I was surprised to find that I really like the DNCE album.
I have to be honest, I have only heard Cake by the Ocean. The song is ok but not good enough to get the attention they are currently getting. Mind you Joe already had a huge following so I’m sure that helped a lot.
I liked the DNCE album, too. It was decent, better than I expected. Plus, their guitarist is great.

The sad thing is that even though a court of law acknowledges that PP did nothing wrong and the video creators illegally tampered with public record, many people who should hear this won’t. They will continue to think that the videos were legitimate. I think back to the Colorado PP shooter, and wonder if he has heard the news.
what’s sad though, is that the people who were clamoring the loudest for PP to go down (esp Carly whatshername and her outright lies about all of it) aren’t backing down. They’d rather continue to be wrong but believe that they’re right (in the face of all evidence) than just admit they’re wrong. I don’t get that mentality…it’s like they’re LITERALLY crazy in the head. is it narcissism, or sociopathy that makes people not be able to admit when they’re wrong?

Because they are professionally and emotionally invested in their stance. They think they will be ruined if they admit they were wrong. They think being wrong is a defeat. They don’t comprehend that truth, acknowledgement, etc. are honorable and human. As is learning from others. To people like them, it’s a contest and one they are losing if they “cave” somehow.

I have a feeling Nick is just putting on a front. He is one of the spokes people for the Diabetes Foundation if I’m correct (or at least he was). I think he wants the public to think he’s a certain way and lives a “rock star life” when he’s probably pretty clean cut. It’s all about image.
