The Sebastian stan link is funny. In my dream world he and misha Collins play brothers who go on a hilarious trip across the us on motorcycles. Maybe I’ll have to start writing fanfic…

Pretty sad when instead of getting sober for yourself, your family and close friends, you get sober for an actor you met on set. St.Pitt, inspiring people to reform every day. *eye roll*

I’m on board with the No Trust Fund policy some celebrities are setting up for their children. These kids will still get to live in luxury as children with allowances, get college paid for them, have connections because of who their parents are but will have to actually work as adults. The rich guy on Fish Tank who has close to a Billion has the same policy. No trust fund for his kids.

Also, it’s not as if the door is closed on that forever. Their mother inherited the money. When the children are a bit older, she may decide to set up funds for them or she might not. His will basically indicated that he trusts his partner to handle these decisions, which is what I think a lot of people in relationships would do and would hope their partners would do.

I don’t see anything wrong with leaving your children a trust fund. It is not the money that is the problem. It is how you are raised to handle your wealth. I know children who have parents that are not really wealthy but they are total brats. Want everything and are rude and uncaring. I also know people with lots of money who are generous and while they have a lot of money they are not over the top with it like a say Kardashian or some of the other fools we see on TV.

You can be given lot of money that doesn’t mean you are going to be horrible. Because you can be left with nothing and be a total douche.

Not necessarily here, but in other Rachel threads I always see comments about how she isn’t getting the roles that she deserves, her career should be better, etc. I’ve seen some of her movies and she’s at most a passable actress. Nothing special there. I think she’s a romcom type and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I love weird Al! I’m old enough to remember his spoofs of Michael Jackson and Madonna!

I really thought she was going to be the next big thing. While she’s done well in her profession, she didn’t become as big as I thought she would.

I don’t think it was a good idea to leave his partner with the responsibility and power to take care of the children. She might be a very decent person but there are no guarantees in life. She can change or marry the wrong person. At the very least, why not take the time to provide for the kids education through college and reasonable living expenses? Ensure they’re exposed to other cultures through travel and they understand the importance of staying fit and healthy. Provide every tool so that they can become adults who can provide for themselves.
