Err, a quick google tells me, ‘yes it was’.
Well, on that basis, I’m definitely seeing this film, but it’ll probably be a one-time thing. It looks like one of those films that really needs to be seen in a cinema with massive speakers that can cause a rumble in your chest.
That Godzilla trailer looks surprisingly good. I’ll probably go see it.
Speaking of Timothy Olyphant, during last night’s SOA there was a nice long Justified commercial, and it was AWESOME.
That teaser was pretty great. I will be probably see it, granted it has Juliette Binoche in the cast.
I keep seeing those Justified commercials! I even saw them running on FOX. The new season starts in less than a month…. woohoo!
So yes… if Timothy Olyphant ask you to get naked… for the love of all things holy… get naked!
Especially if he is wearing Raylan’s cowboy hat!
I love the brief little promo videos they do, especially involving the hat. The commercial last night was the first real glimpse of new footage from the season though, and featured a few characters I was practically giddy over seeing. And Boyd and Wynn Duffy teaming up.
Thats a perfect trailer. Doesn’t show too much, you see Gorilla, intense 2001 a Space Odyssey music, and the of course Aaron. Will definitely see it now.

But! I’m kind of over disaster-porn flicks. I’ve seen enough real-world destruction from recent catastrophes that I really don’t want to see fake destruction too.

This is indeed a great trailer. I’ll be seeing this in a cinema with friends so we call all jump at the scary bits and then laugh at being scared.
Trailer is intense, but I’ll walk around the rest of the day with BOC’s “Godzilla” in my head.

I am one of the 5 people that actually liked the Mathew Brodrick version (Jean Reno…sigh) without that truly awful female “girlfriend/reporter” actress. This version looks promising.
That Evangeline Lilly story is ridiculous. Basically she’s saying that she never wanted them to talk about her butt hanging out of short shorts so she posed for a picture of her butt hanging out of short shorts. WTF girl? Did she think they were going to photoshop pants on her or something? Then she’s blaming the magazine for not giving her a classy image. Isn’t she the same one who talked about getting drunk and peeing in trash cans on the Lost set? I really didn’t understand how Conan talked to her about it with a straight face. “It’s a women’s magazine, it’s not Maxim!” It’s the same women’s magazine who never has a woman on the cover who is fully dressed, hence why you posed with your butt hanging out of short shorts. With all the real exploitation of young actresses out there, this does not deserve righteous headlines.

YES! I think I saw Juliette Binoche (the woman he was looking at–but that might’ve been my imagination), and a really hot foreign actor whose name I can’t remember, but have seen him discussed in an ensemble cast before on this site.
