As many of you pointed out yesterday, Kim Kardashian takes tips from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when it comes to deflecting to her kids after a “controversial” week. Not only did Kim end last week’s drama by posting a photo of Saint West, but she and Kanye also did a friendly sort of pap stroll at Westfield Mall on Sunday. It wasn’t just a stroll for the hell of it though – North West got invited to a birthday party at Build A Bear, and the look on her face says that this was going to be EPIC. Like, she’s SO excited to be in this mall.
Meanwhile, Kanye keeps tweeting, although he’s been keeping the beefs to a minimum in the past week or so (minus whatever that was with DeadMau5). Over the weekend, Kanye announced “No more fashion calendar … I’m going Mad Max … 6 collections a year … 3 albums a year.” Meaning that after The Life of Pablo, Kanye’s going to put out two more albums this year? And five more collections? Sure, Jan.

She is seriously the sweetest, cutest little one in Hollywood. Precious little girl!!
Maybe it’s the fact that Kourtney has had the least (if any, idk) surgery on her face, but to me North looks so much like Kourtney. My own daughter is my sister’s twin and I love it. lol She is so cute!
Kourtney did have a nose job but it wasn’t drastic and she certainly still looks like herself compared to her throwback pictures. So yeah, I can totally see auntie Kourtney in her face. Beautiful child. Also, my oldest looks like one of my sisters. Uncanny resemblance, and she’s my half-sister, so I feel ya on the strong aunt genes lol.
One of my friends is aunt to a very cute teenage girl who is her aunt’s SPITTING IMAGE. It’s uncanny. My friend looks totally like their mother, her sister looks totally like their father. The grandmother’s genes seem to just have jumped a generation in her.
Fun fact: When the girl was a toddler, her mother and aunt would take a walk with her in her stroller, and everyone they encountered would go: “Ooooh, she looks so much like her mommie!” – and look at my friend, the girl’s aunt.
She is so precious. I’d like to be negative about her parents for using this as a family friendly pap stroll but one look at her excited little face and I can’t.
North is a cutie. I do hope they let her hair breath when she’s at home and not always have it pulled back so tight.
Those look like pretty loose cornrows to me. I know her mom’s not Black, but little Black girls usually don’t walk around with their hair “undone” at home. Although I’m sure her curls and/or ‘fro (like Blue Ivy’s) would be cute.
First, those are braids, not cornrows. I just think that constantly having her hair pulled back like that is damaging, as it would be for anybody. Has nothing to do with being black. I make my granddaughters (white) take their hair out of their ponytails at night to give the hair and scalp a break.

Swak – Santia is correct, those are loose cornrows, not braids. And yes, when it comes to hair it has to do with race. Letting little Black girls hair loose can result in tangles, which can be painful when trying to comb out the hair. So yes, it often needs to be braided; it does not have to be tightly pulled back but it needs to be braided. That may or may not be true for little North, given her hair texture. If I were to leave my daughter’s hair loose at night, it would be a complete nightmare in the morning to untangle. By the way I am Black. Also it is pointless to say it is not about race but then include race in your final point. Not trying to be snarky – just saying…

You’re telling me that 2 rows of braids on each side are considered cornrows? I always believed when talking about cornrows that it involved a lot more braiding than that so I guess I don’t know what cornrows are. Second, I never said they should leave North’s hair undone at night but at some point, I believe they should give her scalp and hair follicles a rest from being pulled – loose or not there is still some pulling going on. Sorry if bringing up the race of my granddaughters was wrong in your eyes, but I truly thought it would help to know that I was dealing with hair that was of a different texture than black hair.
Cornrows is a type of braid, but instead of one big braid (pig tails), it has three pieces fed into each other that run along the entire side of the head. That’s the best explanation of it that I can muster at this time. It’s the same thing Kim has on her head. They’re called cornrows – it’s a braided row of hair.

Once you’ve seen a kid be uncontrollably happy, you can’t pretend to know when they’re miserable. Hopefully they’ll compare this high to any of the lows they cause her.

My sister follows Kim K on Snap chat (I know) & Kim was posting videos of herself with North. She kept saying she hated it, & Kim kept laughing thinking it was funny. I feel really bad for her & that she has those parents.

Her looks will change as she ages obviously. She is cute. I don’t see Kardashian in her, very much a West. Look at Raven Symone(sp)….looks absolutely nothing like the daughter she portrayed as a child, Or Chasity Bono, who was so tiny and cute on her parent’s show. It’s hard to tell the way the pendulum will swing. After about ten or so is when you really get the look you’ll have as an adult. At least that’s how it is with my two….my brunette daughter turned into a blonde and my son who looked like her twin, now has his own look. Time will tell. Like my mom says, you look like yourself!
I think North does just fine. She is happy and well adjusted. Perhaps Kim and Kanye are wacky otherwise but they are NOT bad parents. I have never seen them do anything but dote on her. Either one of them or both, as evidenced by these photos, are always gazing at her lovingly.

Nori’s always has seemed more comfortable with Kanye than with her mom, though. So maybe he dials down the crazy with her. He does show real emotions while Kim just seems so emotionally cold and dead in recent years, which must be confusing to a little kid. At least Nori doesn’t have that “who the heck are you?” look with Kim any more. So somebody clued them in a while ago to the need to be physically around the kiddo enough. Maybe they’ll do better with the little brother. The situation just screams for family therapy and parenting classes…
Nori is so lucky to have nannies and normally nurturing aunts nearby. There really is something deeply wrong with Kim, I don’t think she is trying to hurt her daughter but she seems so incredibly clueless. Like a 13 year old mother with a short attention span who would rather be off at the mall with her friends rather than a mother in her mid-thirties. Don’t know if what’s wrong can be fixed, but I do think Demon Mother is the root cause of the damage done to all of them.

That is the first time I’ve ever seen that little girl look so happy. It must be better for a toddler to be at Build-A-Bear than Backstage at Fashion Week.
North is such a beautiful child, but gods what the hell did they make her wear! That ensemble is awful!
I don’t like animal print clothing in general and especially not on little girls but that jacket could be ok if they did something else with the rest of it.

It’s a shame this poor child is used as the main attraction on her parents’ pap walks, she’s adorable but the way they parade her around in front of all those cameras (as they will also eventually do with her baby brother, I suppose) is a shame. At least she looks happy here, and is being taken to an appropriate activity for her age and interests.
like I said before, with those parents it’ll be a miracle if North and Saint turn out ok, and it’ll probably take a bigger miracle for them (but especially North) to make it through their youth without any unnecessary cosmetic “procedures” or plastic surgery a la their mother and aunts.

North is adorable, as are most kids at that age. Is it just me or does it seem like North may have dressed herself this time? Or maybe daddy did? She is very mismatched with her outfit lol but still so cute.
Sometimes people don’t want gifts at the party and prefer collecting them earlier or sending something to be opened later so people are not comparing gifts. If they are wealthy they may even ask for no gifts and a donation to a charity instead or just no gifts.

North is so cute! For how many days in a row has Kim been wearing those slashed jeans? She seems to grab onto one type of outfit and wear it over and over for weeks on end. As for her mom and the boob thing…there was a mom who did that in our circles. She wanted to make sure the daddies and other mens validated her sexiness. Cause she was sexy. And yes she owned it. Her excuse was..well they shouldnt look then ( how could anyone NOT, with her boobs spilling!), and their spouses should get over it. Wanted attention focused on her.
