Justin Bieber resisted arrest, cussed out the cops, didn’t know why he was stopped

FFN_Bieber_Justin_VEM_MIPIXX_EXC_012214_51312055

As we discussed earlier this morning, Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami in the wee hours today, Thursday. He was arrested for DUI and drag racing, and just wait… because this story is getting crazier/sadder by the minute. TMZ (of course) got their hands on the arrest report, and the details will make you grateful that you don’t live in Miami. First of all, he was drag racing under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He had a “model” in the car, which was a yellow Lambo. And he was drag racing with one of his friends, Khalil, who was driving a red Ferrari. Apparently, Justin’s entourage SHUT DOWN THE ROAD so that Justin and Khalil could drag race.

According to the police report — obtained by TMZ — cops approached Bieber’s car and they instantly realized he reeked of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. He had a “stupor” look on his face.

The police report says … Bieber was defiant from the get-go, yelling at the cops, “Why the f**k are you doing this?” He also yelled, “What the f**k did I do. Why did you stop me?”

When the officer tried to perform a routine pat down, Bieber said, “I ain’t got no f**king weapons, why do you have to search me? What the f**k is this about?” Bieber claimed he wasn’t drunk and coming back from recording music. That’s not true, because we knew he was at a club.

Now the basis for the resisting arrest charge — Before the pat down, as Bieber got out of the car, he “kept going into his pants pocket.” The cop ordered him to put his hands on the vehicle, and Bieber initially complied but soon took his hands off the car, turned and then cussed out the cop. The cop then grabbed Justin by the right arm, Justin pulled his arm away, and said, “What the f**k are you doing?”

The report says Justin was driving between 55 and 60 MPH in a 30 MPH residential area.

We’re told Bieber had just left SET nightclub and was driving a yellow Lamborghini at the time cops spotted him in a residential neighborhood. Our sources say Justin’s people actually blocked the street off so Bieber could drag race. Sources say the person Justin was racing was also arrested. We’re told that driver was Khalil, a well-known rapper on Def Jam Records. He was in a red Ferrari.

Justin had a passenger in the car — Chantel Jeffries — a model, who’s dated multiple celebs including an NFL superstar. The traffic stop was for drag racing and cops determined he was driving under the influence.

[From TMZ]

Of course he acted like a douchey baby when he was arrested. His arrest smack-talk sounds worse than Reese Witherspoon’s – mostly because Bieber was the one behind the wheel. “What the f**k did I do. Why did you stop me?” Of course. “I ain’t got no f**king weapons, why do you have to search me?” SO HARD, Lil’ Maple Leaf. Our baby Bieb is so hard, yo. But I read this as just an epic rant from a little boy who’s never been told “no” even once in his life.

I’m including a few photos of Chantal from her Instagram. Justin also had a few photos of Chantal on his Instagram, but they were “mysteriously” deleted at some point today.

Oh, this little douchebag will finally be held accountable for his douchiness? I doubt it but one can hope!

    • V4Real says:

I think he’s the male version of Lindsay Lohan; nothing will happen to him.

      • bettyrose says:

Except he’s burning out younger and faster than LiLo, which is saying a lot.

      • blue marie says:

just consider him the Teflon Diaper

      • Babalon says:

He’s not a US citizen, though. So, here’s hoping.

      • Bread and Circuses says:

I don’t know. Part of the reason Lohan keeps skating is she mostly gets in trouble in California, and California is too broke to adequately prosecute its offenders.

Florida has a reputation for being more hard-core. Let’s hope BeiBei is about to get pasted.

      • Emily C. says:

Florida is totally broke too. And Miami is pretty well-known for letting rich people get away with whatever they feel like. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Best-case scenario is that a young prosecutor tries to make a name for themselves, but I doubt anything serious will happen. Still, at least this baby douche can’t hurt anyone for the moment.

      • Shannon1972 says:

Yep. Just heard on the radio that bail was a whopping $2500.00. He probably keeps that as pocket candy money.

      • jjva says:

        @blue marie — awesome.

      • BettyBlue says:

@blue marie – Teflon diaper it is!

    • Janet says:

His mugshot was just released, the little tool is smiling, I mean big look at me, I’m proud smile.

    • Tiffany :) says:

Stories like this bring both delight and sadness, a double edged sword.

One one hand, I am like, YAY!! CONSEQUENCES, finally! Thoughts of his 5’9″ self in jail with no bodyguards or handlers there to protect him from his actions makes me feel like a wee bit of justice might have been done. Maybe he will get the idea that he can’t be a total ass 24/7? That he isn’t above the law? Some of this might be schadenfreude, but I think most of it is my attraction to the idea of JUSTICE, that people will be held accountable if they commit crimes (repeatedly).

Then the other side comes to mind…the fact that a DUI’s cost of $10k won’t hurt him at all, nor losing his license, etc. He won’t really suffer at all. He was probably put in special cells in the jail so that he didn’t have to encounter any other criminals. He is a jerk, but he is a very rich jerk and even non-fans in society will continue to enable him as long as his bank account is still full.

      • Meaghan says:

Its days like these that remind me why I love celebrity gossip so much. This is what its all about! There is so much delightful horribleness he did I am bathing in wonder and happiness right now.

Apparently he bawled his face off when he went in front of the judge. I hope there is video. Another story said he had weed, liquor and prescription drugs show up on his test. They asked who he got the RX from and he said HIS MOTHER. HE RATTED OUT HIS MOM!!!!

It’s been a while since we have witnessed this level of celebrity rockbottom. Britney, Lohan, Amanda Bynes (short lived because she got help so good for her)…. if they deport him back to Canada I will laugh, because though I am Canadian everyone here hates him so it would be hilarious.

    • MsMirna says:

Finally! At least they have the balls that CA law enforcement doesn’t.

    • the original bellaluna says:

Our only hope is that this happened in FL and not LA!

    • Jenni says:

It’s sad that he has no one to teach him any values or morals. His mother tried to do that when he was younger but somehow got away from that. Now, he has what he has been wanting and that is to become a thug to show off to his black brothers.

    • Kate says:

Cussing out the cops…if Tyrone Jenkins in the hood did something like that; he would have been beating up and also charged with resisting arrested. SMH

  2. twoblues says:

    Dangerous Doofus.

  3. JudyK says:

Baby Thug. He’s repulsive looking to me and would be, even if I were a teeny bopper.

Put him away already…should have happened long ago. He’s nothing but a juvenille criminal.

  4. Nemesis says:

Bwahaha! I CANT WAIT FOR THE DASHBOARD VIDEO TO BE RELEASED! I’m laughing so hard right now! Those cops should have given him an epic beat down for pulling away and reaching in his pocket! They could have totally justified it.

    • jaye says:

I would have sent them one of those Edible Arrangements.

    • Tulip Garden says:

Yes, it would have been so well-deserved but no because I don’t want anything to draw attention away from how the Beibs has orchestrated his own destruction. I mean can you imagine how much he/his team would have tried to draw sympathy from a mugshot with a beaten and bruised Beiber? Instead we have the glorious idiocy of his smile ’cause obviously he thinks he’s at a photoshoot!

@Jaye, you could still send the officers at Edible Arrangement for their fortitude in actually doing their jobs and NOT using anything as an excuse to punch this guy!

      • jaye says:

You’re right, Tulip. Based on the behavior I’ve seen from cops in my city, those officers deserve an Edible Arrangement every month for the rest of the year.

    • Madriani's Girl says:

Apparently he was sobbing uncontrollably in his cell.

  5. Aims says:

I would expect nothing less from him.

  6. bowers says:

He was loaded and he’s gotten off and he has no discipline and I wish he’d return to Canada before he harms someone else. His toadies are not helping him.

    • Erinn says:

Hey now. Can’t we ship him to a deserted island before he hurts someone else? We don’t need this shit up here either 🙂

    • Jaded says:

Canada doesn’t want him – I think I’ll start a petition to have him banned forever from our home and native land.

      • rylan says:

Here’s an example of our fantastic Canadian law. My son was killed a year and a half ago by an underage drunk driver & the little douchebag was speeding. The little piece of shit named Karl was going 140km through the mountains, refused a breathalyzer ( after blood work he was driving 5 times over the blood alcohol limit) & resisted arrest. After all the Canadian Law bullshit was done, he recieved 8 months in jail & lost his license for 5 f$%*&g years. Beiber would get a slap on the wrist too.

      • Decloo says:

@rylan: What a horrible thing. My deepest sympathies. THat is so outrageous that it makes me feel physically sick. Bieber and all like him must be stopped before more of this sh*t happens.

      • Little M says:

@rylan I am so, so sorry for your loss.

      • Maggie says:

rylan, OMG I am so sorry to hear that. I have sons and cannot imagine losing them like that and not feel rage.

      • blue marie says:

I’m sorry for your loss rylan, that is simply horrible.

      • anon says:

        Good idea

      • Tulip Garden says:

        @Rylan,
I, too, am sorry for your loss and your son’s loss. You have truly reminded everyone why Beiber is so dangerous and why this isn’t just “entertainment” news, it is dangerous criminal behavior.

      • Tiffany :) says:

rylan, I am so sorry for what you and your family have gone through.

Thank you for sharing your story, as it is always good for us to remember that a DUI isnt just a stupid move, it can have the most profound and devistating consequences imaginable. It is a very serious crime.

      • Violet says:

        @rylan

I’m so sorry for your loss. And for the lack of consequences for the guilty party.

It makes me crazy that Bieber isn’t taking any of this seriously. I don’t give a sh*t how irresponsible he is with his own life, but jeopardizing others with his idiot ways is another matter. I hope they throw the book at him, but I fear he’ll get off with nothing but a slap in the wrist.

      • Jaded says:

@rylan – I’m so very sorry and saddened by your tragic loss and the slap on the wrist that monster got for taking someone’s life for no reason other than he was too stupid to consider the consequences of driving drunk. Bieber’s had far too many slaps on the wrist and I hope he gets the full force of the law on his a$$ for this.

      • Lady D says:

Oh rylan. So sorry for your loss.

      • jaye says:

Rylan, I am so, so sorry for your loss.

      • BestJess says:

@rylan so sorry for such a truly terrible loss. Culpable driving doesn’t get more culpable than that, it’s insane that the driver got such a light sentence.

    • idk says:

Heyyyyy don’t you care about Canadian lives as well?

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@rylan, I’m so sorry for your loss, and that sentence was a gross miscarriage of justice. Be well.

      • here's Wilson says:

@rylan….I can’t imagine your pain..so sorry for your loss and I hope you find peace

  7. Nina says:

This is what happens when tweens and teens are turned into billion-dollar stars and paying the bills for their parents and families. They’re still CHILDREN, and are being enabled by everyone around them (relatives, entourages), because who’s going to tell their employer, “No, you can’t do that.”? They become entitled, douchey little brats.

    • bettyrose says:

But parents/managers never learn. Put the money in a trust and make the kid live a somewhat normal life. Too late for Biebs but there are many more just waiting to take his place.

    • Naomi says:

I so agree. The more I read about him & tweeter celebrities he sadder I become. There are posters everywhere who refer to their antics as typical teen behavior. These are not typical teens. Typical teens do not have access to multi millions, employees & hangers on who are dependent on the tweeners money making to live a luxurious lifestyle & access & to make money. Typical teenagers actual have repercussions to their negative behaviors in society. Bieber has people who handle any repercussions to his actions because it is in THEIR best interests that he remain unscathed. Bieber may or may not need drug rehab but he DEFINATELY needs a humanity rehab where he learns that he is a part of society and not someone above the rest of the world. He needs to understand that boundaries do exist. I believe he has little belief or confidence in himself precisely because of the success he has achieved. I believe he is proud of his arrest because he believes it gives him street cred whatever he believes that means.

Nothing will change unless Justin Bieber decides to do so and that would require an incentive & that is not going to happen. He is unwilling to change the environment around him & his handlers seem to hold no influence over him at this point. He is taking everybody on his ride and unless something drastic happens that cannot stay out of the press or affects his ability to make money nothing will change.

      • enya. says:

“Bieber may or may not need drug rehab but he DEFINATELY needs a humanity rehab where he learns that he is a part of society and not someone above the rest of the world.”

        I think you nailed it.

    • Tiffany :) says:

His dad was with him, and according to TMZ, was one of the people that blocked off the street so that he could drag race while stoned, drunk, and on prescription drugs (that he also did in front of his dad, according to TMZ).

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@naomi, I think you’re spot on at this being an attempt for him to acquire some “street cred.” I hope that the judge orders him to rehab, and I bet he would take that over 30 days in jail. No matter how much he tries to convince us he is “hard,” he is clearly not (and would probably react much like Paris Hilton did to jail).

      • Dreamyk says:

WTH? His Dad is his drinking n draggin’ buddy and his Mom is supplying him with Xanax.

Honestly, I feel sorry for him now. I’m thankful he didn’t hurt anyone but holy sh*t what a messed up family that is.

      • jaye says:

The fact that his parents are enabling him in that way…I…I just CAN’T! As a responsible parent, this pisses me off. This kid has no one telling him no, and no one making him accountable for his actions. Sickening!

  8. Sue says:

I love it. He deserves this bad!

  9. Kimble says:

    A younger Kim Kardashian!!!
He’ll never get to court …

  10. Migdalia says:

In this article the biggest idiot stood out to me as Chantal…why would you get in a car that’s about to drag race when the driver is drunk and allegedly high. Wow.

    • umyeah says:

That”model” got into the car because she is chasing fame and wants to ride around in a rented Lamborghini with a celebrity. She doesn’t care if she gets hurt. She is thinking she is amazing, for getting to be his newest “guuurl.”

    • doofus says:

I like how they say she’s “dated” a bunch of celebs including an NFL star.

methinks the truth is that she’s engaged in “the oldest profession”.

and those pics of her make her look like she’s actually a man.

      • snickers says:

YES ! i was thinking ‘oldest profession’ also !

      • Just Me says:

I’m game for commenting on shitty personalities. Let’s not rip on this girl’s looks. If someone is worthy of being ripped to shreds, there’s plenty of material on the inside to take care of that.

    • Monksolo says:

      because she’s a prostitute, not a model.

  11. jaye says:

What happened to police brutality? I’ve seen guys get their asses whooped by cops for less. I’m not saying police brutality is right…in 99% of cases, it’s dead wrong. But I would turn a blind eye if a cop wanted to rough this little punk up. If anyone deserves a cauliflower ear it’s this little b*tch.

On a completely superficial note, that girl has some really big eyebrows.

  12. Kiddo says:

Why does everyone look like the Kardashian-bot these days? Do people receive a menu of plastic surgery, and then they all select the number 5 on special?

Was he charged with resisting arrest? I thought it was a DUI and drag-racing charge at first.

    • Badirene says:

I think in the bottom photo she looks like a random Kardashian blended with Leona Lewis. And I am staying well away from the surgery menu they are ordering off of.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Right! I thought the same thing! She looks like a Kardashian wannabe! #5 special!

  13. mia girl says:

What amazes me is how predictable this all is.

    • FLORC says:

And for that we should all be thankful. His actions being so predictable will soon lead to the downfall. The money will dry up and the friends will vanish. Maybe he’ll become more humble when the only work he can get is on a future reality show of washed up former celebs.

    • Tiffany :) says:

      Seriously. So. Completely. Predictable!

    • Amber says:

If you’ve ever watched a few episodes of Behind the Music you REALLY know how predictable all this is. Bieber is like halfway between Leif Garrett and an E! True Hollywood special about Lohan.

    • Just Me says:

      Yep.

  14. neelyo says:

Who are these celebrities Miss Chantal has dated? Eddie Murphy? She looks like a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

    • magpie says:

OK, so I googled it, she dated “Justin Combs, son of P Diddy Sean Combs and Desean Jackson of the Phildelphia Eagles.”
Girl is probably really pleased with the puplicity here.

      • Just Me says:

WTF is wrong with these girls and their claim to fame being who they dated?! JFC what is wrong with these young ladies?!

  15. judyjudy says:

    Lil Maple Leaf! Ha!

  16. Kolby says:

She looks like a twelve-year old who’s been playing in her mommy’s closet. And he looks like a twelve-year old who’s…..nope, he just looks twelve.

  17. Tippy says:

The Biebs is gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Probably won’t have to do time but he will have a judge who takes a close personal interest in seeing that Justin gets his chit together.

He’ll likely have a probation officer breathing down his neck, ICE & MADD will be all up in his face and TMZ will be nipping at his ankles.

Hopefully this is a blessing in disguise for Justin Bieber.

  18. Nicolette says:

This feels like something that’s careening towards something very bad. I really think he’s going to wind up (God forbid) killing someone. He has no regard for the law, he has already come close to mowing someone down, and has a completely reckless attitude. Someone needs to rein his ass in and fast.

  19. Tracy says:

So this little punk has enough money to have a driver 24/7 and he still not only drives drunk but also blocks off a road and drag races??? What a piece of shit.

    • doofus says:

yup, he’s rich enough that he could rent out an entire drag racing track for him and his “entourage” to play, but it’s the thrill he’s after. he’s been able to do whatever he wants for so long with no repercussions that doing it “legally” holds no thrill.

gotta do it on the street to get his rocks off.

  20. kimbers says:

    Poor girl..total social stepper tripped.

  21. snark says:

The mugshot is out. He is smiling like he’s at a damn meet-and-greet. Caption: “You want me to wear this orange jumpsuit for the pic? Sure, sure, anything for a fan.”

    • Kim1 says:

Doesn’t he know real thugs don’t smile in mug shots.
I wish he could spend just one night in jail

    • aquarius64 says:

A lot of celebs smile on their mug shots as a stupid act of defiance, thinking this will earn them cool points with the fans. Newsflash, Beebs: your fans do not earn paychecks; they earn ALLOWANCES. This latest mess-up may motivate their parents NOT to buy your concert tickets, movie tickets, CDs, fragrances, and everything else that has his mug(shot) on it. Sidenote: when this idiot goes before the judge and it goes to trial, most of his fans are not old enough to be impaneled on a jury, and those who are may be completely done with him.

    • shellybean says:

His eyes look pretty glassy in the way eyes start to look after a few too many drinks.

      • Tippy says:

His blood alcohol level was below .08 but already admitted to drinking, smoking weed and taking prescription medications prior to driving.

      • Jayna says:

He blew a .04. If he was over 21 that would be considered fine and not drunk. .08 is what you get arrested for DUI for. He was underage. There’s no way his eyes are glassy from drinking from that little. Maybe from something else, not alcohol off of a .04

    • L says:

He looks like Miley sans makeup. It’s bizarre.

  22. sarah says:

I hope he changes his name to Lil’ Maple Leaf. I love that so much.

    • Lady D says:

He just keeps right on being a bigger and bigger embarrassment to Canada. I bet he’d still be big in Mexico. Can’t he go there?

  23. magpie says:

Holy cr*p! TMZ says his Dad was with him and helped them shut down the street!

  24. TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

Yes, I heard they raided his crib and found little or no evidence of talent. May the descent begin; he’s richly deserved it, and he’s not a kid, he’s an adult.

  25. Willa says:

That “model” looks like she has those wax lips you can get at the dollar store for kids in her mouth! Seriously, in both pictures. Uugh.

  26. Lucy2 says:

Under age DUI, drag racing, and resisting arrest. Lovely. Thank goodness no one was killed. I just wish the cops had tasered him.
This idiot has had one of the fastest downward spirals in history.

    • idk says:

He had the fastest rise and the fastest fall. I can’t stand idiots that drink and drive. They always end up hurting/killing innocent people on the road. I think the club he was at will be fined for allowing him into their establishment and letting him drink. I wonder what all the little teen beliebers have to say now? They were so adamant that Justin was innocent…now what do they have to say?

  27. Belle Epoch says:

Last time wasn’t he caught driving without a license?

  28. Jh says:

He looks like such a mega-tool walking around with that entourage. How can he even front with his yes-men and babysitters surrounding him like that?!? You so hard, JB.

  29. Duchess of Corolla says:

Please send him back to Canada. On second thought, I wouldn’t wish that on Canada. Launch him in a rocket to the Sun.

  30. Zwella Ingrid says:

Does this mean he has street cred now? LOL

    • TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

If he wants real cred then why doesn’t he join the eme’s (Mexican mafia), the latin kings or marasalvatrucha 13 – because he and his “posse” would last about 10 minutes. Sadly, this is one of the bad effects of some aspects of hip hop/rap; all the douches acting all hood, yet none of them would last long in a real hood, or in the Cali prison system, let alone Mexico’s.

      • MavenTheFirst says:

He needs to go through one of those “Scared Straight” experiences in prison. He’d be crying by the end. Nor would he romanticise ‘street cred’ any longer. During that time, I would run a video or the photos of Baby Bieber being lifted out of the SUV and he could see their reaction.

  31. shellybean says:

    He is an idiot!

Drunk driving is bad. Very bad.

BUT… who drives drunk and speeds in a BRIGHT YELLOW LAMBO?! That car alone is a police magnet, and then add in the speeding and erratic driving.

  32. aquarius64 says:

    From MSNBC:

Bieber is scheduled to be arraigned (go before the judge) today between 1:00 and 1:30 pm EST. In FL only his lawyer needs to appear, but for PR purposes the twerp needs to show up as well.

TMZ has a picture of Bieber doing the Walk of Shame to the police station – handcuffed, hunched over, and a hood completely over his head to hide his face.

    http://www.tmz.com/2014/01/23/justin-bieber-arrested-dui-drunk-driving-miami-beach-drag-racing

So much for being “swaggy”. Even Li’l Za got in the back of the squad car with some dignity.

  33. hahahah says:

When you see the mugshot, you just wanna take your belt of, i shure do..And its NOT for what ya think. (whip em, old day style…he will never ever do it again….WHERE HIS PARENTS AT, out SPENDING? 2 busy to look after your boy?

  34. hahahah says:

What WORRIES me the most is that, HIS DAD was with him, seen left .His hand that is..WT FREAKING H*LL?

  35. Michelle says:

First we had LiLo. Her fucking-up star is fading. So now we get JuBi.

    *Cackles gleefully*

    • OhMyMy says:

Until he manages to get two arrest warrants issued from both the East coast and the West coast on the same day I think her record is safe.

He’s getting close though, gotta give him ‘A’ for effort.

      • Michelle says:

        Good one!

LiLo’s had some years practice before that happened, though. I have faith in his stupidity and hubris.

        *folds hands together Mr. Burns-like*

  36. Diana says:

He should be deported back to Canada.
He obviously has no respect for anything or anybody her in the USA.
We have brave Men & Women giving their lives for our safety and this 19 Year Old puts everybody in danger.
Hopefully he can go back where he came from and attempt to be raised as a 19 Year Old in Canada.

  37. Barbara says:

One of his group was his dad Jeremy….that is so sad

  38. Reece says:

    D.E.P.O.R.T.A.T.I.O.N.

As for the “model”, I ain’t saying she a gold digger….Yes I am.

  39. phaksi says:

His parents are enablers. He was always going to be a brat

  40. CeltLady says:

I am surprised that he didn’t want his bodyguards to carry his sorry ass to the police car, like he made them carry him up the Great Wall of China.

    Pathetic man/child.

You know, I respect anyone’s right to dislike Justin. I can’t stand him myself. But to call him “lil maple leaf” and bring his nationality into it? That just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s not as if his Canadian heritage has ANY bearing or influence on the douchebag he’s being now – which, by the way, is due to the douchiness and narcissism that is bred into AMERICAN celebrity culture. That isn’t from us here in Canada, whether he is from here or not.

If you’re trying to offend your Canadian readers in as few words as possible, congrats, you’ve succeeded.

    • Tiffany :) says:

You are taking the comments waaaaaaay too seriously. They just like insulting Justin, so they use any aspect of his persona to use as a joke. No one is sincerely blaming Canada.

      • Michelle says:

What Tiffany said. Everyone knows Canada is awesome. JB on the other hand…

      • iheartjacksparrow says:

Cue the song from the South Park movie, Blame Canada. (Which actually has nothing to do with Canada if you’ve listened carefully to the words.)

    • bluesmurfette says:

They do this sort of thing all the time to Californians, and we’re in a huge state. Yes, it’s offensive. Periodically, I get fed up and stop reading the site for a few months. Then I come back and repeat the cycle.

    • jackrabbit says:

Normally I just read the comments for entertainment, however, today I felt compelled to respond because as a Canadian I don’t find anything upsetting with the references to Canada….especially “Lil Maple Leaf” (I find that brilliant and I hope it sticks, I just wish I had thought of it)…….maybe we deserve it/him since we do like to pat ourselves on the back….well, gloat…….that we’re so polite, educated, witty, well liked on the global scene especially when we compare ourselves to our Southern neighbours – maybe he’s the reminder that we should jump off our high horse, eh?

    • msw says:

Its meant to be patronizing to Bieber, not Canada. The idea , i think, is Canadians are generally more chill and less douchey than many Americans, especially spoiled Hollywood bratsm and its meang to be ironic he’s forgetting how to be a laid back Canadian (kind of an Amerucan stereotype of Canadians) with all this angry douchebaggery behavior. The “lil” is just hilarious as Bieber seems to wish he was a more badass and imposing 6’4″ ihstead of his slightly less daunting 5’9″.

    • littlestar says:

It actually annoyed me too. The maple leaf is the symbol on our flag, Bieber is an entitled brat that has nothing to do with our heritage.

      • cr says:

Should we call him Lil’ Maple Sizzurp then, which might not be considered Canadian specific as the leaf?

  42. Canada says:

Yup, we raise little a$$holes up here too. But this one’s on his mother, not the country. According to what I read in the paper this morning his mother is asking that, instead of judging him, we all pray for him. Because, look how well that’s worked out so far. This kid was a selfish jerk long before he was famous, at least according to his pre-fame schoolmates. It’s too bad somebody didn’t teach him about that, instead of how to become a singing, dancing, egomaniacal embarrassment to his entire country.

    • BettyBlue says:

Completely agree! I’m certain part of his detachment from reality lays with his parent installing in him gat crazy idea that his success was bestowed on him by God as though he was some “chosen one” as opposed to a well marketed, moderately talented kid. Way to mess your kid up.

  43. MSat says:

Is the Biebs even 21 yet? How did he get served at a club? How did his handlers let this happen?

    • MsMirna says:

TMZ says his father was actually with him at the club. I guess there’s no need to guess who got him the liquor.

      • msw says:

Huh. That may take some liability off the club. In some states, it is legal for your parents (or an over 21 spouse) to purchase alcohol for your consumption if you’re under 21. But even if it is legal, a lot of establishments wont do it. Not sure of the law in FL. I bet they will get hassled about this incident regardless, due to a minor getting a DUI and breaking other laws.

  44. Emily C. says:

Florida gets a lot of things wrong. Well, most everything. But finally, we have something to be proud of. We were the ones to finally arrest this little jackass. I hope he’s stuck in that Miami jail for a good long time.

  45. mytbean says:

What if he and Lindsey Lohan connect and then procreate? That’ll be the time to whip out the magic marker and poster board for the “End is Nigh” signs…

  46. Ok says:

The police report said that these two high powered super expensive sports cars WERE DOING 55 or 60 MPH ??

Sigh. Can’t this kid do anything right ?

  47. Leila in wunderland says:

If Selena wasn’t done with him before, she’ll have to be done with him now. Being with him will bring her image down.

I don’t like Justin Bieber and he’s fun to make fun of, but I hope his story doesn’t end in something horrible.

  48. SFRowGuy says:

Justin proves yet again that you can Rich, Famous and a Stupid Shit all at the same time.

  49. dcypher1 says:

With the way he burns through his money and wastes it if the law dosent get him l think he’s going to go broke and all his handlers will probably drop him especialy if there is no money to make off him and there will go his career and cash. I think that’s what going to happen in time soon.

  50. msw says:

Anyone remember the good old days when Bieber’s biggest controversy was a statement likening abortion to killing a baby? And the obviously fabricated Bieber baby? I miss those days.

I am beginning to suspect ‘Roid Rage.

  51. cynicalsmirk says:

Well, that took longer than expected. The rise and fall is becoming quite ho-hum.

  52. Elizabitch says:

The only surprise to this story is that he blew .04. So he had a beer.

  53. Cris says:

If he had been a 19 year old black man, the moment he yanked his arm away from the cop he would have been slammed to the pavement, pummeled by multiple officers, cuffed and thrown in the back of a patrol car. If he wasn’t immediately shot.

    • Leila in wunderland says:

      Sadly, you’re probably right.

    • jwoolman says:

Cris- at first when I read your comment , I thought (after all the Canada references), “Gee, I didn’t think Canadian cops would do that,”- and then I remembered he was in Florida. Never mind.

  54. Norman says:

Bonnie Fuller and all the trolls at HollywoodLife must be having a lousy day today. Treat Justin like any other “kid” who does what he does. This guy has a “record” of criminal behavior longer than a 78 rpm LP. I understand the pressures that he is facing as a young celebrity, but he should be as accountable as his transgressions as you or I would be for ours in the spectrum of the law.

  55. pam says:

As a Canadian, I beg the US – don’t deport him. We don’t want the litte sh*t back – we’ve got enough to deal with Mayor Ford.

    • jjva says:

They should party. Don’t you think they should party? They should party.

    • BettyBlue says:

At this point, I’d be grateful if those loony Cameron siblings took him under their wings and put the fear of God back into his evangelical soul.

  56. lady mary. says:

    k.

  57. Jessica says:

When you say Chantal – did you mistype and mean Charles?

  58. Ag-UK says:

So tired of him. I wish he would just go away FOREVER.

  59. Sam H x says:

Wonder what new excuse Scooter Braun will come up with? Or Bieber? Probably will get the violins out and say they’re out to get me, im a good person blah blah.

@Rylan – That’s so awful. I’m terribly sorry for your loss and how very little justice was served by the courts.

He could have killed/hurt someone whilst high as a kite, irresponsible, careless fool. His dad is an even bigger idiot. Bieber lives in a bubble, had been in the real world, it would be a shock to his system and probably wouldn’t cope without his bodyguards and ‘crew’.

  60. SnarkGirl says:

Hear that Beibs? That is the sound of the last remaining seconds of your 15 minutes ticking away…

  61. lisa says:

    where. are. his. parents.

    • Tiffany :) says:

HIs dad was in the club with him while he was drinking, was there when he was smoking green, and blocked off the street so he could drag race. HIs mom supplied him with the prescription drugs he was on, per TMZ.

    • magpie says:

Well his Dad was there and his Mom gave him the drugs!

  62. magpie says:

Dang! This story just keeps getting better. TMZ has a story where Biebs says it was HIS MOM that gave him the drugs. And the club pics…he looks reallly wasted and so does the fameho “model”.

  63. GreenTurtle says:

He was drag racing in a residential neighborhood? Can this little fuckwit take his stupid and destructive behavior away from where other people and their families live?

  64. JFS61 says:

Canada needs to keep its angry lesbians to itself.

  65. AnneSB says:

Justin Bieber pisses me off. That is all

  66. littlestar says:

Sad that his dad was with him when this all happened. No wonder Bieber is the way he is with enabling parents like that.

  67. Sam H x says:

Was just on the twitter, only to see #wewillalwayssupportyouJustin trending, clicked on it, apparently his fans are saying he was diagnosed with depression 5 months ago. Please don’t insult people who are actually suffering from it. He’s suffering from narcissism-itis and affluenza.

  68. Snowpea says:

    He is a little twerp.

  69. Amy says:

Saturday Night Live is going to have a field day with this.

    http://www.hulu.com/watch/585256

  70. DanaG says:

Sadly I think Justin is going to see this as giving him the “bad boy” rep he is so desperate for. He doesn’t see it’s pathetic and dangerous. If he wants to hurt himself fine but driving let alone drag racing while drunk and on drugs is just beyond stupid. I hope he get’s the book thrown at him and he will be flat broke in no time then he won’t be able to pin any of this stuff on “His crew”. His parents are just as bad as him maybe they should hook up with Lindsay’s parents? It’s going to take more then this to get this idiot to take any responsibility for anything he does. And you can’t use the he is just being 19 excuse they would be busted too if they pulled this stunt.

    • Sarah says:

Quite honestly, I don’t think he actually thinks that far. He more likely wants to recreate his very own Fast and Furios – Bieb edition, so to speak. I WISH he would have some certain master plan in his mind, but he is just a poor kid with the worst kind of enablers around him that completely lost perspective and thinks his genius is reason enough to do whatever.

  71. d says:

I was going to write a comment that I think his entourage is 95% just as bad – if they just close down a street and tell Justin he can drive like that, then of course he thinks he can do whatever he wants and of course he can drive like that; they shut down the street for him! They always set things up for him, tell him some dumba** story and he, thinking he’s surrounded by good people AND because he’s had so little proper parenting he’s an easy mark for their sycophancy, just goes ahead and does his dumba** things. So the people around him indulge him far too much and no doubt purely for their own selfish reason…the gravy train is full of money. But reading that his dad was there too? And his mother supplies him with the meds? Yeah, the little douche apple didn’t fall far from the douche tree, did it? I mean, sure he needs to learn personal accountability and responsibility and whatnot. But from who? When? Where? He’s a little douche surrounded by a sea of douches. So, I think this will be the male version of the Lindsey Lohan/Dana Plato downward spiral…we’ll see this kind of thing over and over, he’ll never do hard time, and nothing will ever change until he finally dies young. His brain – still developing – has had several years for all this bad behaviour to become hard-wired. He’ll be fighting an uphill battle to live a healthy normal life.

    • Sarah says:

      Couldn’t agree more!!!
Can sb pls hold the entourage and all Bieb’s enablers INCLUDING his frakking parents(!!) responsible as well?? It is absolutely ridiculous what was going on and even though I couldn’t agree more with everyone on locking Lil Bieb away, I am also for putting the whole entourage down as well because they actually made ALL of this possible: getting the drugs, getting the alcohol, getting the car, getting INTO the car, closing down the road, together with some peculiar blonde. Nobody talks about those enablers. I am sure that would have helped to prevent that little sucker from doing (not just only this) douchy crap in the first place. BTW… I dislike this guy as much everyone else around. I couldn’t be more far away from being Team Bieber. He is (became) an a**hole. Period.

  72. Madpoe says:

Baby thug wasn’t using a booster seat?

  73. Ellis Alter says:

Poor baby, but not to worry. If he drives drunk and actually kills someone next time, he will definitely be able to use the “Affluenza” defense to get off scott free, which he is clearly suffering from. The symptoms include total lack of integrity, and accountability, so he has that going for him?

  74. aquarius64 says:

The next time Bieber does this and God forbid takes a life, it’s a wrap for his career.

  75. MB says:

Long time lurker, first time poster. I live a few blocks away from where Bieber was pulled over. He should be thankful he was stopped at that point. Any further could have been catastrophic.

Pine Tree Drive is a major north-south artery. It’s two lanes going north, two lanes south, with houses on either side. In the middle is a wide median–maybe 20 to 25 foot wide–with Australian pine trees down the middle. These trees are tall with big trunks. Had Bieber made the slightest error with his steering, he could have run off to the right into someone’s home or careened left into the trees. Trust me, both the home and the trees would have won the battle. It would have been Paul Walker all over again.

Miami Beach Police nailed him as he ran north toward 41st Street. He pulled a right onto the 41st Street Bridge and stopped. At 41st Street, Pine Tree doubles its lanes. 41st Street itself is a heavily traveled cross-road in a business district. It’s busy 24/7. Look at the videos: even at 4am, there was lots of traffic and people on the sidewalks. Had Bieber, wasted and speeding, not had the ability to stop, he probably would have crashed into multiple cars and pedestrians.

What really galls me is that Pine Tree Drive runs through a residential area, chockfull of families. In the daytime, it’s kids walking dogs and nannies with strollers. In all the years I’ve lived here, I’ve never EVER heard of somebody blocking traffic on Pine Tree, cutting off side streets, to go drag strip racing! It’s inconceivable. If he wanted to drag race, illegal though it is, he could have driven to the Everglades and raced until his tires were shot. Nobody would have been the wiser because nobody’s there.

Thankfully he was pulled over before he could hurt someone. But Bieber came thisclose to killing himself, his passenger, and/or other people that night. He dodged several bullets this time.

  76. Katherine says:

The basis of the resisting arrest charge seems lame at best. He does have to worry about immigration issues. It’s a lot more complicated now and ICE policies change all the time.

  77. Joe says:

What a country you have. Some outsider born somewhere else comes into the U.S. and becomes rich and famous overnight and makes millions of dollars. On the other hand, there are millions of U.S. born Americans who are struggling just to make a poor living. Something is obviously wrong.
