I’ve never had a broken bone, and I don’t think I’ve ever had stitches? That might signal that I’ve had an unremarkable life, but I think it’s more about the fact that I’ve never been a daredevil, and I’m good at falling. As in, when I do fall, I tend to go limp and that means bruising but no broken bones. Well, Brandi Glanville is a daredevil! Or she’s bad at falling. Or maybe she’s just unlucky. Because she was trying out one of those hoverboards and she busted up her arm something fierce. I’m including the unsettling, don’t-look-if-you’re-squeamish Twitter photos at the end of the post.
An injury like that is definitely reason to quit – and that’s exactly what Brandi Glanville is doing. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Twitter over the weekend, sharing the hover board induced injury that sent her to the hospital.
“Swollen paw 6 stitches I’m officially done with iWalk slash hover board,” the 43-year-old wrote on Twitter on Saturday, adding a photo of her puffed up hand, along with a sad face and broken heart emoji. A day later she shared another image, proving that swelling was the least of her injuries.
“Antibiotics equals no alcohol, allergy to pain meds equals pain, 6 stitches & a hairline fracture #priceless,” Glanville tweeted with a close-up shot of stiches in her arm.
As I glanced through Brandi’s Twitter, I did notice that she’s constantly making references to wine. Was this a drunk injury? Or was this just about stupid hoverboards?
Also – Eddie Cibrian was still trying to get the last word in with the Brandi situation about LeAnn posting photos of their kids. Eddie told RumorFix that he referred to Brandi as a liar because “Brandi never once talked to LeAnn regarding posting pictures of our kids during the holidays. LeAnn has never spoke to Brandi. She is just using LeAnn’s name to get press for herself.” For the love of God. Parse much?

If you’re over the age of 25 or just generally don’t have great core strength leave the hover boards ALOOOONNNNE.
As much joy as the YouTube videos of folks eating it on them has brought me I really don’t want anyone to fall the wrong way and end up hitting their head.
If you get on one of those things, it’s at your own peril. Everyone knows by now they catch fire, are unstable, and don’t even really hoverboard and therefore aren’t that fun. So, yeah. Enjoy not having fun on expensive future landfill and self immolating while busting your head open. No sympathy.

It seems like she is always breaking something or hobbling around on crutches. Are her old lady bones that weak or is she all about the attention? Both?

When I first glanced at the headline, I thought she had six stiches and a fracture on her actual hairline/head, not a “hairline fracture!” (Oops, my morning brunette moment)
Anyway, thankfully it wasn’t her head (or a nail), that is all I will say.

Forever Young. I’m not surprised to see that headline on her magazine. With Brandi, not doing anything crazy for a while would do the trick.
Those hoverboards are neat, but hell no to actually owning one. If they aren’t bursting into flames, people are busting their butts on them.

A little update on the BG thing from Emmaboo who is friends with one of Ediot’s long term sidepieces. Apparently Ediot is furious with BG for making him look bad with showing the email. He claims even tho she wrote him that email, she never asked VERBALLY so he’s playing the semantics game which his GF called him out on so they may be on a break for now. which also explains why LR has suddenly amped up the references to the boys in her tweets. she may not be posting pics but she’s still def. taking her jabs and justifying it by saying she shares ever facet of her life and Ediot and “The Boys’ are her life. At least this time she use “The” instead of “ours” of “mine” but she’s pretty much been tweeting about them non-stop since the news story.
I take Emma with a grain of salt but I tend to believe her at the same time b/c her posts actually make a lot of sense and appear truthful but ya never know. Im just hoping this Jessica (I think thats her name but not sure) will come forward soon.
I am amazed that anyone is willing to be his side piece. Wasn’t the alleged GF thinking about going to the tabloids? What would be unleashed if she did.
My neighbour broke both of her wrists over Christmas, using her son’s hoverboard. She fell backward and tried to use her hands to break her fall. She also hurt her tailbone. They are incredibly dangerous, even when used responsibly.
Those things are so dangerous! They blow up, and people are hurting themselves constantly!

She had a short Instagram video of her skillfully maneuvering on the hooverboard. But I guess that can change with those things.

Right before RumorFix released “Eddie’s”(Leann and Darrell) 2nd statement about Brandi, Leann got on instagram and posted a paragraph about how devastated she was to learn that someone in her family and one of her friends was diagnosed with cancer and ALS. When these blogs take statements from Eddie, I wish they would clarify: did they speak to Eddie over the phone, someone who claimed that they were Eddie(Leann has had Darrell and her hair stylist pose as Eddie), or they received an email from Eddie’s account. The first thing that needs to be acknowledged is that it’s more than likely that it’s Leann, Darrell, and her publicist who are releasing these statements about Brandi. After whining about how sad she was for her friend and family member, Leann then went out and partied with Dave, Lizzy, and Eddie because according to Leann Dave’s birthday was on Saturday. Dave’s birthday was the night that “Eddie” gave his first statement about Brandi. The very next day, Leann got on instagram and bragged about the great time she had partying with HER BFFs Dave and Lizzy.
I hate when people post pictures of their injuries on social media without any sort of warning. I’ve seen people post surgery pics, and fallen off toenails, and tons of gross stuff. I think it’s vile.
I agree. It reminds me of a small child showing off a boo-boo to get attention (except the child is far more tolerable).
I am staying away from FB at the moment because of people sharing a not overly well known singer’s health battle, which is certainly tragic, but consists of routine, sad photos of her as she wastes away. Not everyone wants to see that.
Those pics of her playing with her little daughter who probably won’t even remember her, are really heartbreaking.
Christin, do you get the feeling that hubby is starting to enjoy the attention? Some of his blogs are too TMI at times, or like he is asking for sympathy for himself.
@Lady D – I felt awful writing that, but what you said matches my feelings exactly. They have a record coming out in a month, and I can’t help but think this is partly driven by that. I could understand a photo or post once a month, but he’s doing it every few days (sometimes a couple of times a week).
I’m squeamish about seeing stitches, but I am more bothered by seeing someone documented as they waste away.

I know. And I had already seen the photo on another site. My comment was intended to question why people do this via social media. Not a fan of injury and hospital bed type selfies at all.
Brandi was with her boys when she was on the hover board. Props for doing things with your kids but these boards seem a little dangerous.
I was at the orthopedist last week and the x-ray tech said that 1 out of 3 patients were coming in with hoverboard injuries. Now I don’t feel like such a meanie for denying my sons Christmas wish!
Somehow this has got to be Leann’s fault. 🙄

Too bad she didn’t bust her jaw and her fingers on both hands…..then we wouldn’t have to hear her cry and whine for a little while! Although, I am sure if that happened she would find a way to cry and whine (or is it wine?) using twitter and her toes!!!!!
I don’t like her, but having injured myself in June when I fell and broke 2 bones in my wrist and ended up with surgery and a plate and 3 screws in my wrist, I know the pain. I sincerely hope she gets well soon.

I think she was more likely playing with her sons vs being drunk and getting on a hover board. Whoever created those is probably going to be slammed with lawsuits. She isn’t the only adult getting on one and being injured. I’m sure Leann studies the pic and laughs hysterically.
Ediot has zero credibility at this point so he has no problem in outright lying to rumorfix. What a guy!
Oh please Brandi. You saw that Gamble took a tumble off of her hover board with a glass of wine and heels and you just couldn’t let someone else have the spotlight.
