Would you like to see more gorgeous photos from Guy Ritchie’s wedding?

guy3

Last Thursday, Guy Ritchie married his girlfriend/fiancee of five years, Jacqui Ainsley. I covered the first photos here. The wedding was held on Guy’s big, beautiful English estate (the estate he got in the divorce from Madonna). Guy and Jacqui invited all of the big cool friends to enjoy what turned out to be a four-day weekend full of celebrations. Guy had private tents and yurts put up for all of the guests and he even hosted a private screening of his new movie, The Man From UNCLE. Considering both Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill (the two stars) were at the wedding, I imagine that was especially nice for everybody. Guy also received a special Man-from-UNCLE-themed wedding gift: a $12,000 hand-painted poster. Page Six says that Brad Pitt “loved it.”

Anyway, on Monday, Guy posted a slew of new wedding photos on his Instagram – go here to see. I’m including many shots here. I wasn’t crazy about Jacqui’s Phillipa Lepley gown last week, but as I see more photos of it and how it moved… it wasn’t bad at all. I applaud her for NOT going strapless. She really was a gorgeous bride too – I’m in love with the way she wore her flower wreath.

I’m enjoying the photos of all of Guy’s kids together too. Rocco is so big!! He’s 15 years old now and he looks just like… a young Sean Penn. It’s crazy. David Banda is eight years old now and it’s nice to see him at the wedding too. The three young blonde children are Guy’s kids with Jacqui – she just had babies right after the other. They are, in order:Rafael (born September 2011) daughter Rivka and the youngest, son Levi.

Yes yes yes yes for the flower wreath. Such a stunning, bohemian bride. When and if I get married, that’s exactly how I’d like my hair to look, but maybe with some tighter curls. But heck yes, I would like to see more of these photos.

  2. minx says:

    Why, yes! Yes, I would.

  3. Mia4S says:

I have to say that wedding looked really fun. I would have attended but I was in Cabo on my yacht. 😉

    Sigh…not jealous.

  4. Jem says:

    Somewhere Madonna is seething

    • LadyJane says:

      “I absolutely loathe hydrangeas”

    • fee says:

She’s busy praying to her god Satan, the crap that comes out of her mouth, ugh…. I don’t get why she wears a cross when she is not even a christian. When she was married to Guy, she had Rocco baptized, but the rest assured f the kids, Nada. I am for freedom of religion, any religion, peace and love, but sheis a hypocrite when she has been photographed with her satanic signs in her music videos…bravo for Guy getting out.
Hmmmm….totally left the topic, sorry, yeah, bride looked beautiful

@Fee: well aren’t you breath of fresh air. In the interests of diversity I for one would like to see more religious ranting on this site.

      • FLORC says:

        I second that MNDropper!
This site has really been lacking in an offbalanced religious angle.

        Fee
Witchcraft and satanic anything are not even in the same universe. And that symbol means several contradicting things. Picked here and there for negative association.
And last I knew you can wear a cross and not have it represent a christian faith.

  5. Micki says:

I imagine it took a lot of thought and careful planning but it looks so effortless…I like their wedding.
Ah, one thing though. The hydrangeas in the first pic.- are the greetings to Marge?

  6. Norman Bates' Mother says:

I absolutely love all the flowers – the wreath, the bouquet and the ones in the background of the first picture. Her veil was lovely as well. Very gorgeous setting for a wedding.

  7. Tiffany27 says:

If you glance really quickly, Guy Ritchie kinda looks like Charlie Hunnam.

  8. lisa2 says:

I know it was an expensive wedding.. but it actually looks like a wedding anyone could do. If you had an outdoor event. I thought it was lovely.. and I like the wedding attire.

  9. Astrid says:

    Just beautiful!

  10. Crumpet says:

Oh man. Serious’ grand English estate envy’ happening right now.

  11. boredblond says:

Nothin’ says true love like pimpin’ to the tabs 😋

  12. LadyJane says:

The first pic of the flower arch makes me think of Madonna’s quote: “I absolutely loathe hydrangeas”. This is a hydrangea explosion! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-45U8RYhOH0

  13. He finally put a ring on it! She looks lovely with the floral head piece-congratulations!

  14. Esmom says:

It’s nice to see Rocco looking loose and happy and not a sullen teen as my boys might appear in such a situation. I don’t see Sean Penn in him at all, just a pretty even mix of Madonna and Guy.

    • FingerBinger says:

Rocco looks like Guy but he’s been trying to get the Spicoli look. He’s been succeeding at it. He’s even dressed like Spicoli would dress.

  15. Tiffany says:

I feel you David, I have walked away from photographers when I thought they were done too. Half body and walking away photos are my jam.

  16. Isa says:

I keep seeing this flower crown trend on my Facebook but very few people can pull it off without looking like they’re growing a rose bush out of their head. She managed to pull it off and looks lovely.

  17. Eleonor says:

Love love the dress and the flowers. Gorgeous bride, and the wedding seems really fun.

  18. Ravensdaughter says:

Did Rocco walk her down the aisle?

  19. Timbuktu says:

Is it just me, or does she look a LOT like Keira Knightly?

  20. JRenee says:

    The hydrangea’s are hilarious!!!

  21. manta says:

One question: “daughters Rivka and Levi”? The child in Ritchie’s arms seems to wear the same outfit as David ,Rocco and the child on the far right on the top picture. I spot only one little girl here.
Or was there one deliberately dressed like the boys?

  22. Jem says:

I just thought of something: Madonnas bday is in August; the 16th, I think. What a bday gift for her from her ex, huh?

  23. coconut says:

David looks like he’s way older than 8…12 maybe? 10 at least.

    • jane says:

      Where’s Mercy?

      • Colette says:

Madonna adopted Mercy AFTER she broke up with Guy.I have never seen pics of her visiting him. It’s always just David and Rocco flying to England to visit Guy .I don’t believe he has a father/daughter relationship with Mercy.

      • Norman Bates' Mother says:

I feel for her. There’s no reason to hold that against Guy – he has the same level of responsibility for her as Lourde’s dad, which is none, but Mercy must be sad to see her siblings visiting their dads when she is the only one without one. I imagine them coming back home and telling her all those stories about vacations, weddings or even going to the movies – it has to be hard for a little girl.

  24. Andrea says:

They seem so casual and happy and is it just me or did ole Madge and Guy never look this happy together??

    • Jayna says:

Guy and Madonna actually used to be cute together. He was macho, needed the little woman, and she kind of liked having to bow down to him. The marriage eventually hit a lot of hard times, but for quite a while I think they were very much in love. This wife works for him because all she does is stay at home for the most part since having so many kids, doesn’t have a big career to compete with him, so doesn’t require much of him in the way of sacrifice as far as helping with the homelife and kids. She doesn’t require him to give anything , like Madonna did when she was on tour. Guy wasn’t very supportive of Madonna, even though his career at the time was going no where for part of the marriage, and he loved to be off in the pubs with the guys. He would show up a little bit on her tour but not much. I remember one of the behind the scenes docs of her tour you could tell she was hurt by him not being around. But in other scenes they were quite cute together, very teasing with one another.

It was just two strong personalities and careers.. I think Madonna’s drive wore on the marriage after a while. And I don’t think Guy was all that romantic of a man, but I think he was an affectionate man to Madonna. The marriage fell apart when Madonna really injured herself from a bad fall off of a horse and, was bedridden for quite a while, in a lot of pain. He had never seen her like that, not strong and independent, and just completely dropped the ball, wasn’t there for her emotionally or physically. She knew then the marriage couldn’t make it. When she needed him most, he let her down. So the troubled marriage ended two years later.

You have to give both of them credit. I think while it was no picnic of a marriage, they really tried in their own ways through counseling together, etc., to stay married and build a family unit. Ultimately, it was time to throw in the towel.

I think he and Jacqueline are very well suited to one another and it’s just an easier relationship.

Now this is a coffee table book I would buy! Likeable celebrities smiling and having fun at a beautiful wedding, with a beautiful bride, and pretty flowers everywhere. (Fresh from reading comments from Kim K’s ‘Selfish’ thread)

  26. MAC says:

Thanks for the post I needed that today.
It was nice to see a happy wedding

  27. The Original Mia says:

Gorgeous, fun wedding. Rocco and David are handsome young men.

  28. Jayna says:

I loved loved loved the wedding and all the fun photos. It is my favorite wedding of the last five years.

I do not like her dress. Average, and, honestly, not that flattering on her compared to how stunning a gown could be on her great figure. She is very pretty and I did not the flowers in her hair and her veil from before.

But I loved everything else about the wedding.

Amal’s wedding gown is still my favorite wedding dress.

Here’s more photos from Guy and Jacqui’s wedding. It looks like so much fun and joyful and laid back. I love the ones out by the pond with Guy in pajamas with Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer just joking around.

  30. Dara says:

They had me until the groom screened his new movie and gave out movie posters as wedding favors. Is this now a thing for celebrity weddings? George and Amal’s wedding featured his tequila venture and now Guy Ritchie is plugging his own movie. What would people think if I showed off the wicked cool spreadsheet I whipped up last week gave away pens with my company logo? Nope.

Other than that, I love almost everything else about this wedding.

    • Tessy says:

I think screening the movie and all is nice. I made stained glass ornaments for my daughter’s wedding for her to give out as favours, I think it makes it special if you can create something. Maybe not spreadsheets though… lol

      • Dara says:

@Tessy – I’m all in favor of making the day your own by creating something special, but making movies is Ritchie’s job which shouldn’t really be a part of someone’s wedding day. For example, when singers get married they might serenade their beloved at the reception, a poet might pen a loving verse or an architect might build a gazebo for the ceremony – but all of things would be created specifically for the wedding. Showing a movie that he was paid to make and has nothing to do with the actual marriage just seems a little tacky and self-promoting to me.

I’m jealous you are creative and talented enough to make stained glass ornaments – as a guest I would enjoy receiving something like that much more than some of the favors I’ve gotten over the years.

    • Jayna says:

It seems he’s using this wedding as a means to have publicity for his upcoming movie. That is the reason the nortoriously very private Guy Ritchie has opened this wedding to the public. That’s why all the openness about it and photos and such and throws in the Man From U.N.C.L.E. LOL

  31. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

Guess I’m the only one who thinks flower wreaths are silly, wretched, cheap-looking, infantile and overall ghastly. I’ve never seen one that didn’t look fit for the compost heap.

    Yeah, really.

  32. Mispronounced Name Dropper says:

    Pft. Childish nonsense.

  33. LouiseF says:

Where’s Lordes? I can see the two boys he had with Madonna but not the oldest girl. Was she there?

  34. Dinah says:

Is Guy Ritchie a heavy drinker? Alcohol destroys a body from the inside out. I hope his adorable son will take a good, long look at Guy’s face and ask himself, “Do I aspire to look like that?” Youth, wasted on the young – stay off the booze, young handsome! Does he have an adorable gap, too? He looks like the love child who Sean and Madonna never made. I love her gorgeous gown with its elegant sleeves. She made a beautiful bride. The black and white picture is simply stunning. It is still hilarious celebrities have 3 or 4 kids and finally get married. Makes me think of Mike Myers imitating Mick Jagger, nervous on his wedding night with Jerry Hall and being reminded by Keith that they’ve been together for around 10 years and have 2 kids together. Wedding nights used to be sooo romantic when a couple went all the way for the first time to The Raspberries crooning Go All the Way in the background. Ahh, such good times …. : )

  35. Brittney B says:

In that head-on shot of Jacqui alone, she looks JUST like Zoie Palmer from Lost Girl.

I thought she was Nikki Reed at first.
