When the Brangelina-split news broke on Tuesday, CB and I wondered if somehow, the weekly magazines would shred their latest cover stories and start anew for some late-breaking Brangelina news. That didn’t happen. None of the tabloids have Brangelina on their new covers this week! But in a hilarious twist, In Touch Weekly did decide to run a big cover story on Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, and how Justin’s ex Heidi Bivens is ruining their relationship. Also hilarious? Jennifer Aniston’s rep went out of his way to deny this story… but there’s still no denial of those stories about Aniston’s glee over the Brangelina split. Funny how that goes.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have split. That is the latest headline from InTouch Weekly – the same publication that correctly reported last week that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were divorcing. But Aniston’s rep has told DailyMail.com the magazine’s new report is ‘a complete fabrication’ and that the 47-year-old Friends vet has no plans to split from her 45-year-old husband of one year. The magazine is alleging Aniston is calling it quits with Theroux because he has been talking to his ex-girlfriend Heidi Bivens, who he spent 14 years with. Aniston’s rep, however, told DailyMail.com the InTouch report is a ‘complete fabrication.’
The cover story details conversations Theroux has had with Bivens, reporting they often laugh together on the phone. It was added he has a flirty relationship with his Leftovers co-star Margaret Qualley, 21, and that distance has been a problem as the actor has been in Australia for three months shooting his HBO series. The main focus of the cover story, however, was Justin and Heidi.
‘They’ve stayed in contact ever since they broke up,’ said a source. ‘Jen hates it. She let him have it, saying it was the last time she ever wanted to hear about that woman.’ And even though Jennifer has told Justin she is not comfortable with his conversations with Heidi, he refuses to stop, it was added by the source.
‘Justin and Heidi are friends, and that’s not going to change,’ said the insider.
Talk of Bivens even overshadowed their one year wedding anniversary in August, it was claimed. According to InTouch, when Justin flew home from Australia – where he has been shooting The Leftovers – they talked about his ex.
‘They had the fight over Heidi,’ said a pal. ‘By the end of the trip they were barely speaking to each other.’ It was also added that the couple decided to split before he returned to Australia for more shooting. The source said Justin feels he is doing nothing wrong by talking to Bivens and he even lets Aniston see their text messages. ‘But Jen flies off the handle and says he’s obsessed with Heidi,’ said the insider. But the Zoolander star had told his wife he did not want to ‘ignore’ Heidi, it was added. It was also claimed he helped Heidi get a job as a costume designer on a new film.
Not only did Jennifer’s rep deny this to the Daily Mail, but Justin’s rep went to Gossip Cop for another denial. Justin’s rep says that JustJen is not over and “Bivens is NOT affecting their marriage.” Um… but is he still in contact with Heidi Bivens? That’s a really good question, isn’t it? Because of all the karma talk coming from Aniston’s Camp, the same talk that her rep has not denied. If you believe that the Brangelina split is karma, doesn’t it follow that Heidi Bivens will eventually get the last laugh too?

Why should she comment on Brad/Angelina. Does she owe them something?
Maybe she doesn’t deny the Brad and Angelina rumours because they have nothing to do with her? This story was about her and her husband, so she commented on it. If she commented on Brad and Angelinas divorce people would shit on her for trying to grab attention or still being involved all these years later. Maybe she is just really sick of being dragged into these stories?
If she denied anything to do with those two then it would make her look obsessed with them and give more fuel to those fires. She can’t win in relation to this story.

Now that Brangelina is over, the tabloids will be looking for a new triangle to write their trashy soap opera narrative about. She knows that. Thats why she and Justin responded to this one. They need to nip it in the bud.
If she says ANYTHING, the press leaps on it and then rolls around like a dog in poop.
The only means she has of controlling the narrative is to say nothing, and really, that’s exactly what Angelina has always done — she just says nothing, and it keeps the (poop-loving) hounds somewhat at bay.

A few days before the divorce was announced, there were stories about Brad Pitt saying Gwyneth’s name in his sleep (I don’t believe the story, but at times her name pops up on Brangelina stories).

If you say someone’s not breaking up or not having a baby, it has some meaning because eventually there will either be a divorce or a baby or a marriage or whatever, or there wont. If you deny someone had a conversation about something with a friend, unless it was recorded, you can never ever actually convince anyone who wants to believe it. So you ignore it.

I personally find Jennifer Aniston fairly annoying generally speaking. Her acting skills leave a lot to be desired. I honestly do not see her marriage lasting for eternity either.
No matter what Jen or her rep says about Brangelina, people are going to attack her for it, so I’m thinking they’re just never going to say anything.
It’s actually weird to me in the middle of all of this other crazy gossip, they’re trying out this old story again.
Aniston won’t touch the Brangelina split with a ten foot pole b/c it’s a lose-lose for her to say ANYTHING. The split doesn’t involve her in any way shape or form and no matter what she says, she’ll get dragged for it and she knows it. So no, she won’t issue any sort of statement or denial regarding the reports coming from “Camp Aniston” (which seriously that doesn’t make sense at all–most of the info is based on internet memes that exploded on Tuesday).
I wonder if she will be asked about Brad being abusive thing at some point, if it was just with kids then it does not involve Anistin at all but reporters probably want everyone’s comments about it.
That question may make sense if more information comes out. I still think she’ll say “no comment” which will be dissected to death anyhow. If the hookup was under non-shady circumstances, maintaining a friendship with a former partner of that significance is a plus, if I was in this situation with the hubbins. And this poor woman has done nothing to indicate she wants any part of the gossip cycle. She’s just a working professional who keeps being pulled into this narrative, like a domino effect of other people’s bullshit. Poor Heidi.
She also made it quite clear publicly that if Aniston and Theroux ever crossed a certain line, she’d come out with proof of the real timeline of events. That stated, I doubt she’s spoken to him in years.

it would not surprise me if this were true. He leaves his girlfriend of fourteen years, there is significant history there…several years with the mistress and all of a sudden things are getting old, fast. Happens probably more than people think.
The best remedy for a wife is to let her husband move in IMMEDIATELY with a mistress. Never fight to keep him, pack him up and make him move in with her. It takes the magic out of their mess pronto.

My ex husband and i spent 12 years together and we talk everyday, however, his girlfriend says he is in love with me.
