Sandra Bullock was given the honorary “Decade of Hotness” award at the Spike TV Guy’s Choice Awards, filmed on Saturday and airing on Wednesday. Past winners of this bizarre “Decade of Hotness” title include Jennifer Aniston, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry and Cameron Diaz. The VP of Viacom said that they’ve been trying to get Sandra to come out for the award for years. They should have named it “Decades of Hotness” since Speed came out in ’94. (I got that from Huffpo, it’s not like I came up with that idea on my own.) In that case they would need to honor women like Helen Mirren. I suspect that part of the reason Sandra finally agreed to appear was that her ex co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Keanu Reeves AND Hugh Grant all came out to present the award to her. Everyone loves Sandy! Look at how much fun they’re having. Everyone except Keanu.
Does this not remind you of Miss Congeniality? You know she wore that pink dress on purpose.
In more serious news, Bullock’s home was broken into early Sunday morning, when she was home. TMZ reports that the man was arrested around 6:30 am and that “it’s unclear if the man who broke in was attempting to burglarize the home or if it was a stalking case.” I hope she has good security, but if she didn’t she’ll hopefully beef it up now. That’s scary.
These pictures are awesome. I would have loved to have been backstage to see this and I’ll be tuning in. Did Sandra come to the event in that tiara or did they give it to her? So many questions.

Me too!! I was shocked to learn she’s 49 ( turns 50 in July ) !! She looks so amazing , but I guess in reality 50 isn’t like our grandparents “50” anymore . People are looking younger for so much longer now – with or without plastic surgery. I’m glad to see a woman over the age of 30 be honored for being “hot” since society likes to pretend older women can’t be sexy, attractive and so forth. The dress is perfect!
Right…I can’t even believe she is this age. She DOES look amazing, still, and will look good for years to come. Also, Sandra is not just an actress, she has a very unique signature style she brings to the screen, and I think that’s one of the reasons we love her so much. Also, her comedic style is amazing and stands alone. We just love her for who she is, and she’s authentic and we can identify with her, too. She deserves every award she gets. She’s good at her craft, she’s loved by many, and I so envy her for what she has been able to achieve.

I’m not a fan of her as a dramatic actress (although I love her in comedies) but no one can deny she is absolutely great-looking, and has been for the past decade(s). Well deserved award!

Lotion Potion no. 9 and While You Were Sleeping were showing the other day, Sandra has not changed. She definitely deserved that award. She convincingly played a beauty contestant at 37. Heck, she can still play that role at age 50.

Though I think the “award” is kind of ridiculous, I love that these guys showed up for her. And that she embraces her less prestigious roles just as much as her more acclaimed ones too.
I do too. It seems like it’s one of those awards that you get when all your career has been is you playing ‘that girl who always ends up in a bikini in every single one of her movies’.

I thought J Aniston’s award was paid for. It came out of left field and she had a film out soon after. Part of her trifecta of promoting her films where she draws attention to her body, references Brangelina and debuts a new ‘relationship’.

Hugh looks old and worn down and Matt is just….. he always looks greasy to me. Keanu Reeves looks the best of the bunch.
