See… This is the first time I actually think I like Taylor Swift. The video of her reacting to that performance was amazing. Seriously one of the best things I’ve seen on a gossip site. Like, ever.
My two cents of the VMA’s:
I’m surprised people don’t realize how all of this is/was staged. How convenient for MTV to capture all of Taylor’s and the Smith family’s reactions through out the whole performance.
I’m pretty sure I did the same reactions Taylor planted when I was asked to give a “Shocked” reaction in Theater class in high school- Not impressed Taylor.
I thought it was more interesting how Taylor and her entitlement just reached over and grabbed her friend’s drink without asking. That small gesture said loads more about Taylor Swift than her twitching and tittering during someone else’s performance. (no matter how foolish that performance was)
For as gross and oily as Andrew comes off now i gotta say; Ive always loved that he has this relationship with Fergie? Like functional coparenting and probably still love (read: sexing on the low!), that’s kind of endearing for them. i get the feeling that if they were like a normal couple they woulda remarried or never broke up and had an open/monogamish (Holla Dan Savage) marriage

I could not agree more! Not everyone has to have a traditional relationship to be happy. My parents are the perfect example of that. They got married in their teens because of an accidental pregnancy and always had a happy marriage until it kind of imploded their late 30’s-early 40’s. They ended up getting divorced but kept dating casually until my mom finally moved back home and now they’re happier than they’ve ever been. I think a part of it is they’re older and the pressure is off and my brothers and I are grown up so they can just be together and it’s totally uncomplicated. And I don’t think they’ll ever get re-married but they don’t have to at this point.
Yeah. I like their relationship too. I sort of wish I had one of those. It’s like having security without being tied down. It’s like having love and support without the uncertainty of it all. It extends beyond the life and exchange of sex. I really like that he supports her. He’s like, “yeah, she is often an embarrassment but she’s my girl–even when I am not banging her. You mess with her; you mess with me.”

My friend from London says it is a very open secret that he is gay. And they stay together because he loves his girls. I kind of believe it since you have never ever seen him with another woman since their divorce.
Perez is an embarrassment to humanity and no matter how fit he gets, he’s gross and ugly inside and out. I hope he’s putting away lots of cash to pay for his child’s therapy sessions that they’ll need for the rest their life.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Prince Philip hates him some Fergie, but everyone else in the royal family seems to be willing to let bygones be bygones in terms of past indiscretions and multiple scandals.

Agreed. Fergie pooped the bed the first time around, but those two have always seemed to have some kind of good, loosey-goosey vibe. I hope they DO get back together in some way.

it may be genetics, or other things, but going by pics alone, she looks exactly like her father. same complexion at a similar age.
Regrading Charles, everyone behaved badly in the marriage and they should have been allowed to divorce in 1986 rather than dragging everyone through their mud.

But last night when I went to check the gossip news for Sunday the first pic I saw was the Smith family reacting to the Miley’s performance and I went to bed happy because I knew Monday was going to be good for gossip.

I’d like to say, for the record, that I am not ashamed of any reality television I’ve watched – I’ll tell anyone who cares that “Bachelorettes in Alaska” was an under appreciated gem. I even liked that Monica Lewinsky reality show where the men wore masks.
I am, however, deeply ashamed that I watched all of the Oprah series on Fergie.

I’ve always wanted to like Sarah, she had her childhood emotional issues just like Diana and marrying into the RF just magnified them , but she is such a whiner I just want to slap her and tell her to suck it up. Nothing is ever her own fault she always has someone else to blame.
The thing I hate most about her is the way she is always clinging on to her daughters at social gatherings and evenings out trying to be one of the in crowd. I guess she must be likable and good company because she seems to have a lot of friends who are always facilitating her.
