Kylie and Kendall Jenner made quite the splash at last night’s ESPYs. Kylie made a point to post a photo of their butts on Instagram because, well, I don’t know why. Let’s talk fashion instead. Kendall wore an Alexandre Valtheir couture dress that looked great on her body, despite all the sheer peekaboo panels that could have resulted in a wardrobe malfunction. Kendall works the gown just like the runaway version because she’s so tall and statuesque. I’d like to see her go for a different hairstyle sometime. She always favors stick-straight locks, which is her go-to look, but mixing it up would be fun.
Kylie covered up in a full-length, gold Shady Zeineldine gown that resembled an Oscar statuette. The body-hugging effect of this dress was evident, and Kylie knew what she was doing. I can’t imagine wearing something so constraining for an entire evening, especially in July, but LA isn’t as hot as the rest of the country. I think Kylie looks too mature in this dress, but her parents have treated her as an adult for years. So this is more of the same. Nothing about the Kardashian Klan is realistic, but young girls look up to Kendall and Kylie. Teens have emulated Kylie to disasterous effect. Kendall is technically an adult, but they both grew up so fast.

My 15 year daughter and her besties all think these two along with the whole Kartrashian clan are a waste of breath. They all believe that less is more and the motto of ‘if it ain’t for sale, don’t put it in the window’. I must be doing something right…

@Michelle: No offense to you or your daughters, I’m sure you weren’t a bad parent at all, but I don’t think internalized victim-blaming or slut-shaming attitudes in teenagers are any more worthy of praise than underage Kylie Jenner’s fake lips. Feeling more comfortable in conservative clothing and not feeling the need to dress super-sexy against your wishes for someone else is totally fine and healthy, but I hope they don’t buy into the “it’s natural for a man to touch anything he sees’ myth or the ‘a woman should only show what she’s willing to give/sell” myth, because those attitudes aren’t any healthier than Kylie’s.
I don’t know any teens that look up to reality stars. My sister is 17 and ocasionally watches KUWTK for fun and she thinks they’re all idiots.

Testify. Okay, in a moment of weakness I actually watched KUWTK last night. . .omg, such trite, trivial, not entertaining, and yes, dumb people. That is all. *shuffles off in shame*
I’m glad my daughter is out of HS now. I know one thing, she would NEVER step foot out the front door of our house wearing *anything* that Marla Hooch has been seen wearing, including this dress. But then again I’ve actually RAISED my daughter, and she wouldn’t wear any of that crap. She has more class and respect for herself and her body.
No offense to your daughters, I’m sure they’re good people, but in general, just because a person rejects modesty doesn’t mean they lack respect for body and self any more than accepting modesty means they automatically do. We are all worth so much more as human beings than how much of our bodies and sexualities we choose to keep preserved for a future husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, or lover. Peace.

As for Kendall…maybe the effect is lost on my small screen but I’m unimpressed. Props on her subtle lip plumping though, apparently she didn’t quite want the balloon effect Kylie has.
If Kendall wasn’t so try hard, she’d be pretty. But heaven forbid she attend an event, and not dress trashy. Both girls are way too orange for it to be natural.
I don’t care for either gown, they are both too attention grabbing on an evening that was intended to highlight their parent. It had to have been a difficult night for both of them, but anyone with a sliver of good taste would have opted for something less revealing and/or glitzy.
Can I decide I hate both looks? If anything, Kendal pulls hers off. I mean, girl does have that model quality. I can see why she keeps getting contracts and jobs.
I don’t see any model quality in Kendall. She does the same boring and vapid expression in all photots. I get someone like Cara D, who at least in pictures looks interesting.
Out of all the Kardashians and Jenners, Kylie has by far the best body. If she dressed better and stopped with the heavy makeup, she’d be the prettiest out of them, easily.
Kylie went through a complete renovation of her figure with implants, fat transfers and but injections. I prefer Kendall who hasn’t seemed to cave into the pressure to inflate herself.
Even if she did, her body still looks the best. I would be fine with it if she wasn’t so young.
Kendall did fix things on her face, though.
It’s unnecessarily sexual to call that picture “a picture of their butts”, especially considering that Kylie is a child. It’s a full length shot of their gowns, taken from behind, and she didn’t make any special point of it – she posted several pictures of herself from the event. Caitlyn wasn’t in any of them, though, which is weird.
That’s what it was though. Kylie is notorious for posting pictures of herself from strategic angles highlighting their “assets.”
That would be true if it wasn’t for the fact kylie loves to post photos on her Instagram of her butt…her boobs….her lips…..So yes that photos purpose was to show off her a$$. This 17year old has been acting overly sexualized for a long time. Sad.
We really can’t call Kylie a child anymore when she owns her house and lives with her 26 year old father of one. She quit being a child the day she started getting her butt filled, her lips filled and her new set of boobs. I feel extremely sorry for her because one day she will realize what she threw away to be with that loser TY-GA. Shame on Bruce and Kris for letting her go down this path. They are her parents and could have stopped it all had they wanted to.

And Kylie changed before the show. That gown was just for the red carpet. LOL! Caitlyn didn’t walk the carpet. She waited to make her grand entrance.
Isn’t it odd that Bruce always hated the cameras but Caitlyn loves them. She finally has something in common with the Kardashians ! I remember the days when Bruce use to give the paps the middle finger…now she poses for them !

Kylie’s dress is better, and looks nice on her, but maybe too much for the occasion. Kendall’s dress is ridiculous. Neither of them looks happy to be there.

Kendall is very pretty but this dress is completely inappropriate – she was there to honor her father and she decided that the dress with more sheer panels than fabric is just perfect for the occasion? That’s the result of their upbringing.
I remember when the Kim K lip was all the rage. Mac stripdown with angel and NARS Turkish delight. Now it’s the Kylie lip.

I understand the confusion, so to make it clear – Caitlyn identifies as a woman, but remains their dad. She said on Twitter herself that her children can always call her dad. Also, the children were conceived from her (then-Bruce’s) sperm and were raised knowing her as a father figure, and it won’t ever change. Same with her athletic accomplishments – it won’t automatically make her a former women’s decathlon champion (it didn’t even exist back then) or female Olympic gold medalist, because she won her medals as a man.
I’m picturing Chandler and Monica in Vegas at the club where Chandlers Dad is host and headlines a drag show. Chandler stuttering when he says. ” d-d-d-dad”. Lmao

I truly believe that the media is the one with the obsession over these freaks. I’ve yet to meet one person who has actually seen the show. Even fewer I know have ever heard of them. Too bad the media has push their trashy icons onto the rest of us.

Ugh neither look great? Kylie’s butt seems to be sticking out further from the side all of a sudden. Kendall looks more natural to me. Kylie looks like a 30 year old which would be great if she was 30! The older girls don’t look that great any more. Even with all the artificial stuff. Like somebody said above the media are the ones pushing them down our throats. They wouldn’t show up anywhere if it was by popular demand.
I don’t care for Kylie’s dress, but I like Kendall’s.
