I’m writing this up because I just fundamentally believe that everyone loves looking at wedding photos, especially wedding photos of famous people. And Kevin Hart provided them! Kevin Hart married his long-time love Eniko Parrish this weekend in Santa Barbara, California. Kevin and Eniko have known each other since 2009, but I guess they weren’t officially together until 2011, when his divorce from Torrei Hart was finalized. This is his second marriage and Eniko’s first. Kevin also has two kids from his first marriage, 8-year-old Hendrix (who was his best man) and 11-year-old Heaven.
Kevin and Eniko posted a lot of wedding photos on their social media, which you can see here and here. The bride wore a custom Vera Wang gown for the wedding ceremony, then changed into the full-on lace Vera Wang dress for the reception. I’m actually not crazy about either dress because both of them look too lingerie-y for my taste. But she’s a beautiful woman and I’m sure she felt like a princess, and she got the dress she wanted. The craziest detail for me was Eniko’s manicure! LOOK AT HER NAILS!!!!
What else? I enjoyed this detail: Kevin and his family had a pre-wedding dinner at Lucky’s Steakhouse, which… bless anyone who has a pre-wedding dinner at a steakhouse, I think I love you. Kevin also had a big guest list full of some famous friends, like Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Ludacris and Trey Songz. Congrats to Eniko and Kevin!

The photo thing is just one of those things with me. I much prefer more natural looking candid photos. She looks like she’s trying way too hard in the posed photos.

That was the second thing ( second to the nails) that struck me… where is the joy? That’s what everyone wants to see when looking at wedding photos, no?
The kids are the best part. The daughter is beautiful and looks perfect in her attire.

The dresses look TOO Pnina Tornai for my Taste but .. whatevs, what I’m 100% here for those Unicorn Nails ( Im also super pressed for Metallic Powder nails! Yes I LOVE me some Talons, No Don’t ask me about ” how do you perform bodily functions with long nails, wah wah!” – same as you do)

It really does look like one of those “Say Yes to the Dress” gaudy type gowns. I feel like Vera Wang has been slipping for a few years now.

On “Say yes to the dress” the bride usually says “I want to look like a princess”… and then they choose a dress that almost makes them look like a Vegas showgirl. I really don’t get the appeal of those awful and overpriced Pnina Tornai dresses.
I both love and hate wedding photos. I love weddings photos that look like the couple is trying to capture memories of one of the happiest days of their lives. I loath wedding photos that look like the couple is trying to show off and/or convince me of their glorious affair. Call me hater, if you will.
As far as the wedding dresses, no. Too much lace. Also, is “rich people lace” less itchy? Because that looks itchy.

Beautiful photos. I love Heaven’s bridesmaid dress. Age appropriate without looking like a Disney princess knock off. And Hendrix is looking very smart in his tux.
Not a fan of either dress but the family picture is cute. Both kids smiling while mom and dad are serious. I like it for some reason.
That’s not their mom. Its their stepmom who fooled around with their dad while still married to their mom.
I don’t know how their relationship started, but there seems to have been some drama with his ex-wife. That being said, I like Eniko. She’s an Instagram model/socialite cliche, but I still like her and want her to be happy in her marriage.
His stand-up touched on that drama, actually… turned me off of him as a person, with punchlines about guy friends not covering for him well enough when he was cheating and lying about it.
It annoyed me that he got rid of his “day one” wife to hook up with someone who wouldn’t give him the time of day if he weren’t Kevin Hart.

The dresses are a mess. She could have shown off her- I’m guessing this why she chose the- with more stylish designs. Would hate to see the wedding night lingerie, but may be that the point.
In one of the portraits he had to stand like 10ft ahead of the bride to look taller. Kevin, we know you’re very short. Embrace it and smile. It’s your wedding photo. You don’t have to look all serious and badass.
I like some Vera Wang dresses but this one is particularly ugly and tacky. I’m so over the mermaid shape (this was a thing six years ago, people), and it’s simply not flattering on every body. It can make you look wider and shorter than you really are. The dress for her reception is the best for her. It accentuates her figure nicely.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the “naked” bride illusion dresses.
I’m having flash backs of when I went to Kleinfelds and told them I wanted a more modest dress, they kept putting me in Pnina with slits down to the belly button and open backs with butt ruching… “this is modest… look it has straps!” They were genuinely confused as to why I said it wasn’t what I asked for (but wouldn’t show me the brand I went in to see). I guess it’s very very popular now.
I follow her on instagram and at this point I thinks he’s only in it for the money. About a year ago she was more consistent with his kids/with him, and this year it just seems like it’s all MEMEME. Which, I could be getting the wrong impression because it’s social media, but then again, she runs in those circles where you’re either a video-ho or a courtside groupie. She wouldn’t look twice at Kevin if he didn’t have the popularity and money he has.
It’s still so hard for me to see them as a real couple 😩 Eniko is gorgeous though and her wedding style isn’t my style but it fits her perfectly. Heaven and Hendrix are such beautiful children! Kevin… Let’s see how this goes. I’m nervous for you lol
Sidenote I’m a big Torrei Hart fan so maybe I’m just bitter lol this still doesn’t sit right with me
I said this above. He and Torrei started off together and struggled for a long time. She even gave up doing comedy so she could support them while he was trying to make it. Then he cheated and bullied her into giving up her right to spousal support/alimony. Soured me to him after that.
And the streets are saying that there is NO-PRENUP.

Yes, him joking about cheating really annoyed me. However, he’s also been big on note bashing his ex-wife/mother of his kids, which I do give him props for. Although, how could he, given what he put her through… Also, his jokes about dark skinned women are what trouble me. I used to like him a lot, and I still do to a certain extent, but he is problematic on some things.
His jokes about dark-skinned women are really problematic because his ex and his daughter are dark-skinned. How sad is that; that he gets some coins and starts elevating lighter skinned women over his own? The complexes his daughter will get.
he’s made fun of his ex in his standups before, maybe not recently but he definitely did at all star weekend when shaq and ashanti were in the crowd.

I guess I’m in the minority, but I think her reception dress is so pretty. I really love lace though. And I absolutely adore “doily” dresses. I’m tacky 😳

She is drop dead gorgeous, obviously. When I see the wedding pictures all I can think is “there’s no way she would be with him if he wasn’t so wealthy.” Hope it works out for them, sometimes marriages based on hotness and money do survive!

All I can think of is the pressure this must put on the child? What an obligation if your name basically denotes how special, beautiful, strong etc. you are….and what if you are not?
I think if there had just been lace side panels, it would have been a hit. I won’t rain on anyone’s wedding parade, no matter how tacky or goofy it seems to me, especially since this couple has been already been together a long time. Congratulations on your weird and wild wedding you guys!
