If you’re wondering why the press has been so great around Prince Harry’s Nepal trip, I have two explanations. One, Harry is just a great person and he’s extremely lovely when he’s traveling. Two, Jason Knauf (POOR JASON) is actually traveling with Harry this week. We usually speak of Poor Jason in pitying terms, because he has to deal with the Cambridges’ work-shy and shady ways. But it’s good to see that if Jason gets to work with a personable and hard-working royal figure, he can actually do good work. I’m including a photo of Poor Jason in Nepal too!
These photos are of Harry’s visit to the Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu. He visited several children who are still struggling with injuries suffered during last year’s earthquake. He was lovely, as always. The trip to the hospital was supposed to be one of his last stops of the Nepal trip, but Harry decided at the last minute to stay in Nepal for another week. He released a statement: “The people I have met and the beauty of this country make it very hard to leave. Thankfully however, I’m not leaving just yet. I’m so grateful to have this opportunity at the end of my official tour to do my small bit to help.” He will be working with volunteers to rebuild a school. Not only that, he’s staying with locals. He doesn’t need to stay at a fancy hotel or anything. Because HONK FOR HARRY.
Meanwhile, in case all of that wasn’t enough, Poor Jason and Harry decided to release some private images on the KP Twitter account from Harry’s trip. The photo of Harry with the baby? OH MY GOD. Jason, you really earned your paycheck this week. Of course, “Harry + babies” serves as a distraction from the shadiness of Poor Jason’s primary job too.

I know, the chub on that baby is so dang cute…and Prince Harry clearly loves doing this sort of thing.
I have to say, his demeanor when he’s doing this kind of work reminds me of when I see Jolie with the kiddos she visits. you can see on both of their faces how much they enjoy doing this and it appears that both like doing THIS more than their “official” duties (as PRINCE and ACTRESS/DIRECTOR). I guess they both know that THIS work is worth more, in many ways.

You can tell by how Hot Ginge Harry is holding the aforementioned Earth-shatteringly Cute Nepalese Behbeh that he’s had practice holding small children. That’s a man who’s comfortable with kidlets.
Somebody from “The Firm” has to try and counter the Cambridge’s bad PR. Cynical or realistic? But if it helps in some way it’s better than just shooting grouse. Don’t see his physical attraction at all, but whatever floats your boats (or boaty mc boatfaces…).
See, I think Harry makes the Cambridges look even worse. He spends extra time on his tour, looks delighted to spend time with every person he comes across, and doesn’t need any special treatment.

Maybe this is Harry’s way of flipping the bird to his brother? There is no way in hell the Cambridges can one up him for staying an extra week. You have to give Harry his props. It was determined before he was born what life he had to live and he is owning it with such grace.

If he is saying a metaphorical eff-you to his brother with this trip, it’s about eff-ing time! After seeing all of the (planted) stories about “lazy, directionless Harry” that have been popping up in the media, I hope Harry has finally had enough of that nonsense and is taking the gloves off to defend himself.
I would think the instinct in the royal family to not upstage or publicly embarrass the future monarch must be a strong one, but in this case I think some thorough and very public shaming of Bill the Normal might be in order.
He has the added benefit of being beloved by the public. I doubt it’s an eff-you though, he seems more the type to shrug it off and keep his head down and get the work done. I don’t think he’s as petty as William.

Too cute! Harry is really showing his true character by staying and working with the relief organization. He’s living what he preaches. He’s sincere and it shows. He is an asset to the Queen and the BRF. Get this man a dukedom! Not really sure why the Queen is waiting. He’s done quite a bit to deserve it.
I must admit I am shocked #PoorJason is with him. Was he supposed to sabotage the press coverage to bolster the Lamebridges or has he literally jumped ship to the better prince? Inquiring minds want to know.

The piece about staying with locals blew me away. To me, this is what travel is about- real immersion in a culture and people. The best experiences happen this way in terms of connecting with people, experiencing hospitality and somebody’s grandma’s cooking….heaven. For a royal, this is a huge departure. My respect for him is even bigger. And he’s sooooo beautiful.
