Star: Lady Gaga overdid the Botox & fillers on her nose, lips & forehead

Back in December, Lady Gaga stepped out to receive her Billboard Woman of the Year Award. I discussed how “different” Gaga looked to me back then, but it was an even bigger shock when Gaga appeared at the Golden Globes. While Gaga’s face has long been a “work in progress” and she can often look radically different from month to month, it really felt like she got some major work done towards the end of last year. Her whole face looked and looks different. So… what did she get done? Was it surgical or injectable? Star Magazine spoke to a plastic surgeon who has some theories.

Lady Gaga’s odd new look is becoming its very own horror story. Lady Gaga has said that she’s against plastic surgery as it promotes “insecurity,” but her startlingly strange appearance as of late tells a different story.

“It looks like Gaga has had too much Botox on her forehead, causing a slight droop of her right eyebrow and eyelid,” says NYC-based plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe, adding that Gaga also appears to have had fillers injected into her lips, smile lines and even her nose in lieu of rhinoplasty to her schnoz a more stramlined appearance. Friends of pop singer also tells Star that Gaga is transforming her body as well.

“Because her weight fluctuates, her breasts have become saggy,” says a source, who speculates that Gaga won’t get fake boobs because her fiancé, Taylor Kinney, hates them. “She’ll opt for fat transfer instead. She already seems to have been getting lipsuction on her waist and thighs and having the fat injected into her breasts.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

It never occurred to me that a person could have fillers put into their nose instead of getting a nose job. Huh. I came into this story thinking that for sure Gaga had some surgical stuff done, but now I’m questioning that – what if her new look is all-injectable? What if her face is just being sculpted with Botox and fillers? Hm. As for the claim of lipo and fat injections on her body… lord knows. I think she lost some weight last year and she’s just keeping it off. But sure, maybe her body is being tweaked too.

Honestly, I don’t think I would have recognised any of those pictures as being of Lady Gaga.

    • Krista says:

Same. She looks different all the time.

    • Snazzy says:

Yes!! She somehow looks completely different in each shot

    • LeAnn Stinks says:

While I am NOT a plastic surgeon, I find it hard to believe that she did not have a rhinoplasty at some point. If you Google older images of her, she had a pretty significant bump on the bridge of her nose that could never be remedied by fillers alone. I believe she had a least two procedures on her nose, and then the rest of the “tweaking” could be fillers.

But the fact that she has been so outspoken against plastic surgery, just like Giselle “the major hypocrite” Bunchen, and then continues to change her face and body, is duplicitous, to say the least. Mother monster is sending very mixed, and contradictory, messages to her fans.

I like her October head. Her January head is all lop-sided. I would ask for a refund on that. Dreadful.

  3. PinaColada says:

I had filler in my nose. I went to a surgeon thinking I needed a nose job to fix a divet in my nose, and he told me you don’t need a nose job- you need to fill in the tip. So I went to a dermatologist who injected it and told me it’d likely be a permanent fix because the fuller stimulates scar and collagen formation, which fills the spot. 6 years later- yes, it was permanent!

  4. Eleonor says:

Because she was born this way.

  5. sarah says:

Honestly she has a strong jawline, which can make a face look crazy different day-by-day, hair up hair down, middle part, side part. She also seems to gain/lose weight in her face before her body quite easily. I have no idea why I’m defending her, lol.

  6. MelissaManifesto says:

If she doesn’t stop, she might end up looking like what she’s always portrayed on stage, a caricature.

  7. Mia V. says:

    She was born this way.

    • Kitten says:

      LOL.

She has like, 10 different faces. Poor Taylor probably doesn’t even recognize her.

I think I should comfort him. My face never changes, Taylor.

      • angie says:

Oh c’mon now – she’s every mans’ dream!!! He thinks he wakes up to a new woman every week!!!

  8. Miss Jupitero says:

I too had filler injected in my nose– I was in a freak accident which took a chunk out of my nose and left a divot. Seriously, imagine an apple with a bite taken out. THAT is what my nose looked like.

I had a scar revision surgical procedure, followed by a good shot of filler from my dermatologist. My nose is now sleek and cute, and you would need a magnifying glass to see the scar.

As for Lady Gaga: I think she looks dreadful. It’s not bad surgery per se, but now she is starting to look just like every other show biz barbie doll. Kind of sad.

  9. SusanneToo says:

Courtney Love in December shot for sure.

  10. Kitten says:

She had a really distinct, unique face and she erased all of that.
Hidden underneath all that bravado is a really insecure woman.

    • Jayna says:

      Exactly.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I agree, but I can’t help but feel sympathy. Her entire career, people have made fun of her face (especially her nose). It would be very hard to hear that for so long and not do anything. Especially when it is framed as “it’s not surgery”.

  11. Bridget says:

She’s done so much work anyhow, it’s hard to tell. This time it’s as though she walked in with a picture of Jayne Mansfield and said ‘make me look like this’

“Thanks for allowing me to shine”

  12. Velvet Elvis says:

Gaga has become totally unrecognizable. Sorry but adding filler to your nose isn’t going to make it smaller…there has been some surgical intervention here. Look through her older pics especially and you’ll see just how prominent her nose has always been. I am thinking a chin implant as well.

    • Tiffany :) says:

Her nose has always been small at the tip. Look at the cover of her 1st album The Fame, she has a little tiny tip on her nose. Her nose has always been very straight when you look at it straight on. It is when you look at her profile that use see the unique shape up by her eyes.

  13. QQ says:

let me fix Star’s: Header: We All Have Eyes, we can see she is doing EVERY POSSIBLE THING

illers on the nose yep! i believe, Dr. Ourian’s IG Page ( Kardashian Dr) is a treasure trove of putting fillers on people and seeing the stuff appear or disappear before your very eyes

what we need to know is why did she steal the gummy worm lips from Lohan and Kidman, WHY??!!

  14. missmerry says:

her eye makeup makes a huge difference IMO. that very pointy, high straight line (something her character from AHS had going on all season) makes her face look tweaked. and I think in the show, at least, she was using tape to pull her eyes up, but I don’t see tape in these photos.

i wouldn’t put it past her to get fillers/botox, but I think makeup and hair have tons to do with it.

  15. notgifted says:

The most prominent change seem to be her lips. If you compare the October pic to the January one, the lips seem to have doubled. Especially, the upper lip. Then again, she looks different, every time I see her, given the fact that she likes to change not only her wardrobe, but her whole appearance. One day, she will appear costume-y, and next she will glam it up…..I think each to their own, when it comes to plastic surgery, but she seems to contradict her “message” she keeps shoving down our throats about being content and fine with ourselves just the way we are.

  16. platospopcorn says:

I get Botox regularly to help me look less tired (and less angry!), but it does not fundamentally change the structure of my face. And my one friend who has had fillers doesn’t look like a different person, she just looks like a puffy version of herself (fillers are sooooo hard to get right). So, I’m not buying this surgeon’s explanations. “Injectables” has become a convenient smoke screen for people who are obviously going under a knife. This woman is unrecognizable from event to event.

  17. Jayna says:

She’s done something up high regarding her cheekbone close to the outside edge of her eyes. I noticed it a while back and have seen fans comment on it, but no one seems to know what she’s done. Addicted to filler, botox, lip plumping. She had a nose job she denies.

She admitted a couple of years ago to becoming addicted to filler and going so much to some dive place at a strip mall to get it that. And when it came time to shoot a music video she was told she had to stop the fillers and let it go down before they could shoot the video, because she was becoming unrecognizable.

    Born This Way, my …….

  18. FingerBinger says:

Her chin looks different as well. In the October photo her face looks longer than the January photo.

  19. Jayna says:

Here’s Stefani Germanotta before she became Lady Gaga, when she was knocking around the clubs trying to make it. I get improving your looks if you want to, but she is morphing into and trying to become the ideal she once fought against.

  20. MysticBadger says:

Ok, so Lady Gaga is my age (29). The thought of injectables at this age is crazy to me. And I think it actually makes her look like a much older woman trying to look younger. I don’t get it. Smh >_<

  21. Zaytabogota says:

She was very attractive when she was a teenager before she started messing with her natural looks. Why do they do this? I can understand someone fixing a genuine deformity but transforming your nice looking face into the alien look that they all end up sporting is bizarre. I can’t understand why anyone would spend money and risk surgery to mess up their face so they can look like all the other crazy, alien people.

  22. Bread and Circuses says:

I honestly think it’s makeup and maybe a slight weight fluctuation at work. She’s always been a chameleon. Not that she’d be averse to having a little work done, but I don’t see any real changes in her basic features.

  23. Lytte says:

Yeah her eyes look different but I will say filling in/drawing on your brows makes such a huge difference!!

    • Crumpet says:

Yeah, that is the biggest difference I see. I know everyone has seen those silly “eyebrows are important” photo montages.

  24. iheartgossip says:

Looks like a cross between Gwen Stefani and Courtney Love. And NOT in their good days. In their middle-aged, fear of growing older, no self-esteem to accept the obvious. Boo

  25. SOCHAN says:

She’s always looked older than her actual age, but now it’s reached epic proportions. She looks like a woman in her 40’s who has good makeup. You know how some women look their age but look their age WELL? Catherine Zeta Jones comes to mind. That’s how Stefani Germanotti looks … if she were 45.

  26. Lisa says:

Damn, Stefani. She’s only a few years older than I am. Way too early to be getting that much work done.

  27. raincoaster says:

There’s no way a person’s eyes end up two different sizes just from injectables.
