Amber Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa back in 2014, after they had been married just over a year. Reportedly, Amber caught Wiz cheating. It looked like their split was going to be crazy-dramatic, but after a few months they tamped everything down, seemingly for the good of their son Bash. For much of the past year and a half, they’ve been happily co-parenting and finalizing the terms of their divorce. Amber has even talked about how much she still loves Wiz and hopes that they’ll always get along for Bash’s sake. Well, they’ve finalized the divorce settlement, and Amber is getting everything that her prenup allows, plus some decent child support.
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa have reached a settlement in their divorce, E! News can confirm.
According to court documents, Amber will receive $1 million under the prenup signed prior to her and Wiz’s 2013 “I do’s.” Wiz has already paid $356,000 of this and still owes Amber $644,000. The rapper will also pay his ex $14,800-a-month in child support for their 3-year-old son Sebastian “Bash” Taylor Thomaz. Amber and Wiz will continue to share legal and physical custody of their son.
This is just a nice reminder that every divorce doesn’t have to be crazy-dramatic. It’s also a reminder that Amber and Wiz aren’t really top-level earners. Sure, a $1 million divorce settlement is generous in the real world, but in Hollywood/celebrity-ville, it’s not much. As for the child support… $14,800 a month is $177,600 a year. Once again, that would be more than enough in the real world, but in Wiz and Amber’s celebrity circles, it’s not that much.
Oh, and Wiz and Amber spent time together last night, and they reportedly looked pretty cozy out in the club. Friendly exes or are they still hooking up?

I seem to remember their split being very messy for a while. This is now quite a ways out, so things calmed down and worked through it.

I love that they’re still friends and not mud-slinging. This will be good for Bash. He’ll know that even thought Mommy and Daddy aren’t together, they still love him and love each other.

I LOVE the Xmas morning PJ dancing cause at that point they weren’t even all that nice to each other and I LOVED that they made that happen and he could dance and his dad wasn’t there telling him to be Man-man or nothing just the cutest

Honestly, good for them. They both were mature about it, and their little boy seems well loved and taken care of.
I’m glad for them. They seem to be getting along a lot better now which is great and their kid is so damn adorable. I don’t think they are still hooking up Amber is dating a player from the Toronto Raptors, unless they just broke up and she is being comforted by Wiz.
