Kim Kardashian: ‘It is an adjustment trying to balance a career & motherhood’

FFN_Kardashian_Kim_SVG_062514_51461374

Kim Kardashian has been tweeting and Instagramming a lot the past few days. You know why? Because Kanye West is on his Yeezus tour and I guess Kim has to film Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so she can’t be his road girl. Somehow, she managed to find the time to give a little mini-interview to Romy & the Bunnies. It made my eyes roll so far back, I think I can see my brain.

Dear Kim, what do you love the most about being a mother?
I love being a mom! It’s the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase! Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!

What do you find the most challenging in being a mother?
I took a hiatus after I had the baby, and found it challenging to start working again because I didn’t want to spend any time away, but you adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out!

What is your favorite thing to do together with North? What would be for example a perfect day?
My absolute favorite thing is taking a nap with her. We cuddle and fall asleep holding each other
It’s my favorite time just snuggling with her.

What tip would you give to any busy working mom to balance career and motherhood?
It is an adjustment trying to balance a career and motherhood for sure, but the key is to prioritize.
You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful because you want every other waking moment spent with your family. You have to remember though to make time for yourself. If you feel good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is happy!

One last question, we all love travel tips with a baby, it seems North already travelled the world, what is your main tip to make it as smooth as possible?
Jet lag can be tough to adjust to, especially for a baby. I think its important to travel with the necessities to make sure your baby gets a nap on the flight, and whenever necessary!

[From Romy & the Bunnies]

One, she barely took a “hiatus” after she gave birth – she was back on the pap stroll within a few months. Two, her “work” is like no one else’s work. She’s created an empire out of nothing but an Ass of Lies. I would really appreciate it if she just referring to her famewhoring as a “career.” Four, there’s lots of evidence to suggest that North doesn’t even fly with Kim most of the time.

A few other things – Forbes reports that Kim made $28 million last year. UGH I HATE LIFE. And Us Weekly reports that Kim and Kanye are going to sell their money pit Bel Air property – the same property that Kanye has been endlessly renovating for more than a year. Apparently, they’re going to look for another house closer to Kim’s mom.

Not every sentence need end with an exclamation mark Kim.

    • Allie says:

My thoughts exactly! And good grief, that outfit in the last photo is doing her no favors. I don’t understand rich people who dress bad.

      • Jules says:

I don’t understand why her foundation on her forehead matches her dress.

      • Bob Loblaw says:

Someone here described this dress as earthworm like and that is now stuck in my head, thanks Celebitchy! Of course the worm’s forehead is the same color as the rest of it! Both exclamation points are for Kimmy-kakes.

    • TX says:

But shes so excited! Because she is actually writing the response! Its absolutely not some publicist! She also spends so much time with her baby! So she needs to let us know!

  2. dorothy says:

It’s tough to get up, take 5 hours to get ready, go ‘visit’ North in the nursery with the nanny, load up the empty stroller and drive downtown to walk to no- where everyday so the pap’s can photograph you. Who in the world does this nut think she’s fooling? She doesn’t have a clue.

What a totally useless life this woman leads.

    • Hootysgram says:

      I couldn’t agree more. I was thinking…yeh, you’ve got it real tough there Kimmie….
Oh..and what the hell is that skin colored miss you have poured yourself in to in that one pic above. IS she seeing the same image in her mirror as the world is…or does she have one of those amusement park mirrors that distorts the image looking back at you. Maybe she thinks she’s a size 6…when in reality…she is grossly out of balance…broad in the beam, as they say.

    • Nicolette says:

It’s as if the entire interview were made up of carefully orchestrated wording. She’s talking about motherhood and what it’s like, and how to balance career and child raising but in reality she’s so far removed from that scenario it’s hilarious and sad at the same time. Talking about how it’s the small things in life that you appreciate which to many of us is true. But somehow I doubt Kim finds the small things important at all, to her it’s about the almighty dollar and constant attention. Attention focused on her, not her daughter.

    • Mel M says:

      Ha “visit”, exact.

    • GirlyGirl says:

I didn’t know “lumpy clothes rack” was a career

  3. doofus says:

    career?…CAREER?!

    ugh.

(PS – I think that Nori is NEVER in that stroller…she uses the blanket to pretend that she’s walking with her but it’s all for show.)

    • lassie says:

Seriously. The only thing in she pushes in that stroller is her dignity. So it must be empty.

    • Wren says:

Of course! Stuffing yourself into ugly, ill-fitting outfits every day to go wandering around saying dumb, vapid things while being filmed for your TV show IS SO ca career! Is so! Is so! Is so!

    • Deb says:

LOL…there was a blind item on Blind Gossip that alleged the same.

    • prissa says:

I totally agree @doofus. It’s difficult for me to believe there is a 1 year old underneath that heavy blanket. Most 1 year old toddlers are curious and eager to explore the world around them and would scream bloody murder being under that hot cover. She’s such a joke.

Also, isn’t that an infant stroller??? She must realize kids grow out of that bucket stroller at some point, right?

      • Ag says:

this actually brings up an interesting (to me) question. nori just turned 1, right? first of all, i can’t imagine that she still fits in that stroller and that bucket seat (that’s also a car seat) that kim hauls around. my son was average weight and height, but we had to switch him to a different car seat (and a different stroller position) at ca. 11 months, he was getting WAY too heavy to carry around in that bucket car seat, and wanted nothing to do with it. but whatever – maybe nori is a small baby. second, what is kim going to do once nori is like 2? or 3? and when she’s unable to do what she’s doing now? will she have to actually take her kid out and take care of her, instead of carting towels around? the horror. haha

    • Sarah says:

Exactly! I am desperate for some overzealous pap to rip the blanket off the stroller/carseat because I would bet a year’s salary (mine – not Kim’s) that there is no baby under there.

    • Moneypenny says:

Exactly. There’s no baby in there. A lot of babies Nori’s age have outgrown that infant bucket seat by now. They’re just pretending she’s in there because they couldn’t hide her absence in a real stroller. The bucket seat would be REALLY heavy with a 13 month old in it (one who we can see isn’t particularly small).

    • ol cranky says:

yeah, I’m confused. Her “career” or job is to be filmed while living her life, how is that hard to juggle with living her life?

    • janie says:

I’m surprised she wasn’t hit by a lighting bolt for lying. Her favorite time is to take a nap with her? I wonder if she’s hitting her milestones? This woman and that entire family are trashy, disgusting, vile pieces of work.

    • gefeylich says:

THANK YOU. What, exactly, is this “career” of which she speaks? Prancing around in bad clothes for the paps? Whining on her joke of a reality show? Accepting large sums of money to “escort” Eurotrash? Participating in stunt wedding circus after stunt wedding circus? Having every single plastic surgery/cosmetic procedure known to medical science and random quacks?

Some career. Give that woman a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

  4. Amelia says:

    A career?
    Working on ‘meaningful’ projects?
I’m all for people choosing whatever route they’d like to go once kids come into the picture, but she cannot seriously be describing a mountain of pap walks and babbling rubbish to a camera with her family as a ‘career’.
Satan’s Little Helper is a harder worker than her.

    • Ag says:

i think by “picking projects” she means, you know, picking and choosing what we want to do in our 9-5 jobs. as in, “no, i will not work on this file today, it doesn’t feel meaningful to me.” LOL

    • Sabrine says:

She made $28 Million in one year. Say what you want but the woman knows how to make money and lots of it. No, it may not be a “career” but who cares when that’s what you’re hauling in. She’s laughing all the way to the bank.

      • word says:

It’s her mom doing the hustling. PMK is the one who lands Kim her deals, endorsements, etc. Kim just shows up. Without her mom doing the dirty work, Kim wouldn’t be making money like that. Kim isn’t even able to do her OWN make-up yet she has a make-up line. I can guarantee you it was her mom who took a million meetings and kissed up to the right people to get the K girls that make-up deal.

      • swack says:

Sorry, but hauling in money doesn’t necessarily make one happy. And I’ll take the teaching job I had (now retired) over walking around doing nothing. At least I was making a difference in some lives and have met many wonderful people along the way.

      • shelley says:

@ word – yep, people can say whatever about Kris, but that woman knows how to make money for her kids, that’s for sure. At what price, who knows, but she is good at it. She certainly has hustle.

      • Sisi says:

yet we never see her laugh

      • Bob Loblaw says:

Many women would take raising their baby over 28 million, money is nice but at a certain point, you have enough to live comfortably so why not focus on something more meaningful like raising your beautiful daughter? I’m all for women having careers if they want but Kim is not curing cancer or saving lives, she’s doing a daily pap stroll and was a paid escort to an Austrian ball. She could retire and no one would miss her.

      • Roger says:

Maybe she can have the money Sabrina, but the dignity and self-respect is more valuable than millions. So, yeah “she’s laughing at the bank” because money is the only thing she had at the end.

    • shelley says:

Exactly. Please, Kim, tell us all what you do that is SO “meaningful”. Delusions of grandeur, that one.

      • Ennie says:

MARRIED TO KANYE. NOTHING ELSE TO SAY.

      • Sabrine says:

It doesn’t matter who’s making the arrangements, crafty Kris or Kim. It’s still what she made last year from her perfume, personal appearances, her reality show and whatever else she does. Celebrity status, even if it resulted from a reality show, means a ton of money in the bank, often for doing very little. It’s incredible what a huge draw they are just for showing up at an event, not having to do anything but meet and greet a few people, then collect the big paycheck on the way out. They don’t have to have a “career” as such. They can make the big bucks without it.

      • debb says:

In Kartrashian lingo, “career” = “prostitution”.

  5. Ag says:

what is kim kardashian’s “career”? #AskThicke

  6. Ruyana says:

I would never body shame a person who is naturally shaped in whatever way. However, Kim has utterly destroyed her body. She looks bizarre and misshapen and none of it is natural. Neither she nor Kanye know how to dress her body and her clothes always look like they’re deciding whether to strangle her or jump off her body and run. She’s not very bright, and my understanding is that is was proven that she took an empty towel-covered car seat somewhere claiming the baby was in it when it was empty. I still feel sorry for that poor baby.

The Kartrashians are extremely successful grifters, but I do not envy them and feel their lives (other than chasing money and notice) are empty.

  7. R says:

Looking at her outfits make me uncomfortable by proxy.

  8. Hautie says:

Why would she wear a nude color tube dress? Did she lose a bet? Did Kayne remove all the mirrors from her home? That dress is all kinds of tragic.

I am still confused why she listens to him about clothes. As annoying as the whole family is in general to me. Kim always attempted to dress to flatter her body. Granted the dresses could have been a size larger. But she wore a lot of cute dresses. With the proper foundation garments.

Now she is wearing nude color tube dresses … with only her Spanx to keep all that sh*t packed in correctly. And that is just too much to ask of a single piece of Spanx.

    • Christin says:

And you can see the top and bottom lines of whatever super-strength Spanx product she is wearing under that dress.

      • MediaMaven says:

I thought that WAS the Spanx! There’s Spanx under that Spanx? I can’t even imagine how swampy she smells………she has to be a walking yeast infection with all that spanx over all of that plastic she calls her body.

    • Casey says:

that is not a dress. it’s like a pantyhose leg. it’s really unfortunate.

  9. irishserra says:

Maybe “career” and “motherhood” are the new, flashy names of cocktails she was sipping that day. She was stressed and double-fisting it and couldn’t make heads or tails of which to drink first or which she liked better. **Le sigh… Life is so difficult for this princess.”

  10. sonalaceae (Nighty) says:

Haven’t read the story nor the comments yet, but I have a pertinent question… WHAT CAREER????????????????????????????????????

  11. Tiffany27 says:

Hahahahahahahahahaha. She said literally nothing. Bye girl. Tell us more about your nonexistent struggle.

  12. Mesia says:

    What is her career??

  13. lisa2 says:

I don’t really spend time hating on Kim. I mean it is just too much effort.

the thing about this interviewer asking her about balancing her “work life” with raising her child is strange. Mainly because I don’t know what actual daily work Kim is doing. She has a reality show. The show is suppose to capture her daily routine. Which looks to be getting dressed up every day and going to lunch, shopping or a photo shoot and going on Vacation. Nothing else. This seems to be the work of the entire family. Everyone dresses up and just walks around. Go to the gym or to a party.

I would think this whole thing is exhausting. Spending all that time coordinating outfits and working on hair and makeup. Looking at every angle to see how you are going to look in pictures. Then trolling on line to see what outlets have picked up any news about you; then tweeting about nothing and posting pics on instagram. Very exhausting. Especially since none of that equals living a real fulfilling life as a mother.

but some people are buying what they sell so I guess that is work :/

  14. Dawn says:

Really? I find it hard to believe any thing she says and especially that she loves laughing with North. North always looks so frightened when she sees both her mother and father. And really Kim’s career is basically walking the stroll from here to there and reading lines for their scripted reality show. Another thing, North is too big for that car seat she always has covered. Unless she has strapped her legs and arms down that kid at the age of 1 would throw that blanket to the ground and be kicking her feet. Just more fodder for her very naïve fan group to believe that the rest of us roll our eyes at.

    • journey says:

the line about Nori laughing with her struck me too. “kimmie dear, she’s not laughing with you, she’s laughing AT you, because she realizes what a complete idiot you are.” that also is why poor little Nori looks so terrified when being held by kimmie or kanyie, a very astute child, she realizes that those two shouldn’t be trusted with the care of a can of lima beans, let alone a baby.

  15. Alex says:

When she says ”pack the necessities ” so the baby can get a nap, does she really mean ”don’t forget the benedryl?

  16. Skins says:

God, how did this guy keep a straight face listening to this garbage. And her giving “advice” to real mothers? Tough to take.

  17. swack says:

I am so sick of these celebs acting like they have the life of most of America. Fine if you want to work but PLEASE stop saying it is hard to balance work with motherhood. You have no idea what it is truly like to balance work and motherhood. Do you do laundry, dishes, cooking, bathing the child, cleaning the house, etc on top of going to a 9 – 5 job that probably is more like a 10 – 12 hour day than an 8 hour day? Do you even work 8 hours a day every day and then on weekends catch up with all the things you weren’t able to do during the week? You obviously don’t work 8 hours because you state you get to take naps with North (cough, cough). Get real and stop with the mommy advice. Also, as far as having a house to live in, her and Kanye will NEVER live in a house by themselves. She wouldn’t let Kris H move into her home, why would she now live with Kanye by themselves.

    • kri says:

I am so disgusted by her and the meaningless words the she lisps out from her glory-hole mouth I can’t even come up with a good insult.

      • swack says:

It’s just not her (only coming from her it’s totally ridiculous), but with the endless help they have, cooks, maids, nannies, pool people, lawn maintenance people, drivers, money to fix whatever goes wrong in the house (while most of us learn how to fix plumbing (I can seat a toilet with the best of them), electricity and any other thing that goes wrong, personal trainers, make up people, stylists, etc. they have NO idea what it is like to really have to handle it all and balance it all.

    • wonderwoman21 says:

+1. What an insult to actual working mothers. Ho please have a seat.

  18. msmercury says:

Can she stop with that covered stroller. It’s too funny the way Duchess Kate talks about Prince George (who is younger than Nori) running around getting into stuff and Nori is being treated like a newborn in stroller that is probably too small for her. I don’t believe you Kim.

    • minnieder says:

That drives me nuts too. I have 3 kids and all were riding in regular strollers by 6 months old. They could sit up, and WANTED to be forward looking out at the world. I call idiot bullshit. There’s no way in hell a baby is under that damn blanket, and if she ever actually pushed her kid in a stroller she’d know she was WAY past the infant carseat business. A box of rocks is smarter than Kim.

      • Moneypenny says:

I should have scrolled down before I posted the same thing above! My daughter was out of the bucket seat at 9 months. To be fair, my daughter is 99% height and weight (both mom and dad are over 6’0, so she’s going to be tall). regardless, there is no WAY she’d allow that blanket over the stroller. She would’ve stripped it off and thrown it on the sidewalk.

  19. Algernon says:

    What career?!

  20. Candy Love says:

    ( ” I took a hiatus after I had the baby,” )

After her “hiatus” she came back with a brand new face so I don’t know how much time she spent with North.

( ” found it challenging to start working again because I didn’t want to spend any time away, but you adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out!” )

Yet she speends a crazy amount of time away from her baby flying from state to state and country to country while North is back in LA. Funny how her sister manages to always be with her kids.

    P.S. What Career?

  21. Gigohead says:

According to a paparazzo friend of mine, Kim’s “job” is the sell her photos. Those “Pap walks” she seems to do daily is her job. She coordinates the event with her designated photographer and she is listed as the co-photographer in all her photos with the wire photo agencies and she gets a cut from each picture.

Seems lots of big celebrities are doing that and one doesn’t even realize it. They are making $$ from their own pictures. Kim has inspired a cottage industry.

    • briargal says:

WHAT??? I am shocked???!!! (Not really.) But here I thought the paps always just follow all the celebs around–as LeAnn complains about all the time! (What a joke from a joker! And a lie from a liar.) And what a hard career for little Miss sex tape. Her whole life is pathetic!

    • Bob Loblaw says:

Some of us realized, it’s so obvious after all, paps don’t have time to loiter all day out side her door, she’s not important.

  22. Spaniard says:

Oh please nobody buys what you are trying to sell us Kim!
*First you have no work to balance at all cause what you consider hard work is mainly having hair and make-up done, put on clothes and walk while paps take pics of you. Then having people record how you have lunch or talk with your family.
*Second to have to balance this *work* with been a mum you should actually be a mum to North and take care of her. But you can’t cause you are the biggest narcissist ever so you can’t afford to focus your time in someone else, even if that person is your daughter
*Third of course your favourite thing to do with her would be a nap cause that way she is just sleeping and you don’t have to do anything at all that would mean interacting with her.
*Fourth, are you seriously giving advice to working moms? Seriously? Who are you, another delusional Gwyneth Paltrow? Well at least she made a career of having talent as an actress so YOU doing it is definatly more insulting.
*Fifth, nobody is worried about your baby suffering jet lag. We all know rolled up towels are pretty easy to adjust to it.

When will she go away? UGH. It’s so insulting seeing someone like her making millions for no real reason or real talent: just lying, speaking as if she is entitled to give any kind of advice to people, having all kind of plastic surgery and getting more and more annoying. Seen her strolling around with those delusions of grandeur, as if she is some kind of really relevant person when she is only a JOKE really infuriates me. I can’t wait til the day when this whole revolting family goes away.
America why did you create this monster we all now have to deal with?

    • lucy says:

Ryan Seacrest made a really bad decision. Now we’re all living with the consequences.

      • Spaniard says:

I’ve read his name somewhere before but no idea who he is. Anyways I will never forgive him for this xD

    • Zimmer says:

Wasn’t it just a week or two ago that Kim said she insisted Nori sleeps in her crib. No co-sleeping.

All those answers are so cookie cutter. Not one ounce of something new, unique or creative.

  23. Cupcake says:

This all sounds so fake and generic. It’s reads like an interview with someone who has read about motherhood but not actually experienced it.

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

Cupcake, you are too kind. She hasn’t read about it, either. She has just heard rumours.

    • Ange says:

Yup. Nothing even remotely specific, probably because she doesn’t have a clue what a working mother is – both working and motherhood kind of escape her.

  24. Size Does Matter says:

She did take a hiatus after North was born. She completely vanished for several months while waiting for the push present nose job to heal and trying to lose a chunk of the post baby residual weight. It is indeed hard to balance career and motherhood, assuming you have the type of career that requires you be away from your child for long periods of time and that you actually want to be with that child. I don’t think either of those assumptions are true for Kim, though.

    • hunter says:

That nosejob was a huge mistake and ruined her face. She can never put back what she took away (nose now too short) and it was a big, big mistake. Her face was perfectly gorgeous before, now she looks like a muppet and it will only get worse.

Her ass is a disaster but that’s old news.

  25. P.J. says:

According to several other sites, Kim knows that she doesn’t-or rather, is well aware of the fact that the general public thinks she doesn’t-spend nearly enough time with with her infant daughter so she’s started staging all of those blanket-covered stroller pap shots. The best part? The sites all agree and have reported that when covered (aka, every time), THE STROLLER IS ALWAYS EMPTY. They even say she’s occasionally used a baby doll all while North is left at home with the nannies. How’s that for irony and idiocracy?

I mean, all that time and effort put into a scheme to try and convince the public that you spend time with your baby rather than ACTUALLY spending time with your baby?!

Chalk this one up to Kardashian Logic.

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

Kim is the walking embodiment of “It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you LOOK playing the game.” Unfortunately, she has NO
      idea how she looks.

    • Bob Loblaw says:

She needs to brush up on her Truman Capote, “There are certain shades of limelight that can wreck a girl’s complexion.”

  26. AryaMartell says:

Have Kim’s life and morals and make $28 mil or continue being an honest hard working ph.d candidate/college instructor making $44k a year?

I don’t know about the rest of you in your jobs but I’m totally happy being the latter. At least I haven’t been peed on or have a affection starved child. At the end of Kim’s life when she has all of her money several marriages and divorces and while I can’t predict the future most likely havw a child (or children, I hope not) who hates her. I wish I could ask her, “was it worth it?”

    • swack says:

So agree with you. I taught for 30 years. My highest salary was $65,000 and that was after having to pay for 2 masters degrees and 15 hours beyond that to be able to get any type of raise. Do I regret it – not for a minute or for all the money in the world. I had summers with my children and holidays with them and plenty of quality time with them. Money obviously is not making Kim happy. She may appear to be so, but her life is truly empty.

    • Sonia says:

I will say I have a baby who is loved beyond belief and that same baby has peed on me so my teaching salary is plenty for me 😂

      • AryaMartell says:

You got me there, Sonia. At least you’re being peed on by an innocent baby, someone who has no bladder control. What’s Kim’s excuse?

    • Anoni Mus says:

      @ AryaMartell

So agree with you. She may be laughing all the way to the bank right now, but what an empty existence. I doubt she’s self concious enough, but one day Kim is going to confront huge life crises. Imagine looking back at your life at all this silliness. She’ll definitely struggle with aging as a first obstacle.

  27. Lahdidahbaby says:

Necessities to bring on plane so baby can nap:

    1. Nanny #1
    2. Nanny #2
    3. Boarding pass for another row
    4. Liquid Benedryl

    • Spaniard says:

None of those are required when the only thing under that blanket covering the stroller are dolls or rolled up towels 😉

    • Jayna says:

I had to laugh at her giving tips on travel. You could almost see her frantically trying to reach back in memory and think what the nannies do to keep her content during travel. LOL

  28. paranormalgirl says:

Gah. I have no more can’ts to give with this woman. She made a career out of having a big ass and a sex tape. Yay.

  29. PreciousRobicheaux says:

Not too long ago, she was blathering about how strict she was on Nori sleeping in her own bed. Naps don’t count? Or does Kim haul her ample cookies into Nori’s crib with her? Frightening thought.

    • briargal says:

What’s really frightening is if she does nap with Nori, isn’t that putting Nori in danger if Miss Lard Ass rolls over on her! I have seen public service announcements telling adults NOT to sleep with their child because of that danger!

  30. Shelby says:

I can’t come up with words to describe that tan outfit *runs screaming

    • LA Native says:

I’m thinking busted condom dress and yes, these photos or her in it make me want to hurl my berry protein shake. #thatthinginthatdressmakesmefeelnormal

    • lucy says:

      Earthworm dress.

  31. word says:

So she prioritizes her work huh? How important was it to fly to Vienna to be an old man’s arm candy for the night? Must have been high on her list. Of course she was never going to move into that Bel Air mansion. Her and Kanye will never live together.

  32. Carrie says:

Jesus Christ that tube dress is unflattering.

  33. Lahdidahbaby says:

    Kim’s Daily Career-Drudgery:

    1. Wake up
    2. Work with tasteless stylist to plan the day’s wardrobe changes
    3. Work with PMK to schedule paps
    4. Have make-up & hair done, & be sewn into dress #1
    5. Get today’s “storyline” (e.g., brief convo w/Khloe re how annoying PMK is)
    6. Load baby-shaped towels into stroller for Papwalk #1
    7. Papwalk #1 with towel-baby
    8. Return to Calabasas or hotel with stroller and towel-baby
    9. Work with tasteless stylist on wardrobe change
    10. Have hair and make-up redone, & be sewn into dress #2
    11. Papwalk #2, stroller-free
    12. Prepare for evening activities
    13. Somewhere in there, try to stop by and say hello to North & nannies, scaring the hell out of North, who is at that age where babies are frightened of strangers.

A Career-Woman’s work is never done.

  34. Sandy says:

It is so obvious that a publicist is writing all her recent pronouncements. She’s trying to “connect” with ordinary working women, sort of an Anti-Gwyneth. But her “career” consists of changing her clothes to do pap walks, taking selfies and filming a “reality show,”– not to mention she has money and nannies to spare. It isn’t going to work Kim!

  35. bettyrose says:

If I had even $1 million I would structure my life and career to spend as much time with my pets as possible. And I’d adopt more.

  36. Tifygodess24 says:

Of all the things she could have said about her daughter she picks laughing? The baby is a year old and is hitting milestones all over the place – Pulling up , babbling words , crawling , smiling , teething etc. Not to mention really coming into her own little personality! Proves that Kim has no idea what her daughter does on a daily basis with such generic answers and no way would a baby her age still be in a carrier stroller – even a preemie baby !
I still can’t believe their 15 minutes aren’t up! They really are cockroaches.

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

Good points. For Kim to describe raising a baby is like if I had to describe nuclear physics or fracking. Hell, I’m not even sure how to spell fracking. That’s what it’s like.

    • dorothy says:

She doesn’t know about the milestones because she’s never with her. She probably thinks she’s still sleeping in a bassinet for god’s sake.

  37. Jayna says:

She took a hiatus after the baby because she felt fat and put herself on the Atkins diet and whatever else she was doing and came back the minute she was at her desired weight.

This interview shows how delusional she is.

  38. Joh says:

In the beige “balloon hammock ” dress , With her face in 3/4 view,
All her feature s look a bit off. Like a Piccasso painting.
Or that Birkin bag Kenye gave her.

  39. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Do baby’s get jet lag? I mean, you get jet lag because you can tell time, and you get one place and the time is way ahead or behind…if all you do is sleep and eat, do you notice? Serious question. Have never jetted to France with a baby.

    • swack says:

I think it might, because even Day Light Savings time can throw a child off – they get up an hour later or earlier depending on the time of year until they get adjusted to it. But then again, it may not affect North if she doesn’t have a true sleeping schedule. My children had to have one because we both worked and they had to be up early and so had to go to bed early.

  40. JudyK says:

Another covered-stroller pic in the HEAT of the summer. Yeah, right.

  41. ClaireB says:

She does have a brilliant way to say absolutly nothing remotely interesting in her answers. But again, I sincerely believe being more boring than a loaf of bread is one of the keys to her success.

  42. Moochiemom says:

It has been a year. Just one year. Wait till this kid is 2 1/2-3 years old and a holy terror. My kid opened the pantry, poured chips on the floor and declared she was “a T-Rex” as she stomped on the chips. Oh wait, I don’t have a nanny or production staff. I feel sorry for Kim. She is going to miss out on some of the most exasperating, yet amazing, parts of having a child/toddler. In my most exasperated moments I have laughed with my toddler. That is something you can’t buy.

    • swack says:

So true and your life is much richer for it! I still tell stories about my children and now my grandchildren.

    • TG says:

@Moochiemomma – So true. My toddler just dipped her underwear in the toilet for fun. I know what you mean about how it all ends up being fun even when they inconvenience you in a big way like dumping their cereal on the floor to be T-Rex as yours did.

  43. shelley says:

She has really ruined her face. If her face had looked like it does now, back when she was a big deal and the whole sex tape came out, she would never have become anything more than a sex tape star. She used to be beautiful, sexy and hot. No longer.

WTF does she do to make 28M dollars? KUWTK does not pay that much, so really, who is buying what she sells? Obviously someone is, but good grief.

  44. Giselle says:

I NEVER believe what Forbes says about people’s incomes. I feel they are always highly exaggerated.
The only people who know how much a celebrity makes for certain are the IRS.
Hollywood is all smoke and mirrors

    • Bob Loblaw says:

I agree, I always hear a lot of big numbers thrown around but I’m skeptical as to their reality. What exactly does she produce to bring in $28 mil?

  45. Lahdidahbaby says:

What is she thinking with that tube dress? It makes her look like a middle-school taxidermy project.

  46. I Choose Me says:

My BITCH PLEASE! upon reading this was so loud, I think the office next door heard.

  47. kortney says:

I laugh at how hard the Kardashians publicist works to get Kim in EVERY top list of some kind.
The top ten on Twitter, instagram, etc. And now Forbes, and people buy into EVERY TIME.
Forbes said their stores make $600 million. LMAO! How, with no merchandise?! It’s all smoke and mirrors to make Kim look bigger than what she is. And gullible people eat it up.

  48. elo says:

She sounds like she’s never even been around a baby much less mothered one. Cuddling and holding each other while we fall asleep? Snort! Try a foot in your ribs a tiny hand with a little finger in your eye and a little sweaty head on your arm which is so sweet you don’t want to move so you just suffer through the cramp. She really is putting forth an idealized version of mothering a child that she rarely sees. Booo! Whore!

    • Jesse4 says:

Exactly!!!! My 5 year old is laying on top of me now. I have said “ow!” About 6 times so far.

  49. Neelyo says:

I’d love to see a recreation of that scene from THE UNTOUCHABLES with the baby stroller.

  50. Eileen says:

Get a career, get a life, get a grip Kim you gigantic waste of potential! I’ve heard you kvetch over how painful, difficult your pregnancy was and how “hard” your life is now. Try being a widow and raising children on your own,or be a victim of abuse,or living as an injured, disabled veteran just trying to survive. Did you have some issues in your pregnancy? Yes but somehow every time I logged onto the internet you were jet setting someplace,somewhere-try being on forced bed rest, try maintaining a vigil at your sick babie’s side THAT is difficult not your cushy life.

  51. dorothy says:

The woman leaves her child with nannies everyday and pushes around an empty stroller for pap shoots. How hard could motherhood be? What a putz.

  52. me says:

She seriously needs to shut up. There are pics of her from the weekend in the Hamptons at a carnival WITHOUT her daughter. She is with Kourtney, Kendall, Scott, and Mason. Why not bring your own kid? Oh yeah, priorities…she was filming it for her reality show. They’ll just pretend Nori was there but wasn’t allowed on camera lol.

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

Good catch. She can’t bring Nori along to have fun with her normal cousins & their parents, because Nori doesn’t KNOW Kim, and she would have that sad little terrified face the whole time Kim was holding her. NOT good for the show. Plus, if Kim once puts Nori in that stroller without a blanket over her, the towel-baby hoax will be finito. Because how can you go back?

  53. Syko says:

I feel nauseated over this whole thing. First of all, there are thousands of intelligent, productive, innovative, experienced people who are not working right now because of the economy, and this poor excuse for a human raked in $28 million in a year. Second, she may have given birth to that child, but she is not a mother. Favorite thing is taking a nap with the kid…probably because when you’re both asleep, the kid requires no attention from you. As for juggling motherhood and a career…pfffft! Many of us juggle motherhood and careers/jobs, for us it means getting up early to get the kids and yourself ready, get them off to school or day care, put in a day at your job, come home, and have dinner to cook, dishes to wash, laundry to do, and a house to clean, not to mention helping the kids with homework and maybe trying to enjoy them or spend time with them. For her it’s makeup artists, hair stylists, probably hours trying to shoehorn herself into her too-tight clothes, stand around on a set for awhile, take lots of butt selfies and post them on various social media, and maybe go look in on your kid at some point during the day. It’s not motherhood and it’s not a career, and she has no idea what she’s even blathering about. As usual.

    • word says:

Yeah I think she is trying really really hard to make people hate her.

Secondly, I bet when Nori is 5 years old Kim and Kanye will ship her off to some French boarding school. Either that or she’ll have the paps waiting for her each morning as she drops off Nori at school. Hair and make-up fully done with a new designer outfit on each morning…and then she’ll brag about how she’s soooo good at juggling being a mother and a business woman.

I was watching TMZ the other day and one of their staff said she had the inside scoop about Kim and her nanny. The nanny is Spanish and calls North “Norte” all the time. The staff member said it won’t be long before Nori is fluent in Spanish. I say the Nanny is the best bet for Nori to be normal. It’s better off Kim and Kanye don’t spend a lot of time with her.

    • lucy says:

“…(S)he may have given birth to that child, but she is not a mother.”

      True.

Being a parent is the most important job that can be done.

This sicko can’t handle the truth.

  54. Sonia says:

Hey I think this same interviewer should go find Leanne Rimes and ask her how to be the best step mom in the world!

  55. Shellie says:

    What career???

  56. zinala says:

The stroller pictures are so out of touch with reality. Who is she fooling? What year old baby would be content to lie on their back with their face and body covered up. Most babies want to see what’s going on and want to be in the upright position. There’s nothing wrong with not taking your child everywhere you go. But to fool the media and the public that in itself is crazy.

  57. The Original G says:

Any I the only one who thinks this “interview” signals the beginning of a run to become a GOOP style blogger/lifestyle advocate for new mothers?

As for the stroller of towels, why do we never see her with a toy or a doll?

  58. Hot Farts says:

First, WOW–she’s a BIG ONE isnt she. Second, what is her career? I’m not being sarcastic. Define her career is you know what it is…? Third, she say prioritizing is job one–would that be the deceitful manipulation and outright lies she perpetuates? OR is that just calling the nanny into the room to prep the roll of towels for the fake stroller ride?

    • Bob Loblaw says:

She’s employed by E! for her awful faux reality show with her family and she and her sisters have some clothing stores and a variety of other products like makeup and perfume lines. I don’t know how well their stuff sells. I heard good stuff about the make up and a girl I know went to one of their stores. She said a t-shirt at Dash (their store) cost $300.00 and it was just a plain black t-shirt that said Dash. She wanted to buy it, she’s a teenager, but it was way too expensive for her. I have heard no one buys the clothes and that they had a line of clothes at Sears that tanked and ended up on the bargain racks and still didn’t sell.

  59. MinnFinn says:

Kim’s meaningful project selections in 2014 include payment of $500,000 for appearing at the Vienna Opera Ball and a Phuket photo shoot of her behind overhanging the edge of a boat.

That’s what the 21st century Marsha Brady does with her time. Not kidding. I googled KUWTK audience demographics and an LA Times article popped up stating this.

[KUTWK was] “was conceived as a Hollywood version of “The Brady Bunch” — the harmless high jinks of a loving blended family against a backdrop of wealth and famous connections.”

  60. Brasileira says:

Too good she doesn’t have to make any adjustment, since IgNori is never with her.

  61. Hayley says:

A career?? Strutting around in clothes that are two sizes too small while indulging oneself is a career? A lobotomy couldn’t make her any clueless than she already is. What a joke.

  62. Lucky Charm says:

It’s an adjustment to balance your career and motherhood? Not when motherhood for you simply consists of a few scheduled photo shoots!

  63. Bridget says:

Crazy theory: I dont think the baby is actually in that stroller anymore. A one year old doesnt sit facing forward like that, nor would they happily let themselves be covered by a blanket like that. Nor is it likely that they fall asleep in the stroller unless you’re super lucky. I think she’s just taking the stroller out for show.

  64. Jag says:

I think its important to travel with the NANNIES to make sure your baby gets a nap on the flight, and whenever necessary!

There; fixed it for you, Kim.

  65. Lahdidahbaby says:

It’s sooo HARD caring for a towelbaby. Especially with, like, a demanding career. You wouldn’t believe how fast a towelbaby will just, like, soak up everything around it. PLUS, you have to have someone LAUNDER it so it won’t, like, MILDEW. And it’s really really hard to shape it in the shape of, like, an actual baby every single time I leave for a papwalk. PLUS, then there’s all the stress of making sure nobody sees it under the blanket that, like, covers the stroller. I’m exhausted.

  66. aenflex says:

One day, inevitably, that ass will fall. It was start to sag, the implants and fat deposits will shift, and no amount of surgery will be able to correct it. I wait for that day. I would pay to see the pictures. There is an expiration date, and that’s my mantra each and every time I’m somehow (again) suffering through another Kardashian story.

  67. hias says:

Haha what career? She is famous for a sex tape and a failing reality tv show. She is a nobody. I don’t believe she made 28 million by doing nothing. Her business are all failures. How can you make money from a failing business? Maybe from the paps, but no way would she make 28 million from pap pics alone. She is probably lying. Just like how Forbes claimed she was worth 80 million last year but it wasn’t true.

  68. Adriene says:

She and her family are disgusting. Why in the world are they making the kind of money that movie stars or singers usually get paid? This is disgusting. She has been invited to Presidental dinners, is at the Grammys, elite fashion shows, MET Gala, etc. So far she and her family haven’t snuck their way into the Oscars, but it could happen. Ugh its nice to know their reality show and their ‘fame’ is going away.

  69. claire says:

At least in this interview she isn’t throwing shade at Kourtney for, you know, actually parenting her kids.

  70. redd says:

Can someone tell me what her “career” is again?
