Kanye West brings back Caps Lock Kanye for his latest Twitter meltdowns

FFN_GGFF_Kardashian_West_2122016_51969058

Here are some assorted photos of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian out and about in NYC on Friday. Kim was out with her people during the day (those are the pics where she’s wearing a white & black coat), then she and Kanye went to see Hamilton (the pics of Kim in the red coat). I know there’s a ton of Kanye stuff to discuss, but can we just take a moment to discuss Poor Kim? I mean, seriously you guys, poor Kim. Kanye is dressing her, because she’s his Barbie doll, and she just looks so uncomfortable. I do not understand parading around New York in leggings, furry coats and a blonde wig. Ugh.

As for Kanye… he’s still dealing with fallout from the Taylor Swift lyric, and as we saw on Friday, no one has taken his Twitter away from him. He tweeted out a lengthy diatribe about how he has never and would never diss Taylor (????) and then on Saturday, Kanye took aim at the critics of his Madison Square Garden NYFW show. You can read his whole Twitter feed here, I’m just doing the most relevant tweets. Kanye escalated mid-Twitter-rampage and went into Classic Kanye CAPS LOCK mode for good measure. I think it all started when Media Takeout dissed his collection?

Now – Media Takeout – always remember that you dissed the collection that changed the world. You seem like the type of organization hired to always keep dreamers down… when certain things in history happen you just got to respect it…respect the struggle… respect the hustle… respect the dreams… respect the movement…

I had an album listening and clothing presentation and Madison Square Garden…people were crying… people were throwing up the fist… people were dancing…but Media Takeout couldn’t say one thing positive knowing damn well you’d love to be on the YEEZY 350 list…you probably got bootleg Yeezy’s on right now…

I’m a human being… I’m an artist, bro…

Your site is entertaining and hilarious but certain things are just too far… you have no idea what I’ve had to go through … so many people didn’t make it and gave everything they had for me to stand on their shoulders and break through fashion…fashion ain’t no joke for me… It’s a way of life… creative expression and industry…

I’ve given everything I had for this moment… a lot of people feel it’s the paradigm shift …

and I’m proud of this picture with me and Caitlyn… She gave the most heart felt speech at my wedding and was there in full support to see me realize this dream…

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA F–K ALL THE HATERS PUT YOUR MIUTHERF–KING FIST IN THE SKY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’M SO HYPE RIGHT NOW EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED … HAVE YA’LL EVER SEEN TRON? THE END OF THE TRON WHERE EVERYTHING LIGHT UP!!!!

HAD TO ALL CAPS THIS!!!!!! NO MORE RULES…. MAKE YOUR OWN RULES… ok now back to finishing Pablo

[From Kanye’s Twitter]

One small moment of praise for Kanye: he didn’t deadname Caitlyn Jenner. In that one small respect, Kanye is better than Ricky Gervais. As for everything else… he’s a nutburger, what did you expect? The thing that surprises me about this current situation with Kanye is y’all act like it’s something new. He’s ALWAYS been this way. He’s always been a narcissist, he’s always been crazy, he’s always his own worst enemy. And y’all act like YOU’VE NEVER SEEN TRON.

Also: in yet another Twitter rant last night, Kanye revealed this:

… which confirms something that I’ve been wondering about for the past year or so. The reason why Kanye loves the fact that Kim’s empire is so profitable is because she’s pretty much supporting their family financially right now, and probably will be supporting them for a long time. It also shows that Kanye has been doing his fashion collections out of pocket and it’s gotten really expensive.

PS… Jezebel published an amazing piece about what it was like to be a “model” at Kanye’s MSG show. It sounds ridiculous.

He’s just so…draining. I feel tired after reading all those tweets. And I can actually imagine him constantly telling Kim to respect him. I can see it.

    • PinaColada says:

+1 Exactly! I’ve known people like him and draining is the perfect word! I wi see how long Kim can keep it going. I’d be so burned out by his constant pontificating and lecturing and flying off the handle. Too much work.

      • Mihaela says:

He actually turns Kim into an Amber Rose lookalike….

      • Fee says:

Mihaela or soooo right, I thought she started looking like black chyna. Now onto Kanye….has anyone thought that he sounds bipolar? Unfortunately I’ve been around it, manic depression is what it sounds like, manic episodes r extremely high then low. I’d rather he be a jackass than ill , wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Why has no one from his family looked into it, Kim take his tweeter acct n stay away from cameras,as hard as it may b

    • C says:

“People were crying” lmao he’s sooo delusional! Kim has money, I really don’t understand why she married that clown. It wasn’t because of love!

      • Nikki says:

Before Kanye, Kim and her family couldn’t get front row at top (A-list) shows (they were stuck at Pamella Roland and the like). Anna Wintour wouldn’t let them attend the Met Gala. Kanye gave them access. . . and an American Vogue cover.

She’s been building friendships, but I wonder if people will let her stay when (not if) they split.

I think that world sees Kanye like Basquiat or McQueen. Genius artist who is incredibly damaged. They’ll tolerate him.

Kim for all her (social media) power, still doesn’t have any respect.

      • Ennie says:

Nikki, noooo, the world does not see Kanye as a misunderstood genius. They see his actions and his ugly clothes and misogynistic hungry lyrics.
I say his u-hu honey video and laughed, I see these clothes and shake my head.
He thinks he is a misunderstood genius who is on a mission to make the world believe him, and ends up ricicuking himself.
If he is really a genius, he should relax and not try too hard. If he is so good, his genius will be recognized some day, maybe after he dies, but he will.
He reeks of desperation, I get exhausted just by reading an article, what the first poster said, he is draining, his thirst is draining.
If he were producing music, art, whatever he does, you know, that would be nice , but a lot of his energy is spent in trying to convince people that he IS who he says he is. That what he does is genius, that is pitiful to me.

      • Goobie says:

To even mention Kanye in the same sentence as McQueen is completely ridiculous. He’s a talented producer, it goes no farther than that.
I do agree that he brought them access. That is true. But,at those venues they are not liked, merely tolerated and snickered about. Once their cache is gone, they are out.

      • Nikki says:

There’s a reason why Anna sits at his shows. There’s a reason why he’s still allowed to even have these runway presentations.

I’m not a Kanye fan, but most people in the industry consider him “a genius”. I think he definitely has a gifted ear and talent, but I think genius. . . I’d need to confirm that myself. To his credit, Kanye has no formal training, fashion or music. All of this is self taught. Which is impressive.

It’s pity he can’t/won’t get help.

I used McQueen because he too was an @sshole or “enfant terrible” (which sounds much nicer) who was tolerated because of his talent. Aside: This makes me wonder how bad Galliano must be.

      • Jwoolman says:

Kanye isn’t self-taught because he wasn’t offered the opportunities but rather because he kept walking away from chances to learn and avoid reinventing too many wheels. So even if he has some spark of natural talent inside him, he has never let it grow and mature. Instead, he wastes his time complaining about criticism and insisting he is such a genius. Geniuses don’t run around proclaiming they are geniuses. Besides, he doesn’t need to be a genius to do good stuff, he’s intelligent enough when he’s not in a manic phase. His only real obstacle is himself, and that obstacle seems to be overwhelming him these days.

      • Pansy says:

Had to do like a quadruple take to understand that was Kim. This is out of hand. He’s dressing her–and changing her face–to suit him. That alone, without the manic behavior or caps lock rants, is enough to signal a significant mental issue.
But she’s going along with it, so….

    • Kate says:

I always wonder why Kim keeps putting up with it too. He’s 53 mil in debt, but has huge issues with KUWTK, like he’s too good to be on the show and barely let’s them film North. News flash, that’s how your wife pays yall’s bills. I’m over him and his 3,000.00 shoes. Lol Collection that changed the world? Yeah, bc people can afford that garbage with holes in it.

Btw: Kim got her nose done, right? Those nostrils look like someone tried to pull them to her eyeballs.

      • Tate says:

I think she definitely got her nose done. The space between her nose and lips is massive!

      • swak says:

Glad they don’t film North. Maybe if she doesn’t get used to it she’ll go on to greater things (other than filming a reality show).

      • Naya says:

“Why does Kim put up with it”

Lots of reasons, all of them to do with her famewhore job. In the beginning it was because he legitimised her and her Klan. He opened up a different demo for them; the ironic hipster crowd. He got her into rooms that used to turn their noses at her. He got her in with Anna Wintour who had been openly sneering at her for a decade. He couldnt get her into Beyonces lap when she was clearly angling for a BFF role but he tried damnit.

Now that his name is taking a beating she stays for three reasons 1) Kris Humphries debacle means she must extract strategically 2) Kanye is an unknown quantity unlike the other discraded Kardashian men. He could react by going to war. And most importantly 3) she is still gaining from this. She dresses like a fool and scores multiple headlines. If Kanye is ever diagnosed she can recast herself as the “long suffering wife”. Kylie is already coming for her “curvy socialite/fashionista” crown, she has to rebrand. To a fame whore like Kim, Kanye West in any shape is a God send.

      • HH says:

Her nose, lips, and chin look freshly healed from some procedure, especially in the white and black fur coat photos. She used to be stunning and now she’s just odd to look at. And Kanye is $53M in debt?!?! Over that mess? He’s an idiot.

      • Jaxx says:

Is it my imagination or does she look a bit like Amber Rose in these pics? If she shaves her head………

      • Ennie says:

@Jaxx She Looks so orange, her face is even worse than her legs. When she was wearing the braids you could see the color difference between her face and scalp.
Add to that all the procedures. Amber’ face is naturally beautiful, and Kim also was.
I think that Kim is currently trying to fend off aging more than changing her actual features, but the effects make her look weird.
I truly did not recognize her in the cap. I had to double check.

      • Denise says:

        @Naya wins the Internet!

      • minx says:

Why does she keep getting her nose done? Any theories? It is out of whack now with the proportions of her face. She looks like she has a huge face.

      • Bridget says:

When Kanye goes, they go back to being another tacky reality TV family. The entire family will lose the access they’ve gotten through Kanye – the fashion shows, the contacts, the modelling jobs. They’ll be back to hustling to even get entry into LA fashion. Week.

      • M.A.F. says:

The question should be what hasn’t she had done?

      • Riemc526 says:

I came here to say the same thing!! Her nose is closer to her eyes than to her mouth and it looks baaaaad.

      • Jag says:

@Naya – You are perfectly correct!

Regarding Kanye, I think that the Kardashian’s won’t help him get the help that I think he needs because it gets them attention when he goes off the rails. I think he’s untreated bipolar, and as a bipolar person myself, I understand the “grandiose” thinking when I’m manic, which is what I think he’s doing. The difference is, though, that I don’t allow myself to shout it to the world via Twitter, and I don’t spend millions of dollars in my mania. (Though, I messed up my credit in my younger days by spending thousands on ebay. Lesson learned.)

    • Priya says:

He needs a really, really good therapist. He IS exhausting.

    • Davy says:

I love Kanye. Love. He is so good for entertainment.

Love his music. Love his delusion. Love his moments of clarity in the middle of the verbal storm. Love the random unintentional comedy (Tron? Ok). I just love him, he’s always so good and the best thing to ever happen to Twitter.

On a serious note, I actually do wonder sometimes if he has cognitive damage from his car accident. I’ve heard his personality has shifted a lot since the accident and observing the fluctuations of his behaviour and coherency, I wonder. But love Kanye man excited for the album.

      • Cee says:

He sounds manic. I won’t fall for petty diagnosing, but he seems to have a lot of highs and lows, and that usually points in one direction.

        He needs a psychologist ASAP.

  2. swack says:

Don’t feel sorry for Kim. If she is uncomfortable in the clothes she wears then that’s on her. She could tell Kanye no. She enjoys all the attention.

    • vauvert says:

Thanks. What exactly does she need sympathy for! I can understand sympathy for a child with no say in what she wears, how she is toted around at all hours of day and night to be shown off as an accessory, but a grown a$$ woman?

That picture at the top, Lord help me, all I could think was “the heifer and the troll.” I try really hard to avoid body shaming, even where KK is concerned – my comments always reflect my opinion of her “style” (is there a word that means the complete opposite of???), but here he looks like he just came out from under a bridge. And her idiotic ball caps, paired with fur and leggins… Ugh

Finally, I don’t know if he has always been this irrational, but I am just wondering about the US system – at what point is the family required to intervene in the case of what appears to be a full on mental breakdown? When Britt Britt shaved her head folks acted like it was this big deal, and her family promptly intervened. Here, we see Ye go further down the rabbit hole with every Tweet and while the anger over his rants is completely justified, why are so few people missing out on the fact that this is NOT normal behaviour? This has passed from amusing territory to frightening a while ago.

There are lots of other celebs/ stars out there, who I am sure have an inflated opinion of themselves, but what we are seeing here goes a lot further than “separate out my red M&M’s” and “bow to my superior talent”. It is not a once in a while act out while drunk behaviour, it is consistent, sustained, long term and I just wonder at what point his anger, megalomania, hatred of women (please don’t tell me that’s not what a lot of this is) will drive him to commit actual violence? Am I really alone thinking that rather than worrying about the album and the atrocities he showed on that stage in the way of torn fabric, we should worry about the state of his mind?

      • Naya says:

I agree, he is displaying a lot of mental health red flags lately. Last time I posted that, I was scolded for it but this isnt about making excuses for him. Its about noting that he has these strange behaviour patterns. Every so often, its like something snaps and then after a few months, he goes quiet again. I’m not convinced its just album promotion either. A Kanye album is always going to draw attention, its not in his interests to be drawing THIS kind of attention.

      • Jaana says:

One of his friends said he is mentally ill and needs help. Don’t remember his name but the story is out there.

      • Amanda G says:

ITA Naya. At first I thought this was typical idiotic “look at me” Kanye stuff, but now I think he’s having a mental/emotional breakdown. Especially after what his ex-songwriter recently said about him. The sad part is, the rest of the Kardashians are just eating up all this attention and won’t do anything to help him.

      • Aarika says:

I totally agree that his behaviour right now is screaming mental illness. Remember Amanda Bynes? At first people didn’t realize that she was sick, everyone thought she was just an eccentric a**hole. I feel like the same thing is happening with Kanye. And Kim seems to be medicated/in denial to deal with the situation.

      • swak says:

But until they perceive him to be a threat to himself or others nothing will be done. Britney not only shaved her head, but did things that endangered her sons. She was also in and out of rehab several times. She also attacked a car with an umbrella. While I agree there is something definitely wrong with Kanye, I’m not sure just the rants on twitter would allow him to be held for any reason.

      • Jessie says:

        @swak

I am not saying he’s as bad as Britney mentally, I have no idea. You mentioned the car incident. It was a paparazzi she attacked. This is important to point out. Kanye has attacked paparazzies multiple times. He repeatedly punched the racist kid who taunted Kim in the dentist office. His ex girlfriend said he became so enraged during an argument he shoved her into a bush she suffered injury. I think there plenty of evidence he has a violent temper ( more so then in the case of britney). Not that this makes him mentally ill necessarily.

      • OhDear says:

        Yeah, I don’t think he’s well either.

      • swak says:

@jessie, Britney’s meltdown was very public whereas with Kanye, the only proof is behavior towards the paps. The beat down on the kid was never seen on video (and at the time I think there were conspiracies out there that it was all for show) and as far as the ex – that’s a he said/she said situation, just saying. I believe he has an anger issue just as I believe Kim has issues with her self-esteem. Britney did not fight her father on anything but I believe Kanye would fight to the death before anyone even implicated that he had mental problems and anger issues. I can tell you that no amount of money or getting into places would allow me to stay in a relationship like theirs. But I was brought up to be a strong person and that I didn’t need anyone else to validate my life.

      • Bridget says:

Amanda Bynes breakdown was always very public and very apparent. The constant driving under the influence? The constant lying? The wigs, the change of her appearance (remember when Bynes was the one trying to co-opt Blac Chyna’s look?). It was obvious for a long time that Amanda had completely broken with reality, in a way that we don’t see with Kanye West.

      • Deedee says:

@Naya. Yes, I agree with you that he is ill. And the fact that he keeps changing the title of his album and can’t release it on its due date seems to me to be additional signs ( ie, indecisiveness) to what you and others have written about mental illness.

      • Jag says:

Naya said ” Every so often, its like something snaps and then after a few months, he goes quiet again.”

@Naya – Every bipolar person that I’ve known – myself included – has “cycles” of up and down. When I used to chart my sleeping pattern, one could clearly see that I had about two weeks of what I would call “normal,” then a week or so of mania, and then four weeks of depression. My friends’ patterns or cycles are different, one even cycled up and down many times a day. I think that Kanye is bipolar and if we were to chart his ranting tweets, we could possibly figure out his cycle.

      • Sheila says:

Britney, Amanda, what do they have in common that Kanye doesn’t? They’re women. All these “conservatorships” that celebrities who go crazy get put under, it’s only women that it seems to happen to. No one is stepping forward to help Shia Lebeuf either. A man acts like Kanye, people are all “why won’t he get help for himself?” A woman acts like Britney, people say “where’s her father in all this? why won’t her parents control her?”

    • minx says:

I don’t know why she would marry a gay or bisexual man and have a fake “marriage.” She must have a decent amount of money of her own. Why do it?
I get no sense of attraction between these two–they are each in love with themselves.

      • Cee says:

Because he legitimizes her. He’s a comercially successful musician and has access to the sort of places KK used to dream of. Look back at KK before AND after going public with KW. Her whole family benefited from her relationship with him.

There are certain things money can’t buy (and I’m not talking about class because neither of them has ANY)

    • CG says:

+1 @Swack. I don’t feel bad for her at all. She looks like a moron, but everything she does is for attention/publicity, so she’s getting what she wants. Plus, she’s known Kanye for years so she knew what she was getting into, kinda like Duchess Kate. If she didn’t want to be in this relationship/situation with Kanye, she’d end it, because she obvs has no objection to divorce. So I don’t pity her — I just roll my eyes at the obvious famewhoring.

  3. JKL says:

All I know is Yeezy’s are some ugly-ass shoes.

    • Denisemich says:

Agree. Also, I am not sure he is broke. I bet this is part of a stunt to get his clothes to sell. One article said people screamed at his show ” make the clothes cheaper” . I think this announcement is to make people buy the album and the Yeezy season 3 line.

He has a separate house in Hollywood hills, NYC and Paris.

      • me says:

Good point. If he’s so “in debt” why doesn’t he sell some of his homes? No, instead he keeps renovating the same damn house over and over again while living at PMK’s house. Do you really think Kim would want anyone to know Kanye is in debt? I doubt it. Also, didn’t he just say in one of his songs that he’s better than Ray-J because Kanye is rich? Ray-J is doing good financially. He still gets a monthly check from that sex tape !

      • denisemich says:

I didn’t even mention that home. Cuz he has 2 in LA.

I bet he can’t separate himself from his brand. I doubt the Kardashians or his biz manager allowed him to put biz debt in his name instead of an llc.

Or this is his way of preventing a lawsuit from Swifty

  4. LookyLoo says:

I thought that was Blac Chyna with him in the top picture. The whole family is morphing into Blac Chyna…🤔

If Kanye is creating and manufacturing these tags out of pocket, he’s an idiot. And if the company is still not profitable after all the “accolades” and fashion “awards” he paid for … I mean, he received, he’s a fool. He’s completely out of touch. These are not clothes people are going to flock to the store to buy. This just lends credence to the belief that he bought out the first collection himself. The holey rags are probably sitting in storage somewhere.

    • Naya says:

Kanye has zero business sense. Everything is about being an “Artiste” and showing the “haters”. He is going to keep digging himself deeper in debt and his business minded wife is going to pack her bags eventually. I mean, the main reason she was with him is for credibility and his ranty crazy is eroding even that. What good is he to a Kardashian when he is both broke and Anna Wintour starts evading his calls?

    • Locke Lamora says:

I thought it was Blac Chyna too!

I think somewhere deep down Kanye isn’t an evil person ( the way he treats Catylin is great, especiallx for someone in hip hop), but he has serious issues. Very serious.

I read that the models were paid a 100 dollars and people are complaining? Isn’t that quite a lot for one day? Maybe it isn’t in America.

      • Betti says:

$100 for a catwalk show is slave labour – no model repped by a reputable agency would have gone near him. An agent takes 20% of the fee. Also, catwalk/fashion shows are a lot of work and from the model’s PoV it could be several days work for them as they have to go to fittings, styling, rehearsals, etc…

      • Aussie girl says:

What I can’t get over or understand is those T shirts ..? with he’s deceased mother and Kim’s deceased father, they were wrong in so many ways.

      • The other paige says:

Catwalk shows pay nothing. They are hoping to get editorial work from them.

      • LAK says:

In this case, the 1000 extras were sourced from the internet an the clothes sourced from thrift stores and dyed to match the shoes.

No fittings required. Ad probably went out for standard sizings based on what could be picked up from any thrift store.

The few professional models in the show wore the Kanye designed clothes. And apparently no clothes changes, so apparently since we could only pick out 5 known model faces in that crowd of ‘extras’ on the stage, then Kanye designed exactly 5 outfits and spent the rest of his money buying up thrift store finds.

I’ve also seen suggestions all over the Internet that the K Klan was actually dressed by Balmain, NOT Kanye. Not officially, but their designer apparently designed their outfits which is why they were so different from the stuff on stage.

And actually when you think of the Balmain asthetic, the K Klan’s clothes fit right in.

      • Naya says:

The $100 was for extras not models. The extras were basically just required to stand there while the models catwalked around them. According to Jezebel, they werent even dressed in his designs but flee market stuff that was dyed to match the set.

      • lucy2 says:

That article says they got paid $100 for what ended up being 12 hours of work. That’s less than NY’s minimum wage.

      • swak says:

This wasn’t a true catwalk. All the models did was stand/sit/whatever on a podium. They did not walking and from what I have read they had minimal makeup and very little done with their hair. While it’s not much most of them are not professional models and do not command the type of money professional models do. It’s like being an extra on a movie.

      • Wren says:

I don’t think he’s evil either. He’s a little boy who has never grasped the word “no”. He’s defensive, narcissistic and in love with his own genius. But I don’t think he actively seeks to harm others or has true malintent. All his crazy attacks have been in response to something that he feels he must defend. He’s wrong, of course, and seriously needs to chill.

The little revelation that he’s so deep in debt really explains a lot. The defensiveness, the clinging to the Kardashians, the insistence that we don’t understand his vision, everything. To admit failure of any kind is inconceivable and to be avoided at all costs.

      • Daria Morgendorffer says:

@Aussie girl, I don’t get those shirts either. I’m originally from New Jersey, and t-shirts airbrushed with people’s names and faces on them is a trashy Jersey Shore boardwalk thing, definitely NOT a haute couture thing.

The biggest problem with Kanye’s fashion line is that he’s so desperate to be an innovator–he thinks that he has to go so far against the grain that he has to invent a new look that will change the world. He has had some success. His Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers are wildly popular and there are men in this world who idolize him and wear the tight jeans, ripped shirts, and oversized sweatshirts and hoodies the way that he does. But this isn’t creating the “revolution” that he wants. If he would stop trying so hard to be different and creating these horrible, ugly pieces, he might actually be successful. Kanye’s clothing line collaboration with A.P.C. featured normal (overpriced) clothing and was super popular. His own ego continues to get the better of him and he never realizes it or learns from it.

      • Bridget says:

No one gets paid much for catwalk work. It’s considered “exposure” and you either make a pittance or you may even get paid in clothing. But that’s interesting on the thrift shop clothing and use of extras. Poor Kanye, such a fraud. His own damn fault, but still.

      • Hazel says:

No, $100 for a 10-hour workday is not a lot.

      • Jwoolman says:

In the U.S., a month’s rent can easily cost $800 to $1000 and more even in my town, which is barely in the small city category. Tomatoes are regularly $3 per pound, sometimes on sale down to $2.50 and very rarely down to $2. Apples are usually $3 or more per pound unless they’re local (briefly) or on sale. A cucumber costs nearly $1 for a regular one, $2 for a long English cucumber. Zucchini squash are about $2 per pound now, in warmer weather $1.69 to $1.29. A movie ticket these days seems to cost around $10 or more. A five minute cab ride in my town costs at least $7. The average income in my state is $25,000. A medical insurance policy that covers 80% of medical expenses after you’ve paid a $6000 deductible was about $400 per month for one person. A few minutes in an Emergency Room will easily cost several thousand dollars if you’ve arrived by ambulance for any reason, which 8 years ago cost $750 for a ten minute ride (I had a $15,000 UTI in 2007, because some naive soul decided to call one when I had a fever spike.) 8 years ago, a week of generic antibiotics cost at least $65 for each drug (when I relapsed from the incompetent hospital care and found a real doctor) for several weeks of treatment with two antibiotics.

    • Mia V. says:

I thought it was Blac Chyna too, but she dresses a little better.

    • Elisa the I. says:

Kim looks like a mix of Blac Chyna and Amber Rose. And she is exactly where she wants to be, so I don’t feel any pity for her.
I guess Kayne’s new level of crazy is the result of his recent twitter beef with Amber Rose (which he clearly lost), the backlash from his Bill Crosby tweet, now the huge backlash from his sexist lyrics about Taylor Swift and that his “fashion” is again not received well. Considering that he does not seem like the most stable person I’m not suprised that he now seems close to a total breakdown.

    • Ennie says:

Even Katie Holmes had more business sense than him.
She tried, she got a big store to try to distribute her clothes, she had a designer, she insisted, she even modeled her sad creations, and then she came back to her senses and she gave up.
In the cult she was in, they cannot hear “no”, but she snapped out of it.
What will it take for Kanye to wake up from this illusion of him?
He probably thought that if a Spice girl made it, he who had Anna Wintour in his pocket would, too. Anna should have the guts to tell him that he should create a company that resembles Spanx, compression underwear, etc, instead of spend his money trying to make into high fashion, where he is just looking for validation. That search for validation will make him poor and mentally ill.

    • snakecharmer says:

it look exactly like blac chyna and a little bit latoya jackson with the ball cap and nose job. she was so hot what the hell?!? kim nooooo!!!!!

    • word says:

Kanye also had to pay seat fillers to make it appear the show was “sold out”. I think it was 80 bucks per person, not sure though.

      • Jwoolman says:

I know that, but I’m wondering if Kanye knows they had to pay to fill most of the seats? I can’t figure out what Wintour is getting out of all this. Is Kanye her private charity case or what? She must know what a disaster his shows are and how unredeemably stupid his clothing line is, even for fashion types. I’ve only heard good things about his shoe designs, why not stick with that? Although the prices seem insane and obscene. My mind is boggled at the bought of people paying that. I had to think long and hard before spending $65 on a pair of snow boots (after coupons and discounts and rebates), even though they will likely last the rest of my life the way they are made…

  5. Naya says:

Media Takeout is the scum of tabloid blogs. Think of the dumbest tabloid you can think of, multiply that stupid quotient by a thousand and you end up with MTO. They dont even know how to use spell check. Only a complete moron would read that crap and internalise it to the point of posting a twitter rant.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

ANY criticism is bad criticism. Think about what it says about Kanye’s state of mind and demand for his ‘work’ that days after releasing his clothes and music collection that is greatest focus is a gossip blog that hasn’t been taken seriously since ’08.

      • Daria Morgendorffer says:

So true. It says a lot about him and his mental state that he would take the time out of his superstar celebrity life to complain about what media take out thinks of him, of all criticisms that should matter.

      • Naya says:

Yes, I hadnt think of that. Ranting over an MTO fashion review (!!) says something about his mind right now.

    • me says:

I stopped going to that website a long time ago. It’s horrible. The stories are pulled out of thin air most times. The worst part are the comments. MY GOD. Too much racist sh*t in there.

      • Ally8 says:

I had never even heard of them until these tweets. Actually, I thought it was a concept Kanye made up: yo, media, don’t take me out! Lol. He’s just giving them free publicity.

  6. teatimeiscoming says:

This is all very Emperors New Clothes to me… and Kim is stuck wearing the “clothes.” Bodysocks are foundation undergarments– not outerwear. Yikes.

  7. Jules says:

WTF has happened to her face?

    • Ivy says:

She looks like her own really bad wax figure, about to melt any second. If it weren’t self-inflicted, I’d feel sorry for her.

    • lucy2 says:

The space between her nose and upper lip keeps elongating. She almost has no nose left. I just saw a photo of her from 10 years ago. It’s actually really sad, clearly there’s a plastic surgery addiction and severe issues happening there.

      • me says:

It’s funny how she uses blonde hair as a distraction every single time she gets some work done on her face. She thinks we won’t notice.

    • Daria Morgendorffer says:

The blonde hair really emphasizes just how much she has messed with her face. People were asking the same questions when she bleached her hair in Paris as well. Somehow the dark hair masks it, but when her hair is blonde she looks subhuman because of the copious amounts of work she’s had done.

  8. LAK says:

So much has been said about Kanye this weekend, and I still say this is all for his album roll out, BUT having read that Jezebel piece I am beyond offended that he would take a real life genocide as his fashion inspiration.

I come from that region. And we were not laughing or thinking what a fashion moment the genocide was.

I’m so tried of people losing it when people poke at slavery or the holocaust, but it’s ok to poke at African genocide and make it a fashion moment.

    • Wendy says:

And the fact he dressed the models in refugee rags while styling his own family in glittery jewels and fur…designed by another house of course. The layers of offense with this once are deep and unending.

    • Hannah says:

      Lak

The genocide thing is actually like something out of a parody to show how empty and superficial the fashion world is. I can’t believe that actually happened.

By the way you should read the comments from his long term co writer, posted further down in the comments. He suggest his antics are not just for promotion and all is not well.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

This is why I always roll my eyes when people try to give Kanye credit for his work/struggle as a black man. I truly believe Kanye is one of the most euro-centric black artists out there. As you said he seems to only be concerned about black tragedies and issues when he can find a way to market to or use them for his own ‘genius’.

  9. NewWester says:

Did Kim get more work done on her nose? The space between her nose and upper lip seems wider. That black and white coat is just horrid looking, I am afraid to find out how much it costs.
Hopefully Demon Mother made sure Kim got an ironclad prenup before she married Kanye. He may go after her money if they split, he seems to be running out of cash

    • Naya says:

Well, she was in hospital to have Saint and lets face it, its highly unlikely she didnt take that opportunity to have some nip/tuck. New mother habination is the perfect cover for cosmetic surgery recuperation.

  10. Melibea says:

And also explains why they’re still living with Kim’s mom all this time!

    • Naya says:

But theres no evidence that Kanye lives at Kris’. Besides, Kim is bringing in millions. I really think Kim stays at her mums for two reasons. Firstly, for the shows narrative. Living there adds a storyline plus it allows them to film freely without interfering with Kanye who doesnt want to be filmed. Secondly, Kanye only wants a weekend wife. In the three years they’ve been a couple they’ve always been a long distance relationship. Clearly, the man doesnt want to live with her.

  11. jeanpierre says:

He admitted being broke a long time ago. He’s the sole investor in all his fashion ventures over the years. And right, Kanye ain’t sh*t and never have been but he used to make up for it and be self-driven and coherent. As a longtime fan I am truly lost by his behavior since fitbabgate. But hey what do I know. “Soon as they like you, make them unlike you” as he said, maybe he’s doing just that.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

      Fitbagate?

      • jeanpierre says:

Maybe that were not the right words to express it. Fitbab debacle? Fitbab as fingersinthebootyassb*tch
        🙂

      • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

LMAO. Ohhh. Now I get it. For some reason my mind thought you were talking about fitbits and I was trying to imagine what exercise related scandel involving Kanye that I missed.

I think he was quiet for so long we all assumed he had somewhat calmed down and retreated and then fitbab happened and started a wave of him going back to his erratic behavior.

  12. cee says:

He is so overblown. His clothing line is boring and his music is dated. Why do people even care about his crazy tweets. He is not a scholar or even well schooled on world issues. He just makes a lot of noise and people pretend like he is something special. We need to get real about who he and his wife are. Looking to make a buck just like everybody else and using whatever (sex, lies and videotapes) to do it.

    • BNA Fn says:

Now I see why they dragged out barely coherent LO to his Salvation Army designers show. KW must be trying to scam poor LO out of a few millions. I saw on another site that KW co writer says he has cut ties with KW saying HE needs mental health help, ECT. LETS SEE HOW LONG KK stays with him now that he is broke. Imo, the KK clans are all about the money. What good is a broke KW to their brand.

      • jeanpierre says:

He’s always been broke since he got with Kim and he is cash-broke, not asset-broke. The K won’t cut ties with him, never ever. They’re not and never will be in the same lane.

      • Christin says:

I really question why they brought LO to this show. Seems everything they do is self serving, so I doubt it was purely for his well being.

  13. Betti says:

Also explains Kim’s grasping ways – she has a loser of a husband who spends money like it grows on trees. If she’s supporting him and his extravagant lifestyle as well as the rest of the K Klan, i would look miserable most of the time as well. But saying that i have little sympathy for her – she married him for the fame and media attention that comes with him.

  14. lilacflowers says:

Minus 9 degrees at the moment. Do you think Kim would lend me that red bathrobe?

    • Aarika says:

Is that celcius? Because you’re doing better than me since where I am it’s currently -33 celcius. I would just rip that robe off of her lol

    • Kitten says:

My car made the craziest sound when I started it this morning, Lilac. It actually shrieked.

  15. SKF says:

Yikes. He seems to be dressing Kim like Amber but amber pulls it off and Kim just looks awful and uncomfortable. Also, what is in her mouth? Looks like the ball if a tongue piercing? Anyway, this is some epic shit. I like some of his music and I respect his love for his family and open support of Caitlyn; but Kanye is quite unhinged in many respects and needs to be brought back to earth. I like his sneakers but his clothes are hideous and unflattering.

    • Alarmjaguar says:

I was wondering what was in her mouth as well. Looks like a ball bearing, so tongue piercing is a good guess.

  16. D says:

She looks like Cruella de Vil in that coat. And it doesn’t help that it kinda looks like the fur of an old english sheepdog…what if it is? I really wouldn’t put it past them to do that.

    • zinjojo says:

And this is a different black and white fur coat from the one she wore a few days ago. I thought this one looked fluffier — like an old English sheepdog as you pointed out D — and went back to the post from Thursday. So she has two hideous, and I’m sure extravagantly expensive, ugly-a$$ B&W fur coats. These people are genuinely delusional.

  17. Frank says:

The Kanye situation is so bad. He clearly has some type of mental illness. He clearly never coped with death of his mum. What’s sad about this situation is that no one close to him cares enough to interven. I am so afraid this is not going end well . I just feel that very soon it won’t be laughing matter

    • Colette says:

I have been saying he is mentally ill for years.I also said Amanda Bynes was mentally ill for years .Most people laughed it off until she almost set that dog on fire.Hopefully he won’t injure someone.Sad.As for Kardashians ,he may be more valuable to them, when he is dead.

    • lisa2 says:

I think he is not happy. Hasn’t been happy for a long time. I’m not blaming Kim.. People are responsible for their own happiness or the making of..

      Kim doesn’t look happy either.
He has some serious problems. Kim needs to think about her children.

  18. Eleonor says:

Kim is orange, Pippa orange, which is not good AT ALL.
Gosh he is exhausting, and I feel only for the people who have to deal with his crazyness for job. I think he is simply an idiot.

  19. Turningvioletviolet says:

I’m looking around to see what part of my world changed when he released that last collection. Nope, can’t identify anything.

And $53million? Wow. I get a bit anxious if I owe £10 to the bank. Different worlds.

  20. Jayna says:

One of his co-writers,Rhymefest, who has worked with him on songs before said this yesterday, that Kanye needs mental health counseling when someone tweeted him that he needs to take over his twitter for him. He talked about why he stepped away a month ago.

“I love my brother. I pray for his health not our entertainment”

“my brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal”

The full twitter exchange is here..
    http://www.spin.com/2016/02/kanye-west-co-writer-rhymefest-mental-health-counseling/

    • Colette says:

I read this yesterday.I wonder where his biological family is,his mom’s family and his dad’s family.Obviously the Kardashian-Jenners are enablers. He needs an intervention.

    • Frank says:

Yes thank you . I keep saying this but people want to gossip about this and make fun it . There is nothing funny here. The man needs help this is tragedy waiting to happen

    • Hannah says:

I just posted the same article from billboard.
rhymefest has known Kanye since the early days he cowrote Jesus walks and several big hits. The rumour is he was the ghostwriter behind most of the early lyrics. This makes sense when you see how poor his lyrics are these days.

It’s interesting to me that someone who knows Kanye Very well says he’s unwell
Yet so many in the public will say his irrational behaviour is just promotion.

      • Bridget says:

I don’t think anyone thinks that Kanye is just hyping. I do however think that Kanye thinks he’s hyping his work, though. Rhymefest hit the nail on the head: Kanye ‘ surrounded himself with too many Yes people for too long, and has lost touch. He must have a lot of deep rooted personal insecurity to need to think that every move he makes is genius and revolutionary. But I still say that there’s an awful lot of armchair psychologists trying to diagnose someone via Twitter.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Damn, I didn’t know Rhymefest worked with Kanye. I love R’s songs individually. As for Kanye, smh, not shocking but this isn’t the family that’s gonna help him.

      • me says:

I always thought in the rap world it was frowned upon to not write your own rhymes?

      • Hannah says:

Rhymefest wrote Jesus walks. He’s written on all of kanyes albums. He’s talked about being uncredited ghost writer before.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Amber rose was right when she said travis Scott writes kanyes songs consequence complained Kant didn’t credit a handful of songs he has written.
Kanye is mainly about production that is where he’s talented in my opnion. But the songwriting is where the money is so I guess like a lot of superstars he takes credit for stuff he didn’t write.

  21. Hannah says:

I disagree that he’s always been this bad.

Interestingly, one of his long term collaborators Rhymefest ( who has co-written rumoured to also ghostwritten a lot of his early lyrics) Says Kanye needs councilling, that he is lost right now.
    http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/hip-hop/6875189/kanye-west-co-writer-rhymefest-life-of-pablo-quits-says-rapper-needs-counseling

    • Aussie girl says:

Thanks Hannah for the link. I think your right, this illustrates that Kayne is getting worse and not in a good space. To many yes people. Oh and btw where was Kris’s partner the other night..? Normally he’s her hand bag.

  22. laura says:

The guy is delusional. The world changed because of his sh*t clothes?? Gimme a break. If his clothes are so revolutionary, so world changing, then why is he bankrolling the entire thing and getting into huge amounts of debt? I’ve seen celebs go bankrupt owing less. He must have some serious unresolved issues causing him to behave this way but the Kardashian money train has no time to allow a person to seek help or therapy or whatever he needs.

    • me says:

If Kanye is mentally ill, he shouldn’t be anywhere near Kim. Kim doesn’t believe in any of that. Remember what she said about Rob? She basically told him to just “get over it”. But what is it with the males in this family. Lamar had mental issues, Scott, Rob, and Kanye (though he wasn’t that stable to begin with)…yet the women in that family are doing just fine (other than the issue of being self-obsessed). Hmmm makes you wonder how destructive that family environment really is.

  23. Aarika says:

For the first time ever, I believe that Kanye is actually suffering from some mental health issues. This post didn’t mention it but his longtime co-writer Rymefest says he quit because he think Kanye needs help for his mental health. He’s always been eccentric but this feels…different. I love Kanye and this makes me sad.

  24. Lambda says:

He definitely should be more percautious with Twitter.

  25. Jaana says:

The epic drama that will ensue when Kim files for divorce 😁😁.
    I am here for it.

    • lisa2 says:

If that happened Kim has a lot of stuff to fight with. Maybe she is just sitting back letting him dig his own grave and when and if she leaves everyone will be on her side in all of it. She is smart enough to not be living in a house alone with him now. She lives with her mother and her kids.

  26. kitcat says:

Possibility in a Bi-Polar Mania episode the overly hyper confidence and thinks hes “god” is differently something that can happen in a person in a full blown manic episode.
Its sad to see , But the Media loves mental illness because the manic behavior make great headlines.

    – Needing less sleep in order to feel rested
    -Talking very rapidly or excessively
    – Distractibility
    – Fast thoughts
    – Tendency to show poor judgment, such as impulsively deciding to quit a job
-Inflated self-esteem or grandiosity — unrealistic beliefs in one’s ability, intelligence, and powers; may be delusional
-Reckless behaviors (such as lavish spending sprees, impulsive sexual indiscretions, abuse of alcohol or drugs, or ill-advised business decisions)

    • Naya says:

Did this site report about the frantic rant that came in mutilple tweets where he attacked a sports shoe brand (Puma???) for trying to sign Kylie to a deal. And declared that Kylie will always be Team Kanye. He genuinely believes a corporation was trying to destroy his family. Then a while later he tweeted “nobody text me until Monday” at the world; presumably because he didnt want his stream of consciousness interrupted. That was the day I really started worry.

      • kitcat says:

I’m not sure, but that’s paranoid behavior too, the above ^^^ is the list of manic type behaviors. I guess we can just hope that’s someone is taking care of this mental health because the cracks are really starting to show.

    • LA says:

I think he has been ill for some time. My sister in law is bipolar so I know the symptoms all too well. Years ago, someone released an audio clip of a rant he was on about Taylor Swift. My immediate thoughts were “this guy is on cocaine or manic.” He was talking a mile a minute, so angry, making no sense…drugs or illness (or possibly both). Its really sad and I hope he gets help

  27. Hannah says:

I feel that if a woman acted this way people would question their well being more
I think because he’s always been outspoken people make excuses. However his early controversial moments are not anything as bad as this. For instance When he said George bush doesn’t care about black people he seemed genuine and lucid. He had a point in the aftermath of katrina
Lately all his rants are incoherent, petty and paranoid, I mean how can someone get in a rage over a site like mediatakeout. They are not even a fashion site. No other designer would even care about what such a site thinks about their collection.

  28. Armenthrowup says:

I am confused about what Kim gets from this marriage…her entire life is controlled by this little tw*t – is that what she likes? Does she just not want to think for herself? He’s largely absent from her life unless it benefits him somehow – I just don’t get it. Is it because she wants a sexless marriage (I’m just speculating) – does she like the fact he’s never at home (after all she hated the fact that she’d have to live with Kris Humpries after marriage). I just don’t get it at all.

    • Murphy says:

The Kardashians were finally on the way out (stupid Humphries marriage, Lamar was out of the NBA, no one gives a f about Scott) when Kanye came into the picture. His PR marriage has kept them both afloat

    • Bridget says:

She couldn’t even buy her way into the Met Ball before Kanye, now she gets front row seats to just about any designer and was on the cover of Vogue. Kim has gotten A LOT out of her relationship with Kanye.

  29. Crumpet says:

“HAVE YA’LL EVER SEEN TRON? THE END OF THE TRON WHERE EVERYTHING LIGHT UP!!!!”

    The man is not well.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

That is a moment of pause in a sea of illogical rambling.

      “Have you ever seen Tron?”

*set to the tune of ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain?’

  30. lisa2 says:

I’m sure he is in debt.. Those homes they build and remodel and never move into. They have been married for over 2 years and still don’t have their own home. He is a married father of 2 children; and his wife and kids live with her mother. He spends all that time doing his thing but not providing a home for his family. It is obvious that he probably lives some place else on a daily basis. Heck even Kim’s baby sister has her own home.

  31. Murphy says:

If Kim is supporting the famil (which I don’t doubt, I love that HE is the gold digger in this) then let her go back to dressing herself. She wasn’t an amazing fashionista but she looked better when she picked her own outfits.

    • Lucy says:

I thought I was the only one who thought so!!! Sure, she didn’t exactly stand out, but her street style used to be cute, flattering, and wearable for the most part.

  32. Daria Morgendorfer says:

Well, Kanye supposedly raps about lexapro and his unstable mental health on this new album, so that answers a lot of questions. I haven’t heard it yet but read 3 reviews this morning that mentioned this.

Kim looks atrocious–major LaToya Jackson vibes from her face… That blonde wig really brings out how her nose has become a tiny sliver. I’m also beginning to think Kanye loves the blonde hair on her bc it gives her a mysterious look that makes it difficult to tell what her ethnicity is.

Yikes @ him being $53 mill in the hole for that joke of a fashion line. Media take out claims one of Kanye’s oldest friends is being vocal that he’s mentally unwell and needs to get help, and also claims that he’s surrounded by yes men. I’m sure it’s true–if Kanye had any real friends in his life (including Kim) they would’ve told him this is not the path for him a long time ago and could’ve saved him a ton of money. He needs to give it up bc fashion is not his calling.

Wonder how fast Kim will file for divorce when he finally goes off the deep end.

    • Jag says:

If he’s only on an antidepressant and he’s bipolar, that could be bad. Some people – myself included – also need something to bring us down from the mania; just being on an antidepressant can make things worse because there is no longer a “low,” but only “high.”

  33. jeanpierre says:

I don’t think Kim will ever divorce him, and totally not now. If he’s ever being held she’ll win the lottery. Now I think that is what the Klan is aiming for since the very beginning of this relationship. I don’t think Kanye is mentally ill but he could very well break down like every person with this lifestyle and all the crazy-enabling.

I am not a shrink but I know one doesn’t declare schizophrenia or bipolar disorder at age 38. It’s a 20-something thing, as it was for Britney Spears and Amanda Bynes. And one cannot function like Kanye did all these years without medication. Lexapro is for mild anxiety. So there’s that. Maybe it’s drugs, I don’t know.

    • frank says:

He is probably self medicating to cope. That was most people with mental illnesses do. This is really sad. Everything he is doing is making the situation worse. this album will do badly it bad from what i listened too. I think people recognize he has issues but being around the KK family is not going to help because they love attention and abuse every thing they can get. His poor mother. Someone maybe Jay Z should do something but i doubt anyone will help this guy. Mental Illness is a serious thing

    • Bootsie says:

Actually my uncle was diagnosed with bipolar at 40 – it developed following a bad case of glandular fever that he had, though it does run in the familyfamily.

    • snakecharmer says:

not necassarily about bipolar d/o or schizophrenia. mental illness can remain undiagnosed or the individual can be high functioning

    • jeanpierre says:

You can’t cope schizophrenia or bipolar disorder with anything. See how drugs didn’t work at all for Spears and Bynes. If you are functioning, then you’re not ill. I think like someone down the comments that he deals with anxiety and depression, nothing more.

      • Jag says:

Sorry, but that isn’t true, jeanpierre. Many people are diagnosed with bipolar disorder late in life, as well as when they are children. My diagnosis was in my mid-twenties, after being misdiagnosed for almost ten years. I’ve been bipolar since I was a child.

Saying that if a person is functioning means that they are not ill is like saying that someone with diabetes who is controlling their blood sugar properly is not ill – it’s incorrect. You can be functioning and have bipolar disorder. And there are different levels of the disorder as well, with some people being suicidal every time they get depressed and thinking they’re God every time they get manic, or not so much. One of the types has psychotic breaks, aka audio or visual hallucinations as well, while the other does not.

The goal of therapy – whether it’s medication, behavior modification, and/or otherwise – is to become functioning enough to be independent.

Lexapro is also for depression. It was my antidepressant while under the care of a psychiatrist for my bipolar disorder. (I’m currently without medical insurance, so cannot afford medication at this time.)

And last but not least, Spears and Bynes went off the rails prior to their diagnoses. It also averages about two and a half years for a bipolar person to find the right combination of medications and therapy to become stable. For some it’s quicker, for some it takes longer, and some unfortunate souls never find the right combination. I can’t speak about schizophrenia because I don’t have it, so will defer to others on that subject.

Yeah, maybe I’m wrong as I said I am not a pro. I’m a little familiar with bipolar disorder because my aunt have it and I take care of her. She’s the sweetest person. She’s not every person with bipolar disorder I understand that. She also was misdiagnosed during 25+ years but still during those years she was under medication (wrong one), she went several times to psych wards and she couldn’t maintain a job, nor function properly in this society most of the times. Just like the friends she met in those psych wards.
People who are diagnosed late in life still show signs early in life. Sorry but I just can’t see someone with bipolar disorder having that successful and tiring of a career without proper medication. Kanye have outbursts, he behaves like an entitled douche and he seems very inspired by Kardashians ways of handling publicity, that’s it for me. We’ll see.
I wish you the best in life Jag 🙂

  34. word says:

Ummm we know he’s always been crazy. We just can’t believe that he keeps getting away with it. How has his career not ended yet? No surprise he’s in personal debt. The way him and Kim spend money is crazy. You really think Kim is better off financially? I bet she’s not far behind him. Kim has mentioned many times that she is not good with money and has a bad spending habit. Now we know why they keep moving back in with Kris. Anyways who cares. I feel sorry for none of them. Kim can say “no” I don’t want to wear that. She’s bad at fashion as much as Kanye is bad at fashion.

    • Bridget says:

The Kardashian wealth has always been something as a scam as well, though it would appear that they at least have good cash flow now. Their lifestyle can’t be cheap.

  35. Ally says:

I don’t feel sorry for Kim AT ALL. She made her bed; she can damn well lie in it. Personally, I think she’s trying to look like Blac Chyna did when she made her first appearance on KUWTK (as a friend of Kim).

I’m not surprised he’s deep in debt. There have been rumours about them not being able to finish construction on their homes because they can’t afford to pay the workers; plus it does seem odd that Kim has never leased a place while all the construction work is going on, instead staying with her mother (and moaning about it to anyone who will listen).

The first house they bought – in Bel Air – and tore apart was perfectly fine the way it was before they ‘remodeled’ it and left it for dead … and as for ripping out the pool and putting it in a different direction? What a waste of money! As for their second purchase – Lisa Marie Presley’s former home/vineyard in Hidden Hills which they’re currently ‘renovating’ – that was absolutely stunning to begin with. They’ll rip this one apart too, destroying it in the process … all for what, exactly? So they can stick that back on the market for a $10m more asking price just because Yeezus and his Missus owned it? Pffft!

I don’t believe the Kardashians are as cashed up as they make out either – they all live over the top lifestyles and I doubt E! foots the bill for ALL the private plane journeys and constant rotation of new cars (whether they’re leased or not makes no difference – they’d still cost a fortune). This family is just all smoke and mirrors which I think will become evident one day when their show gets cancelled.

As for their lucrative endorsement deals and clothing lines … their days are numbered in the case of the former, I feel; in the case of the latter their stuff just does not sell.

    • The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Thank you, why would I feel sorry for Kim?

If she’s uncomfortable, too bad, she’s a grown woman who could say no anytime.

    • dagdag says:

I could not reply individully, so I used your Reply:

I am tired of people throwing around the boderline personality disorder on Kanye West.

A borderline personality disorder based on a clinical assessment needs psycho therapy and medication.

Therapy in order to understand the disorder and how do deal with it, like, hyperventilation versus heart attack, and medication for being able to live a regular life and medication having severe side effects. People who cancelled medication, can tell their horror of this.

Without those two types of treatments, a person with, see 2nd sentence, can not live a so called normal life, ref., hygiene, paying bills, opening letters, etc. , depending on the stage they are on.

In other words, a borderline personality disorder without treatment and help can not function in daily life in our society.

Personality disorders differ naturally, being disrespecful to others and being misogynist is a character trait and has nothing to do with this kind of personality disorder.

So, being a misogynist and an asshole does not make you bioploar and bipolar does not make you a
      misogynist and an asshole.

      • Kitten says:

Thank you. I can believe he suffers from anxiety or depression, but people are making it seem like he needs to be in a psych ward.

      • Jag says:

@dagdag- I just want to point out that Borderline Personality Disorder is different from Bipolar Disorder I and II.

As for what makes me think he’s bipolar? His rants and comparing himself to God and famous figures when he goes off. I used to get quite uppity about myself when I would get manic, too.

      • jeanpierre says:

He always compared himself to famous figures. I don’t think he is deluded on that point. He really is one of the biggest (hip-hop) artist of all times, many don’t like it but it remains true. He has a freaking solid discography. He changed the game several times. He inspired a lot of his peers.I didn’t hear his new album because I am mad at him but I read it’s fire and I totally believe it. That man knows what he is doing.

      • Jwoolman says:

Many borderlines do manage to function, just not terribly well… Often it can be many years before they are diagnosed, and in the meantime they go about their daily business, baffling people who have to deal with them 🙂 but nothing that would get them hauled in on a psychiatric hold.

There are different degrees of the disorder also. Actually borderlines are more likely to know something is wrong and to seek help from a therapist, so more is known about things to try to help them cope more successfully and be happier. I don’t think much is known about the biochemistry of it, although there can be drug treatments for problems that can co-exist with the primary disorder, which can help. It’s not a fun ride for the person with it.

    • Daria Morgendorffer says:

“The first house they bought – in Bel Air – and tore apart was perfectly fine the way it was before they ‘remodeled’ it and left it for dead … and as for ripping out the pool and putting it in a different direction? More of Kanye’s psycho controlling behavior at play. Nothing is ever good enough, including his wife. Kanye clearly spends his time seeing things that he likes, taking them and trying to make them better, but because he’s never satisfied, he continues to tweak them until he’s tired of them and has to leave them behind. Moving a pool from one location to another is psychopathic and obsessive. Saying that Kim is perfect yet finding it necessary to change so much about her is also psychopathic and controlling. This sort of behavior is evident in just about everything we read about him. Look at the directions he gave to the models in his show–he wanted to micromanage every single thing they did from start to finish. He has a lot of apologists but I think at this point everyone is questioning his mental health now.

      • Christin says:

And apparently he handling finances in a responsible way is much further down the list in his quest for perfection. What is mentioned here is just wasting money, pure and simple.

      • Bridget says:

Just about every celebrity remodels the home after they buy it. It doesn’t matter how lovely it is, there’s a mentality that if you’ve got the $$$ to buy these homes, you’ve got to then tear it up to make it your own. And this is EXACTLY the kind of thing that Kim would do – the kind of woman who not only picks out all of her own Christmas presents but also has them wrapped and just sends the gifter the bill.

      • Floydy says:

That explains spending the four day honeymoon fixing the one wedding photo. Sad.

    • dawn says:

I think you are right. And I really don’t think they can continue to get contracts based on their so called followings on Instagram and Twitter when the sales never match up with the number of followers. It may take a moment but I think companies will catch on and once that happens they will be done. They aren’t as popular as the media would have us believe.

  36. The Eternal Side-Eye says:

Smh, if the man doesn’t have mental health issues then he’s a bigger fool then I’ve seen in quite some time.

How do you fall into the same trap not once, twice, but over and over?

Genius is recognized by others Kanye, if they do not recognize yours it is because you have none. I’m sure there’ll be rage tweets to come for days, nothing worked out for him. His clothing line is a joke, his music is mediocre, the peasants aren’t throwing roses at him everywhere he goes.

  37. Che says:

I think he said it best with ” people were crying , people were throwing up” yup that about covers it

  38. word says:

I don’t know. Everything this family does is so calculated. They only let out “info” that they want out there. If Kanye told the world he’s in debt, there was a reason he said it. Sympathy won’t help him move records though. If he’s so “out of control” I highly doubt Kim or PMK would ever let Kanye just tweet crazy sh*t. One day he could just go off on them and spill all the family secrets. I bet Kim has his twitter password ! I wonder who really controls who? Perhaps Kanye is a better actor than we though? Who knows the truth. Anything is possible with this family.

  39. Kitten says:

I can’t help but feel bad for the guy… I know I shouldn’t but he seems so passionate about fashion and music and it’s sad to see him failing miserably at both. That’s got to be devastating.

He lost me as a fan along time ago, but deep, deep down there’s a part of me that’s still rooting for him. I’m not proud of that fact, but that’s how I feel.

  40. Jessie says:

Just read the review of his new CD in the guardian. His talent is recognised. They say it’s very uneven and lyrically he has nothing to say.

  41. Jen43 says:

53 MILLION DOLLARS in debt?!! Is that true? I would be suicidal.

This puts things in a new light. He can’t even afford their tacky, offensive lifestyle. Here I thought he was indulging Kim, but turns out she is supporting him. I just can’t imagine PMK is going to let him run through all of Kim’s money. No way. Their marriage is on a timer.

  42. raggagirl says:

hey yall, long time lurker from Ireland. My view is that Kanye is gay but for some reason can’t/won’t come out. I don’t know why, he has been very eloquent on homophobia in Rap.

Kim’s shoes prove money can’t buy class, or even klass.

  43. Bridget says:

FWIW I didn’t think Gervais tried to dead name Caitlyn, and it’s hard to make the comparison between someone who is a family member and knows her and who Caitlyn is a real person vs. someone who is trying to reference past and present public personas.

As for Kanye… What on earth would he be spending that much money on? I don’t get it. He paired with Adidas for the last line, and I would guess that his album and tour sold enough to at least make $$$ back and not leave him in debt. Is he seriously looking for an investor to back his line and pay back his personal real estate debt?!? I guess those walls of roses don’t come cheap.

    • LAK says:

If it’s true that he is the sole investor in his fashion line, then he is both an idjit and unlikely to make money until he ‘designs’ fashion that the public want to wear.

That said, the clothing part of fashion rarely makes money. Even for long established houses. The money ie profits lie with the accessories, perfume and make up. The fashion is an indulgence in the greater scheme of things.

Rare is the fashion house without the merchandising side of things.

Now Kanye has a deal with Adidas, but I bet that only limited to licencing his name to them and maybe bankrolling a fashion show.

Anything above and beyond is on him.

Adidas has enough lines, plebian and designer, to absorb any losses they make on Kanye’s shoes.

      • Bridget says:

And that’s where I’m having a hard time making the connection. What’s the point of licensing with Adidas if you’re going to have to pay to produce your own line? And even then, I thought his line was a very limited production, how can he be so far in the hole? Especially since the damn Yeezy shoes do actually sell (though I’m assuming he only gets a small %age for that). How bad is he with business and money to be this far in debt? Kanye isn’t making couture. He’s not making handmade, high end items that cost a lot to produce. That’s the whole point of a lifestyle/sportswear brand, that they don’t cost the same amount to produce and don’t need high markup, gateway, items like handbags and perfume, and it’s supposed to MAKE money. Seriously, I don’t get it.

      • word says:

They would never make losses on Kanye’s shoes because his shoes are always just a “limited release” and therefore sell out fast. If they were to sell them nationwide or on a global scale, Adidas would lose money for sure.

I’m pretty sure his clothing line is also “limited release”. Kanye doesn’t have the confidence to sell anything that isn’t in limited release.

      • Bridget says:

$53 million dollars. How does he even get at that number without including his personal debt? Which then means he’s looking for an investor to bankroll his crappy real estate deals, his tacky wedding (gold toilet box!), and his tacky wife. Good luck finding your investor, dude.

    • swak says:

What does it cost to rent out Madison Square Garden?

  44. msw says:

I am really starting to wonder if he goes through manic phases or if he is just a narcissist. I don’t believe in armchair diagnosing, but these rants…. he acts like such a twit.

  45. Jessie says:

There’s been rumours of his overspending for years even before the fashion line. A few years ago he claimed to be 16 mill in debt from his fashion line. I could believe he’s in debt although he’s a man that likes to exaggerate ..the numbers may not be precise.

  46. Tessa says:

    He is mentally ill.
So far we have flight of ideas, delusions of grandeur and persecution, neologism.
Exorbitant spending and irrational financial behaviour… I think I could section him on the back of Twitter and still get it upheld at tribunal

  47. Jaded says:

These people disgust me and I wish they would just fade into obscurity.

  48. word says:

    “please pray we overcome” ???

Everyone stop what you’re doing, get on your knees and pray Kanye makes millions this year. Forget your own problems, forget those in real need, Kanye’s “money problems” are the most important thing to pray about right now.

  49. Mar says:

I thought that was Black Chyna in the first pic. All of these people look alike anymore

  50. Lrm says:

They are both suffering from programming just like Brittany and amanda and most of the big music and film or TV stars. People think that mk ultra movie was a joke or beyonce making fun of the corny illuminati rumors. And most people have heard the comments regarding Disney child stars but the rabbit whole is indeed deep. These folks are literally not in control of their thoughts let alone behaviors. They all have self destruct programming which is activated if necessary if programming breaks down beyond repair. This is a big topic with a long history so I will just leave it at that. But remember the Torrey spelling article about her alter ego who pees everywhere? And corey feldman talking about Hollywood pedophiles. Even without deeper programming, victims of abuse will split their identity as a survival mechanism.

Sorry state of affairs for all. Poor north and the other kids in that clan. They don’t stand a chance.

If you could make $53 million for Twitter trolling, Kanye would be set for life. He’s an absolute genius at social media. That Tron tweet is gold.

  58. Jwoolman says:

Maybe he’s setting people up for a Save Kanye telethon?

  59. Juniper says:

It’s even worse in the last 24. He’s pushing hard for Zukerberg to give him money. I think it’s actually quite telling that he goes to see Hamilton – which from what everyone says – IS truly amazing and innovative and new and fresh and what does he say about it? Nothing. No tweet. No inspiration. Nada. He’s an emperor with no clothes.

    • Ennie says:

HAHAHA I took a look at Mar Zuckerberg’s FB and in the comments I checked there are a few calling Mark about Kanye’s tweets, I’ll post parts of the messages here for you to see:
      .
A guy named Karlo:Dear Mr. Zuckerberg, my girlfriend and I are living in a small 2 room flat in Ingolstadt. Both of us are working but because of exploding real estate prices we can not afford a bigger 3 room flat to expand or family. This and the story of Kanye West leads me to the question: could you donate me the ridiculous amount of 500.000€ to buy a flat? For that I would invite you to a coffee and a nice party night in Ingolstadt or Berlin.
      Kind regards, Karlo
      .
Another named Noel (excusing Kanye, hahaha): Kanye West is reaching out to you on Twitter. And although at times he can be a bit much. I think he is means well. Maybe you should see what he has to say.
      .
And this straightforward message that has a lot of hilarious responses: Kanye West is trying to communicate with you via his Twitter I think you should take a look

  60. Kate says:
