I ordinarily wouldn’t care less, but the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians starts tonight. This season’s storylines involve Rob Kardashian’s relationship with and proposal to Blac Chyna, Khloe and Caitlyn drama, and Kim complaining about how Kanye wants another baby. It seems that the Blac Chyna-Rob situation is going to play out very quickly in the season, judging from the trailer. But that’s only part of it. In this new clip, Kris Jenner drops the sickest f—king burn on her favorite child, Kim. Keep in mind, Kris Jenner is the manager/momager for ALL of her kids, but Kim is the one who makes Kris the most money. It’s always been that way. But when Kim joins her sisters in bitching out Kris for financially supporting Rob, that’s when Kris loses her temper and bitches out her favorite.
“’I’m married for 72 days!’ Really? That was normal.” Ouch. I mean, yeah, if I was around Kim for any amount of time and she got on her high horse about anything, that’s what I would throw in her face too. But coming from your mom? Major ouch.
Here’s the trailer for the season. It looks like Rob is really getting with the program… literally, he’s back to being a full cast member on the reality show, it seems. And I guess that Tyga is getting a Kardashian paycheck too. Gross.

What I wonder about this experiment in sociology is this…when you live a life where EVERYTHING is fake, manipulated for storylines/ratings, bought and paid for, and a lie for 10 years, where are you left after that? I imagine the answer would be that your emotional and mental development would be arrested for that 10 years. When life is back to “normal”, after your life being a show, acting out, lying and faking life would be all you would know…right?
I wonder about this too. Especially for the younger kids who wouldn’t have any “normal” adult life to remember . . .
It’s hardly a fulltime job. Me thinks they treat each other in a different fashion when the camera’s aren’t rolling or flashing.

I saw the preview on TV the other day and I was like “tell ’em Kris!” They’ve ALL had such drama and crap…Kim with her sex tape and 72 day marriage, Kourtney and Scott, Khloe marrying Lamar shortly after meeting him and the subsequent drama and an underage Kylie with that fool Tyga…how can those bitches actually judge Rob for his actions?!? That clip was the first time I actually admired Kris as a mom…she supports her children, period.
ITA. I’m not a fan of the show but Kris’ hitting back with the kids made me admire her. The “sour-lemon” face on Kim was hysterical. I didn’t know her face could move like that … I didn’t know her face could move at all …

Good for Kris. Those girls are so disrespectful to her. I actually like Kris. She’s a smart businesswoman who took what her daughter’s did and made them money. Those bi@ches are so nasty and rude to her. Even when I was at my worst as a teenager, I would never have talked to my mom the way they do. Good for her for not taking it. And good for Rob too. And now, I want to watch the show! And I know, if I watch or comment, they’re never going to go away, blah, blah.
I also like Kris, she really made them famous out of nowhere with zero talent, which makes her a very good manager. And all of the kids are incredibly disrespectful to her all the time and even knowing the show is scripted, there must be residuals of truth in the way they treat each other.
Kris was abusive and neglectful. Also she dragged little Khloe and Rob along as cover for her affairs. I think she deeply wounded all of them, including Kim. Kourtney was the oldest and most aware of what was going on. She’s always seemed to loathe being in the same room with Kris. We only know bits and pieces of the kinds of things Kris embedded in their brains as children to make them feel so insecure about their appearance, but that’s just part of it.
You have to wonder why they are so nasty and rude. Where did they learn that? Why have they been allowed to be that way? I would never interact with my parents as this family does, but then again, that kind of behavior was never tolerated and speaking to either of them disrespectfully had consequences. It’s nice and all that Kris decided not to take their crap this time, but what about the rest of the time?

Rob is getting interest now because of his relationship with Angela, and that has not escaped Demon Mother’s attention. She does things for Rob only when it’s good business. She knows that people are complaining about the way she and her daughters treat Rob, so this is all meant to counteract the bad publicity and to bribe Rob to come on camera to attract ratings. Hope Rob doesn’t have the illusion that this means mom actually cares about him.
Always look behind the curtain when trying to figure out what the K Klan decides to say or do on camera. Kris and Kim have control over the script and the editing. What’s interesting is that they are trying to make Kris look good but continue to let Kim reveal her innate obnoxiousness (which Kim must think shows strength rather than her nasty mean streak). Maybe they figure Kris is more believable in the role of caring mother than Kim is in the role of caring sister. They’ve got some motive for all this.

I don’t think it’s fair to blame Kris for Caitlins secret past/reasoning on hiding her true self. She didn’t hold a gun to her head for 20+ years telling her have kids with me, be married and hide your truth. If anything, Kris seems pretty hurt by the lack of honesty throughout their marriage.
Kris never married for love. She was engaged when she met Robert Kardashian, and traded up. She was taken off guard when she saw Kardashian was serious, dang it, about divorcing her when he had proof of some of her affairs. She was looking around for a rich, more easily manipulated replacement and Bruce fit the job description. I believe Caitlyn when she says Kris did know about the gender issues before the wedding. Bruce was taking hormones for a transition, it was impossible to disguise their effect. Kris just didn’t care and figured she could manipulate the situation anyway- maybe even more easily. Kris is cold as ice. She had children simply as the glue to bind her to her rich husbands. Now she uses them to make money directly for herself.

She knows we all would love to tell them off so she’s giving the public a payoff and getting press while shifting the narrative. I have always believed her main talent is creating advance story lines for the show. She tests them out and chooses the ones that will drum up interest.

I remember arguing with one commenter here about how Kim wasn’t infertile. And here Kim is talking about having her third kid in a few years. Infertile people don’t argue over having a second or third or even first child because they don’t know if it is possible. The fact that Kim feigned infertility and claimed that she’d need a hysterectomy sickens me. But some of her stans want to buy the infertile act for some reason. If she had IVF, it was likely for gender selection.
