February 25th will be the one year anniversary of the start of Celebitchy. I know I’m not winning an Oscar, but I’d like to thank my husband for being more than supportive, you guys – the readers and commentors – for helping us grow, and everyone who ever linked us. Special thanks to The Bastardly for giving us links and thoughtful mentions in the first few months.
And I cannot thank our new writers: UrbanDK, Viv, Chic Mommy, White Trash Mom, and Lady Licorice, enough.
The site has been slow lately, and my webhosts tell me it’s time to move to another platform and that upgrades just won’t cut it anymore. Celebitchy is hosted on two dedicated servers, but WordPress is supposedly the problem. We started out with the blog software Movable Type, are now using WordPress, and hope to move to Drupal within the next few months. We’ve hired a developer and hope that the next transition will be painless and quick. The site should be better than ever, with comments back on the pages, once we’ve moved.
Also thanks to Photobucket for hosting our images and Choopa for hosting the site. We cannot recommend them enough.

Thanks so much for hours of entertainment. Nothing gets done when I go here. Not such a bad thing except I must get an evil eye happening because my husband always says “Are you Celebitchy again?” Good luck for the future and to everyone that writes here.

Happy Anniversary CB, you do a great job – and handle hecklers and trolls really well.
This is one of those blogs I can come to an avoid a lot of pointless, needlessly nasty posts and/or comments, so keep up the good work and glad to hear you’re expanding.
