I can still remember when I first wondered, “Did George Clooney slip away and get some face work done?” It was in 2010, when he barely promoted the film The American that fall. When he did show up at a handful of events, his face looked really weird, really different and really “tight.” That was nearly six years ago and while I applaud Clooney for NOT Botoxing or getting fillers in recent years, I do think that he’s gotten some work done here and there. Quiet, subtle work, nothing too extreme. He still looks his age – he’s 55 years old – but he looks handsome for his age. But now he’s maybe thinking about getting more stuff done because he can’t stand how craggy he looks. And the kicker is that Amal thinks he’s being too “vain.”
George Clooney, 55, secretly plans to delay his own expiration date with a little plastic surgery.
“George can’t stand how old he looks,” reveals a source who worked with the actor on ‘Money Monster’ and would catch him slathering cover-up onto his craggy wrinkles after the makeup artist was long gone.
“When he told Amal that he wanted to get some work done, she flipped out, though. She said he was being vain and warned him that messing with his face could actually make him look older, but he just told her, ‘Wait until you’re my age!’”

Would Amal really “flip out”? That’s the part I’m doubting. While she might be concerned that George would come out looking like Kenny Rogers, let’s be real here: Amal has gone under the knife too. She’s had a nose job at the very least, and I believe she’s had some other smaller stuff done too. Which is her right. Just as it’s George’s right to get his eyes done and his jawline tightened. I don’t think he needs to do it, mind you. But I’m guessing that “vanity” unites George and Amal far more than it divides them.
Also: a lot of older men think that marrying a much-younger woman is going to make them look younger, as if by transitive property. What actually happens is that people see the May-December couple and mutter “no fool like an old fool.”

This whole story reeks of BS and I doubt George has ever had any work done. We are not privy to conversations George and Amal may have had on the matter. “If” it was true, the only thing they probably would do is smooth out his forehead wrinkles and maybe his crows’ feet. Otherwise he looks pretty good. His chin and neck look fine, no jowls. . He may have lost some weight.
I think he looks older than his age, early- to mid-60s. I’m always surprised when I hear that he’s actually younger then Sean Penn, Hugh Grant, David Duchovny, etc. It’s not just that he’s with a woman so much younger than him, which ages him by contrast; it’s the way he styles himself–hair, beard, clothing. He would look much younger with a good makeover.
Yes, 55 surprised me (again, I always forget). He looks like he’s in his sixties.

S he’s no oil painting herself, she should think of getting some, although I think she already had. George is fine as he is, although he is not as hot as he used to be, but sometimes he can still look really good, other times he can look alot older than his age. When he cuts his hair in a crew cut, like he did in ‘The American’ he always looks younger than the side part look, and if he changed his style a bit it would do wonders for him because I still think he is an attractive man, even though I cant stand him at times, especially in the past couple of years, he started beleiving his own hipe and it ruined him
Do you notice how many comments are posted about the Clooneys so far, only 11. That is why he feels the need to have his face rearranged, because he knows he is loosing his audience. The People are getting less and less interested him and his wifey, even the trolls are not trolling him.

Yep I doubt this a true story. They aren’t really intersting anymore … Total Over exposure does that. He hasn’t made a good movie since the descendants and that’s along time ago now.
Why doesn’t he colour his hair and shave regularly? He would look much younger! And he could still get stuff done in like 10 yrs 😀

I’m actually surprised he’s 55, I honestly thought he was a lot older. I do think he’s good looking but there are a lot of celebrities out there that don’t look like they’ve had work done and are a similar age. He’s quite distinguished and I think he plays on his look, but I do think it ages him.
