Nicole Richie, who has been sporting suspiciously fuller lips, collapsed for a second time on the set of “The Simple Life”, where she’s filming a fifth season of the reality show no one really cared about the first time.
Nicole Richie suffered a collapse on the set of “The Simple Life” last week, and her health issues are slowing down the production – and pissing off co-star Paris Hilton. According to Ben Widdicombe of the New York Daily News, the health-challenged Richie had to be “taken to her trailer immediately” after the on-set incident, and that at times she has “had trouble walking and speaking clearly,” though no ambulances have been called. The show’s co-creator, Jon Murray, told the Daily News, “There were a couple times when [Nicole] felt a little woozy and she sat down for a moment, [but] we continued within five to ten minutes.” Murray adds that Richie also suffered a “dehydration thing” earlier.
She collapsed on March 3rd also, and as the article mentions that was chalked up to “dehydration.”
Nicole has a history of substance abuse issues and was in rehab following a heroin possession charge four years ago. She was recently rumored by In Touch to be addicted to the ADD medication Adderall, which commentor “Up All Night” schooled me is essentially a prescription form of speed.
Adderall can help users lose weight due to appetite suppressant effects, but it also can result in paranoid and racing thoughts, inability to sleep, and dizziness.
Of course not eating can also cause you to collapse.
Richie’s dizzy spells aren’t limited to this month. Back in July of last year Richie fainted while shopping at Kitson. In October after a non-stint in food rehab to try and gain weight, Richie collapsed at club Hyde and had to be carried out by her friends through the back.
Here’s Richie outside of Mr. Chows on March 18th. A lot of people have pointed out that her lips look plumper. I’m not really liking her new hair, and she looks like she’s doing that thing where you check yourself out and try to get used to it right after you get a new hairstyle. [via]

this might sound harsh, but a part of me feels pity for her, but then i remember what a little bitch she is. as for her driving completely out of control going the wrong direction on the LA freeway full speed ahead in the fast lane completely drugged out…its one of those things where a person might think, well, a little partying is okay, maybe…but to take it to the point where she very easily could have killed a whole hell of a lot of innocent people jsut takes it to a level that makes me hate her..hate her for just laughing it off and showing no remorse whatsoever. I guess she knows from her loaded police record that daddy can get some good lawyer to get her out of any but any jam. Jeez, the only segment they need to run on “the simple life” is the real picture of what the hell is going on. Show the public what happens when you get charged with DUI for the second time and have to go through court and jail and probation. Both Nicole and Paris. Show what their empty retarded lives are like when they are not posing for the cameras. i bet its pretty freaking sad.
