leanne, I would ban her from speaking about them, arranging photos ops and importantly posting and form of image on social media! There are security concerns for god sakes.

    • TexasTexasTexas says:

I’m a stepmom. It doesn’t violate custody if the custodial parents’ spouse cares for the children. Why would it? That’s ridiculous. I’m not a LeAnn fan, but she does have the right to be a stepmom.

      • drdoolittling says:

Um, their custody agreement does have a clause, though.

      • Jennifer12 says:

WHY? Because she whores them out to paps, basically constantly announcing their whereabouts; takes their pictures and films them and puts the pictures and video out for public consumption; lets the little one ride a bike on a public road with no helmet and without his training wheels; feeds them sugar and junk food nonstop; allows her weird fans around them; appears to take drugs/drinks; the boys have had a few accidents while with her and she hasn’t bothered to tell their MOTHER; attempts to make decisions for them without asking their MOTHER; really, are you asking why Leann shouldn’t have the kids?

      • Lulu says:

If that were true, than Brandi could simply quietly call the police and have th enforce the custody order. em

        Dang phone!! dang

  3. paola says:

Next thing we’ll see it’ll be a scan of her womb! What makes her think people are interested in what she says?? What happens when she’ll run out of subjects?Hopefully she won’t be around anymore.

  4. Erinn says:

Something nice: She looks kind of pretty in the bottom photo. Better than any of the bikini photos she plasters social media with, at least.

Not so nice: The idea of her raising a child makes me nervous.

  5. the original bellaluna says:

What is wrong with her? *incredulous*

  6. Jayna says:

She used to say every interview her and Dean were discussing kids too.

Quads are dangerous, people paralyzed from flip-overs. I wouldn’t want LeAnn being the one supervising my kids when they are on them. You need a common sense adult with the kids.

She couldn’t handle the kids for just two days alone. Hysterical.

    • Erinn says:

They are dangerous. But if you’re using them properly, it’s not that bad. The worst thing I did growing up was hit into a tree. And it did no damage to the tree, me, or the quad.

Never been close to flipping, never drove like a maniac, never got hurt. You have to teach your kids to be safe, and make sure they’re wearing the proper safety equipment. Still can be dangerous, but if they’re supervised it’s not bad.

      • Rachel80 says:

Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time commenting. (I often feel I have nothing to add because you guys are awesome.) Figured today was as good as any to put my 2 cents in. lol.
Anyway, I live in Northwest FL and have been around quads, or 4-wheelers as we refer to them, all my life. I can’t recall when I first drove one on my own, but it was pretty young. Safety was always stressed big time, and my mom was usually nearby.
But when I was in my early twenties there were a few fatal accidents in my area, all involving teenagers. One was especially tragic.. my maternal grandfather’s best friend died in a motorcycle wreck coincidentally right in front of my mother’s house. (While she was home) Five months later his 15 year old daughter died after flipping her 4-wheeler on top of herself. Neither were wearing helmets at the time. Then about 2 months after that another teenager decided to get on a highway on his for a minute, lost control and hit a car.
My point? Just that I think they can be a lot of fun if you are safe, and know how to handle one. But it will be a LONG time before I left my 5 year old anywhere near one on his own.

      • Jayna says:

That’s my point. We have LeAnn home alone supervising them on them. I would be freaked out as the mom knowing no Eddie around. LeAnn would be too busy tweeting out there to look up and watch the kids. Remember the bicycle training video by a busy street? LOL

      • Isa says:

I agree I wouldn’t want Leann supervising my kids on one of those things! She has poor judgment in every other aspect of her life I imagine she has poor judgement in keeping the kids safe.

    • candigirl says:

Yeah, one of the last interviews she gave with Dean was for their Seven Year Itch anniversary party, just a few weeks before the cheating scandal. She blathered on and on about how they wanted kids and talked about it all the time.

    • Cam S says:

How does Leann watch children when she can’t put the phone down and stop tweeting/recording videos 24/7? Literally, 24/7

  7. janie says:

I thought her faithful husband had a vasectomy? Maybe she should start there? If we all know about it, why doesn’t she? Should someone tweet her with the news? Just a thought…..

  8. jasperkitty says:

You need a license to drive but any stupid broad can have a child.

  9. moon says:

I think LeAnn needs to take a step back on the stepson thing. It’s not like this is a Denise Richards situation. Brandi may be a c-lister milking her fame’s worth, but she sounds like a responsible mother. Stealing someone’s husband is bad enough. But trying to take their children too is totally unacceptable.

  10. Charlotte says:

That self-satisfied smirk she’s wearing in every selfie and ‘vine’ video is horrendous. Clearly, she thinks she looks great doing it. I wonder how many hours she practiced it in front of the mirror.

  11. truthful says:

    A surrogate??? LOL-I can’t imagine.

Would Eddie get to personally deliver the sperm??

  12. Rianic says:

Just because she’s young it doesn’t mean anything. One, being super skinny affects fertility – when I struggled at 29, my reproductive endocrinologist told me to gain ten pounds to regulate my cycles. As soon as I hit 115 – bam! Preggers

At 31, a different story. It took us two years and six IUIs to get my twins. Not because of me, but because my husband’s sperm quality had dropped (I hanged his ringtone to Dori’s Just Keep Swimmkng). She needn’t think just because Eddie had kids before he’s ok, and you isn’t a promise of children

  13. BeachBelle says:

LeAnn tweeted this yesterday when someone asked her a question:

“it’s not that I can’t, we’ve never tried. I know my mom had sever issues & I’d do whatever it took, that’s all :)

This woman being responsible for any child scares me.

  14. Rianic says:

I’m telling y’all. She had the kids when Eddie was gone so she could keep tabs on him .

Keep your phone on you in case I need to get in touch!!!

Call the boys twice a day!!!

  15. My_Truth says:

I’ve never seen or heard of a step-parent talk about their stepkids more than their parents in my entire life, especially when both parents are involved. Too put so much detailed information out in the public about two minors that you have absolute no legal rights to is just disgusting. Brandi needs to head back to court, Ediot needs to grow a pair & Leann needs to get arthritis in her fingers (hard to tweet then) & constipation of the mouth so she can STFU!

  16. Kate says:

How could she talk about her mom’s struggles with infertility in one interview, making it seem like she may also end up struggling to conceive, and then in the next interview claim she’s young and fertile and there’s no rush to get pregnant? I think she’s laying the groundwork for the eventual surrogate she uses, and that surrogate will be used not for fertility issues, but because she doesn’t want to get fat during pregnancy.

    • needsmeds says:

Ol’ Ed famously wasn’t thrilled with Brandi’s post baby lady parts either so I’m sure that’s a factor.

    • Deanne says:

She seems to lie compulsively. She changes her story every interview, depending on what angle she’s trying to spin. To continue her role as perpetual victim, she plays the “my Mom had fertility issues and I might too” card and to continue her role as way better second wife and get a jab in at decade older Brandi, it’s the “Im young and fertile” card. Kind of like how she partied and tweeted for the month of her birthday, saying she was so insanely happy and blissful and then changed her story to being in bed, crying unconsolably and unable to do anything. Lying is LeLe game. She’s just too stupid to grasp that she trips herself up.

  17. Kara says:

You know in all this stuff between her and Brandi and back&forth & feuding & SWFing & nostrils…where’s Eddie? It seems he’s never around! Seriously?!

  18. MrsPatrickBateman says:

In the Memorial Day vine video, who is the girl in the romper? I thought it was LeAnn but in her selfie she’s wearing something different. That’s another thing I’ve noticed, no one takes pictures of her. She takes tons of pictures but she is only shown if it’s a selfie or paps took it.

  19. DCJ says:

These videos…I don’t even know what to say. Her face – pose, position, angle, smirk, everything is exactly the same in each of them! She looks like a demented doll. Are we supposed to think the videos are cute? Because they make me want to barf, and that redhead friend is gross.

  20. Quinn says:

Man, she looks even worse in video. Yikes.

  21. Debbie says:

She is so offensively out of line with those boys. I seriously can’t stand when people like her, Gisele, Megan fox use their step kids to improve their images especially when it’s obvious and you know their real moms spend the vast majority of time with them and are basically raising them on their own (notice it also stops when they pop out their own publicity machine)! But unlike Gisele and Megan, Leanne seems to be doing this not only to improve her image but to hurt Brandi and that is sick.

Seriously Hollywood moms look at how jada smith has take her roll as step mother (@ least publically) and follow.

Brandi needs to higher the best lawyer and go to court!!

    • MrsPatrickBateman says:

Gisele said things to hurt Tom’s ex as well. She did not handle herself well at all and was basically just a higher class LeAnn without the SWFing.

      • Debbie says:

You’re right I forgot about some of that I do know its why I hate Gisele and just see ugly (although I didn’t think she was pretty before) after what she did with Tom and that child she just showed how ugly of a human she is.

They all need to stfu those aren’t their kids and they don’t have them all that much so show some respect!!! Besides if these women truly loved these children they would not use them as props and respect the parents.

  22. polkasox says:

It sounded like she was going to give some great exclusive info & nope – just talking about OTHER people’s issues. Ugh, LeAnn.

  23. judyjudy says:

These videos are really creepy. Are they supposed to be creepy? I mean, is that the purpose of vine videos? They look like bad dreams or serial killer flashbacks.

  24. sonia says:

her weird smirky pose face reminds me of Tori Spelling’s weird smirky pose face! And I feel bad typing that, because I like Tori Spelling. Sorry Tori. I just compared you to this filth.

  25. lucy2 says:

I hope she’s just saying this for attention.
She doesn’t seem mentally fit to care for a baby, and their marriage doesn’t exactly seem rock solid.
And SHUT UP about the step-kids in the media!

  26. betty says:

Poor Leann is trying to pretend Brandi kids are hers, and her role in their lives is just as important as their mother. Leann is a sick woman. You can talk the talk all you want it will not change the fact the kids HAVE a mother and she will always be just a fill in. I would be shocked if Eddie used a surrogate or adopted any more kids because he does not work enough to support the one he has and does not want be saddled down with more child support payments. Leann talks all this BS because it sounds great and look great in print trying make herself appear as a loving “bonus mom” and wife when in reality she knows that marriage is fragile and could crumble at any time.

  27. Rita says:

One day she says she’s “still young and fertile” and the next day she’s considering adoption or a surrogate. Are we going to be subjected to LeAnn’s crap for the next 30 years. I mean for God’s sake, give up the music career ’cause it ain’t happening and find some sort of life.

As far as children are concerned, that ain’t going to happen either ’cause Eddie’s had his wings clipped….well, not his wings but you know what I mean.

  28. BeachBelle says:

Also someone asked her on Twitter why she wasn’t in OK for the tornado benefit country concert last night. Her response:

“I was going to be but I had family I had to be at home for. I am planning something on my own. I’m sad I couldn’t be there.”

Family she had to be home for? I bet she wasn’t invited to perform.

    • OK says:

I agree. She isn’t a big star, so why would they invite her? The family excuse is disgusting. They aren’t going anywhere. It was one night. She’s trying to come off as a big family person but I think that decision is just selfish, if in fact she was invited which I highly unlikely.

    • Annie B says:

She wasn’t invited to perform, she wasn’t invited to speak, as others were via tape or live video as they actually WERE busy on tour or working on their TV shows, and couldn’t travel to OK. As in they have actual CAREERS and things planned before the tornado happened that couldn’t be changed. If Leann was asked to travel to OK to perform and Eddie had to travel to support her Brandi would have taken the boys, for the benefit of the people who suffered through a tornado. Leann is a liar, period. Pathetic liar.

    • Itsa Reallyme says:

What family did she need to be home for? Her step sons have 2 parents that are quite capable of caring for their own kids. Leann’s “help” is not needed.

  29. Cam S says:

I’ve been on here often, almost since the beginning of the US weekly cheating video. I’ve said numerous times how I think Ed is w/Le for the money and lifestyle. Seeing her actions lately, and his (lack there of) and also the way he interacts with her really confirms what I have said all along. Only a fool would not be able to see it. He isn’t even acting like he cares about her anymore. I see apathy in that man’s eyes when he is with her. Kind of sad, but fitting.

Leann will never have or adopt kids of her own. In her eyes, she has her family. Even if she had to pay for them. She has been paying for people her whole life, and she probably doesn’t know any other way.

Brandi is supposed to share custody with Eddie, not Leann. Leann didn’t help create those lives, so why should Brandi let Leann get visits without the Father around? I’d be danged if I have to give up my kids half time to spend with the StepMom only. That is nonsense. Leann acts like she was the one married to Brandi.

  30. Apsutter says:

I could totally see her being competitive with a daughter in the style of Joan Crawford’s Mommie Dearest. The poor girls life would totally be on the back burner because of this raging narcissist.

  31. TheTruthHurts says:

From what we have seen, I don’t get the feeling that Eddie wants to have children with LeAnn, biological, adopted, fostered, whatever. If he wanted that, they would have done it already. It appears he is perfectly happy using her as his live in nanny and money supply instead. I think she is now throwing the possible fertility issue out there and taking advantage of the fact her mom had a problem, as a cover. If I was a woman with fertility issues, I’d be really offended that LeAnn quite possibly could be using that as an excuse for a husband who doesn’t want babies with her, rather than the truth.

    • Christin says:

Does anyone else think it is interesting he gets a job (out of the country, no less) around the time it is claimed “they” want to have a TV show and may be thinking of having a baby? If they get a work project together, he is more tied down. Having a child will bind them together forever. He probably “talks” about a lot of things, but I doubt he wants a child from this marriage.

      • TheTruthHurts says:

Exactly. I’m sure he says whatever she needs to hear and adds “lets wait a little longer when we aren’t so busy..” just to shut her up. He’s probably been saying it now for four years. His job in Canada doesn’t mean anything in regards to the two of them as most productions are filmed in Canada now, it’s cheaper and called “Runaway Production!”

  32. KLC says:

Leann would have to stop taking her psoriasis meds before even trying to get pregnant. That, and weight gain and actually being pregnant knowing Eddie’s history, don’t see it. That is, if Eddie hasn’t been snipped.

  33. Vanessa says:

Leann rimes is so freaking entitled she honestly thinks she has right to someone else children. I can’t believe she openly admit to violated the custody agreement I hope Brandi gets her lawyer on this and change the custody agreement only allowing supervision visted between the boys and Eddie because its clearly he doesn’t want to spend any time with his kids at all. He would rather whore around than spend time with his own kids I don’t blame Brandi one bit for being upset and going off on Leann last week . Leann has no rights to those kids what so ever she unstable and allows the kids to do dangerous things just to upset their mother that not someone I would want around my kids.

  34. qtpi says:

Everything there is to say has been said about these three… a million times over.

My confusion is LR and the people around her that stand to make money from a successful album (curb records?). If I don’t like who you are I am not going to your movie (Tom Cruise) or buying your album. How does she not understand this?

  36. KellyinSeattle says:

She also said she’s always in …sweats, I believe, and tennis shoes, when she’s with the boys…all the pics of her show her tottering in high heels and dressed up ‘sexy”….
She’ll probably put live birth on line.
I have never seen anyone who thinks they’re sooo sexy..maybe Rod Stewart, but he IS sexy!
Forget her, though, I’m going to read about GRUMPY CAT now!

  37. Rita says:

I’m sure Eddie told LeAnn that his set in Toronto was a closed set (LIAR) and her options were to sit in the hotel with her “hand-holder” or stay at home with his kids.

  38. PoliteTeaSipper says:

I understand that most kids can ride four wheelers and be fine, but the children’s hospital I work at gets a steady stream of patients who are paralyzed, have severe trauma, and/or near “vegetable” status from four wheelers, jet skis, and the like. It only takes seconds to change life for the worse.

  39. Christin says:

“Everybody has either a dirt bike or a little quad and we go riding around the neighborhood.”

I’ll bet the neighbors in “Cali” LovE that!

I am from the Southeast U.S., and yes, quads and motorbikes are popular. There have been several fatalities (from ages 10 to 25) on quads in our area. There are people who will ride them in nice, otherwise quiet neighborhoods and even trespass on others’ property instead of riding on their own land or where they have permission. Quads and dirtbikes are not street legal in my area, either, yet some people will ride them up and down neighborhood roads without any protective gear.

  40. SE says:

I can’t imagine Brandi won’t go ballistic about the tone of that article, and LeAnn speaking so openly and possessively about the boys (though she would better direct her ire and energy into getting an attorney to tighten the custody agreement).

  41. Zooyork says:

Ewwww I don’t want to hear about her eggs!

And if they want kids with each other as bad and she says, and she’s young and fertile (eww tmi)… Why aren’t they trying now?

She says they’re going to wait till later? For what? And why?? Has she ever said? What’s going to change in their lives that would make it a better time to have kids down the road?

Someone please share your thoughts on this, I’m at a loss.

Most women are meant to have kids and others not so much. Most women may not blessed to bear a child..

IDK if LR is blessed to have a child only GOD knows what his plan… If its meant to be it will be

this is just more of the same old same old leann bullsh*t. she can’t keep her lies/stories/her truth straight.
anyone else see the psychic do a reading on leann getting pregnant, but going through a crazy meltdown cause she can’t take her usual funtime pill??

Didn’t Brad Pitt divorce Jennifer Aniston because she did not want kids?

I never thought I could dislike a “celebrity” (and I use the term loosely) as much as I do this chick. She disgusts me more than Kim Kardashian and that’s saying a lot.

Ok. Thats it. If Brandi doesn’t go to court and get a restraining order to restrain posting videos and photos or clause at least stating that Leann is not allowed to post photos or videos of the boys online, I’m through with her FOREVER. Its legally actionable. Even schools have to have signed permission slips from parents before a school publishes photos of minors in papers or online. This is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT, the permission of the mother for their chid’s image to be used. Brandi can use a pauper’s lawyer or even a pro bono one, or even no lawyer at all, just act on her own behalf, she has Leann right there. I’m not American and I don’t get this ‘retainer’ stuff, I don’t know what the heck that even is. Here, you need a lawyer you make an appointment with one, ask them to act for you on an issue and give them the details. I don’t understand wtf is up with lawyers in America but it sounds really suss to me. You need a lawyer, you make an appointment with one. Its that simple. If you have documented evidence which Brandi has more of than I’ve had hot lunches, you’ll win anyway, its a straightforward thing so you shouldn’t need to spend an enormous amount of money. A bare minimum lawyer should suffice. I don’t understand where this “she has more money so therefore we can’t sue” thing comes in. You DO NOT NEED a lot of money, she could even represent herself if need be. She has the documented evidence, thats all she needs. If she doesn’t legally stop Leann posting videos and photos, by going to court and arguing her children’s images are being used without her consent, then that is the final, absolute and beyond conclusive proof to me that she doesn’t give a flying shoot about what Leann does, and in fact condones and approves it.

I’m late as usual. For all the posters who have been wondering why Brandi hasn’t gone to court-you have to file your petition or motion, not call the cops. The judge is going to ask if the kids have suffered abuse or neglect-the answer is no. So then you get referred to Friend of the Court, a referee, magistrate or whatever the jurisdiction . Courts don’t get worked up about minor violations and don’t give a crap for social media. The kids haven’t suffered harm. And all this would cost about $20’000 and would result in no change in custody.

Remember this is the state that couldn’t get the kids removed by CPS from Octoskank.

Yeah, Meann and Eddiot have violated the fine print in the Custody Agreement but so what? No grounds for relief. And I think it’s deliberate. The best chance is to present a pattern of violations with evidence of imminent harm-vary tough to do.

Legal rant over. Usual disclaimer, I’m not licensed in Cali.

I know several women of much more modest means who took their exes back to court. I am puzzled as to why she doesn’t legally address publicizing these kids, if nothing else. If she doesn’t take a legal route, then is she hesitant because of Eddie? She needs to focus on those boys instead of any remaining feelings for their father. Maybe she assumes the marriage will end soon, but I would not count on that.

    • Jennifer12 says:

I 100% agree that Brandi needs to go to court and take control of the situation as best she can. I believe she’s leery of starting more crap with Leann and Eddie as they’re extremely vindictive. With that said, the problem is that the FATHER, POS that he is, will say he gave Leann permission to post those photos and videos.

  48. Ember says:

I hate to give this psycho too much credit, but do you think it is possible she is tired of the boys and she is putting this out there to cause Eddie to lose some custody time? He seems to be a master at getting her to take care of his crap and if she is helpless to say no to him directly maybe she is trying to manipulate the situation.

    It’s just so blatant.
