I’ve been going through Benedict Cumberbatch withdrawals this week. I’ve been good, right? I haven’t written about him all week. I needed a rest, you needed a rest, we needed to find out who we were beyond the Cumberobsession. But when Cumby left me, I was rudderless. Who do I turn to? Who do I love beyond The Batch?
Enter Joshua Jackson. These are some photos of Joshua and Diane Kruger in Rio de Janeiro yesterday. I don’t know why they’re there. I won’t speculate. Maybe it’s just a vacation. But can we all stop and appreciate Joshua’s cuteness? I think the overwhelming majority of women are into Joshua. He’s cute in a non-threatening way, but there is something dirty about him too. Like, he looks like a good shag. He snagged a beautiful German woman, so he’s working with something. Plus, he’s funny, charming and nice. Who doesn’t love Joshua?
As for Joshua shirtless… it’s nice. I like that he’s not some steroid monster. He’s buff and fit but not to the point where he looks like he lives at the gym. He’s not manscaped either – he has some peach fuzz chest hair which is adorable.
So, would I hit it? Of course. I would hit it and then it would probably make me breakfast afterwards.

There’s an easy fix for that: MORE CUMBY!!!!!! I actually started to get the shakes somewhere around Wednesday and yesterday I was desperate enough to consider watching The Last Enemy (shudder). On the upside, the National Theatre thing is this weekend, so we might have some nice shots to play with on Monday.
I don’t get the JJ thing. But I didn’t watch Dawson’s Creek, which I think is a pre-requisite. He seems like a nice enough bloke, though (bloke: I miss Sixer).
No Benedict posts this whole week! It feels … wrong. 🙁

I totally believe you. I totally believe that JJ has to be seen in action to be appreciated. I’m only judging by the above-posted photos. I definitely learned from Benedict Cumberbatch that 1-dimensional photos are not a proper means of judging a person’s overall looks and charm. I used to be one of those horrible, awful, dreadfully narrow-minded people who wouldn’t even watch Sherlock because I found his looks (at the time, having only seen photos) …. well, let’s just say …. *distracting*.

I am also really tired of the Cumberbatch postings. I certainly don’t think he is as well known in the real world as he is known on this site. In one article you had him in the same category as George Clooney and Brad Pitt. I knew then I would not be clicking on anymore Cumberbatch articles on Celebitchy.
Don’t forget he’s got that BAFTA award in a week, too! I am so curious to see who he’ll take with him, although I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s his mom.
