Sandra Bullock and her husband of nearly two years, Jesse James, are fighting for partial custody of James’ third child, three year old Sunny. James left Sunny’s mom, his second wife porn star Janine Lindemulder, while she was seven months pregnant. Lindemulder claims that until this January James only saw his daughter on the day she was born for half an hour.
James has filed court papers claiming that he suspects his ex of abusing toddler Sunny, and says the girl has suspicious bruises and seems to be troubled. If his ex-wife grants him 50 percent custody, he’s willing to drop the abuse charges:
[Sandra Bullock] is rallying behind hubby Jesse James in his fight to win custody of his 3-year-old daughter Sunny from his ex-wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder, say sources.
But Janine is not giving up easily - and insiders say she blames the 42-year-old “Miss Congeniality” beauty for pushing Jesse to snatch Sunny away from her.
Jesse, host of TV’s “Monster Garage,” filed an emergency child custody order against Janine on March 15. He asked the court to award him temporary custody of Sunny pending a child welfare investigation.
In court documents, 37-year-old Jesse claimed that Sunny was scratched and bruised when she visited him and Sandra recently - and the child blamed “mommy’s chair” for her injuries.
“Sunny had small scratches and what appeared to be broken blood vessels and a bruise on her left cheek and a few bruises around her left and right eye,” Jesse said in papers filed in California’s Orange County Superior Court.
“When my wife gently asked her if it hurt she said: ‘Yes, but the bleeding stopped.’ She just said ‘mommy’s chair’ when we asked how it happened.”
The papers also state Janine “was to pick her up on Saturday afternoon when she arrived (an hour late), Sunny screamed and cried she didn’t want to go.
“My wife and I let Sunny stay with us in bed Saturday night. We didn’t think she should be alone. During the night she was very restless and seemed to be angry and crying off and on, but clearly cried out: ‘don’t touch me’ and ‘don’t do that.’”

It could be true that he suspects his wife of hurting the girl, but you never know with toddlers. They get into a lot of scrapes and often cry when they have to leave a place they’re comfortable with, even if they’ve only been there an hour. The article goes on to quote a source that says that Janine is a good mother and that it’s not fair to judge her because she’s earned a living in the adult film business.
Janine is said to think that Bullock is behind James’ custody and abuse claims, and the source says she doesn’t have an issue with Sandra, but believes that it was her idea to get Jesse more involved in his youngest child’s life.
Bullock’s recent statements about being a step-mother to James’ three children seem to support that. She told People Magazine “I have children, amazing children. My love and my hopes for their future and their happiness, for their homework to be done and for them to know how smart and beautiful they are is no less than if they were my own biological children.” She said she does want a biological child but only if it happens naturally for her. If not, that’s ok too.
James has two other children with his first wife Karla James, Jesse James, Jr., 7, and Chandler James, 9.
Sunny’s mom Janine was the naughty nurse on Blink 182’s album cover for Enema of the State. She’s a well known porn star and adult movie producer and is next appearing in “Janine loves Jenna [Jameson],” which will be released on DVD on April 13th.

I hope he wouldn’t say something like that just as a bargaining device, if he really thought the child was being abused why would he drop it for 50% custody? If I thought my child was being abused by the other parent they wouldn’t be getting their hands on it again.

I have to say that I believe the porn star wife when she says jesse did not spend any time with the three year old. If he really believed there was abuse and neglect, he would demand 100 percent custody, no parent would stand for 50 percent if there was actual abuse going on. Typical of a neglectful parent to throw out the suspicious abuse card to distract from his neglect, no doubt this comes from Sandy pressuring him. I feel bad for the porn star wife. Its not like she led a secret life of porn star. What a lame-o to leave a 7 month pregnant woman. Poor kid. Sandy is tough as nails business woman, she will get her way in my opinion. At any rate we hope the child is loved. Courts and docs usually rule with whomever can show the most money. Doctors are not the end all and be all, and neither are judges. Always best if parties can come to amicable solutions outside the system.

jesse james dumped a woman when she was seven months pregnant? left his second wife porn star for sandra bullock? what a mess. who knows whats going on…on one hand, the little girl with her porn star mom could be subjected to a revolving door of men coming in and out…potentially abusive situations and even drug use by the mom. its also true that kids bonk themselves and do get scrapes and bruises….but that the bruises were on both eyes along with the scrapes does make this suspicious. jesse james rarely sees this little girl…if the first night she went over to visit her daddy and his new hoochie involved them demanding that the girl sleep with them in their bed was probably uncomfortable for her..her father is kind of a stranger to her.
i dont understand sandy…she could have practically any man in the world and she chooses this one…why?. yeah, on his show he seems smart creative and fun…but he has a lot of baggage that he is not attending to.
what is it with women who get off on feeling extra special because a man is willing to dump all of his responsibilities to run off with you. i thought that kind of mindset ended when girls were in about their early 30s. i guess not. wow, dont you feel like such the big catch now.
i predict that they are going to get divorced within two years. -
I kinda agree with Gavin on this one. If they really suspected abuse, they would fight for 100% custody not 50%. In that case, if they are casting aspersions on the mother just to make their case stronger then they suck.
On another level why do women get those full on tattoo’s? Fugly IMO.

When I read this story, I tried hard to concetrate on the child abuse but I could nt stop wondering‘Is having an ex- wife who is a porn start normal in these parts?’

So Sandy took Jesse from his pregnant wife? I had no idea. I don’t care if she’s a porn star or not, he married her and they were having a child. Everyone loves Sandy so she gets no blame whatsoever, nobody even brings it up while Angelina gets called all kinds of names. I find it curious that the alleged deal is for him to get 50% custody in exchange for dropping the charges. Would you do it if you seriously believed your ex abused your child?

This homewrecking thing seems like a leap to me. Because he left his wife at 7 months pregnant does NOT mean that he left her for Bullock. Does anyone actually have the time-line that suggests that? He may have met Bullock well after the baby was born. I don’t know, I’m just not going to crucify her without having the facts.

Maybe someone else in the family should be drafted. It’s never good to put kids on someone who doesn’t want them. -
Just a random clarification…. Janine has sex with other women on film for money, not men. I’m not saying that makes anything any worse or better, just a clarification.

The morale of this story? Take a good look when you engage yourself in a relationship with someone. Do this person will stay after years of relationship or will bolt-out the next time you had an argument?

He did not leave his wife for Sandra Bullock, they met after his marriage had ended. He is not the first. Remember Charlie Sheen and Denise? Men leave pregnant women all the time.

Everbody has a profession, being a adult star/dancer has nothing to do with being a good parent. Janine is one hell of a good mother, and a good role model, not to mention kind hearted woman. Jesse is a piece of doo, he abused Janine when she was pregnate with Sunny and then left her 7 months pregnate. He never cared about Sunny, so why start now. He’s doing this just to “look good” for his no talent wife and the media.

I don’t have any problems with Janine Lindemulder for doing Porn nor do I think it makes her a “bad parent.” But, I do think that anytime a child who’s living between households shows up with random injuries from one parent’s home the other is obligated to make darn sure that everything is on the level with the other parent’s home. Kudos to Jesse and Sandra for looking out for his daughter’s best interests…
