Elisabeth Hasselbeck is so pissed off that Rosie O’Donnell is returning to The View

Back in 2007, when The View was much more relevant and popular, co-hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O’Donnell got into a heated argument over the way that conservative pundits were portraying Rosie’s opinion. That argument led to Rosie leaving the show after just nine months, and she later said that she thought the argument was pre-planned by producers. Elisabeth stayed on The View for six more years, finally departing last summer to head over to Fox News’ Fox and Friends, where was free to let her conservative flag fly.

It was thought that Elisabeth and Rosie buried the hatchet at some point, but there are obviously still hard feelings there. On Fox and Friends, Elisabeth discussed Rosie’s return to The View as if it were a personal affront to her. She also said that she thought Rosie’s deal with producers was in the works for several months, and she was incredibly miffed about it. Elisabeth called in to Fox and Friends because she’s currently on vacation, and she bitched about how this news ruined her vacation. Video is here and a partial transcript is below.

What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?

I know Rosie very well. We worked quite closely. Talk about not securing the border. Here in comes to ‘The View’ the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there.

Coming back with a bunch of control ready to regain a seat at The View table. Not surprising, I believe this has been in the works for a long time.

Go back to the reunion show for Barbara. When you have a woman who again insinuated that our own troops in Iraq were terrorists at the time then left the show, meanwhile still at the end of her contract. To have such ease at Barbara’s goodbye show was shocking to me. She walked around with a lot of control. And then when I had the chance to talk to her, Rosie herself told me on set, while we were miked up, that she produced the reunion show and that it was her idea. Do you think that the woman who left the way she did would be producing Barbara’s goodbye show? Here’s the shocker, it was actually her ‘hello show.’

Anyone who is going to be in that seat, if this is going to play out how I think it is, will have to be fully approved by Rosie. Let’s not forger, Whoopi Goldberg is sitting there. Whoopi is an EGOT, Whoopi has more trophies in her case than Rosie. She’s the leader on that show. I’m going to be very interested to see how that goes… I don’t think it would be wise for Rosie to challenge Whoopi on anything.

[From Fox News and Video]

They also played a clip from TMZ live where Harvey Levin praised Elisabeth Hasselbeck and said that she held the show together by having a dissenting opinion. Then the Fox guy said that the problem with “this latest batch” is that everyone had “the same view, you need to have an opposing view otherwise it’s just dull.” Hello?! This is coming from Fox and Friends. Do they regularly showcase other opinions or have a panelist who doesn’t nod and smile along with the company line?

Elisabeth has been off The View since last summer, I get that she’s still attached to it but this doesn’t affect her at all. She’s moved somewhere where she fits in perfectly. It’s been years since she’s worked with Rosie and she obviously hates the fact that Rosie may be taking over Barbara’s role somewhat. I disagree that Whoopi and Rosie are going to butt heads. I bet they’ll get along quite well. They may not meet eye-to-eye on everything, but Rosie is going to be a much better boss than Barbara Walters.

  1. It is what it is says:

That picture of Rosie in glasses, doing who knows what with her arms…that is amazing! Hahaha! Thank you for that one.

  2. Lilacflowers says:

Dear Elizabeth, you silly, selfish, self-centered little moron, here are some examples of far worse news you could receive on your vacation: a tsunami warning while your children are swimming in the ocean; the plane you are on is having engine trouble and you’re flying over the middle of the Pacific; news from back home that a family member has just died; while changing your bathing suit, you find a hard lump in your breast. Just a few examples. Grow up.

    • Kiddo says:

She works on Fox News. This is the perfect thing to be upset about, along with the War on Christmas ™ , a shortage of loofah pads, brown people in nearly all contexts, as well as women who have sex.

    • Petee says:

She is the three b’s.Blonde,bitter,bitch.I was so glad when she was given the boot.I am sure Rosie left because she had to deal with this squawking, shrieking, no it all everyday. If Rosie comes back I will start watching it again.I still miss Joy on the show.Hopefully the show will get better or else they should just call it a day.

      • Pepsi Presents...Coke says:

Yeah, Elisabeth is– she’s something else.

      • Kosmos says:

I didn’t know a thing about Hasselbeck before I saw her on The View, but I definitely got a very negative feeling about her right off the bat, what a self-centered, eco-centric little person she was!! I don’t really tune into The View very often, but when I heard she was no longer there, I was thrilled!! She was HORRIBLE, kind of like the way I felt about Nicki Minaj being on American Idol–a total mistake!!

    • feebee says:

+1000. She must have the thinnest skin possible if this news ruined her vacation. I’m surprised they had her call in to vent about it. Didn’t her show just run a piece on women in the workplace and one pice of advice was not talking too much?

On the plus side (for me) Elisabeth’s misery has buoyed me for the moment. And to think I only scored 47% on a random ‘how bitchy are you’ quiz. As I noted on a different thread, Karma has a sense of humor.

      • forreal says:

Elizabeth does as she is told. She got notes from bill getty the fired producer on what to say. She was told to call in.

And lets notice that she now looks older than rosie while we’re at it. Being a puppet ages you.

    • Belle Epoch says:

Thank you for that, LILAC! I couldn’t believe she even let those words out of her mouth. A child stepping on glass ruins your vacation, not an old frenemy getting a job!!! Absolutely detest Hasselbeck – I think she’s hoping the View will die without her presence.

    • Brittaki says:

      Geez Lizzie, bitter much?

    • wwbeeeert says:

Only the leftist media would consider putting Cowhead Rosie back on TV.

    • Lilacflowers says:

In the last 24 hours I have learned of the following: a friend’s diagnosis with thyroid cancer; the worsening of a terminal illness in my cousin’s 2 year old grand-daugher; the death of a colleague’s father; and the death of a former colleague at age 45 (she has three children). I really don’t care about EH’s vacation. The selfish woman needs to get her head screwed on straight.

    • Nikki L. says:

Ugh, thank you. So many sour grapes, what a brat.

  3. Abbott says:

So if LeBron returns to Cleveland, will that make him the Rosie O’Donnell of the NBA? Can we try to start that?

  4. Timmy says:

    How petty.

  5. GiGi says:

This is actually one of my favorite stories. Elisabeth Hasselback (beck? idk.) is just the worst. She fits right in at Fox – all bluster and no substance.

I couldn’t believe that she was so ripped that Rosie was rejoining The View. Who cares? It literally has nothing to do with Elisabeth, but of course, she sees it as a direct affront to her. Why? To call in and talk about how some random entertainment program casting has ruined your vacation is just so narcissistic. She must be a joy to live with.

    • Lilacflowers says:

It must have been a lousy vacation any way.

      • Rhiley says:

Ha! I can picture it now… screaming kids, crowded beach, drink ruined because the ice melted quickly and made it all watery, listening to light rock radio, and reading Todd Aiken’s new book for the upcoming interview upon her return.

    • Jess says:

      +1

    • Chris says:

I remember watching Fox the night after Obama won the last election. It was hilarious.

    • Tiffany :) says:

Yeah, it is so odd that she is so worked up over it. Makes her look very petty.

    • Mayamae says:

Elisabeth is angry because she played a role in setting up Rosie that day, and took pride in running her off. Like Rosie, I believe the fight was planned by Bill Geddie, and carried out by attack dog EH. The most obvious sign that the whole thing was planned, was the split screen of Rosie and Elisabeth – something never done before on the show, yet they were prepared to do it.

  6. Hautie says:

I suspect that Elizabeth is still p*ssed that she got ran off from “The View”. She did not leave that job willingly. Plus it is a much better job to be on a network talk show daily… than on some random cable news show. With a bunch of harpies like her self. She is no longer the special butterfly she was on ABC.

And yea… I bet Rosie was pleased to inform Elizabeth, personally, of her glorious return to “The View”. I do not expect to see Elizabeth invited back to ABC anytime soon either, since she is out there running her hateful mouth.

    • lucy2 says:

I agree, I was always under the impression she was given the boot, so this probably gets her goat even more so because of it.
If she were smart, she wouldn’t have commented at all, or said something like “Oh really? I’ve been so busy with my new job I haven’t been paying attention to that show.” Instead crying that it ruined her vacation? Pathetic.

  7. Jenns says:

    Bitter, party of one.

    • PennyLane says:

Yeah, seriously. How does this information affect Elisabeth Hasselbeck at all?

When I first read that line about this news ruining her vacation, I thought it was a joke.

This woman needs to have a seat.

  8. lisa2 says:

EH needs to STFU.. she should be over this. It was over 6 years ago. I think she is mad that she was not asked to come back. I think Rosie will do fine on The View. I can’t watch the show because they all talk over each other. No one knows the art of Listening.

I caught the show the other day and it was very clear to me that Whoopi is over Sherry and Jenny. She doesn’t talk much and lets them kind of ramble; screaming and being way too over the top.

I think they should bring on that Stacy Dash chick or Candace Cameron-Bure. They would both be interesting..

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Stacy Dash would be interesting if only for the fact that she’s a conservative WoC–a faction of the population that you don’t often see represented on network television.

    • FingerBinger says:

I say bring in Meghan McCain. She’s conservative, has political connections and she might bring in a younger audience.

      • Sharon Lea says:

Yes, Meghan McCain would be great on The View, she can tell a joke, thinks for herself and can talk about Republican ideas. I may be different politically from her, but I will listen to what she says. Whereas Elizabeth sounded like she was simply spouting off talking points the Right gave to her to say that day.

      • Lollipop says:

I’ve seen Meghan on Real Time with Bill Maher and she doesn’t seem all that bright.

      • FingerBinger says:

@Lollipop I find Meghan McCain interesting. On the other hand none of the women at The View are particularly bright so she’ll fit right in.

      • holly hobby says:

I actually read Meghan McCain’s book and she is pretty funny. Plus she may be a Republican but she’s not a hard right, bible thumping one. She would be great on the show.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I find Meghan interesting and I do not like how vicious her own party has been to her.

  9. Dorothy#1 says:

I love Rosie, I’m so glad she’s coming back. I’ve barely watched since Joy left and Jenny is a twit, I hated watching her. Elizabeth is just bitter she got fired.

  10. Word Girl says:

Melissa had a long run and now it’s over. Best to accept it and move on. It’s not like she’s suffering anyway. She’s super rich and has found another gig. Time to move on from the meangirling.

  11. escondista says:

Hasselbeck called in for ratings, pure and simple. Fox likes to rile the base using any means necessary. I don’t know if Elizabeth actually cares or if summer boredom has left her network with too few things to scream about.

    • Sandy says:

Agree! Of course, the first words out of Elizabeth’s mouth are a dog whistle to the bigots who watch Fox — “Talk about not securing the border!” Just a way to raise their blood pressure and convince them that Rosie is the enemy. Red journalism at it’s worse!

    • Bob Loblaw says:

Oh she cares, she made it quite clear she despised Rosie, this is sticking in her craw.

  12. Lizzie K says:

Meh, I don’t watch the View and don’t care who is on it, but I am still pissed off at Barbara Walters for bringing Elizabeth Hasselbeck to prominence. She has one of the most annoying voices on the planet, and why ANYONE would want her for a talk show is beyond me.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Regardless of our differing political affiliations, as women we should all be pissed at Babs for using a conservative woman who is so shrill and idiotic to represent the right.
There are better women for the job, I’m sure.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Possibly, but the movement itself doesn’t put those women forward and pushes aside more reasonable, articulate and accomplished people like Olympia Snowe in favor of the Palins and Bachmans and Coulters and Hasselbecks as spokeswomen.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        Oh I agree 100%.

      • Momoftwo says:

That’s very true! I am very liberal but i too believe that EH was a bad representation of conservatives (unless u want a reason to hate on them 🙂

      • Tiffany :) says:

So true, lilac. I try to remember that the extremists don’t represent the average GOP voter….then I look at the front runners during the Presidential elections, and wonder if I am being too generous.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Tiffany, the fact that not one major person in that party stood up to that pig Rush Limbaugh’s crap about denying treatment for ovarian cysts because he didn’t want to pay for birth control so Sandra Fluke could have sex was extremely sad and telling – not that he was paying for it; the women were paying for it through their insurance premiums. They put misogyny and disgusting pigs before a woman’s access to medically necessary health care and the truth and EH was right along with them.

  13. pretty says:

i only know her through Survivor. she seemed like a sweet girl back then… i hate to judge people but i just can’t comprehend how women…can be….conservative in this internet age…

    • Steph says:

Easy…..to be conservative, especially if you are a woman. Just another view…which is not appreciated on this web site. Let the assault begin.

      • Diana says:

Being conservative used to mean something very different than it does today, though. The conservative, Republican party has been hijacked by social extremists on the one end and, on the other, corporations looking to maximize their profit at the expense of the average working man/woman.

You used to be able to actually look at the parties and understand each one’s point of view. Now, it’s just absolute, contradictory madness on both sides, propped up by insidious fear-mongering propaganda. I can see how a woman /might/ support the conservative social extremes that, ultimately, dis-empower women as a whole (religious ideology and internalized patriarchal ideas, to start), but ultimately — unless you are a rich, white man or a religious extremist, it doesn’t make much sense to be a Republican in this day and age.

      • Meijia says:

Conservative ? Liberal? I am absolutely sick of both parties. The rant on both side is ridiculous. I watch Fox , ABC and MSMBC to try to get a varied view becuse i have yet to find a media that is not either or? The hysteria on both sides has reached an unprecedented level and I blame both parties. Where are the sensible. People? By the way I am in a red state and do practice Christianity and really resent it when people from other areas labels me a conserative or Republican, believe it or not some of us religious South people are very moderate.

      • Inconceivable! says:

Steph – I agree. As a conservative (but not a member of the “Religious Right”), I find it frustrating to see all the negative comments to women that happen to have an opposing view. Considering Democrats & liberals claim to be inclusive of everyone who may be different…they certainly don’t include bring tolerant of Republican women.

      • From North of Boston says:

Whenever I meet someone who says they are a conservative, I usually ask them what they are trying to conserve. The ones who can think for themselves usually laugh, and we go on to have some pretty interesting discussions. And we often find that we have some common ground.

I may be labeled politically as “liberal” but am interested in conserving things like personal freedoms (as long as they don’t impact someone else’s personal freedoms), natural resources and the environment (so that the children of this generation will inherit the amazing planet that we inherited and have some hope they can continue to live on it) , the separation of church and state . And as much as many extreme right-wing conservatives talk about wanting to limit the reach of the government (like trying to eliminate safety net programs or eliminate measures that could help keep criminal or unstable people from becoming armed) they seem REALLY REALLY KEEN that the government, or some other ruling organization has every right to dictate what I, as a woman, can do with my body, in my bedroom, in my marriage to the person of my choosing or under guidance of my doctors. The hypocrisy of some is astounding, between the values they claim and what they do or what they want the government to do. I think that is what is being referred to when people wonder how women can be “conservative”

      • Bob Loblaw says:

It depends on what you mean by “conservative”, doesn’t it? If you let me live in peace and don’t try to impose a bunch of nonsense on me, I don’t care what you call yourself. Just don’t demonize me because I disagree with you or because I want my tax dollars spent feeding children and old people instead of bombing Iraq or Afghanistan.

  14. Mia4S says:

Bitter baby needs her bottle? Seriously this ruined her vacation? How pathetic!

I don’t agree with Rosie on many things but she is very watchable. The View made a good call. Plus she has banned reality show stars from being co-hosts. Bravo, standards!!

  15. Talie says:

I was a bit shocked by her behavior! I remember at the reunion show, she and Rosie were both tweeting pics of the two of them… I thought they made up!

What a petty person…but she is also probably thrilled because now she can dissect all of Rosie’s comments on The View on Fox & Friends. That’s what they used to do. Rosie keeps her relevant.

  16. Tiffany27 says:

Girl eat a snickers. She sounds hangry.

  17. Nev says:

    SIT DOWN.

she’s turning into Anne Coulter. ugh.

  18. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Anyone with any connection to the View takes that show way too seriously. It’s over. Nobody cares.

  19. Neelyo says:

Hasselbeck left the greener pastures of ABC to join the Fox News line-up of Blonde Fembot Newsreaders and she’s mad that nobody wanted her back.

    • T.C. says:

      +1

Can’t help but to be happy that she’s so pusses about Rosie. Trying to make it seem like Whoopi will have a problem with Rosie’s return is crazy. Whoopi is the most chill out if the whole group, nothing much bothers her.

      • feebee says:

Thanks T.C, I thought I was being a bitch for this story making me happy!

      • Bridget says:

Whooping herself has stated that she’s only there for the paycheck, I don’t think she cares what anyone on that panel says.

  20. Sugar says:

Rosie O’Donnell is an angry, unpleasant woman who I highly doubt viewers will tune in to see.

    • Greata says:

Have to agree, Rosie is a trainwreck, and will in time wreck The View. Barbara Walters to my mind is the BIGGEST PROBLEM the show faces. She has proven to be a vindictive boss who should also be removed from making any decisions about staffing the show. She hires the wrong people, and then fires them in a most unpleasant manner. By the time they leave, they are maligned, and she looks like the victim. Yes, I know she created it, but its time for Queen Barb to go.

      • mellie says:

I’m with you, I cannot stand Rosie. Mark my words, she’ll find someone else to wail on and start trouble with, it will be good for ratings.

      • Jayna says:

        I thought she left already.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Sugar, this may be true (I have never watched the show and don’t intend to do so) but EH’s claim that the news ruined her vacation went beyond ridiculous.

  21. lisa says:

i still cant believe the spew ever lasted one season.

  22. truthSF says:

Hearing that Elisabeth’s vacation was ruined over this news makes this the best news ever!

Ps… she’s just mad that Rosie has the power to allow/not allow who she wants on the show, and she’s banning anyone from a reality show background from co hosting the show. And we know where Lizzie got her start at, right? 😀

  23. Jennifer says:

I can not stand Elizabeth….in fact, the only time I specifically paid attention to her was because of Rosie. Rosie is a hard pill to swallow, but I have always believed she stands by her convictions unlike Elizabeth!

  24. Putchka says:

EH & her fake, frozen smile. What a twit. Rosie is a lot of things but not a shallow idiot.

  25. Lara K says:

EH to me is the epitome of a brainless bimbo.
She is so dumb I can’t even get mad at her. She is too dumb to even understand why she needs to shut up. Poor thing.
Go back to Faux my dear, and let people with more than 2 brain cells make the decisions on real networks.

    • feebee says:

Yeah, especially since they spelled it out for her (women talking less in the workplace so as not to ‘dominate’ the conversation blah blah).

  26. Maya Memsaab says:

Can EH, Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin be sent to some uncharted bit of the Amazon rainforest and THEN the ‘border be secured’?

    • Bob Loblaw says:

I want to watch a reality show where they are stranded together, survivor style, and see who comes out on top. My money is on Coulter, Palin has the Alaska wilderness cred but Coulter has the crazy eye. EH would be road kill.

    • enya says:

      Ha!!!

  27. Marianne says:

Why does she care so much? I mean really? If I had a co-worker that I disliked and butted heads over…but eventually she left the establishment and I ended up leaving and finding a new job, I wouldn’t care if she got her old job back or not. I really wouldn’t. You know why, I dont have to see her everyday or work with her anymore.

    • feebee says:

But she will have to pay attention to her because I’m betting they’ll have a occasional rebuttal session esp for Rosie on F&F.

  28. Dawn says:

She and her overly right wing opinion is where it is meant to be and that is at Fox . I really don’t believe that she is really upset by this. I thought she was always hoping to move over to Fox and was happy to be off The View. I think Rosie will add some kick to this show because it so sorely needs it.

  29. Word Girl says:

The View was already wrecked. The only 2 I really was Joy and Barbara. The show was the babe of the existence of what they were trying to accomplish, which was to bring women if different backgrounds together to speak on important topics objectively with some juxtaposition for entertainment. Instead viewers just saw a bunch of women bicker, like a bunch of 6 year olds, and the arguments were mainly about race. I was thinking, please pull the plug and give the talented Joy Behar her own show.

  30. Gonzalez says:

As long as Hasselbeck exists, the Kardashians will continue getting a pass from me. God I can’t stand that slag.

  31. dancinnancy says:

I stopped caring about The View years ago, but I definitely won’t watch now. I’ll never forget Rosie having Tom Selleck on her show and then ambushing him about the NRA. Pretty hypocritical of a woman who hired gun toting body guards.

Anywho sour grapes all around it seemed. I don’t like Elizabeth but I did like that she challenged people – sometimes even respectfully.

  32. Altariel says:

I actually went to see the View the very next day after the blow out. Rosie, sadly was not there, the excuse was she was celebrating her girlfriend’s birthday. But she never returned. I was so hoping for an encore performance that day lol

  33. The Original G says:

I’m always amazed that she seems to have not one iota of gratitude for the platform and profile that Barbara gave her with The View. She thinks she’s smart and special.

The View is deader than dead. Why would Rosie want anything to do with it? She used to be talented.

    • mayamae says:

Rosie made some positive changes last time she joined the show. Her old show was very successful, and she changed some of The View’s practices. Two that I can remember, is taping Friday’s show Wednesday afternoon so they only have a four day work week, and all the giveaways to the audience.

  34. wow says:

I dont particularly like either of those women, but I really don’t like Rosie O’Donnell. Elizabeth shold not have even commented negatively beung that she has moved on to (in her world) a dream job. I was in this same position professionally years ago and that is what I did. I was too busy enjoying my dream job to even focus on what was going on at my old job. Success and truly being happy is honestly the best hings to focus on.

Instead of the negative verbal diarrhea, Elizabeth should have congratulated Rosie on air and wished her well…and mean it. Lol. I’ve learned that when people expect or even want you to act salty, you turn it around and give them sugar.

    • Mindy says:

      You’re totally right!

    • Tiffany :) says:

“I’ve learned that when people expect or even want you to act salty, you turn it around and give them sugar.”

So true and very wise! 🙂

  35. Mindy says:

Why should she even care? After awhile she wasn’t at home on THE VIEW with the way most of the ladies undermined her opinion . Even though I didnt agree with alot of what she said I think she was treated pretty shabbily at times. Fox News is her turf as far as her opinions go. She should be alot happier and not care where Rosie goes.

  36. PoliteTeaSipper says:

Can’t stand that shrew, Elizabeth. What a hag. Fox is where she belongs, if she has to be on tv at all.

  37. Jenns says:

LOL, Rosie’s return was just confirmed. Liz is probably about to explode.

  38. LilyT says:

I fully endorse anything that pisses off that Hasslebeck twat. GO ROSIE!

  39. Kay V says:

Does anyone care about The View anymore or who cackles on it?

  40. Pepsi Presents...Coke says:

If Elisabeth is sent to Night Vale, this won’t seem so bad. All hail the Glow Cloud, right?

  41. Liz says:

I liked Rosie on the show. She has strong opinions that she is not afraid to defend. I was very disappointed when she left. Joy and Meredith were also such a great part of the show. I also enjoyed Elizabeth’s opinion even though I didn’t agree with her. She sounds very bitter now and in that pic she looks so old and HARD. She’s really gone downhill. Meghan doesn’t have enough personality. She’s missing a light-hearted, fun quality that at her age should be there.

    • joan says:

The first reaction I had was, Boy is she jealous! What’s she so jealous about?

She didn’t want to stay on the show but when Rosie comes back she’s furious.

Maybe she’s jealous that Whoopi and Rosie and others will have a brand new show w/o Wawa, and it might be really good.

  42. LMS says:

Elisabeth used to be so cute and pretty. Now she just looks hard and angry.

    • jaye says:

I remember when she hosted the show “The Look for Less” (I don’t remember what channel it was on), but I loved her on it. I thought she was so cute and sweet. In the words of Ricky Ricardo Wha haappened?

  43. Kate says:

Has Elisabeth had cheek implants? Something seems very ‘off.’

  44. Jana says:

Just hearing that shrill b!+@# makes my teeth hurt. She should just be grateful that she has decent legs, or she would have never been hired at Fox News. She is an @$$hat.

  45. Meg says:

I thought the crew on the view leaked to page 6 about her being fired because they didn’t like her and wanted her out-remember when barbara went on the air the next day denying that elizabeth was leaving only to have her ‘resign’ months later? she was asked to resign and is now pissed that the very people who asked her to resign are welcoming rosie back-this is why she let this news bother her so much during her vacation.

  46. Eh defends Christine odonnel, remember that bit, i am not a witch!!! or stumping for sarah after finding out she spent over 150,000 on clothes during a global meltdown, it just galls me that the same people want less government, want to control women’s bodies, let the religious right run the SCOTUS , thinks that people who just want the right to not be fired or be treated like a second class citizen have a secret agenda, she is extremely thin skinned, and she fits in perfectly at fox, i personally think she is p-ss that she was not given the job, after all she was so famous before a stint of a reality show and before that designing shoes for puma for all of two years, after her BFA degree, when ever she forced to defend her positions she turns into poor poor me, for me it was pout rage over Erin andrews costumes on DWTS and then the fake tears the next day and using her kid as the reason she was sorry, She was sorry that abc owns both shows and siding with a convicted stalker was not in ABC interest , the best thing about the view was the snl parody, and there are plenty of smart GOP women, Meghan McCain, Nicole Wallace, to name a few that would actually know about governance , i mean really people come on , she reminds me of the Simpsons episode this fall in tribute to Ms K where kent brockman is very bitter for not leaving springfeild like Rach Maddow did, moves to NY gets hired on by fox and is shown how its a gop mouth piece, and even Kent says no way lol!!!!!!

I stopped watching The View a couple of years ago and with rosie’s return, see no reason to return to watching it. I agree with people who say The View was at its best when they had a strong dissenting voice on it. The debate was more interesting.
