It’s a big question as to how many nannies Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have for their brood of youngsters. Six kids for now – and Angie has admitted that they’ve hired “tutors” and artist-helper types, but how many nannies? According to Star Magazine’s cover story this week, the family has one less than they did last month.
According to a “source” that spoke exclusively to Star, Brad Pitt was getting too close to the nanny. They say “Brad was on the bed, rubbing the back of a pretty young nanny! Angie got so mad she slapped Brad and fired the girl on the spot!” And in the twins’ bedroom, no less! Star has more:
At the Oscars they looked like the picture of perfection but days later Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had their nastiest blowup yet — which ended with a stinging slap and Brad racing away on his motorcycle.
In the March 23 issue of Star — on sale now! — we exclusively report that Angelina flew into a jealous rage when she walked past the open bedroom door of 8-month-old twins, Knox and Vivienne — and didn’t like what she saw!.
And it’s not surprising, for Brad was on the bed, rubbing the back of a pretty young nanny! Angie got so mad she slapped Brad and fired the girl on the spot!
“She completely flipped out,” says the insider. “She got right in Brad’s face, screaming at the top of her lungs, and told the nanny to get out of her house and never come back!”
The explosive argument woke up the sleeping twins, who began to cry. As Brad tried to console both the twins and the nanny, Angie just snapped — and slapped! — hitting him right across the face.
“He was stunned,” reveals the insider.

Does anyone really think Brad was bangin’ the nanny? I don’t. But I will buy that Angelina has probably slapped Brad in the past, just to keep him in line. Or for sex, who knows? Brad probably likes it.
This is what I think happened: Star got their hands on a picture of Brad sitting on his motorcycle, perhaps with a red face. Viola! Star probably just built the story around that one picture. Or maybe it’s all the truth! Cue dramatic music.

There were lots of photos of Brad on his motorcycle recently.
It’s possible that Brad could have rubbed the nanny’s shoulders and AJ had issues with that, but the truth is probably not nearly as dramatic as Star’s imagination. Star is pretty good at finding things out, though.

hmmmm: We’re not concerned about whether or not Brad porked the nanny. It’s the slap-him-to-keep-him-in-line “joke” that we find odd, especially in light of the (totally justified) outrage that’s been hurled at Chris Brown on this site.

We pretty much know that Chris Brown did way more than slap Rihanna and caused extreme bodily harm.
The bit about slapping Brad to keep him in line seems like a joke because the story seems so incredibly wrong.
Had there been a picture of him with like, a bloody nose or something, there would be no jokes about it. But he looks fine so it’s no biggie. There is such a thing as jokes in context.

hmmmm: You’re right, there is such a thing as taking a joke in context. So why was Jeffrey Dean Morgan crucified for a seemingly harmless comment about filming a rape scene for Watchmen? He didn’t condone or glorify the act of rape, he was simply answering a reporter’s question about filming the scene, and trying to inject a little humor. But Kaiser et al laid into him quite harshly. I’m not saying their reaction was right or wrong, I just don’t understand why those who question a joke about Angie slapping Brad to “keep him in line” are dismissed as being overly critical by many of the same people who jumped on JDM.

For me it seems implausible for any couple to be regularly physically beating each other up because it isn’t “normal” behavior to do so. That’s why I find it implausible. I don’t like these two in the slightest but I think it’s weird to think that she’d slap him for rubbing some lady’s shoulders.
Beside that, I had no idea about this Jeffery Dean fellow or what he said. Rape is a tricky subject in general and there really is no context in which a rape joke is funny. Rape, to me, is never funny. The only context where I could see it being almost funny is if someone were making a joke about someone who likes rape-fantasy sex play and even then it’d be hard to get away with it.
Of course, this is all just in my personal opinion.

This sounds like crap, but I would find it absolutely HILARIOUS if it were true. Karma and all that. Too bad there’s children that would be involved. You know that they can’t split up. The media and the world in general would eat them alive.

I read on someone’s comment that she would never hire a nanny that would be attractive. That was my first thought when I read this story! Everyone knows she doesn’t have any girlfriends so she obviously has a problem with women in general and to hire a nanny that actually looked decent, don’t see it! I call complete BS on this story. Angelina is very insecure, and threatened by other women, so I assume as others, that the nanny was not nearly attractive.
I assume Angelina did have another tantrum, and that she might be irrationally jealous.
She was cheated by Billy Bob Thornton, so even if Brad would just be nice “too much” to one of the assistants, Angie’s insecurities might cause her to flip out.
