These are photos from last night’s CFDA Awards (Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards). The big winner last night was Proenza Schouler, obviously. Many women love their clothes and they’ve had yet another great year. Miranda Kerr was one of the few models wearing Proenza Schouler – I would imagine they chose her on pupose, I guess. I like the fabric on this dress, but I’m not wild about the cut. Still, she looks really good here. Much better than at the Met Gala.
Sofia Vergara in Herve L. Leroux. The necklace is Lorraine Schwartz. I love the green and I love emeralds. The whole look is very obvious and matchy-matchy, but it’s okay. That’s HER look.
Ireland Baldwin in David Meister. Again, pretty and obvious. An attractive blonde girl in a red dress, blah. I will say this – Ireland’s hair looks amazing here. She should wear her hair in loose waves more often, it really suits her.
Dan Stevens (Cousin Matthew from Downton) was there for some reason and OMG look at his shoes!
Ethan Hawke, looking pretty good. God help me, I would hit it.
Erin Fetherston in ?? – sorry, I don’t have the ID for this. It’s pretty. She looks weird with that shade of blonde though.
Adriana Lima in Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Fall 2013. I can’t believe how cheap and tacky this dress looks. I think we just have to acknowledge that Riccardo Tisci is a terrible designer. Everything he’s designed lately has been awful.

LOVE Miranda’s dress, but Dan Steven is turning into a bobble-head.
Right?! Has he eaten since they killed him off of Downton? He’s definitely lost a lot of weight since Season 3, when I remarked that it seemed like Cousin Matthew was eating all of Mary’s food. He kept growing, she kept shrinking. Now he’s shrinking too. Yuck!

I agree on Miranda’s dress. That cut is awkward. Totally random, but I’m totally convinced that Miranda and Orlando split a while back but are keeping it super hush hush.
Miranda is a stunning women. I don’t think anyone would dispute that. When I look at her, I can’t help but think; ditzy, flirt,airhead.

I love Miranda’s dress and even though I think Sofia dress is tacky as usual her face and hair look gorgeous. That Ireland is just not interesting to me. She is so meh and way too desperate for attention. Not the dress here just all the photos she puts out of herself in skimpy clothing.
Ireland is not wearing that dress; the dress is wearing her. She needs to work on that if she plans on being a model.
She is not a good model at all. In professional shoots she photographs plastic-y and so devoid of personality that it’s almost corpse-like. Perhaps she can learn the trade but she is not a natural model. (Note to all, posting a few good “selfies” on Twitter does not a model make.)

is it just me or is Sofia Vergara getting skinny but her boobs aren’t? Her arms and face do not match her chest. Not a good look. I must say she otherwise looks beautiful in the dress.
Adriana Lima looks tragic. Her looks like a budget Jessica Biel…if there is such a thing. I won’t get into how tacky that dress is.

And then Miranda. I can’t stand her face and head. They are weird. The dress is weird. It seems as if the seam around the hips shouldnt have been placed there. It should either have been absent or higher up. The colour is pretty though.
And when women get thin but their boobs don’t, I take that to mean their boobs are fake??
That is correct. Implants aren’t made of fat & can’t grow or shrink.
I always tend to think this but I have a couple of slim friends with gigantic boobs that don’t change size even if they lose weight. I’ve known them since childhood, their boobs are real, but for some weird reason, they are the last place they lose weight from. One used to be a ballerina and was teeny, but no matter how much weight she lost, her boobs stayed the same size. She hated it! I wish that was my problem. My boobs are the FIRST place I lose weight from!
I kind of like Sofia and Ireland’s, but I tend to like more simple dresses. Ireland really looks like both parents in that photo. I don’t get the media’s fascination with her, or why she’s suddenly an instant celebrity.

I don’t understand why I like Miranda’s dress. Shiny, boxy, mermaid-y… I should hate it. But I like it. It would look great on my body type but I would never drop enough money to pay for high fashion. The thought just makes me laugh.
Ireland Baldwin always looks about thirty years old to me. Not in a bad way, she’s incredibly good-looking, just way more mature than her actual age. I bet she’s one of those people who’ll look the same age her whole life.
I don’t know why I used to think Dan Stevens was hot. I even used to like his little double chin on Downton Abbey. Now he is anything but and gives off a total goofus vibe.
Ireland Baldwin has a likeable personality. She doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously. She’s a pretty girl and I hope she does well in her modeling career.
Ireland Baldwin looks much more like her father than her mother–and it’s not a good look. Her eyes are super beady. The funny thing about her is that you can tell she really thinks she’s beautiful (I’m sure she’s been told that every single day of her life). So maybe it doesn’t matter. I just don’t think Alec’s genes are working for her here.
