Here are some photos of Jeremy Renner attending the Veni Vici fashion show in London on Tuesday. I just liked these photos a lot. HBO has been playing The Bourne Legacy a lot, and I always get a little fluttery whenever I see Renner on the screen – it’s not even that he’s super-hot in that movie or anything, it’s just that he’s SO sexy (to me) in general. I won’t even try to explain it. Some people get it, some don’t. All I know is that Renner in this black leather jacket is giving me a fever. Who is that woman beside him? Is that one of the Ecclestone women?
Meanwhile, Renner recently opened up to People Mag about life with his (ex?) girlfriend Sonni Pacheco and their one-year-old daughter Ava Berlin. Sonni apparently still lives in Renner’s guest house with the little girl, and their unconventional relationship seems pretty solid. Renner spends tons of time with his daughter and he describes fatherhood in a really sweet way:
“It’s the best thing I’ve ever done! I like starting my day and ending my day with her. When I don’t, life is quite miserable. I thought I liked what I do for a living, but now I have this little wonderful creature and she kind of squashes all that. She’s messed up my life in the most beautiful way possible. She takes all my love.”

Adorable. See, this is why I find him sexy. I like the way he describes things. I love his hooded bedroom eyes too. And his arms. Sigh… pocket boyfriend.

Not that I place any weight on it, but Blind Gossip did a blind a month or so back saying the baby is not his or Sonni’s, is really his sister’s child and just used by him to quash gay rumors–she’s a baby beard.
I think the kid is his and Pacheco’s, but the result of a carefully mapped out arrangement. That’s fine, if they both really wanted the child for herself and not as a stunt prop kid or as a means to prove heterosexuality. He sounds sincere (emphasis on the “sounds”) and I hope he is.
As for his inherent attractiveness: he’s attractive partly in the way the young Kevin Spacey was attractive – that is, he’s an excellent actor, has a great voice and manner, and is highly charismatic. That’s enough.
But Sonni was visibly pregnant…like with pictures and everything…so unless Sonni is his sister or IVF went down….? Too complicated and I doubt anyone would go to such great lengths. Yikes.

Someone pointed out once that he has really weird fingers – like there’s no skin around his nails, so all his fingers just look like penises. I will never unsee it.

Clubbed fingers. Happens to some people with lung issues. Kids with CF get them a lot. I’m not sure if his are just the natural shape due to genetics, or if he has some health issues.

He isn’t tight fisted, he gave all the money to a dog charity. The woman didn’t nurse the dog back to health, there was nothing wrong with it. Her son found it, took it over a hundred miles away and gave it to her. All credit to the mother for contacting them when several weeks later a member of the family checked to see if anyone was looking for a dog, but would you take a dog without taking a few simple steps to try and find the owner? In fact, isn’t that a legal obligation? This whole story is very suspect, but if they really were hard done by then they could take it to court or I am sure they could talk to a tabloid and get more than the reward money.

I don’t really think the guest house arrangement is as strange as people make it out to be. I knew several sets of amicably divorced parents who lived next door or across the street from each other, and it seemed like their kids enjoyed not having to travel to see one parent or to get something forgotten at the other house. Whatever Jeremy and Sonni are doing certainly sounds like a better situation than the way lots of Hollywood fathers take care of their children.

Honk. I’ve had the hots for him since The Hurt Locker. I kinda fell away from the crush the last couple of years, its not as intense as it once was (as it goes with all crushes), but there’s something about him that does it for me. He’s definitely not conventional but he’s got that certain something.
He could very well be gay, not that it matters. I have to admit the whole situation with his baby mama seems odd (she’s living in the guest house?) but whatever they’re doing it seems to be working. As long as they’re all happy I’m on board. (I’m sure they have all been waiting anxiously for my sign-off on their living situation… 😉 )

I try not to snark on anyone’s looks. The only time I will is if someone has messed with their face/body surgically (NicoleKidmancough), then all bets are off because it was their choice to start screwing around with themselves.
I love to hear when ‘surprise! baby!’ works out. He was my crush until I moved on to Hiddleston. (What’s happening with TH anyway?! Still in LA?, getting his head scar erased? signing up for a movie? changing agents I hope?, what?!) So sexy in that jacket, and knowing he can really ride a motorcycle makes him even hotter. I have ALWAYS loved Renner. I first noticed him in 28 Weeks Later and became a fan. I find him extremely sexy.
I am happy he is in love with being a dad and dotes on his daughter.
I like his unapologetic lifestyle and am thrilled he feels no real need to justify rumors or his relationship with Pacheco. Obviously things are working for him and in the end, that is what matters.

I like this guy. He doesn’t always say the right thing, he is a bit rough around the edges and he is awful at posing on the red carpet, but he seems to be such a big hearted, friendly guy. For me Amy Adams summed it up when she graciously thanked Cooper, Bale, Lawrence and O’Russell for their help after receiving a best actress award for American Hustle, but for Jeremy the comment was ‘I love you so much’. He seems to have that effect on a lot of people who actually know him and for me that trumps any stupid gossip or speculation I might hear.

My brother met him in a bar (brother does security for TV and movies, and after that day’s work everyone went to a bar), and said he was a really cool, friendly guy. Renner bought drinks for everyone and partied with the minions until the wee hours.
