Here is our Open Post for this year’s Grammy Awards, held tonight on CBS at 8 pm EST and likely go on until 11:30 or longer. I always forget that too, that the Grammys are one of those neverending shows. Your Open Post hosts are two couples from Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammy party (which was held Sunday night). First, we have Miranda Kerr and her billionaire boyfriend Evan Spiegel. I had been saying Miranda looked knocked up last week, but in these photos, she looks like she’s back to her slim self. So… no billionaire-baby YET. The second couple is… Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. Are they back together? Are they still split up but just friendly? I have no idea.
As for the Grammys, my God, this is going to suck so hard. Prepare yourselves. LL Cool J is the MC/host of the night. Taylor Swift is opening the night. Lady Gaga has eight minutes to pay tribute to David Bowie. Ellie Goulding is doing a collaboration (her voice irritates me), Justin Bieber will perform with Diplo and Skrillex. Johnny Depp and the Hollywood Vampires will perform a tribute. I’m looking forward to some stuff though: Adele is performing, as is The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar (not together). The cast of Hamilton will perform. Gary Clarke Jr. is performing Bonnie Raitt and Stapleton, which actually sounds sort of brilliant.
All that being said, it’s going to be a terrible night for fashion, so buckle up and drink something caffeinated, because there are going to be some extreme lulls during this show. I honestly don’t think they were actually legally married. And Miranda and Orlando each have a nanny to look after him when they’re home or busy.

It’s 2016, that boy has two parents both of whom can afford childcare. Single moms are allowed to have jobs that require them to travel and (hold onto your pearls, Doris) can also have a dating life.

I don’t like miranda kerr. I don’t trust this while organic everything, health freak persona crap she puts out. I know first hand that she used to be a heavy smoker. She was also insufferable on a photoshoot back in 2006/07. She’s a nasty piece of work.
That said, why doesn’t orlando get the whole “who’s looking after the child?!” questioning? She’s allowed to have a life as well and it looks like she cares for Flynn more than orlando does.

If it had been about Orlando my question would have been the same. fiona and miffy you are not the arbiters of comments and you don’t get to say what is acceptable for other commenters to say. So far, this Grammys has been really boring and slow. They are even taking up beat songs and slowing them down (Weeknd, etc.). The Lionel tribute got a little peppier at the end, but I don’t know if it was enough to shake me out of my Grammys induced coma.

The piano mic fell into the piano, which was that “tinny” sound (like an off-pitch guitar). I think it threw her off. I wish the pianist would’ve just stopped and let her sing acapella.

Yeah……I get what they were trying to do….they wanted a shape shifter to reflect Bowie’s evolution as an artist. But she stayed Ziggy Stardust the whole time and the effects became distracting. They overshadowed the tribute. They shoulda had Mick, Macca and Ringo do something. His contemporaries. Because no one can do Bowie trying to be Bowie even with a voice like Gaga’s. Nice try though.
Gaga can go all the way away now. She is just terrible in all possible ways.
