Kelly Osbourne has shaved her head! Sort of. Partially. Kelly has actually been going shorter and shorter for the past few months, and there was some sort of shaggy pixie cut just a few weeks ago. But now she’s gone full Pink/Alecia Moore. And by that I mean… shaved back and sides, and a mohawk/fauxhawk up top. This hairstyle was also done by Miley Cyrus last year, only I have to say… Miley’s fauxhawk was A) really budget and B) a blatant attempt to jack Pink’s style. Kelly’s mohawk differs – I think – because she’s left her hair lavender.
I’m including shots from Kelly’s Instagram and from the Friday event, Race to Erase MS. What are your thoughts? In the makeup-free selfie (which I saw first), I was like, “oooh, bad idea Kelly.” But I like the cut in some of the other snaps, and it looks sort of cute in the red carpet pics. I think she needs to be conscious of needing some volume up top, or else the style just looks sad and blah. But when she teases it up and punks it out, it’s cute. It’s just a lavender version of Pink’s hair though. I wonder how Pink feels about all these wannabes?

When styled properly, I kind of like it. Better than that gray color she was sporting for a while, and the purple looks better in an edgier cut like this. But Pink still is the best.
She doesn’t have an edgy anything else, so it’s not a fit. She has a curvy body and a cherubic face, so I prefer short bangs and milkmaid braids. Mowhawk and this girls other attributes don’t go together.
She looks like Zuul from “Ghostbusters”. And horizontal stripes?! Gurl.
I hate myself for laughing at the Zuul reference. 😀

I think it could be lighter than it is. In some photos, the color looks a little drab. I only like it in the side shots. From the front, it looks like the haircuts for men in the Nazi party.

This may sound wrong, but in the make-up free picture I thought she looked like a kinda cute dude with that hair. Other than that… yeah. I got nothing. It’s not doing much for her.
This is exactly the reason my hairdresser refused to cut my hair like that a while back. I wanted it very, very short and she told me she would rather not do that to me, and that because of my prominent jawline I would have to balance it out with more/heavier make up. And as I like to be flexible with my looks (as in, I like to roll out of bed and not be in desperate need to apply tons of eyliner or lipstick just to make sure my face looks a little structured) I went with a slightly longer cut that I am still very cofortable with….oh and by the way, just 2 days after she talked me out of this hairstyle Miley Cyrus pops out with THE EXACT CUT I WANTED. Just imagine how hard it would have been to convince poeple that I had it first..I would have forever been the Miley-Cyrus-Copycat.

I have never understood her appeal. If not for reading about her family’s reality show a few years back I would still be blissfully unaware of her existence. I have always considered her a wannabee. She always seems so insecure & immature. Maybe if she had a talent or skills but she just appears to ‘mean girl’ people. I know she has been mocked for her weight but she definitely takes her shots both returning and initiating. And again what talent or skills does she have?
I love it from the side, but not liking it from the front. Kelly has a strong jaw, and without something on the side to balance it she looks a bit lunky.

I’m a huge Pink fan, but I would like to kindly point out that she’s not the first woman to sport a mohawk. On to Kelly.. She is one of very few women I find to be painfully unattractive. I kind of feel bad even saying that 😣😕 There aren’t many styles that look great on her, but she actually looks nice here. I would also love to see a new color, but apparently that isn’t happening any time soon.

I like it better than the longer version. I am from a generation who remembers when little old ladies routinely colored their gray/white hair with a blue rinse, which had varied effects. Sometimes it looked it like a silvery gray (which was the intended target color) but most of the time it looked anywhere from light blue to light purple. That is what I think of when I see people like Kelly color their hair purple, old ladies with a bad hair dye job. So if she is going to keep that color, the mohawk cut at least is a little edgier and younger looking.

Pink was not the first one to do it. Wendy O Williams and a million punks would beg to differ. It’s kind of cool that the long, housewife hair is not the only way to look pretty, but Kelly may need the balance of longer hair. That said, she has phenomenal hair- they all do in her family. Thick and straight.
