After an extremely brief 13-month marriage to Dita Von Teese, Marilyn Manson rather unceremoniously took up with 19-year-old Evan Rachel Wood in either late 2006 or early 2007, depending on whether people believe that Evan and Marilyn had an affair (I do). Evan and Marilyn had a tumultuous relationship, going on and off several times. She allegedly dumped Marilyn for good last year, though the two are reportedly still friends.
Dita has always seemed happy enough to talk about her relationship with Marilyn, but she’s usually done it in a somewhat classy way. She doesn’t play the victim, she doesn’t whine, and she takes responsibility for her part in the marriage’s failure. This is one of the reasons I love her so much. Anyway, she’s given a new interview, and she claims that Marilyn has been calling and trying to get back with her for a while. Dita’s not having any of it, though. Probably because she’s got men in different area codes, just waiting on her booty calls:

Manson and Von Teese married in November 2005 but the sexy star filed for divorce a year later, citing irreconcilable differences.
And since the split, the goth rocker has phoned his former spouse repeatedly to apologise for their failed marriage – but the 36 year old has been too lucky in love to consider reuniting with her ex.
Von Teese explains, “He’s been in touch a little. The apologies come, and he was like, ‘I made a big mistake’. And I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I know. Go ahead and say what you need to say to feel better and to sleep at night.’ “Right now I’ve got three (men). They’re all in different parts of the world… That’s my biggest sin – juggling men.”

I really like how “over it” Dita is with the whole Marilyn Manson situation. She’s a really cool girl, and there probably are a lot of men who would love to be her booty call. I will maintain my previous opinion that Dita and George Clooney would be a match made in heaven. What’s it gonna take for Clooney to call her?

No you don’t. Juggling several men is a pain in the ass. You have to like, keep names straight, keep their friends straight. It’s a mess.

Dita is the coolest. And drop-dead gorgeous to boot. Impeccable. You juggle that man-candy, girl.
Does she do her own makeup? I like it and all but does she always have to look so made up? I get that she’s trying to convey a ‘look’ but can’t it vary more?
Anyway, she does seem very classy and sexy, which is tough to pull off.
It looks like her uterus is showing through that dress–fallopian tubes and all.
She is absolutely gorgeous and I love that old Hollywood glamour look. I love the necklace. The dress is great too except for that bow over the goodies. It looks a little, “X-marks the spot, boys, come and get it”. Normally for public appearance she looks much more mature for that.
She does her own hair and makeup (she’s a fan of MAC and was one of their Viva Glam spokepersons)and the one time I saw her without makeup, she actually was really pretty. Freckles and all.

Her makeup does look a bit waxy in some of those pics. However – I do so covet that necklace (I’d be more than happy with a crystal version). And I love the dress – bow and all.
I noticed the necklace too! You know it’s a serious piece of jewelry when so many people are drooling over it! I adore it. I wish I could be more like her and take better care of my appearance. It just takes too much work for me.
You know, I think it’s funny how Evan tried so hard to be like Dita. It’s like Marilyn knew he couldn’t get better so he tried to turn his new girlfriend into his old wife.

Meh. I don’t know that it makes her a little off. I don’t particularly like MM. I have seen him in interviews a few times and he seems like a relatively intelligent guy.
We all probably have one or two people in our past who we might have thought we could change, buff out the rough edges but it didn’t work out.

Sounds like he made a lot of excuses in their marriage, and then some more out, and she called time on that crap when she divorced him, so he can say whatever when he phones.
She got the measure of the man and he fell way short. I understand why she wouldn’t want to go back. I doubt he’s changed, or ever will – and I can say that from a pretty healthy distance – just look at his behaviour.
Dita and Clooney? I don’t think so. He seems too immature for her. I think she was pretty much over that with Manson.
I don’t know, if you got to juggle Dita with other women and she, you with other men, what’s the problem with admitting it? Depends what kind of person you are and what your personality is. I respect her honesty, and tend to believe her.
