Kendall & Kylie Jenner launched their new clothing line ahead of NYFW, ugh

If I think about this too much, it will really start to upset me. So my goal with this story is to not give it too much thought. These photos are of Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the launch of their clothing line, Kendall + Kylie. They are modeling their own designs in these photos. Which is the problem I’m trying not to think about. Kendall and Kylie have zero background in fashion design. Maybe – MAYBE – they’ve been involved with previous Kardashian clothing lines, but their contributions were minimal. And so it seems like they’re just designing tacky, ill-fitting, unflattering, cheaply made clothes for themselves and whoever else is stupid enough to buy their line. And that’s a shame. Here’s what they told People Magazine:

“We designed it according to what we love, and how our style is,” the older Jenner tells PEOPLE. “It’s someone who is really similar to us. A young girl wanting to have fun. That’s mainly what we designed.”

Although they did not serve as fit models for their collection, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality stars did have a say.

“We absolutely tried on everything, you can’t wait to see how the finished product turns out,” Kylie shares with PEOPLE as Kendall adds, “It’s an exciting process, and when everything is done you’re like ‘Wait, get me everything. I can’t wait to try it.’”

And if you follow either of them, you could give the Jenner girls a few suggestions! “I really like to ask my followers on Twitter, what they like, what they would like to see me improve and do more off. They help me a lot,” Kylie explains. “Same! You kinda see what everyone loves and you kind of feed off of that,” Kendall echoes.

The line is available at high-end stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Shopbop, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, a big comparison to their older half-sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian whose Kardashian Kollection at struggling retailer Sears quietly stopped selling in May 2015.

[From People]

Kendall and Kylie are launching their line a few days ahead of New York Fashion Week. Kanye West will be showing his latest Yeezy line at NYFW, so expect more nude pantyhose ensembles and refugee-wear. I bet Kendall or Kylie (or both) model for him too. I mention Kanye because he’s already in New York, prepping his show, and he came out for his little sisters-in-law last night. Say what you will, but Kanye genuinely loves his in-laws. He gets along really well with Kris Jenner and all of the Kim’s sisters.

I think they got their fashion tips from Kanye.

  2. Katy says:

    BARF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Lucy says:

There’s something about their “serious” facial expressions in most pictures that never fails to crack me up. Can’t put my finger on what exactly that is, but I find it hilarious.

  4. D says:

Do you think it’s real fur?

  5. minx says:

All of them look dead behind the eyes. All of them.

  6. H says:

Ugh. FUR. These girls are utterly useless. Plus what “normal” kid shops at Neiman Marcus or Saks?

    • Lizzie McGuire says:

Their Calababasas neighbors which seems to be their target here because I don’t see anyone from their age wearing those clothes anywhere, well except them, the Smith kids, etc.

  7. me says:

Kanye gets along with them because they kiss his butt…and also because they only see each other 4 times a year.

Secondly, does anyone believe these girls really designed anything? They were shown designs and said “ok cool’ or “nope” and that’s about it. The same with their sisters, none of them do anything other than put their names and faces to products.

    • swak says:

+1000. There is no way they sit down and draw out these designs themselves. Neither does Kanye. BTW read where he is to drop his new album at his fashion show. Should be interesting.

    • PearlClutcherNeedNotAppy says:

Of course someone else designed it and they put their name on it! Same as that stupid book they “wrote”! They add nothing to society except hot air!

    • SydneySnider says:

I’m not sure who “helps” these two design anything, but it’s fairly well known that their sisters’ designs were actually created by Bruno Schiavi, an Australian designer. I’m betting they’ve also got ghost designers. And do they ever actually wear their “own” designs? They always seem to wear more high-end clothing.

When they were in Sydney (remember the eggs and tomatoes incident?!), I was with my 13-year-old niece at the shopping centre where they appeared. Just out of curiosity – in case I was judging them too harshly – we had a look at their clothes. They looked cheap and tacky, and the styles were no different to what was already on sale in very well established shops.

Someone please wake me up when this family is over…

  9. Pandy says:

My bio waste is more interesting than these people.

  10. TwistBarbie says:

“A young girl wanting to have fun?” Kylie looks like Granny’s casino night.

  11. Dream Big says:

If I wanna look like a lost girl playing dress up…🙄

If I wanna look cheap and insecure…😩

If I wanna look try hard…😁

Hello…there’s IG boutiques for far less💅🏻

  12. My Two Cents says:

The only reason these two girls are able to sell anything is because they have literally been shoved continuously in everybody’s face through media. Somebody else does all the work and they put their brand on it, then try to sound like they have a small clue of what they are talking about. PimpMom is on rinse and repeat doing for these two same thing she did for the older ones.

  13. Jay says:

Those knee-rise gladiator heels need to die.

  14. word says:

Oh so if Kanye likes their fashion line, it must be good? Please Kanye, himself, knows very little about fashion. I feel bad for all those people in fashion school, actually learning a trade.

    • SydneySnider says:

I can’t wait for the comments and guffaws when he unveils his latest genius contributions to couture. The frustrating thing is he’ll never take the hint that he’s useless at fashion design. Who wants to be seen in, much less pay hundreds of dollars for, babypoo-coloured, stretched and oversized basic tee shirts? I have $10 ones, which, after 5 years, have been relegated to floor rags. He’s such a pillock.

About Kylie.. I’ve just been so shocked I needed to show that s**t here. I saw that her transformation makes her look way older, but dear god this close up pic shows the reality of the f***ing damages!!!

I think it’s too late for her to recover a nearly normal face now, and I really pity the child… SAD sad sad she looks like kendall aunt or even mother sometimes…irk
