Not my style but cool shoes. I like her outfit–on her. Again, not something I would wear but she looks nice.

    • Dani2 says:

Love the outfit too and for once the shoes don’t kill the outfit for me 🙂

    • Decloo says:

She’s still wearing stripper shoes. Also, does she live next door to a restaurant supply store? We are always seeing a lot of junky stuff on the sidewalk when she exits her abode.

      • Liv says:

Come on, at least she’s not wearing plateaus. Gosh, I hate that trend so much!

      • FLORC says:

What about these lines over 80’s floral print? Ugh. That’s a trend that can fade out.

        Decloo
That’s just the sidewalk. Ever notice those entrance shots of celebs before they go on talk shows? Or just celebs walking on the street? You see all the gunk on the sidewalk that the camera and lighting picks up. It’s always gross.

      • Peasantswife says:

Oh my god! Those shoes! I love them! Well done Swifty…for a change.

      • Lex says:

Someone sounds pretty bitter (aka jealous)

      • Hibitta says:

LOL @ Lex I was thinking the same

    • emma says:

I actually kind of hate the shoes. They remind me of the shoes that would come with the Jem and the Hologram dolls in the late 80’s.

    • Selina says:

      100 PERCENT my style shoes!

      The dress ain’t bad, either.

  2. kcarp says:

It’s part of the Carrie Bradshaw fantasy she is living. She is probably call a boyfriend “Big,” and waiting for a boyfriend she has tons in common with break up with her on a post it.

    • Grant says:

      Except that Burger was awful.

      • FLORC says:

What?! No. He just wasn’t right for her. Confused and unsure. I always thought his character was 1 they tried to make look bad, but I never thought that. Carrie should have not clung so tightly.

  3. mia girl says:

    Rihanna,
    Chris Brown… again? REALLY?

    • Kim1 says:

A story from Lies and Style .There is no evidence of them hanging out.Lies and Style is using the fact Chris attended the Eminem/ Rihanna concert for their BS story.

    • FLORC says:

Even though the story is likely BS I would not be shocked.

How else are they suppose to solve world hunger and the energy crisis?

  4. Tiffany :) says:

I love those shoes. My inner child loves them too!

  5. paola says:

I really hate the way she carries her bag.

  6. Kiddo says:

Posting chips and dip at lunch hour is positively cruel. WANT all.

  7. Allie says:

Straight up Barbie fashion. I really think my Barbie had those shoes too.

    • don't kill me i'm french says:

      carrie bradshaw!

    • Ag says:

i’m pretty sure mine did, haha.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I had this dream as a kid, that my friend opened her closet and there were thousands of Crystal Barbie shoes (the kind that were clear pumps with silver glitter in them). My friend invited me to fill my pockets with as many Barbie shoes as I wanted! It was so heartbreaking to wake up and realize that it didn’t really happen.

I think that was a foreshadowing of my future shoes issues, lol. Barbie shoes started it all!

  8. Rhiley says:

Sad to learn that Usher’s greatest mistake, at least in his mind, isn’t unleashing Lil Swaggy Maple Leaf to the masses.

  9. bettyrose says:

I like the outfit/shoes but not on her build. Her legs are fab but it’s too much to also pair mini skirts with mega-heels. That’s a look for a less leggy woman. I’d love to see her figure paired with a funkier fashion sense, clunkier, less towering heels. Don’t hate me. I just feel like she’s gonna trip and it’ll be a long fall.

  10. QQ says:

The situation in St.Louis is just taking my concentration (and Breath!) away..it’s hard to fathom this is happening in the U.S in 2014… Kill a Kid of Color, Immediately Find ways to demonize him in any way possible, witnesses Holed up somewhere in fear of the Police, Anonymous stepping in and Twitter and instagram and the populace itself being the news account…is absolutely sickening

    • K says:

      I SO AGREE @QQ!

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I just can’t with the ignorant comments. This is just, what, a month after that NYC officer murdered an unarmed black man using an illegal chokehold?

      SMH

      • Kiddo says:

I can’t watch that video, it hits me in such a visceral way. DEAD For what? Selling cigarettes without the taxes? He WAS NOT resisting arrest that I saw. F*ckers.

      • QQ says:

Oh God! That was the absolute worst you guys!…and then i cannot even think of Mike Brown’s poor mother on the site so destroyed and still speaking truth to power like that!!… I tear up just thinking about that lady!….

The ONLY Heartening thing is to me seeing people coalesce, shinning a light on what is happening, protesting, not taking this shit lying down

      • Tiffany :) says:

The NYC killing was so terrible! I can’t believe a man was slowly strangled to death by the police on a public street and no one was able to save him. Just because he was committing a non-violent misdemeanor? The “crime” and the force are so incongruent, I can’t get over it.

      • Ag says:

i’ve been freaking crying listening to the news every morning. it’s f-ing 2014 – unreal. as a human being, but also a mom, i can’t imagine. hopefully the protesters will be treated better now that the state police has stepped in. and the cop who killed him needs to be federally prosecuted.

@lunchcoma – that also what i’ve heard about vets’ responses.

    • lunchcoma says:

Agreed, QQ. The reaction of the police in St. Louis seems more like a state-sponsored attempt to cover up a murder than anything having to do with crowd control.

      • Kiddo says:

More like a nonsensical military reaction. The enemy being the citizenry.

      • lunchcoma says:

The sad thing is, Kiddo, every veteran I know says that while the police in Ferguson are as or more heavily armed and armored than they were, that their tactics are vastly more aggressive than the crowd control techniques they used when they were deployed.

      • Kiddo says:

@lunchcoma, I was thinking their actions more mimicked some crazy war instead of ‘crowd control’. We’ve seen an increase in exposure of brutality cases, where police are treating citizens as an enemy rather than people they serve and are supposed to protect. I think this attitude stems from government. They don’t even pretend to represent us anymore.

      • mia girl says:

I don’t even know how to wrap my head around what is happening in St. Louis. WTF?

This has been a very depressing week indeed.

      • lunchcoma says:

Ah, yeah, Kiddo. I saw someone else describe it as Michael Bay’s vision of the military, and that sounds about right.

I’ve found it very depressing as well, mia, to the point where I made a point to seek out some positive local stories to remind me the world isn’t entirely horrible.

    • Tiffany :) says:

What really breaks my heart, is that he was simply WALKING DOWN THE STREET when the officer came along. Not beating someone, not robbing someone, not even destructing property. Walking down the street.

How in the hell is deadly force necessary when dealing with an unarmed person? Even with the whole supposed scenario of a struggle over the cop’s weapon, if the kid was running away and didn’t successfully get the gun from the officer, WHY shoot him?

      • Leaflet says:

I find this world to be very scary and dark at times. I hope for brighter days, less crime committed by cops and civilians and more love and respect for each other as humans and more respect for other life forms, such as, animals and our environment.

      • Tiffany :) says:

        I share in your hope.
        😀

      • Kiddo says:

And why are the police shooting rubber or wooden bullets at journalists? And why are they being arrested for doing their jobs?

      • Tiffany :) says:

I agree, Kiddo, that is really disturbing. The press is such a part of our freedom, as documenting abuse is so vital to a democracy and justice.

The crazy thing is that they were just sitting in a McD’s that had 4 other people in it, using the wifi. I can’t believe they were arrested for that. It is very telling that they were released without any kind of official charges.

    • K says:

Popping in again to agree with everyone here, this has gone too far.

    • Janet says:

Meantime, where was the mayor? Where was the chief of police? The cops were running amok and nobody was minding the store.

  11. K says:

I’m so appalled at what’s going on in Ferguson. 😧

  12. Leaflet says:

The shoes are nice. Not my style though. I’m not a 9″ heel girl. It’s not her fashion that I don’t like, I guess I not a fan of the fluffy hair. maybe, if she got a Brazilian blowout, it would show case her beautiful jawline. I believe it is her best facial feature.

  13. Tammy says:

She was doing her daily pap walk to the gym in those shoes. Who wears shiny silver shoes to the gym in the middle of the afternoon, in Manhattan? Taylor Swift of the only one, trust me. She may be living out her NYC, Sex In The City fantasy, but I really believe she doesn’t have a clue that this is not how people really live here.

    • Amanda says:

So true. I’ve visited NYC twice and never saw anyone wearing shoes like that ( except maybe a hooker on the street corner)

  14. Tiffany :) says:

I just read that Robin Williams wife said that he was in the early stages of Parkinson’s. Sigh.

  15. Janet says:

I have to admit that, while Taylor Swift works my last nerve, she has great style sense.
