Here are some photos of Brad Pitt from earlier this week that I never got around to publishing. He was in France for several days, allegedly to take some meetings and help organize his wedding to Angelina. Of course, we’ve heard that all before many, many times so at this point it’s like “The Boy Who Cried Chateau Wedding”. What’s kind of funny to me is that Brad is literally wearing the same outfit he wore when flying to France. This is his new favorite outfit. I guess it’s really comfortable? Ugh, hobo goat.
But really, this story is so much more interesting to me – did Brad buy Angelina a private jet?!
Brad Pitt has apparently decided to splash out on a private jet for Angelina Jolie. The Hollywood stars are thought to be planning to marry later this year, although they are faced with some time apart soon. While Brad is due to shoot The Fury in the UK, Angelina’s next directing project Unbroken is taking place in Hawaii.
The actor apparently decided he wanted to make it as easy as possible for him, Angelina and their six children to still see each other. To help, he plans to splash out on a private jet so trained pilot Angelina can travel around with ease.
“He told her that she can choose the plane and he will pay – that way, they can fly back and forth to see each other and Angelina’s always wanted to fly a jet across the ocean anyway,” an insider told British magazine Heat.
Although Brad wants to treat his fiancée, he is being mindful about the cost of a plane. The two stars have a chateau in France which they have been renovating at great expense. It means he is likely to purchase a second-hand plane to help keep costs down.
The Hollywood superstars got engaged last year, although they have been together since 2005. Since they confirmed they were to marry there has been intense speculation about when and where the ceremony will take place.
It was recently suggested that Angelina wanted to pay tribute to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand by tying the knot in her favourite place, Hawaii. She has apparently been thinking of her mother a great deal since deciding to have a double mastectomy to cut her chance of developing breast cancer. Marcheline died after battling ovarian cancer in 2007.
“Angie seems to think that it would be very fitting if they had the legal part of the ceremony in Hawaii, wearing her mother’s beautiful ’70s wedding dress and with only their children around them. It will be a very private, emotional affair,” an insider said earlier this month.
“Hawaii brings back lots of memories of her mother for Angelina and was the one place that made Marcheline feel really happy.”
Both Brad and Angelina are trained pilots – he took flying lessons after they got together – but I think Angelina is reportedly the better pilot. She already owns (or owned) a few fancy little planes, I think one of them was a specially made Cessna. So, a private jet wouldn’t be a huge deal, I guess.
I didn’t realize that they were going to be separated while working on separate projects half-way across the globe from each other. Is that really the timeline? Maybe. I think Angelina is supposed to direct Unbroken in Hawaii this fall, and I don’t know when Brad will film Fury, but I guess that’s going into production soon enough, judging from Shia LaBeouf’s incessant camo-wearing.

No… all the negative stories are not true. But that doesn’t stop people like you from believing them. It is a two sided coin. They are not saints or perfect. But they are also not the evil you seem to think they are either.
I don’t Thats their correct schedule. It’s a well known fact that when one of them works, the other stays at home with the kiddos and they have stuck to that agreement since they got together. With the whole wedding thing I think one of these days they’re gonna come out and say oh BTW, were already married. Just like Angelina’s double mastectomy it’s gonna be kept secret. It’s their life I get it. As a fan I want to be invited to the wedding. I want to see Empress Z and Vivienne in flower girl outfits but oh well!

Yeah, I know when our budget gets tight we usually go for second-hand jets to save costs, too.

This is another fake story. I don’t know why tabs keep saying they are buying homes, islands, etc. They don’t even live a lavish lifestyle.
They never work at the same time. A couple of days may overlap but weeks apart isn’t something they would do.
They don’t live a ‘lavish lifestyle’??? They have homes in New Orleans, Santa Barbara, Los Feliz, a French friggin’ chateau and their own vineyard!
Perhaps I am the crazy one, but that seems to tip the balance towards ‘lavish’.
Actually there is a big difference between being licensed for a Cessna and being licensed for a jet. This story is more bs. And I’m so sure Jolie would enjoy captaining a long jet flight each weekend after working 12-15 hour days on set all week. Who writes this junk?

It might make sense if they insisted on their jet being rented from them by the studios when they travel at inflated prices as a form of tax optimization, but Jolie is most certainly not licensed to fly one.
I don’t understand their schedule this time around. Angie said that she would be filming Unbroken at the end of the year.I saw some article about casting calls. Fury seems to be a small movie. Brad is the biggest name in it; meaning this is not a big budget film.
There is a story at the Dailymail (I know but it is true and there are pictures)… Kind of relates to the blue tape on his passport.
Maddox was at some Paint ball place and some guy stole an ipad from the care. It had a sticker on it that read “family”. The guy was photographed and arrested. I’m sure he was thinking he had a big pay day coming. But I bet with such a big family you have to label things to keep track of it all. Brad said Angie has a suitcase with all their travel docs. She is the organized one.
They will be in Japan on Monday (Sunday) so maybe someone will ask about upcoming projects.

The budget for Fury is reported as 80 million so its not a small film but not a blockbuster. Fury is suppose to start filming the end of September
Unless Angelina has picked up her Learjet certification she cannot fly a jet yet. It’s possible but I doubt it at this point. Last we heard she was working toward her instrument rating. But she would also need her multi engine rating on her private certificate. And then the Learjet certification after those.
As for working apart, her shoot was only expected to be 7-8 weeks and its already been like 2 or 3. I bet she will be close to done before he starts his.

I don’t think Angelina has not started shooting yet. She was in Hawaii to scout locations. They just named the lead actor and are still casting parts.

Sorry but is has been confirmed that Unbroken will be shot during Christmas November/December time and Fury will start shooting in September/October in England.
Brad and Angelina dont work at the same time hence the reason they plan everything. They will both be in Japan next week but after that whole of August is off and they might actually get married in secret then.

I thought “Unbroken” was to begin filming in late September and “Fury” would not start until early January. That is what I read in Deadline, which is far more reliable than the Daily Fail.
Also, as mentioned, Angelina is not licensed to fly a jet, only small planes and, even if she were able to pilot a jet it would be impossible for her to work the long days necessary to direct her movie and then pilot a jet from Hawaii to somewhere in Europe and back for a weekend visit. That doesn’t even make good sense.
Plus, I suppose we can add the “used jet” to all the other things Brad and Angelina did not buy . . . the villa in Italy, the island in Dubai, the villa in Spain, and on and on. These rags seem to love making up stories about this couple.
I think it is the opposite. Fury starts this Fall (September) and Unbroken in January or earlier.
I saw an interview from one of the actors and he said they start in September. Plus there are pics of Brad on a base again training to drive a tank. So his work starts first. Angie said at one of the WWZ premiers that she would start filming at the end of the year. So I’m taking what they say as the truth. But schedules do change.
I know. Why would you want to fly that distance after working for so long??? I think they live a low key lifestyle. I have a feeling more of her money is donated and used to fund productions than spent on anything she doesn’t really need like a private jet. .
Nothing wrong with a second hand jet and if this is true, I don’t think she’s get upset by the fact that it IS used. It could still look and perform like it’s new.
I can’t believe I’m speaking in such blase terms about a damn private jet like I have several.
Something about this doesn’t sound right. I just don’t believe both of them would be working at the same time. As others have said, they have stuck to the pattern of one of them working, while the other stay home for almost a decade. It wouldn’t make sense to change that now.
