While many of us just got drunk (and later hungover) over the holiday weekend, Pitch Perfect co-stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin did something actually productive and got engaged. The couple, who met on the set of the original Pitch Perfect film in 2012, made the announcement official this past weekend via Instagram.
During a romantic holiday vacation in Kauai, Hawaii, 28-year-old Skylar popped the question to his 33-year-old intended with a gorgeous diamond ring. He posted a pic on his Instagram account of the two of them with the caption “I asked. She said yes.” Of course, Anna posted the same snap to her Instagram with the caption, “He asked. I said YES!!!!” Ahh…social media.
Pitch Perfect fans were happy to hear the news, prompting Anna to post a tweet on Sunday saying, “Thanks for all the celebration and love! My heart is super warm today.”
The marriage will be a sequel for Anna – she was previously married to Sirens actor Michael Mosely before he filed for divorce in 2013. Anna and Skylar had been dating since 2013, starting their relationship as friends. They have shared their good times with fans through their respective Instagram accounts ever since. It’s currently unclear if either will appear in 2017’s Pitch Perfect 3.
I think it’s sweet that these two crazy kids found each other. I hope they’ve really found true blood…I mean, love!

I do think this is cute because Pitch Perfect charmed me. He seems an unlikely heartthrob to me but I guess he’s a theater guy or something? Hollywood though, where 30 somethings are playing college kids, yet baby J.Law plays roles better suited to middle aged women, is just bizarre.
