Even a badly-dressed hottie will still get the ladies. One lady in particular, and no, it’s not Hayden Panettiere. The rumor going around is that Gerard Butler and Bollywood actress Privanka Chopra are a hot new item. The two met in Dubai (random, right?) and Chopra has given a couple of interviews saying, basically, that she’s very fond of the Scottish heartthrob.
Privanka Chopra won Miss World in 2000, and her beauty queen status allowed her entrance into the Bollywood film industry. According to Wikipedia, she’s hot stuff in India, but not well-known outside of the subcontinent. She’s very pretty, but I can only think Gerry’s working his way around to me. Please!
Scottish actor Gerard Butler has reportedly found love with a former Miss World.
The 300 heart-throb was linked to a string of Hollywood beauties, including former Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
But he has now fallen for Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra – who was crowned Miss World in 2000 – after meeting her at a hotel opening in Dubai, according to British newspaper the Daily Record.
A source tells the publication, “Priyanka and Gerard hit it off really well in Dubai and have maintained their friendship ever since. They have kept in touch via phone calls and text messages.”

Oh, text messages! I would “text message” the hell out of Gerard Butler, but I digress. I tend to think that most of the rumors are coming from Priyanka’s side, that she may be using a relatively innocent relationship to try to boost her career. Or, hey, maybe it’s a real love connection. She seems like his type – two legs and a pulse. I joke! Gerry has standards. I think.

lol priyanka doesn’t need PR to boost her career. she’s doing very well for herself, she’s a bigger than gerard butler even though she’s not famos in the west.
there are rumours that she’s dating her co-star shahid kapoor too.

I agree, Priyanaka is much more popular than Butler. India has over 1 billion people with a fan-base that is somewhat conservative. Gerard has made it known he would marry her in jest. I believe he is thinking of her in that way. And the ball would be in her court. His type? (Look at his former girlfriend Bianca C) I come from a family similar to Priyanka’s mom’s side. This kind of family raises children to go after their careers but are extremely conservative in their families and choosing future spouses. . . How she is portrayed to her family/fans is very important. She probably is very interested in Butler yet have a little trouble with the package (ex-smoker-drinker-almost 40 man). . . . it may be better to have a non-smoker/drinker vegetarian-20 something like Shahid Kapoor as a (public) boyfriend. As for Butler, if he is very interested, the question is – will she pursue more than the casual phone calls, texting and small gatherings? If so, chances are she will consider him marriage material also.

This is completely false…Priyanka is with another bollywood actor named Shahid Kapoor….they’ve been dating for a long time!
but I have to say it would have been awesome to have a cross relationship, hollywood-bollywood!
