Even though I personally think there are probably some issues within the Gwyneth Paltrow-Chris Martin marriage, this new “scandal” seems a bit non-existent. The Daily Mail is reporting that due to scheduling conflicts, Gwyneth and Chris won’t be spending a lot of time together for a while. Gwyneth is either already in Los Angeles to begin filming Iron Man 2, or she will be there shortly. Chris is set to go on Coldplay’s world tour. The Daily Mail has more:
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s somewhat unconventional marriage has long been the subject of speculation. The couple never talk about each other and are rarely seen in public together.
Now Gwyneth is moving to LA without her husband to work on her latest movie.
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow will live apart due to clashing work schedules; While he was performing in Sydney today she was eating out in London.
The 36-year-old will live in Hollywood for a month with the couple’s children Apple, four, and Moses, two, while Chris tours New Zealand, Asia and Dubai with Coldplay.
‘Gwyneth flew to LA on Friday to begin filming Iron Man 2,’ says my mole. ‘Although it is a simple case of schedule conflict, she and Chris are unlikely to see each other for several weeks.

The Daily Mail is billing this as some kind of sign the marriage is in trouble, but it seems like this is how their marriage has always been. They’ve always seemed like a couple that lives pretty much separate lives. Gwyneth goes off and films her movies, and Chris goes off and does Coldplay stuff. Perhaps people are taking this schedule conflict so seriously because of the many rumors of existing problems in The Goop’s marriage. Chris is rumored to hate The Goop (the website, that is), while Gwyneth is seeing how much “fun” she could have as a single girl by watching her friend Madonna.

I think if you love each other you will put your marriage before work. These two just meet up whenever they have a spare weekend, it seems, they’re too busy with their careers that involve travelling and living away from each other. I’m purposely not looking for work away from where I live because I want to live with my boyfriend… he’s more important.

Some couples work best when they can be apart. It seems really odd I know. But maybe this is how they make their marriage work.

i think chris is self -centered he teases her in public and makes her feel unappreciated and like an idiot, goes to show what sort of attitude he has.
