Kanye West spoiled Kim Kardashian with a room full of roses for Mother’s Day

kim2

Here are some photos from Kim Kardashian’s Instagram from the past few days. Apparently, she and Kanye were apart for Mother’s Day on Sunday, because she was scheduled to make some appearances in Brazil yesterday. The black dress she’s wearing… that’s actually from her Kardashian Klothing line. It’s nice, right? It’s better than most of the designer stuff she’s been wearing lately. Apparently, Kim has been complaining about her body lately. On a recent episode of KUWTK, Kim said that she considers herself 20 pounds overweight and that she can’t ever go without Spanx. Huh. I honestly don’t see it. She’s always going to be thick in her booty, hips and thighs. That’s just her body type. I kind of think she looks fine.

As for Kim’s solo Mother’s Day, apparently Kanye went out of his way to make Kim’s Brazil trip a wonderful experience. Kim posted a photo of a hotel room full of white roses, and wrote:

“I got to my room in Brazil and my amazing thoughtful husband had the sweetest note with a couple thousand roses covering my entire suite for Mothers Day! I’m so sad I’m so far away on this day but happy we celebrated yesterday! I love you baby & North soooo much!!!”

Then when she went out to eat, this is what happened:

So I get to a restaurant in São Paulo & my husband had a string quartet waiting playing Sam Smith!!!!! Every single waiter who brought food said “This is from Mr. West for the best mother in the world”! Seriously I have the best husband ever!!!!

That really is sweet. Incidentally, Kanye was at a Chicago Bulls game over the weekend and this happened and IT IS THE BEST THING EVER.

    Overkill.

    • susannej says:

… and wasn’t “Mothers Day” something about Children and their Mom? Something about Bonding with your Kid?

      North wasn’t with her, right?

But spending enough money makes everything alrighty. Ok.

      • swack says:

No she wasn’t with her and apparently Kim noted how “sad it was that she wasn’t with her on Mother’s Day”

      • EBeth says:

Her kid wasn’t there? Riiiight okay Kim you walk slowly away from “Motherhood.” We will forgive you.

    • Mel M says:

Yeah, I just don’t get the point of it. Does she roll around in them? Does she eat them? What is so awesome about a crap ton of roses?

      • EBeth says:

Allergies and an excuse for a new nose.

      • Michelle says:

@Mel M – I fully agree about the flowers, but what was more disturbing to me is the fact that the servers had to refer to her as “the best mother in the world” every time they delivered anything to the table. Kaiser is a huge Kanye apologist and I know there are a lot of them out there, but everything he does is always overkill and generally involves insulting or demeaning at least one person. For this reason, I just can’t personally find any redeeming qualities in Kanye.

I think it is ridiculous that these 2 need this much grandeur involved in their lives to be happy with one another. What would happen if Kanye didn’t shower her with lavish (completely ridiculous) gestures? Probably a divorce.

      • flaca says:

In a site that tries to look smart and critical about certain things, I don’t get the daily posts about this useless, horrible people…I know they are somehow relevant in the celebrity world, but that’s just about it. Most of my friends (who don’t visit these sites like me, haha), don’t know anything about these people. Kanye West said in an interview that Tyga “got there early” referring to his (Tyga’s) relationship with not only a minor, but Kanye’s sister-in law. That is beyond disturbing and awful and only for that, anything Kanye says or does should have been boycotted in any site that respects women and is concern about the rape culture. As if that was not enough, he slut shamed Amber Rose also in a public interview. This guy is disgusting and I feel we should stop glorifying him or justifying him in any way (sorry for the grammar, Spanish speaking person 🙂

    • Spaniard89 says:

Yes but if she got that imagine how many flowers North’s nanny must have gotten! Lol

  2. Susan says:

Throws hands in air, never want to hear about these people again in this or any future lifetime…..

  3. Nicole says:

Frankly I think this is the best she’s ever looked.

    • PinaColada says:

I agree. I honesty didn’t know she still had this in her. So much fug for so long.

    • Mia V. says:

It makes me wanna buy it.

    • Judyk says:

Sick of this entire family, but she does look great here.

      • ISO says:

Just watched a documentary on “pump parties” that involve unlicensed injections for Pinocchio Butts in particular. It’s really disturbing how this trend is causing deformities at best, death in some cases. I wonder if the Kardashian klan ever thinks about the legacy it’s left our culture.

    • Elisa the I. says:

I first thought these must me old pics. She looks great, love her hair (even if it’s fake)…

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Yes if only she would dress like this more often.

  4. Kitten says:

Holy sh*t she’s actually wearing something that fits and flatters her figure.
    The end is nigh!!!

  5. Mona says:

Sorry but that room full of white roses reminds me of a funeral……

    • PunkyMomma says:

White roses are a gesture of sympathy here in the States.

      • boredblond says:

I love white roses!! If someone gave me red or (yikes) yellow flowers, it would mean they didn’t know me well enough to send me a gift. To each their own.

      • EBeth says:

My florist for my wedding told my no rose is truly white. If they are, they are bleached. Bleached roses to go with her hair. Nice. Personally, it is purple roses all the way. Never red. Anything but red.

    • Tough Cookie says:

That was my first thought!!! And I love roses, all roses, but something about the way these arranged….
But I do love the dress. Although I did think she was wearing a fanny pack (ha!) or something until I realized that’s just her a$$
She wasn’t with her child on Mother’s Day? That’s sad. I realize North is only a baby but still…

  6. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

    What a meaningless, wasteful gesture.

    • Snazzy says:

Right? I mean I really love flowers, but a bouquet is quite enough, filling a room is stupid. And no white ones please, I am not dead yet

      • Chrissy says:

Exactly. He should have just added the white lilies and the funeral theme would be complete. Also, Kim is “the best mother in the world”? What a joke. Poor Nori…she has more of a relationship with her nannies than with this narcissistic plastic Barbie. Never mind her rageaholic, delusional father.

      • Anna says:

@Chrissy even after all these months you’re still on the “Nori isn’t even close to Kim” vibe????? Lmao take off your “I hate Kim and Kanye” glasses and realize that Nori clearly adores her parents. Look at some pictures and videos.

      • Chrissy says:

Well Anna, I am still entitled to my opinion and in my opinion, Nori sure has crappy parents. There are many more photos of North seeming abnormally detached from her parents rather than “adoring” them and vice versa. What photos have you been looking at? Or are you on the payroll?

      • TeaAndSympathy says:

I agree with you, Chrissy. In every photo I’ve seen of KK, KW and North, KK seems to see it as yet another opportunity to make it about her. I don’t have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc., so don’t see what she posts there, but looking at photos where the family (or just KK with North) is out and about, poor North seems to be an afterthought. Even when KK is holding her daughter, she never smiles at her. I find that very odd. Go through anyone’s albums and see mums and dads smile at their children, or engage with them in some other way – a gentle kiss, a loving gaze… There’s never any of that with Kim – nothing candid. It’s just the usual pasted-on, frozen, trout pout, sex bomb, blow-up doll look she always has ready for any camera. I’ve even seen her gazing into the camera and trying to pass it off as a special mother-daughter moment. Look at the way other people – celebs included – interact with their kids, regardless of age…there’s no comparison.

    • OriginalTessa says:

One stunning mixed arrangement of beautiful special flowers would have been so much better than a bunch of sloppily arranged white roses.

      • EBeth says:

        This.

      • fun factor says:

You can pay [big bucks] to have a rose grower name a rose for whomever you want. Kanye could have made a magnificent gesture by doing that–NOT that I’d ever want an innocent rose desecrated by Kim’s name. Kanye should have a rose named after his mom, though. Years ago I read that for $25,000, David Austin in England would let you name a rose. That’s why one of his gorgeous roses was named Fisherman’s Friend, after a cough drop!

      • TeaAndSympathy says:

So true, Original Teresa. My son runs his own small business. At Christmas, he sends some clients the most beautiful flower arrangements. His sister and I have also been lucky recipients of these arrangements, made by a local girl that he and his gf went to primary school with. She uses these really big, ribbed glass jars filled with the most amazing blooms and greenery – masses of mauve cabbage roses, for example. Then she decorates the vase with pretty, translucent ribbon and makes beaded decorations on fine wire to finish off. They’re nothing like you’d find in a florist shop. Very unique. There’s no structure – she’s says she’s hopeless at structure – but each one is a work of art. I wish we could post photos on here…

  7. lassie says:

Even the flowers can’t have color. What a monochromatic life.

  8. Mel M says:

I saw that video on Instagram over the weekend with the caption “they almost caught Kanye having a good time” hilarious!

  9. Evelyn says:

When I see that video of kanye I just think, “nobody catches me smiling my own smile. NOBODY!”

  10. Jayna says:

I don’t get having your assistant order a massive roomful of roses for your wife as romantic. I agree with others, overkill, looks like a funeral parlor or at a funeral, on and on. I can think of really thoughtful things done for me as far more romantic and very meaningful insofar as what he knows means so much to me, and it’s the small gestures, not some room packed with roses

The photo I saw of her alone at the table with the quartet is such a set-up photo. There’s other place settings there. Were they asked to get up so they weren’t in the photo? It’s not romantic when a Kardashian is then orchestrating how to do the best photo to release to her peasanty fans to drool over and envy. Not really in the moment and instead all about the perfect photo for the world to see.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

You are right Jayna. Let me share something from my life that makes the point. Around 22 or 23 years ago, my husband was having an affair, and I received roses, other flowers, jewelry, etc. on a regular basis. Fast forward to today, and my husband cooked a meal and cleaned up afterwards for Mother’s day, paying for the food, and did everything. Which gesture do you think means more? Anybody (with money enough) can order a bunch of flowers. But the acts of serving others, and being there for you means so much more. Not that I turn my nose up at flowers or jewelry you understand, LOL, but you get my point.

  11. swack says:

There were also stories that he was booed at the game (not sure if it’s true or not). Can we discuss the honorary doctorate he also got? Me, I don’t like roses. I’d rather get other flowers and on days that you’re not expected to get flowers. Everything is over the top and me thinks it’s all for show.

  12. Tigriski says:

Yup. Last Valentines Kanye bought her 1000 red roses but Jordin Sparks got 10000 roses from her bf at the time. You know Kim couldn’t stand to be outdone again.

  13. suzanne says:

Boring AND wasteful…perfect for these two!!

  14. Nicolette says:

Looks like a wake which is fitting because Kanye “killed off” whatever speck of Kim that was left after PMK’s years of work. Now all that’s left is an empty plastic dead eyed shell.

  15. nikki says:

Serious question here–I don’t have Facebook or Twitter or anything like that. I don’t see the need to…but do people actually post stuff like this on a regular basis? Saying how much they “love” their husband/wife because they bought them jewelry or flowers or something? That’s gotta be exhausting…why can’t you just keep it to yourself? Or take a pic and send it to one or two close friends?

    • Chrissy says:

These people are allergic to privacy, you know.

      • nikki says:

I guess you’re right…but still…that’s gotta be exhausting trying to convince the world that you’re “happy” in a superficial way.

    • FingerBinger says:

Yes people do post these acts of love on twitter and facebook. They also post about every thing theIr genius children do.

    • swack says:

I have found that most of the time people put things up like this for their loved one, something is wrong in the relationship. I post pics of the grandchildren but mostly when we go somewhere or when they do something funny but not when they are doing their “accomplishments”.

    • Judyk says:

I value my privacy so much…I am so with you on this and am not on Twitter or Facebook either and never will be.

    • Jayna says:

I don’t either. But there are people that post a blow-by-blow timeline of their day just to show how amazing they are. My sister told me about a co-worker, which they are both self-employed, so can vary as to the money each makes and types of jobs they get. The woman is posting: Woke up at six, went on a five-mile run, did 100 push-ups, aet two egg whites and toast, went to such and such a job and came home and put out a deadline by eight, I just love my job, it’s so challenging, and then I went to dinner and came home and ran a mile, blah, blah.

      Narcissism at its best.

      • boredblond says:

Yeah..I wanna see one who sez ‘hit the snooze button twice, drank some tea, considered starting long overdue house cleaning or tending weedy garden..but pulled a Scarlet..fiddle dee dee..I’ll worry about it tomorrow’ oh wait, that’s me…

      • Susan says:

I read an article somewhere about how you can tell if a person is narcissistic based on their FB posts. Generally heavy social media and narcissism go hand and hand….

    • TeaAndSympathy says:

I don’t have any of those, either, Nikki, and never will, but have often wondered the same thing. As Chrissy said, some people (like these) are allergic to privacy. It would be exhausting trying to convince the world of how much you’re loved, what a great life you have, how much you love him/her… Why do they do that? Is everything really that wonderful that they just can’t shut up about it? Is something lacking, or is it an “up yours” to everyone else? Imagine the time it would take to postpostpost all day long! Reading all that malarkey would be the most exhausting.

  16. snowflake says:

gah, that fake hair looks exactly that, fake! her shorter hairstyle looked sooo much better. is that cheek implants or fillers/ and yes, it looks like she got a butt fillup again. kim, honey, if you wanna lose 20 pounds, just take all that stuffing outta yer a$$. i take it she’s not going for the natural look

  17. Diana B says:

She looks fine from the front but from behind she looks deformed. Thas @ss it’s so out of balance is absurd.

  18. Dragonlady Sakura says:

She looks nice here, but one good outfit doesn’t make up for the 364 days of the year she looks like crap.

  19. Prissa says:

@SWACK I would like to discuss his honorary doctorate too. I saw that on Kim’s Instagram and wondered if it was real. I thought a person had to have a Masters before they could get a PHD. Even an honorary one. If I’m not mistaken Kanye doesn’t even have a Bachelors degree so it doesn’t make sense to me. I guess that’s what being rich can get you. 👎😕

    • swack says:

I saw it on DM. I guess it really gets to me when any celeb like this gets an honorary degree (especially a doctorate). I know many people who have truly gotten a doctorate and it is no easy accomplishment. I never did as it wasn’t worth putting out the money for what I got in return – I was a teacher in high school and it really didn’t mean anything – respect wise or monetarily. It came from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. When I went to the website to see what type of doctorate degrees they offer – they don’t. The highest degree you get there is a masters degree. So not sure how relevant this degree is.

      • prissa says:

@swack thanks for the info. If the school doesn’t have a doctorate program, wonder how that works since it’s being reported that it was a doctorate. Those honorary degrees for celebrities irk my nerves, especially at the doctorate level! It is so insulting to all those who have genuinely earned it since he doesn’t even have a Bachelors. I guess the entire world will continue to stroke Kanye’s massive ego. SMH

      • Michelle says:

@swack – 100% agree with you about celebs getting honorary degrees. What a joke! The rest of us actually have to work for it while these morons hand them off to famous people. For what?! Doctorates take so much time and dedication. It really is a slap in the face to the rest of the world that actually puts in the time and money.

    • Tdub30 says:

If it’s AI of Chicago, perhaps it’s something related to music production/engineering, etc., at which point it would be fair to say he might be qualified for that. Now if he got a doctorate from Harvard or Univ of Chicago, that would/could be problematic.

  20. Naddie says:

She was here, and to get things worse, she has fans here. One squeaking fangirl was saying how much “she’s perfect”. I wonder what’s inside the head of someone who says this.

    • darkfaith says:

Absolutely nothing thats what’s in her head Kim is a bad example to girls her fame tells young women see come make a sex tape you can be rich famous and loved, but if you are a woman who uses fame for good you are labeled an angry man hating feminist.

  21. Dr.Funkenstein says:

Well, speaking on behalf of academics everywhere, the idea of that idiot claiming to have a “doctorate”, honorary or not, is repugnant.

  22. Dana says:

Kanye smiling is hilarious. Kim’s butt looks so grotesque. It’s so obviously fake. She’d look a lot better (and her clothes would fit better) if she hadn’t gotten all of those injections.

  23. Jayna says:

I see she has on some type of uplifting spanx and one of those straps they put under their butt cheeks to lift it up, kind of like an underwire bra does for boobs. Her buns are way more dumpy and wide than in that dress. So definitely some undergarment work going on underneath to bring it in and up for a pert look.

  24. Sue says:

So when she leaves Brazil the roses go to the trash? Give me jewelry any day!!

  25. Chibichchai says:

Does anyone else think one of her appearances in Brazil involved a plastic surgeon specializing in butt lifts? Watch her rear be less dumpy in the future.

  26. Susan says:

I would think their life would be exhausting….. Spanx and spackle…

  27. Tdub30 says:

She is twenty pounds overweight and it is crazy to try and claim she’s always looked like this and that this is just her body. She’s lazy and ridiculous and all of the fat transfers into her butt have ruined her figure forever more. She needs to stop relying on a surgeon and get her ass (literally and figuratively) to some exercise.

  28. EBeth says:

I slept. All freaking day and then ate Mexican food and slept some more. Screw your flowers. I want my sleep! Oh and I used my husbands credit card to buy me a necklace that will be here in a week, while he is out of town. I might have bought some other wine induced things but I do love surprises in the mail. Now to go clean up the kids room and play room.

  29. alicegrey12 says:

What a tacky gesture. What did he do buy Brazil’s whole flower crop. UGH, UGH, and double UGH.

  30. Vava says:

The deal is, they all live to publicize everything they do. It’s all a big show. Sweet gestures of love are best when they aren’t broadcast all over the internet.

As for Kim’s body, I’m surprised she hasn’t done something about that rear end of hers – it wasn’t ALWAYS that big. I don’t find her attractive at all and she’s getting more plastic with each day.

  31. Ange says:

I’m sure he’s done the flowers thing for her before – dude doesn’t even vary the playbook. How is that actually thoughtful?
