Donald Trump thinks it’s ‘pretty sad’ that he could lose because of female voters

wenn29663764

Now for our daily Donald Trump post (which we’ll be doing from here to election day, maybe?). Can you believe that Donald Trump has basically managed to change the subject away from his deplorable “grab them by the p-ssy” comments? People are still talking about the comments, obviously, but throughout Tuesday, cable news had moved on to discussing Trump’s “war” with Paul Ryan and the GOP establishment, which left all of the p-ssy talking to Trump’s son Eric. Eric told the Colorado Gazette that his father just loves to brag about sexually assaulting women because: “It’s locker room banter. I think sometimes when guys are together they get carried away, and sometimes that’s what happens when alpha personalities are in the same presence. At the same time, I’m not saying it’s right. It’s not the person that he is.” Yes, Donald Trump, Billy Bush and the Access Hollywood Teamsters are the alpha males of our time. Meanwhile, Donald Trump appeared on The O’Reilly Factor last night and he said many words. Some highlights:

When asked how he would win back women voters: “Well, first of all locker room talk and most people have heard it before. I’ve had a lot of women come up to me and say, ‘Boy, I’ve heard that and I’ve heard a lot worse than that over my life.’ If that’s why I’m going to lose an election to get rid of Isis and to create strong borders and rebuild our military and do all the things we’re going to do, including Supreme Court judges and saving the Second Amendment because it’s under siege with Hillary Clinton — or as I call her crooked Hillary, which is what she is — if that’s what it’s going to take to lose an election, that would be pretty sad. Then I have to go back to my other life. But I tell you what, I think we’re going to win the election, Bill.”

His war with Paul Ryan: “The fact is, I think we should get support and we don’t get the support from guys like Paul Ryan. I’m just tired of nonsupport and I don’t really want his support. This happens all the time – if you sneeze, he calls up and announces, ‘Isn’t that a terrible thing.’ So look, I don’t want his support, I don’t care about his support.”

[From Politico & People]

Let’s break this down. Women have come up to Donald Trump and said “Boy, I’ve heard that and I’ve heard a lot worse than that over my life.” Yes. That’s the point. Women have been subject to appalling sexual harassment all their lives. That’s not the reason to vote for Donald Trump. And it’s not an excuse either!! Jesus. As for “if that’s what it’s going to take to lose an election, that would be pretty sad.” As in, Trump thinks it’s sad that women – whom he thinks of as disposable playthings, objects, and voiceless and agency-free pieces of ass merely in the world for his amusement – would cost him the election. It’s sad to him that women would be disgusted by his words and actions… which is happening, by the way. Nate Silver has been analyzing the gender split of the polls in the field post-Trump Tape and apparently the gender divide is unprecedented. SAD!

Let’s just blame women some more, shall we? How are people blind to this blatant misogyny? How do people rationalize it?

    • Naya says:

Ann Coulter has been blaming women voters for every republican defeat for years so I’m sure their rationale is burried in one of her books but I’ll be damned if I ever wade into that pile of shit to find it.

      • Kitten says:

You know that much of Trump’s infamous “we’ll build a wall speech” was largely-influenced by “Adios, America”, right? Trump read that shortly before he gave the speech and decided to throw the original speech out the window in order to parrot talking points from the book.

Coulter was at the peak of her incessant self-glorification when she praised the speech as “the most magnificent speech ever given.”

      • Nancy says:

The only person I find as despicable as him is her. I can’t read or listen to her words anymore. She personifies everything that is wrong in this country. I wonder how she would react if Trump called her out on her appearance and said she was a pig and uneffable. She’d hide in a corner and cry……no guess not, you have to have a soul to feel emotions.

      • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

@Kitten- yes, I heard that all on NPR yesterday. Vultures of a feather flock to together, it seems.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

        Yeah, how dare they vote.

Turning the USA back not to the 1950s but the 1850s.

Only landed white men had the franchise. Landed white men like Donald Trump.

      • MC2 says:

I didn’t know that about her book & his speech…..now I see why she was so.pissed when her book came out and that day (or day before) he changed his stance. I like that now more then ever.

      • AngelaH says:

Well, that’s what happens when you don’t believe women are equal to men. I don’t have one crap to give about any of the rest of your policies. I don’t care if you are going to make all work places allow kittens, I DON’T CARE.

And if you want to blame me for not allowing myself to be treated as less than, blame away. Of course you won’t take a look at your own actions or beliefs.

      • Layla says:

Trump read a book? Now that’s some shocking sh*t right there…

    • Embee says:

It is blatant misogyny, and it looks exactly like what most women have experienced at the hands of men like him.

I feel like this should be deemed the “Election of the False Equivalence” for all the rampant sexism. Donald Trump BRAGS about actually performing sexual assault, and somehow Hillary is now supposed to defend remaining married to her husband who may or may not have assaulted other women. This is the kernel of sexism: women are deemed responsible for their men’s misdeeds whilst men are not accountable “mere locker room talk” for theirs.

Hilary uses a private server that may have possibly potentially maybe been slightly more subject to cyber attacks, and this is deemed somehow more nefarious than strip mining a public company of cash to line his pockets and declaring bankruptcy to get away with it.

Hillary is Secretary of State when an embassy attack occurs in which we could not prevent the deaths of four people because of inadequate resources, and this is somehow a jailable offense, whilst Trumpis just “smart” for repeatedly, intentionally not paying small business owners for their work (presumably as part of his business plan) and ruining their lives.

It is enraging. It is crazytown.

      • Original T.C. says:

        @EMBE
        +10000
        You said it perfectly.

      • Kitten says:

Did you see that meme circulating that said “Trump doesn’t be held accountable for the man he was 10 years ago, but Hillary’s must be held accountable for the man her husband was 20 years ago” or something like that..?

It just infuriates me to no end that we FINALLY have a female presidential candidate and these assholes STILL want to make her candidacy about a man.

        Pathetic,

      • Anna S. says:

        This. Thank you.

      • vaultdweller101 says:

        This is perfect. +a million.

What’s enraging is so many people are completely blind to it. On the other hand, though, it’s helped me weed out a lot of undercover aholes from my friend circle. I never realized so many people had such vile thoughts in their mind, people that I thought I knew well, even.

      • Giddy says:

        Preach it Embee!

      • HH says:

        THANK YOU!

Also FYI for everyone: The idea behind her private server being less secure is somewhat ridiculous given that there’s no evidence it was hacked, however, servers at the State Dept have been.

      • Elise says:

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS +100000000000000000 GOOGOLPLEX!

      • Flan says:

        OMG, Embee, that was great!

      • dom says:

        @embee
She intentionally mishandled classified information. Anyone else , at the very least, would have had their security clearance revoked.

      • Embee says:

        @dom
        Maybe not.
“In looking back at our investigations into mishandling or removal of classified information, we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts. All the cases prosecuted involved some combination of: clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States; or efforts to obstruct justice. We do not see those things here.” – Statement by FBI Director James B. Comey on the Investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Use of a Personal E-Mail System, Federal Bureau of Investigation 7/15/16

      • guilty pleasures says:

@Embee, brilliant, I a going to copy and paste to Facebook if that’s ok?

      • guilty pleasures says:

@Embee, brilliant, I a going to copy and paste to Facebook if that’s ok?

      • Embee says:

        Please do, I am honored!

      • dom says:

@ embee She INTENTIONALLY mishandled classified information.

      • lightpurple says:

        @Dom, the FBI says otherwise.

      • Trashaddict says:

Have faith. Carry your head high. And VOTE.

      • Lucrezia says:

@ Dom: note that the quote from the FBI guy says intentional AND willful miss-handling. Willful in this sense means with bad purpose or criminal intent. Difference between Clinton’s emails and, say, the Petraeus case is that there Clinton had no “bad purpose”. Petraeus intentionally shared classified info with someone who wasn’t cleared. Clinton only sent emails to people who had clearance.

Prosecuting Clinton would set a bad precedent. If she’s charged because her security wasn’t strong enough and hackers *might* have seen her emails, what happens when a government department’s security isn’t strong enough and they *are* hacked?

In 2008, the US military was hacked, with a worm virus from a thumb-drive plugged into a computer in the Middle East spreading through the entire system, including classified systems. In took them 14 months to clear. But the virus was an old one, and anti-malware programs back in 2007 considered a minimal threat – all you had to do to protect yourself was turn off Window’s auto-run feature. It was ridiculously negligent that the military was letting thumb-drives auto-run in 2008. No one was charged.

2015, after several warnings that their security wasn’t sufficient, the Office of Personnel Management was hacked, and 21.5 million records were stolen. Again, no one was charged.

We’ve had hacks of the Post Office, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, even the White House. And those are just the ones that were noticed and made public. No one ever gets charged for not having sufficient security when attacks DO happen, so why try to charge someone for not having sufficient security when there’s no evidence an attack even occured?

      • jwoolman says:

Dom- at some point, you have to trust the FBI’s investigative ability. They found nothing criminal, no sign that classified info was improperly released (anything marked classified, she handled through the State Department system; issuing agencies dispute the FBI’s claim that a handful should have been marked classified but weren’t as received), they were satisfied that she cooperated fully with the investigation, wasn’t trying to hide anything (the e-mails were actually recoverable), and said she was never anywhere close to being charged. All of this “lock her up” is in Trump’s fevered imagination – he knows nothing about computers or e-mail. Tweeting from his phone is as far as he goes.

If he tries to prosecute her, he will have to prosecute Bush 2, Rice, and Powell as well. At least Hillary actually archived all work-related e-mail, which the others did not. Bush deleted millions of e-mails, the disks were wiped clean.

An IT staffer was supposed to delete the personal e-mail long long before but delayed doing it as not terribly urgent, which is why the deletions were done around the time of the subpoena without her knowledge. They gave him immunity so he could freely testify about what really happened, which is fairly standard in such cases. There was nothing to hide in those e-mails and no reason why she wouldn’t have said to hold off on the deletion job if she realized it hadn’t been done yet.

    • Froggy says:

I Just saw a bumper sticker that said ‘don’t be a pu**y, vote for Trump’
I had three 12 year old boys in the car with me. This election can’t end soon enough.

    • LoveIsBlynd says:

If someone was raised by an inappropriate bigoted patriarch who provided for their family and was perceived as “alpha”, then this is their “normal”. Also I told my son that tall white men tend to seem automatically more “presidential” to voters who aren’t intellectual enough to investigate a person’s history and character.

  2. minx says:

Whenever Trump says “I’ve had a lot of people come up to me and say (fill in the blank)” you know he’s pulling it out of his a**.

    • Konspiracytheory says:

      Exactly.

    • greenmonster says:

      Exactly!

He is always doing this: many people have said, a lot of people told me…

If it was Ivanka who told him, that it wasn’t so bad – that’s one woman, not many. Also, if his other daughter or daughters-in-law were forced to tell him that too, that doesn’t count.

    • LeahNoNo says:

      Same with “everyone knows…”

      • qw says:

It works on low-IQ people. Same with the way he speaks, His vocab is very, very restricted (I’m not even a native speaker and mine is waaay bigger), he basically uses maybe a hundred words and repeats everything all the time but I’ve come to relise now it’s not just because he’s inarticulate. He’s also dumbing sh@t down for simple, uneducated people to understand what he’s saying.

There’s some basic basic words, the best words, very big, very smart words, there’s terror and ISIS and problem, and then there’s tremendous. That is it.

    • Kitten says:

Yep. This guy is such a one-trick pony.

@Kaiser- “Yes. That’s the point. Women have been subject to appalling sexual harassment all their lives.”
      *applause*

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Whenever tRump opens his mouth, he’s pulling sh!t out of his @ss, because his mouth looks like a tiny butth0le. A tiny, orange butth0le.

    • Veronica says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually has had women say that to him, though, because there are plenty of them who would sell the rest of us up sh*t creek so they could be pretend to be part of the boys’ club for awhile.

      • Melly says:

This is so sad yet so very accurate. I feel this way about any woman who still supports this POS.

      • Trashaddict says:

Various news outlets have interviewed women in battle ground states who say they are used to this kind of talk and it doesn’t bother them, even mentioning “attractiveness” as a factor that brings it on. I’ve unfortunately heard them. It’s absolutely cringe-worthy.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

On a news show a trump supporter (female) said this: “we know he’s owned strip clubs but he represents our culture. Look at our culture as a whole. But God has sent him to stop Hillary Clinton from murdering babies. He is an instrument of God” (?1)

    • susie says:

(in a bad donald voice impression) ‘he’s the best at pulling things out of his A$$! trust me!’

    • vaultdweller101 says:

This dude is a f*cking clown, and anyone who supports him, I just can’t. Their judgement is very compromised, to say the least.

      • I think so many of us are with you. I’ve deleted people, becoming a commenting vigilante and really have a hard line of who can be in my life/Facebook feed after this. I am appalled.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

One of my closest friends supports trump, I looked on the FB page on who likes trump and there she was. However, she has never voted in her life as she admitted just yesterday. I had the flu and sadly threw up in the voting hall as soon as I turned 18 because I was determined to get there- and have voted ever since and as informed as possible. My trump friend also had an extremely authoritarian and inappropriate father so there’s that…I guess one never knows what ignorant hatred hides in the heart and remains. At least my one trump friend is a non-voter but obviously bigoted as I now realize.

    • Anastasia says:

That was my FIRST thought. It’s a pattern with him, and he does it ALL the time. All these unnamed people who are supposedly on his side, or think he’s terrific, or whatever.

I really do think he’s mentally unhinged. I’ve suspected it for a long time, but after both of the debates, I’m absolutely convinced. There’s something terribly wrong in his brain pan.

      • Justjj says:

No doubt. I have met toddlers with more self control and a greater sense of personal responsibility. He a actually reminds me of a few men I’ve met in the past… And it’s kind of glorious to see the national news media call all of them out collectively for the gaslighting, manipulative, lying, misogynists they really are. In a way, the vindication is kind of nice. Like that NYMag article Kaiser posted said, he’s done a great service by exposing a-hole misogyny and abusive language and behavior towards women in an unprecedented way. Granted the slew of false equivalencies and sexist rhetoric surrounding the election will continue, but still, a man being scrutinized mercilessly for his “locker room” talk and unacceptable hate speech when it comes to women? Scrutinized as if he were running for President? Good. It’s about time. I hope we can keep this country out of his tiny, silky soft, infantile, baby powder hands.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

I don’t think he’s mentally unhinged but a straight shooting megalomaniac narcissist. He actually has zero respect for the people who support him- we should try to find a tape of him criticizing the general type of person in his base.

    • EM says:

Yes, but on the radio this morning I heard quite a few women calling in to defend Trump. They are calling for a revolution if corrupt Hillary gets in. I swear to God I am totally losing it – Trump is a malignant cancer spreading across this country. His supporters are just as bad – all scumbags!! The problem is that I think he’s going to win. I think it’s going to be a Brexit – people almost seem consumed by him and I don’t think they are telling the truth when asked about who they are voting for plus they are the ones making the most noise and people kind of remember the noise. I am not going to be able to keep it together for 4 years of this family and nuts in the WH.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

The reason he -might- have a chance is all the morons voting for stoner Gary Johnson or new age Jill Stein. The fringe millenials who are driven to be “uniqWah” are going allow this fascist to ruin the rights of an otherwise free country. Hillary has flaws, but ding dong Trump has the same flaws but will amplify them by installing the rascist/misoygnist supreme court judges w lifetime tenures.

  3. Shambles says:

Is that first excerpt actually real?!?!?!
He literally says “First of all locker room talk, women like me, get rid of isis, second amendment under seige, crooked Hillary, that’s what she is.”
This is how most people write when they’re making fun of him or another similar word-salad-speaking person, but this is how he really talks.
    Holy sh!t, you guys.
Also if I hear the word “locker room talk” one more time, I’m going to explode. Not only is it incredibly dismissive, but they all sound like broken robots programmed to say this one key phrase over and over and over… And over… Make it stop.

    • detritus says:

Rage rage ragey rage gently down the sea. Never vote fr the comb over pope and his vast stupidity

He is toxic masculinity personified. In his confusion he again says exactly what he thinks of all women and is again confused when we are smart enough to figure it out. He’s groomed so many victims in his life he literally cannot imagine women fighting back, putting their foot down.
      .

    • Esmom says:

Oh that’s him. Sad that is hard to distinguish between parody and reality with his brand of ignorance and dog whistle word salads.

As for “locker room talk,” did you see the clip from The Apprentice where he chided a contestant and fired her for using…quote…”locker room talk.” ?? Priceless.

“Locker room talk” is apparently the new “boys will be boys.” Sigh.

    • Lily says:

But Donald knows words and he’s got the best words.

Ugh. I can’t wait until this mess is over.

      • Rachel says:

You actually made me laugh, even though none of this is funny. So thanks for that little moment of levity in this sad, sad mess.

      • nicole says:

I cant wait till its over too, bring on November 8th, and lets hope on November 9th Hillary wins and wins big!

      • Melly says:

Guys, this isn’t going to be over after November 8th. Win, lose, or draw we are going to be seeing and hearing the impact of this election for a long time. Trump has created a faction in the republican party and it is not going away even if Trump loses. After the election Trump could go the media company route and, with Steven Bannon et al, create a “news” network that makes Fox news look like MSNBC. Or he could essential create a new third party with republicans/ independents who currently support him. In any case, he is not going away.

Sorry to be the buzzkiller of the day.

    • Kitten says:

Have you been watching the debates, Shambles?

This is literally what the guy does–repeats the same words over and over again. When he was asked about the comments he made to Billy Bush it was “Locker room talk. Oh but ISIS!”

How the F*CK do people fall for that crap? SMDH

      • Lisa says:

Right? It’s like he is trying to distract everyone with different talking points, but instead he gets confused himself… I’m surprised more of his sentences don’t end with “and then we went for ice cream”. It just angers me that the moderators don’t insist he answer the question more, because 95% of the time he goes off on a ramble and the question isn’t answered.

      • Shark Bait says:

Have you seen the meme that says “Mr. Trump did you sexually assault women?” “I will defeat ISIS”?? Haha I think his supporters have different ears and hear his words differently.

      • Shambles says:

O’Kitt, I can’t watch them live. It would be so bad for my mental health that I can’t even go there. I read recaps, watch commentary, and sometimes watch clips if I think I can stomach it. I finally watched a compilation of all the times that he physically stalked her on Sunday and it was painful.

      • Kitten says:

@Shark Bait-YES I liked the hell out of that meme!

@Lisa-Oh my god me too. I wish the moderators had stayed on him and forced him to talk about policy. Instead, he was allowed to ramble on and on in his trademark doublespeak.

But to be fair to Anderson and Martha, I’m not sure what the *official rules* are for moderators. That being said, I highly doubt that HRC would be able to get away with saying nothing over and over again like Trump does.

@Shambles-Same as my mom. She says she can’t stand to even look at Trump.

Full disclosure: this is the first time I’ve religiously watched all the presidential debates. I always watch at least one every year but this year I’m watching all of them.

      • Rachel says:

I have said from the very beginning of this travesty that the writers of The American President must have looked into the future when they wrote the president’s address at the end of the movie. Michael Douglas says Richard Dreyfus’s character isn’t interested in offering any solutions for the country’s problems. He’s only interested in making people afraid of them and telling them who to blame. That’s exactly what Trump has been doing from the very beginning. And his followers just lap it up.

    • Rachel says:

For me, if I have to read “crooked Hillary” in one more Facebook post, I’m going to go FULL ON CAPS. OMG where does he or anyone get off calling her crooked?? The man is so crooked he wouldn’t know a straight line if he tripped over it, let alone had to walk it!

      • susanne says:

It speaks volumes to me when the same rhetoric is repeated senselessly and out of context. It is truly shocking to me how deeply ingrained the idea of Clinton being a criminal has spread. No one that I have spoken to can explain it. It’s straight-up mob mentality and it is frightening.
What would happen if Clinton shrugged off not paying taxes with a smirk, commenting that she’s smart for doing so?
I’m only staying sane because it’s looking good for Hil and I fully expect Trump to self-implode at any moment.
We deserve some fun, after all this fear.

    • I Choose Me says:

Reading and listening to the sh-t this man says gives me a damn headache. I too want it to stop.

Please don’t elect this man president America. Please, oh please oh please oh please oh please.

    • Danielle says:

You forgot all the stuff we’re going to do, the Supreme Court justices….he’s going to do the Supreme Court justices?? Do they get a say in that? Lmao.

      • smd says:

Danielle, he’ll grab those Supreme court justices by the xxxxx and show them who’s the boss! How can folks want a dictator to make Merica great again? When have dictators ever made anything great other than their own gain? There isn’t enough wine to get through this election. Kitten, you’ve inspired me I’m gonna hit the treadmill tomorrow morning! Need to work out this frustration….

    • Flan says:

That plus, IT WASN’T IN A LOCKER ROOM.

They were doing something for work, and that disgusting Bushy or whatever he calls himself, abused his power to make a colleague hug a guy who had just boasted about sexual harassment.

  4. original kay says:

I hope you do cover Trump until election day, and beyond that actually. It won’t be over whether he wins or not. He’s got all the drama and attention his narcissistic personality needs and he won’t let go.

It ‘s needed, this safe, sane place to discuss how insane things are right now.

    • SusanneToo says:

He’s already ginning his cultists up with the “rigged election” crap. They’ll never let go. They’re crazy with their delusions.

      • Miranda says:

The “rigged election” allegations could be among the most dangerous things that he’s said throughout his entire campaign. I’m pretty confident at this point that Hillary is going to win, but the rabid Trump supporters are still going to be around. We’ve already seen from his rallies that he won’t hesitate to incite violence, and now he’s apparently telling his Deplorables to “watch” polling places on election day (read: intimidate anyone who looks like a probable Dem. voter). This is going to get ugly.

      • Kitten says:

@Miranda-My mom is all paranoid about that because she believes Trump-supporters have no scruples. Not to get too crazy with the conspiracy theories but you know, Russia, etc……

      • Rachel says:

Oh Kitten, I’ve been worried about the same thing, and I do not consider myself a conspiracy theorist, but a realist. It’s easy enough for candidates to commit voter fraud without help from other … interested parties who have already proven themselves to have a vested interest in the outcome.

      • doofus says:

those unofficial “poll watchers” are going to get themselves in trouble.

you can’t interfere with someone’s right to vote unless you are an Official Challenger or hired poll worker, and even then there are steps you need to take to challenge.

there is no politicking allowed within a certain distance of the polls, and you are not allowed to loiter if you’re not voting or working. and local police or sherriffs are required to enforce theses laws.

ETA: Russia is def interfering and feeding his campaign information…yesterday, there were a bunch of fake/altered emails purportedly from Clinton’s campaign manager indicating her responsibility for Benghazi that were only published on a Russian state-run media website. they were proven fake pretty quickly, but Drumpf had them before anyone else did.

      • Tiffany :) says:

@Tiffany, yes, I saw that. And, yes, it was terrifying, especially coming from a woman. Her paranoia and ignorance was/is astounding. The incident reminded me of McCain trying to talk sense to a tea bagger about Obama being an Arab. http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/trailguide/la-na-trailguide-updates-mike-pence-halts-trump-supporter-for-1476223249-htmlstory.html

      • jwoolman says:

At least Pence had the sense to say no, don’t do that. He knows how important it is to have a peaceful transition in our elections. Wonder if he’s getting worried about his running mate finally.

    • Esmom says:

Yes. This space is very much needed. My local paper just ran a piece about local GOP women who are standing in support of Trump. They posted it on FB and no one commented for about 12 hours but finally now people are chiming in to denounce these loons.

    • Kitten says:

      YES. Completely agree.

I’m done with social media for a while (this place doesn’t count right?) after last night just going IN on some Trump-supporter on my friend’s page.
I don’t want to do that sh*t anymore because it’s an exercise in futility. Nothing will get through to these fools.

      • Esmom says:

Kitten, I don’t count this as social media because we are anonymous. Funny how people can feel more in sync here than with their “real life” peeps.

      • Shark Bait says:

Yeah unfortunately on facebook it’s a lot of family and coworkers who write terrible things about Hillary and/or support this ding dong. It’s not just old high school classmates or people I don’t have to actually interact with. So I try my hardest not to go in on facebook. I try to stay on instagram which is a much happier place right now. And I love to read to comments on here, even though I can’t banter much because I’m not around my phone or computer for a few hours at a time.

      • Erinn says:

Honestly… I’ve had to ban myself from reading most posts regarding this election. I’m Canadian for god sakes – and I’m so completely disgusted and horrified. The thing that hurts the most isn’t seeing Trump say the things he says – I sadly expect it at this point.

The thing that hurts is reading all of the dismissal, and defense of what he says. I refuse to talk politics with any family members at this point, and I’ve hidden some people from my feed/blocked them. But I always make the mistake of looking at the facebook trending topics thing, and seeing all the randos posting their defense of this piece of excrement. And all the people saying “oh this is just how men talk”.

It makes me beyond ragey. Every day is a new rage. So I’ve basically been venturing to this site, and checking my messages on fb only. Then go on instagram for the cat photos, basically.

      • swak says:

So, I haven’t posted any meme’s either for against either candidate, but one popped up on my FB. It was a cat with a slice of pizza around it’s face and says: I heard what Trump grabs (on top) and on bottom says: I am a pizza. I try to stay out of the discussion on FB. Some of it is nasty on both sides.

      • Kitten says:

@Shark Bait-that’s exactly what I should be doing. My IG is all cats, dogs and other animals so… happy-happy.

@swak-My friend posted that meme on my page! Ha.
You are smart to stay out of it and I’ve already deleted a bunch of stuff I posted. I wish I had just never said anything to begin with.

I don’t know how to explain it but it isn’t even really about politics for me–it’s become something personal.
Because I HATE that man and everything he stands for and because I love my country and can’t bear the thought of this bastard at the helm.

      • Rachel says:

Kitten, do you follow Beth Stern?? All kitties, all the time! Best therapy EVER.

      • The Other Katherine says:

Kitten, it’s deeply personal to me too. I feel that everyone who supports and makes excuses for this monstrous Cheeto-coloured golem is telling women — all women, including me — your life experiences, your concerns, your safety, your bodily integrity don’t matter to us. You are not real human beings. You do not count. Damn right I take it personally.

Erinnn, I tried to explain to my husband this very thing, that I’m upset by Trump’s supporters far more than Trump. He doesn’t understand why I’m surprised that so many people still hold such appalling reactionary views and points me to Nazi Germany for historical parallels. :-/ He means well but it isn’t helpful.

      • smd says:

Kitten and Little darling, I’m laying flat on my back reading all your great comments and hoping for relief. My back and neck are spasming and I know exactly from what, a stressful 2 weeks at work hunched over a computer and waaay to much anger, outrage, sadness and fear over this fraud running for office. Bad combo ad now my neck and back are out. I stopped watching the news the other day when I kept hearing the stupid phrase “locker talk” and “crude language” about women. No idiots, we weren’t freaked out by the word kitty, it was the word GRAB and KISS, because that’s sexual assault! Like many here been cleaning house on Facebook, unfriending some, others just blocking posts. But I will never think of many of these people I know the same way again once they continued to back Trump or denounce HRC for some ridiculous unfounded reason after all that’s come to light. Sigh, hoping hubby gets home soon from pharmacy, my body is totally over this man and those still supporting him blindly!

      • jwoolman says:

Stephen Colbert did a brief thing about the debate from his home with a feline colleague, who he picked up and cuddled at the point in a sentence where he would have to quote Trump’s “p-word”….

    • dom says:

I think she should cover DT everyday too. But why not cover all the breaking news on HRC also?

  5. Tiffany27 says:

I hate this man so much. I have no words left.

    • Kitten says:

Me too. I don’t know if I’ve ever despised someone more than him.

In the bright side, Trump-rage has fueled some really good runs for me the past few weeks. Finally got my 8 mile time under and hour 😉

      • MCraw says:

        Bravo! Very impressive Kitten

      • Feebee says:

I suppose that puts the don’t exercise when you’re angry study to bed.

      • MC2 says:

Congrats! I thought about planning a work out after the last debate and I didn’t- I instead yelled, ate bad food & typed here but I had so much energy to burn. Next time….

      • Tiffany27 says:

Congrats Kitten!!! I’ve actually begun practicing breathing exercises because this election has made me that rages. I wanna take up running, but good Lord I suck at it.

    • nicole says:

Tiffany27, I am with you, he really is deplorable and so is his voters.

    • EM says:

Yes, yes and yes!! I despise not only him but his family, his supporters and pretty much anyone that thinks this election is a joke and is voting 3rd party or abstaining. There is no going back Trump’s ambition and malignancy has destroyed the U.S. – I doubt there is going back from this.

  6. Anne says:

I love your daily Trump posts, they’re the first I read! I hope you keep the segment.

Even if that would be considered acceptable to speak that way in a locker room, he wasn’t in a locker room! He was WORKING!!

    • Who ARE These People? says:

I know. But I think to men like Trump, everywhere they go is like a locker room, a friendly pro-guy atmosphere where they can be “naked” in more ways than one. At least that’s how he sees it. Life as one big gilded man cave.

      • Flan says:

I think you make a really good point there.

He tries to dominate every environment he’s in and have it cater to his sexist whims. And then white men wonder why other groups need safe spaces.

    • Giddy says:

My husband played football through college, and he is insulted at the “locker room” claim. He says that he never heard anything comparable to that bus conversation. Trump and Billy were truly disgusting, and the idea that some people shrug and say boys will be boys is insulting to good men.

      • smd says:

Giddy totally agree! Two men I work with echoed the same thing, they played a variety of sports through High-school and college. One said while he may of heard language like that (she’s stackec, etc) neither had ever, ever heard of someone saying they just grabbed or starting kissing women and neither had heard the word kitty in the locker room. In fact they both said that if coaches heard anything remotely like that it would have been suspension or some immediate punishment. And typically if someone was making statements and it got lewd other players usually said “hey, thats enough, that’s rude, not here, not on our team, etc., because they felt it reflected badly on all of them.

  7. Lisa says:

I don’t even live in the USA, but this rotten, sunburnt pumpkin keeps me up at night! I’ve dealt with narcissists and pathological liars before and they infuriate you, but this is next level BONKERS!

    • notpretentious says:

      @Lisa
      “rotten, sunburnt pumpkin ”

That is how I will refer to him from now on. Thank you for that hilarious comment!

    • Christin says:

I have thought about some of the most frustrating, bragging, fibbing people I have ever personally encountered, and this seems to be a level beyond.

And to think — this is basically the ‘courtship’ phase when a candidate typically tries to show their best demeanor!

    • Bazoo says:

As a lifelong republican and a person who abhors and couldn’t think worse of Hillary Clinton, can I just say there is no way I am voting for this misogynic, delusional, narcissistic, sexist pig of a maniac who calls himself The Donald? Yes, that’s how bad this election is for me!

      • Lisa says:

At least there are still some sane people left then… I really hope party loyalty doesn’t cost us all in the end…

      • Tinkerbell says:

BAZOO, I totally agree! I’m a lifelong Republican (moderate) and never in a million years would I have thought I would be voting for Hilary Clinton. I don’t know if I’m voting for her or doing a write-in yet, but there is no way I’m voting for Trump. I’m not even sure I’m Republican anymore if this is who our party chooses. Some of my girlfriends and family members are voting for him. It just shocks me. I think he’s impulsive and dangerous…not to mention how he views women, minorities, anyone who disagrees with him, etc. Have we turned off our thinking caps?

      • Bazoo says:

Tinkerbell, I’m also questioning whether or not I’m still a Republican. I still can’t bring myself to vote for Hillary but I know I will not vote for Trump. Can we write in Ken Bone?

      • Trashaddict says:

Have faith. Carry your head high. And VOTE.

      • Trashaddict says:

Lisa, Tinkerbell, Bazoo – If you split the vote and don’t go for Hillary – we WILL end up with Trump. I hope you can look at this election with a clear eye towards your, and your daughters (if you have them, and your sons, too!) futures. There are gray zones in politics. You may not like Hillary personally. But even a 1% chance of Donald? Do you really want to take that chance? I am literally BEGGING you here, consider your impact in this election and make your votes count.
Although the choice is yours alone, I can tell you that my dyed-in-the-wool Republican father-in-law, and my husband who has swung Republican in recent elections, cannot bring themselves to vote for Trump. And they are voting for Hillary because they don’t want him to win by default either. Is that possibility acceptable to you? I hope not.

    • nicole says:

Lisa, great discription, he really does look like a burnt pumpkin ha, ha.

    • LoveIsBlynd says:

Look up Borderline sociopaths. He’s a spin doctor who constantly shifts the blame. His tape was about assault/misogyny- not sex talk. Now he’s inciting his supporters into paranoia regarding voter fraud- so if HRC does win- it’s the “crooked-ness”. REally a scary person to hold a national platform, but hey, it’s the age of the sociopath and there are millions of people in transition economically who are latching onto the cult of hatred that is trump. When Obama was elected in 2008 it was a full-body relief, and I anticipate that same feeling when HRC is elected. Now let’s work to get special interests/corporations (ahem MonSatan) out of government!

  8. Natalie S says:

Sounds like poetic justice to me. And to a female candidate too!

Donald can skulk behind Hillary and cut her off and threaten her, but his bag of trick won’t help him this time.

Hilarious watching Bill O’Reilly have to soothe that orange gasbag into calming down. Lie down with dogs, get up with this having to be his life.

    • Naya says:

Yes. The best thing out of all of this is that he gets to lose to a woman. Not just a woman but a highly educated and accomplished one who looks nothing like his prototype woman.

    • Christin says:

He claims he did NOT walk behind her. He said he remained at his chair, and SHE invaded his space! You cannot make this stuff up!

      • nicole says:

I saw that on Bill O’Reilly last night, he really is a big douchebag who never can admit he is wrong, he really is a strange being.

  9. Bex says:

I hope every single woman in America goes out to vote and then we never hear from this awful human again.

  10. t.fanty says:

That’s not pretty sad; it’s freaking awesome.

    • Kitten says:

Yes and no. I can’t help but be saddened by the large percentage of men who endorse Trump’s misogyny, who have no problem ignoring the fact that this man was accused of raping a 13-year-old.

I’m side-eying dudes right and left and I’d be lying if I said this election didn’t affect how I feel about men. That second map: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/election-update-women-are-defeating-donald-trump/

Just…WOW. I can’t get past the idea that men really just don’t want a female president. If you would chose that soulless piece of human garbage over a qualified female presidential candidate…SMDH

      • Flan says:

Yeah and then some guys are saying women only vote for Hillary because she is a woman.

        Laughable.

For the whole time since the USA came into existence, men have voted for men because they were men. For the largest part of its history not a single woman was even allowed to vote. And then they turn around with a straight face and whine about women voting for a woman.

        Get the F out.

      • SandWitch says:

It is unfortunate, but for the past couple of years I’ve lost respect for more and more men. And thanks to Facebook, twitter, etc. I get to see all the relatives that harbor misogynistic thoughts. I cringe at the thought of having to sit at the holiday table with these cretins knowing how they feel about women.

I envy people who don’t have to spend holidays with relatives.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

Our extended family loves all that is Trump. We may stay home for thanksgiving this year!

  11. Jayna says:

How sad it is that the power of female voters can effect this election. Poor baby. Go cry on Newt Gingrich’s shoulder or Christie’s shoulder or any of your other like-minded ilk.

    • Jayna says:

      Edit. Affect, not effect.

    • Lisa says:

Oh Jayna, you forgot that great statesman, Rudy Guiliani. Like the rest you mentioned, all the Orange One’s deplorable surrogates seem a gang of pathetic, hypocritical misogynists. I can’t wait until November 9th when I never have to see or think about them again.

      • Jayna says:

@Lisa, I meant to add him in. Thanks.

      • nicole says:

Giuliani, is the worst of all in my book, he really has showed his true colours, but I think he is hoping Trump will give him a big job in his cabinet if he wins, thats why he is being such a big suck up. But boy does he hate Hillary Clinton, wonder what she ever did to him to make him so nasty about her.

    • Giddy says:

How sad for them that women ever got the vote. I can picture Trump, Guiliani, and Gingrich mourning the good ole days before all the womenfolk got so demanding and uppity!

      • Lisa says:

Just the fact that they have 9 wives between them tells me everything I ever need to know about this immoral trio. Ugh!

  12. Tate says:

He is such a vile POS. 😡

    • Bazoo says:

I always said if Hillary ever ran, I’d vote for a trained ape before I’d vote for her. Well, the GOP found itself an ape and now I have to eat my words. 🙁

      • MCraw says:

Bazoo: awesome comment is awesome, lol.

It’s just incredible to me to see the GOP go so far off course with the fringe elements instead if the more centrist ones. This has become an embarrassing freak show of a circus. I can’t stand HRC, but that woman, no matter what your politics are, is prepared for that job.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

I’m disappointed in her association with Monsanto – you can’t claim to care about climate change and get hired by a corporation that is destroying the planet by poisoning the food supply. The horrors of GMOs are just staggering, but they can’t be labeled and explained cuz us simple peasants would get a’scared n’ confused. However, Trump would not doubt get into a grope fest w/Monsanto as well as hire his fascist lackeys as supreme court justices. I just have to put my words into action and fight against the part of her policies that are unacceptable.

  13. Sixer says:

There are two maps going around at the moment showing the gender breakdown in voting intentions. The men’s map is almost all red. The women’s map is almost all blue. It’s quite shocking to see it laid out like that.

Shout if anyone wants it and I’ll try to find it. It’s from one of your big election stats websites, but I can’t remember which one.

    • Lynnie says:

538 is the website’s name. Those two maps were very telling to me. Just like how race was a key part of the obstructionism towards Obama’s presidency, sexism will be towards Hillary’s 😢.

      • Sixer says:

I’ve been reading what all you guys have been saying and all, but it’s hard to gauge stuff properly when you’re in another country. I honestly almost fainted when I saw those maps. It’s a stark picture alright.

      • mee says:

awesome map. poor trumpy getting trumped by women. can you imagine what he’ll say next – “if i become president, i’m going to get rid of womens right to vote! they overreact and nearly cost us our right to bear arms and grab pu$$ies.”

      • Lady D says:

I showed those maps to my son and 2 friends. They are in their late 20’s and they were shocked that that many men would vote for Trump. It really floored them. I was at a friend’s for Thanksgiving dinner on the weekend. They have 3 daughters and 3 nieces ranging from 12 to 17 and it made my heart soar to listen to them discuss and slam Donald for his words. It was glorious.
I’m sorry that doesn’t help your election, but you are not alone in your complete disdain and contempt for that man.

    • Bex says:

I think you might mean this Sixer, from Nate Silver: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/election-update-women-are-defeating-donald-trump/

      It’s hugely eye opening

      • Sixer says:

Yep. I now realise that the last of Kaiser’s links go to the page. Sorry, Kaiser!

        It is eye-opening.

      • Louisa says:

I find these maps really disheartening. WTF guys!! I knew there would be some difference by gender but not by such a huge number. Yes I know #notallmen but enough men that clearly don’t value or care about the women in this country.

    • detritus says:

This is stamping out the little bright spot I had from men speaking out on ‘locker room’ talk.
      Thank you for sharing though.

      Also, Nate Silver is lovely.

      • Esmom says:

Try not to let it. I just went to a party Sunday night where all 10 men (plus all the spouses) there are vocal Hillary supporters. Two had just come from knocking door to door for her and one is now taking time off from work to travel and do more of that. Not all guys are “face down in the kool-aid,” in fact they never went near it!

      • Kitten says:

Thank you, Esmom. I needed to read that today.

      • lucy2 says:

All the guys I work with are voting for Hillary.

      • Flan says:

Esmom, you know some awesome people!

    • lightpurple says:

Also, Sixer, it is important to remember when looking at US political maps that the presidency is determined by the electoral college and not all states have the same number of votes in the electoral college. There are a lot of big square states in the middle of our country that do not have a lot of people, some of them actually may have more bison and elk than people, and those big, empty square states tend to vote conservatively but they get only 4 or 5 electoral votes. So, a political map may look one way based on the colors showing but can actually be reflecting something different based on the numbers that go with each block.

      • Kitten says:

Yes that is very true. Thanks for reminding me.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

This is why the electoral college was devised in the first place, to further uphold some kind of proportionate representation and minimize the potential for mob rule – “the tyranny of the majority.” It’s imperfect but still meaningful given what we’ve been seeing about disastrous referenda over the past few decades, from California’s Proposition 13 undercutting the tax base to Brexit to Colombia. It can block what many would see as more forward-looking referenda but seems cut from the same cloth as the justice system’s attempts to prevent even one wrongful conviction.

      • Sixer says:

        Thank you!

      • Lightpurple says:

Montana and the Dakotas take up huge chunks of the map but combined they have the same number of votes as tiny RI, tiny Delaware, and DC, which is just a city, combined, and two fewer votes than tiny Massachusetts, which has 11. Throw Wyoming in with Montana and the Dakotas and you’ve covered most of the northwest corner of the map and have only 12 votes, compared to the 29 of the six small New England states, all of which could fit in Montana twice with room to spare. So, maps can be really confusing and misleading

      • Meredith says:

That’s why I love that 538 does a map based on the electoral college. All that blue soothes my soul. It’s posted here towards the center of the page:
        http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/?ex_cid=rrpromo

    • Veronica says:

Not as shocking if you’re an American who’s been paying attention for the last decade or so. Part of the polarization around this election is that it’s reflective of a larger culture war at play. White, patriarchal culture seeing its power base eroded by shifting demographics and technology that empowers the voices of women and non-whites. The American superpower seeing its fiscal and military supremacy challenged by the changing nature of war and rise of the Asian economic giants. The birth of a second civil rights movement and third wave feminism. People are asking “How did we get here?” But it’s fairly obvious if you look at the history behind it.

      • mee says:

interesting – yes this cultural/political tension started in the 90s from what i remember. but it seemed to subside by the late 90s, especially during the Bush years (of course b/c the good old white boys were in power again). i guess Obama sparked the flames and Hillary is causing their heads to explode. i just wish the orange one’s would explode – cannot stand to look at his ugly mug. he’s always remarking on the appearance of women around him but he’s apparently never looked in the mirror.

      • Sixer says:

        Yes, I can see that.

I’m interested because, here in Britland we get the main US headlines – a bit of Trump v Clinton, school shootings, police brutality, etc. But what we obviously don’t get is much of a real sense of the breadth of/polarisation of opinion held by all the average people. It’s amazing, despite all the cultural differences, how many parallels there are here in Britain, where we’re having seismic shifts of our own.

      • Kitten says:

        Yes very true…excellent comment.

      • MC2 says:

So true Veronica and has also been scaring the crap out of me. Nations are most at risk for crazies when they are shifting, like we are. After studying how WWII happened and then watching this election, starting from years ago, it really has gotten me scared. I feel like it’s two roads from here- one is really good & has progress, the other one dumps us into fear, hate & violence. I am hopeful that we will choose the right path……

That being said- I am super interested in how the angry, despondent deplorables raise their heads every few years and what we can do about it. I heard someone on NPR say every couple decades a movement like this happens with different names & faces??? I’d like to teach racists & sexist people that when they try to push us, that we will fight & push harder then ever. We should NOT appease these people (see WWII). We should show that when you rise up to take away rights, you get smashed down & then progress happens while you lay on the ground grabbing your nuts in pain.

      • Tina says:

It really is fascinating, the parallels between the US and the UK, and the wider parallels to the rise of populism worldwide, with Le Pen et al. I think it’s important to note that this is not going to go away, even if Clinton wins in November (and I’m sure she will). We need to figure out how to make the lives of the precariat better (for me, the answer in the US involves higher taxes on the wealthy and I have absolutely no idea what the answer is in the UK).

Sixer, you may be interested in this, from Paul Krugman’s blog: http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2016/10/11/notes-on-brexit-and-the-pound/?module=BlogPost-Title&version=Blog%20Main&contentCollection=Opinion&action=Click&pgtype=Blogs&region=Body He sets out the issues more succinctly than anything I’ve read in the British press.

      • smd says:

Elise, have you noticed how HRC has been looking thicker the last couple of months in the midsection? Several rumors that she wears a very large, super bullet proof vest in public at all times now. She used to only wear it when doing crowded public evets, but due to credible threat risks she’s wearing it any time she goes out publicy. One of my cousins is a retired policeman that runs a private security company in NY, he said it’s fairly obvious she wears one now, take a closer look at midsection pics from a year ago versus current. Glad if she’s protecting herself but BS and I’m horrified she has to do this. 🙁

    • LoveIsBlynd says:

I guess I live in a different demographic- the Colorado mountains where of course most men vote with their marijuana and want Jill Stein or the other ding dong Gary Johnson. It’s really a study in how pot distorts your right to vote. If the fringe candidates wouldn’t seduce away the hipsters, then I’d feel more at ease that trump won’t win.

  14. Rapunzel says:

I saw a FB meme saying we should be more outraged by famous women their own crotches, like Miley Cyrus, or Katy Perry or Rhianna. I actually had to unfriend this person who posted. I draw the line there– if you can’t understand the difference between touching your own body and having someone else touch you without permission, I have no time for you.

    • lightpurple says:

And none of those women are running for president. Also, those pushing forth that idea have no clue whether those who are outraged about Trump bragging about sexual assault support the careers of those women.

    • doofus says:

yeah, right up there with all the 50 shades memes (as in, “if women are so offended by Trump’s words, who is buying all those copies of…”).

to which I respond “the difference is summed up in one word…CONSENT. and if you don’t see the diff, you’re a rapist, too.”

      • And the one about how what Trump says put in music and rapped by Lil Wayne because America loves filth. What. Is. THAT????

(I actually messaged one of my friends and let her know I was going to have to clapback at a ton of her right wing women friends mental gymnastics and typical uneducated rebuttals.

        👏🏼Clapback:👏🏼
One. Rappers are not running for president.

Two. The problem is only partially what Trump said. A lot of us have said a lot of things. The biggest problem is what he implied. All contextual clues point to this being an action that he has repeatedly done. Add in the fact that he continues to portray this attitude with his “words” about women. Add in, the fact that women have corroborated these accounts of statements he has made, as well as fellow coworkers, friends and peers. He has an actual rape case charged against him right now. All implications would point to, no matter what he is trying to backtrack and say now, the fact that these are indeed actions that he used to and probably still does in fact do. You would have to be purposefully avoiding the reality of the situation to think otherwise, or easily fooled.

Three. Bringing up something that Bill has done to offshoot what Trump has done is just trying to shift the discussion. Stop it. Bill has already been a discussion. He’s already paid his price with his impeachment trial, admitting that he was a sexual addict. That’s LONG over. We are talking about Trump. Please try to focus.

Fourth. I can’t believe I have to say this, but Hillary is not Bill. The stories about her laughing have been debunked. Her defending that guy was her job. One that lawyers all over the U.S. do everyday.

Fifth. Bringing up other issues you have with Hillary are again trying to shift the discussion. There are numerous things you could bring up about both candidates. They are not applicable to the discussion at hand. Again, I know it’s hard but really try to focus.

Sixth, on the subject of rap; it is not the only genre of music that has used crude language or sexual language before. Please stop trying to act like that is the case, I could point to any number of songs in almost every genre except for instrumental, that talks about sexual content. They may not use all the same words, but it’s the same subject, and they talk about the same actions. No popular, or even not so popular, rap songs talk about raping anyone or forcing anyone to do something against their will. Unless they are heavily underground. I for one haven’t heard of any and I bet most of the critics of rap haven’t either. They just don’t want their sensitive ears to hear naughty words. Again though, rappers are not running for president. Additionally, I was only able to find ONE example of a rapper talking about sexual assault (RICK ROSS) People were OUTRAGED he issued a crazy long apology in addition to losing endorsements (as he should!)

Lastly, to reiterate, it’s not so much the words, as the implied actions.

        👏🏼End clapback. I am SO DONE!!!! 👏🏼

    • Shark Bait says:

I will judge the crap out of anyone who posts an alt-right type meme like that.

    • Kitten says:

      Good god people are morons.

    • Trillion says:

Oh I am commenting the F out of that meme. It’s my project. I have a lot of conservatives on my FB due to my background and I am not letting this one slide AT ALL. And you know what’s super sad? I’ve mostly seen it posted by women. Ugh. But maybe we’re helping to get the consent message out there. Apparently it’s a really hard concept.

      • WHY are these being posted by women??? I simply don’t get it. It hurts me. I too have been a vigilante with commenting, and I don’t usually take politics to my FB. But with this, with Black Lives Matter, damn the stakes are WAY too high to remain silent.

      • Flan says:

Women who post that have been thought they can only have value if they are valued by men. That’s why they’re so desperate to pretend to like Trump.

Does not mean I respect them. Other women have been thought the same, and have learned to think for themselves.

    • Esmom says:

These stupid memes that mention Fifty Shades (fiction!) or Miley (entertainment!) or whoever really demonstrate that people don’t seem to grasp the distinction between politics and entertainment. As someone has said elsewhere and probably here too, I’m afraid this is what the failures in our school system hath wrought.

      • Otaku Fairy says:

Not trying to defend 50 shades, but all the arguments trying to justify or put the blame for Trump’s actions and his words (from 2005) on a book (from 2012) that some women enjoyed are over the top ridiculous and disturbing. Disturbing because it’s all part of the rape culture trend of using whatever sexual/sexualized things women are consenting to as either a justification for violence against women and the whole ‘boys will be boys’ mentality, or blaming those things on women. I didn’t see the Katy Perry/Rihanna/Miley meme, but that’s just as ridiculous and problematic as the 50 shades of gray comment. But Trump supporters are desperate, and since Trump himself is illogical and dangerous, his groupies were bound to have illogical and dangerous responses to this too.

  15. Juniper says:

The man lies constantly. And I mean constantly. He doesn’t even know he does it. What women does he have coming up to him all the time? Since two days agos? Yeah- ok. When he opens his mouth all you can be sure of is that at some point he will lie, at some point he will say he has or is the ‘best’ at something (or at least take any and every point to an extreme) and he will call Hillary crooked. That’s it.

  16. Bunbun says:

Yes, blame women again you creamsicled ass.

  17. lightpurple says:

Yes, Donald, how horrible that we women have the right to vote. Once you’re president, no doubt you’ll get right on appealing that pesky 19th amendment.

By the way, if you had bothered to read the job description, you would know that the president’s job duties include administration of the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, which investigates and prosecutes cases of sexual harassment in the workplace, so yes, this is just as important as ISIS.

    • Persephone says:

I’m not sure he even knows there are that many, and you’d probably need to explain them using small words and pictures.
I’m not overly familiar with the US Constitution but it does seem that a lot of what he’s claiming he’ll do is in violation of it.

    • smd says:

Lilac purple I love you! 🍷👏❤ as well as the whole veranda gang and Kaiser for posting some of the best links and coverage of this election. Kaiser, you should be nominated for an award for your outstanding coverage, I truly mean it!
For those who laughed at us over our crazed fun ranting on Tiddlebanging posts, doesn’t it make sense now? It was such harmless fun! Consenting adults engaged in ridiculous photo ops for publicity. Bring it back! I need some freaking swan fudge pastries, romantic papped dinners and ridculous tweets/instagram posts…
Instead, having to watch a significant part of the population do everything in their powere to turn back the clock on every basic civil/human right hard fought and earned over last 50 years. I hope this vitriol being spewed by the far Christian right is their death rattle. How are we going to explain this election in 20 years? Heck I can’t explain it now!

  18. SusanneToo says:

I HATE, LOATHE, DESPISE, ABHOR donald trump. ISIS, ISIS, ISIS, Second Amendment, locker room talk. What a platform. Make America Hate Again. Did I remember to say I hate donald trump?

    • Kitten says:

Everyday, it’s a battle for me to contain my rage.

(and yes I know that’s not healthy. As I said up-thread, I’m boycotting social media until after the election–for self-preservation if nothing else)

But this man is the physical embodiment of every human quality that I loathe: deceitful, misogynistic, greedy, xenophobic, narcissistic, ignorant, racist, intolerant, obnoxious, unapologetic, self-involved, superficial, vulgar, boorish, insensitive, callous….did I miss anything?

      • Trillion says:

I have a lot of Trump supporters on my feed, all of them Christians. How are they overlooking the above mentioned qualities and voting for this POS? For these special cases, my comments often contain only two words, such as Trump Vodka. Or Trump Casinos. Just hoping that sinks in around 3AM when they’ve logged off the echo chamber.

      • Kitten says:

You should just post the affidavit of the rape case with the words “How ’bout them Family Values?”

I mean, do they KNOW that he was accused of raping a 13-year-old? Oh right, they just ignore it or condone it, excuse it like they do for all of his abhorrent behavior.

        Christians my ass.

      • Flan says:

@Trillion, sad to say it’s not that weird that Christians vote for Trump. The Bible is full of misogynist stuff.

It’s full of good stuff as well (and there are lots of good Christians!), but there is definitely a relation. Christianity has helped justify oppression of women for centuries.

    • Nicole says:

      @Kitten
Applause! All I know around this city is Southern Baptist hypocrites. Even when I went to a Southern baptist private school, I fought them, made petitions asking for tolerance for those not of the same faith. It really chapped their asses. Ah, good times.

  19. Lisa says:

So basically… If he loses it will be the ignorant, easily-offended by locker room talk, over-sensitive little women who are to blame for Isis, because hormones I guess? what a piece of work. PLEASE soften your comment policy so I can get off my chest what I really think!

    • Trillion says:

exactly: This will be his reasoning that he lost. All because of his comments caught on tape. He’ll be able to put all the focus there and ignore all the millions of other reasons women AND MEN cannot stand him.

  20. tracking says:

Nice to see the Trump men are sticking to the talking point supplied by the female campaign manager: “just silly locker room banter.” And bullsh*t this is not who he is. It is exactly who he is.

    • embertine says:

Yeah, either this is harmless banter, or it’s bad but not who Trump really is. Pick one, douchenuts.

    • Scal says:

My biggest issue with this that I point out to the ‘locker room’ folks is that he wasn’t in a locker room. HE WAS AT WORK. And that’s not a conversation to have at work.

Also if you can’t see the difference between guys bragging about consensual conquests in the locker room and crudely describing sexual assault I have no words.

      • Who ARE These People? says:

To Trump and men like him, the workplace IS one big locker room — “women keep out.” I believe he really does not understand that the world does not work that way any more.

      • Flan says:

        Exactly.

        Well said both of you.

  21. Lynnie says:

This quote only has the effect of guilt tripping his female suoporters, and alienating everyone else. So keep it coming I say. That and more leaked scandals against him. There HAS to be more.

  22. Christin says:

I was flipping through news channels and saw part of his interview with Bill. The orange one actually brought up and DENIED that he was walking behind HC at the debate. He claims SHE walked into his space and he merely remained at his chair.

Serious question — What causes someone to deny things that are on video for all to see again? It is baffling.

    • doofus says:

and you could probably show him the video of him doing what he denies doing and he’d say “that’s not me on that video.”

    • mee says:

it really is the sign of a sociopath isn’t it. he lies without any compunction, but more than that, with the arrogance of someone who doesn’t care that EVERYONE KNOWS HE’S LYING. someone brought up on another thread that possibly he has early alzheimers. not sure if that’s true, but that would be the only other thing to explain his complete disregard for reality and the facts.

      • Trashaddict says:

DING DING DING DING DING DING DING! You got it, mee! The world is watching as we have an actual sociopath running for President! Who’d have thought we’d come to this! One step forward with Obama, a millenium back. He wants the world for his locker room! Excuse me, I have to go barf now. But I love you all, Celebitchies…..

    • Trillion says:

Not knowing what he tweeted a week earlier at 3am.
Not know what question Clinton had been asked 2 minutes earlier.
Complaining about the media not covering the wikileaks release of Podesta’s emails. They are covering them and the comment sections are full of Trump supporters complaining about them not being covered. btw the emails are quite boring and therefore the coverage of them is quite boring, not a cat synonym is sight.

    • Kitten says:

It’s just astounding how far this man has his head jammed up his ass.

Did anybody see the Vox video that details Trump’s emotionally abuse? Oh wait I got it..not sure if it’s already been posted here:

      http://www.vox.com/2016/10/11/13234010/donald-trump-textbook-emotional-abuse-debate

They did an excellent job breaking down all of his abusive behavior.
Admittedly, I had a pang of sympathy for Trump’s wife and kids when I watched that. He must be a huge nightmare as a father and a husband.

      • MC2 says:

I like that video as a whole & thanks for the link. But I hate that reporters are saying the women that Trump paraded before the debate are “Women that accused Bill Clinton of rape” and showing all the women. Nope. One of those women accused Bill Clinton of rape, two accused him of sexual harassment & the woman who is mad at Hillary for being a lawyer. I feel terrible parsing that out (only one woman accused him of rape……god I hate writing that & it feels wrong) but it’s bad reporting and I keep seeing it everywhere.

It’s making Trump win & spin the truth when we say that 4 women accused Bill of rape…it’s one woman and her story has been out & looked at since 1992. Here is what Hillary said about the accusers who are not new women to her and she feels that they have been disproved:

CNN reported that during a campaign stop in New Hampshire in Dec. 2015, a woman asked Clinton what she would say to Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones. Clinton responded, “Well, I would say that everyone should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence.”

      • Kitten says:

@ MC2-No not at all! I really appreciate that you caught that and corrected it. Facts facts facts. Kill them with facts.

And I actually never saw that quote from HRC. Well-played on her part for sure.

      • Lightpurple says:

I’m thinking of carrying a sign “Paula Jones LOST!” everywhere I go. As for Broaddrick, I would really like her to explain why, on those occasions when her claims could have mattered but she would have had to stand by them under the pains and penalties of perjury, she has instead sworn her own claims are unfounded. At least twice.

      • MC2 says:

Kitten- I though her quote was spot on too.

Lightpurple- Your sign made me laugh out loud. Paula keeps trying to come back. When she yelled at the press conference I cringed because I’ve been listening to her since the 1990s and lord…..it was bad then and bad now but with a bedazzled baseball cap.

I hate being on the side of doubting a rape accuser but man….after being sworn in (and I’ve been sworn in- it feels like no joke), she said that Bill Clinton did not rape her more then once. Now she says he did and it sucks because republicans would never let it stand for an accuser that swore under oath it didn’t happen to be paraded about. Hillary will not be the one to point the finger at an accuser and call her a liar. Kudos to her.

      • lightpurple says:

@MC2, Broaddrick seems eager to make the claim when it will get her support and attention but whenever the time comes to make her claim, under the pains and penalties of perjury, which has happened at least twice, she completely reverses her story.

This is not surprising, many of the religious extremists that took over the GOP years ago believe that we need to go back to the good ol’ days of coverture because wimmin-folk really are chattel who need to submit to their husbands, fathers or brothers. Some have even questioned the wisdom of letting women vote

    • Who ARE These People? says:

Yup, it’s the flip side of all the Republican hypocrites who suddenly care about Trump because he moves on white women. It’s “lock up your wives and daughters” all over again — protecting women or protecting property rights?

  27. Nancy says:

Put that child down Lucifer. Have that baby cleansed with Holy Water.

  28. Emily says:

If I have to hear him say “locker room talk” one more time, I am going to have a rage black out. Its extremely offensive to not only women but to men and professional athletes who do not find humour in sexually assaulting women. This is more than banter. He is inciting hate, which in Canada can be found illegal (I remember a case where a history teacher taught students the Holocaust didn’t happen was found guilty of inciting hate against Jews). The man might become the freaking leader of a country! How can he say words don’t matter! If he condones racism and sexual assault, I would be very afraid of hate crimes escalating.

Trevor Noah said it best. Its not the vulgar words, its that you talked about assaulting someone. He compared a dude using bad language but ultimately respecting a woman’s right to say no with a calm, articulate man discussing rape. One is crude and the other is illegal.

    • Shark Bait says:

    • Who ARE These People? says:

Hmmm. Is it on private property?

Can it be made especially attractive there for dogs to poop? ; )

    • Veronica says:

I live in a liberal city (I feel blessed every day during this election) and I have been seeing that a lot. Just kill them with kindness but with more posters, bigger posters & bright colors!

    • doofus says:

I live in SW Virginia, and I am surrounded by Trump signs. I’m so glad to come here for a dose of sanity.

    • Otaku Fairy says:

Glad to see I’m not the only one who gets these fleeting little weird, pissed, urge-to-vandalize fantasies when I see pro- Trump signs, LOL. I noticed a small one on someone’s property in the next town over. But when I was somewhere in Pennsylvania a few weeks back there was this HUGE one. I wonder if it’s still up there and whether or not they’ll take it down because of the Trump tapes? People don’t realize the seriousness of what they’re advertising about who they are as people with all of this Trump support. (Or many of them do care, but give no f–ks because gender, race, ethnicity, or class protects them and the people they respect the most from the consequences of having someone like this as a president.)

      • Nicole says:

I work in a sign shop and just took an order for 3′ x 6′ TRUMP sign. All I could do was write up the order and sure I made the business 400 bux, but it broke a little piece of my heart and principles. Damn it, now I am upset again!

      • Esmom says:

A house near me has a huge Trump banner across the front of their house. I also wondered if they would take it down after the tapes, but nope. I also say leaving the signs is the best way to expose people’s idiocy (but I do understand the temptation to trash them, lol).

In this case with the Trump banner house, people have stopped patronizing this family’s business. Maybe that will send the message that they are on the wrong side of history.

      • Karina says:

I can empathize with you feeling upset, Nicole. :/ I shudder to think that Trump could be elected President.

I’m hoping he loses because of our male voters, as well.

It will be the most perfect, most satisfying symmetry when the downfall of the deplorable Donald comes about as a direct result of the female vote.

I had recent surgery. During the night my nurse came in to check on me, and it was time for my pain medication. I had MSNBC on low, and it was about Trump. As the nurse was adding the meds to my IV she muttered fu*king asshole. I died laughing, and she was so horrified, because she hadn’t realized that she was thinking out loud. I just wish I had some of that morphine to knock me out when I hear more hateful Trumpisms. BTW, it is my feeling that nurses are angels on earth. Bless them.

  44. Teebee says:

I have come to the conclusion that Trump will have supporters right to the day of the election. Supporters that can comfortably type their hateful defense of him from the safety of their homes. They will never back down from their support, no matter how irrational, misguided and plain ignorant it seems. There’s barely any new dirt on HRC, so they’ll spout and repeat the same old garbage conspiracy theories, and character assassinations that have become so thoroughly tedious, and disputed by the reputable press. But throw them a bone. They’re consistent in their dogged resolve to be clueless.

But come Election Day, with an impending Clinton victory, Trump’s numbers are going to be BRUTAL. Lowest in recorded history, it’ll be a landslide that not even the most optimistic and bright-eyed Clinton supporter could imagine. Because the kind of people who support Trump are the laziest people on the planet. At least when it comes to things that matter. These people have spent more time on their asses complaining about how the world has done them wrong, then ever spent trying to fix things. You can see the dopiness on their faces every time a camera pans a Trump rally. These people have been riled up, as much as they get riled up by a monster truck rally. It gives them a sense of release, like a bush party, or a kegger in the backyard. There’s probably beer, dudes, chicks, smokes, a good ol’ party at those stupid rallies. Reason enough to drag their asses off their barcaloungers for a night out.

But come Election Day, if they even know it’s the 8th of November, that’s another matter completely. When they will have to get their grumpy hungover asses out of their sprung mattresses, haul their butts to their local polling station, where they’ll have to stand in line, no fanfare, no booze, just quietly wait their turn to cast their ballot… Uh uh. They will have conveniently decided the night before, or perhaps even that morning, when bleary-eyed, they may have even set the clock, they struggle to figure out what day it actually is, that the election is rigged, that stupid libtards have sabotaged the process, that Trump’s visionary campaign has no chance of winning. And that it won’t matter if they vote. It’s a losing vote anyway. So what’s the point. And they’ll happily slide back under the covers. And take advantage of the half day off the country has given them on votin’ day. And when they see the numbers, they’ll blame the other dude, for not voting, they’ll have soooo much ammunition for their life long theory that the election was rigged, because the numbers will defy even their pea-sized intellects.

And that is what I think will happen on Election Day.

    • Nicole says:

Have you watched Triumph the Comic Dog’s 2 part series on the election? It is amazing and deserved to be nominated for an Emmy.

    • Anastasia says:

I have an aunt and uncle who have been relentless Trump supporters for the past year. I finally thought to look them up to see if they are even registered voters in their county.

      They are not.

DOOFUSES. The deadline has passed. (I looked them up this morning. They are not registered to vote as of this morning, which means no voting for them this year!)

My way of saying you’re probably right, but we CANNOT be complacent. I’m still fighting like hell to get out the vote.

    • Lightpurple says:

Last night Trump told his audience to remember to vote … on November 28

  45. Bridget says:

Lord I hate pictures of this man.

  46. Jusayin says:

I have a FB acquaintance who is a young blonde beautiful female business owner who is also Jewish. She is voting for Trump because in her words Hillary is a corrupt, hypocritical, unlawful, liar and a poor excuse of a human being.

Ok, but if you’re really being honest with all Trump has shown himself to be (all his interviews, speeches, books, tweets, legal dealings, etc. didn’t you just describe him?!?!

Now, I understand being sick of crooked politicians and status quo but really you instead want a crooked business owner that knows nothing of holding the highest political position?!?!

    • adastraperaspera says:

Not to mention the vicious anti-Semitism coming from Breitbart/Steve Bannon. My Jewish friends are terrified, and with good reason. Online attacks are being waged via anti-Semitic memes and threats. Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, is a Jewish man who is in on stoking these terrible fires. I guess he thinks he’s above it all. Tell that to the global Nazi/alt-right movements who will sweep him away if he is not careful. This is appalling. Trump must be stopped!

    • SusanneToo says:

Are these people total morons???? With their Hillary=liar bullsh1t!!! trump lies EVERY TIME he opens his a$$hole mouth. I don’t know how they feed themselves if they’re so f**king stupid they don’t see that.

  47. A says:

Trump literally talks about the same 3 to 5 things in every single f–king speech he gives. ISIS, stronger borders, making American great again, doing all the things we’re gonna do, and upgrading the military. He’s tacked on the stuff about the Second Amendment and Supreme Court judges, likely because he thinks it makes him look informed (only smart people talk about the Supreme Court judges after all), but literally that list never ever changes. All I can think about when I hear him talk is, “He’s so f–king dumb. How is he so f–king dumb.”

  48. KiddVicious says:

I find myself being obsessed with this whole Trump thing. I’m constantly checking news sources for his final melt down. I’m not getting much work done. I need this to be over.

I finally unfollowed all of the family members and friends who don’t necessarily like Trump but who, for whatever right-wing made up reason, hate Hillary. My feed was being bombarded by nothing but hatred memes of Hillary. I’m flabbergasted by the hate.

Now my FB is a happy place full of kittens. 😀

    • LoveIsBlynd says:

My FB friends are the selfish hipster types who squander their votes on fringe pro marijuana candidates. I’m not sure what’s worse?

  49. Jusayin says:

Sorry if someone already posted this but did you see this video of a CNN news anchor left speechless by a trump supporter? SMH

    http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2016/10/10/trump-supporter-talks-dismembered-babies-baldwin-bts-nr.cnn

  50. Nicole says:

Guys at work said that going out to a bar and listening to women talk is far worse. Uh, no. And my fiance who played football forever and in college, said no, that is not ‘locker room talk’. I mean has anyone not thought of what happens to a pro athlete for assault or DV like Ray Rice? He does not play anymore, so again, it isn’t a great argument. I just asked my co workers and boss if they’d like Trump or any man walking in on their daughters? Oh, so many excuses! It is amazing and so sad.

  51. Anastasia says:

I watched the second debate and at one point, I actually started crying. Here’s why:

You have Trump literally physically looming over Clinton while she speaks.

You have Trump calling his BRAGGING about sexual assault “nothing, words, locker room talk.”

You have the women who were supposedly in a relationship (or were in a relationship? don’t know, don’t care) with Bill Clinton in the top row of the place, looking down on her.

You have Trump lying, claiming she has NEVER worked on health care coverage for Americans. That’s the moment I lost it. I remember the 90s, I was an adult. She worked her ASS off to get health care for all Americans, and she LOST. But by God, she fought and fought and fought and was called every damn name in the book.

And then to sit there and have that malignant monster turd say she NEVER worked on health care coverage…on top of everything else…it was just too much. I suddenly sort of saw everything through her eyes. All that she worked on. All those years of hard work. All the years of being investigated, accused, attacked, betrayed. And now, this. It was just all too much.

I’m glad it’s her running and not me, because I would have gone off.

    • adastraperaspera says:

I agree @Anastasia, it was heartbreaking to watch.

It’s so infuriating how he attempts to rewrite history by outright lying about her VERY public foray into creating a comprehensive health care program in the U.S. as soon as Bill got in office. There are hundreds of articles about her project (and its eventually stonewalling and blocking), that one can just look up in online newspaper archives. But you can tell that Trump supporters weren’t reading the papers or paying any attention at all. They are lower than low information voters. They are the D students in class who are distainful of their teachers and don’t care a whit about learning to understand the responsibilities of citizenship or the complexity of societies in the real world.

      • LoveIsBlynd says:

Shockingly I know a few highly educated people who still favor trump. I guess I gleaned very different things in college and I’m Phi Theta Kappa. How can an educated person still favor the donald, this is what I find utterly confusing.

    • Flan says:

Wow, what a powerful post, Anastasia.

How can anyone not know that about Hillary Clinton? She did her utmost best, but they did everything they could to stop her from helping fellow Americans. I wonder how many people could have been saved if they had not used it as a means to target her.

  52. Joanie says:

On November 8, pu$$y grabs back.

    • Susan says:

Jump on to the #OHVotesEarly hashtag on Twitter. It’s inspiring and definitely revealing…white women and POC in color out in droves for HRC.

      • Lightpurple says:

Another great Twitter hashtag is #Muslimsreportstuff people responding to Trump’s ugly bigotry against them with tremendous humor and spirit.

    • Christin says:

Donny says go vote for him on November 28 (per his FL speech last night).

Interestingly, November 28 is allegedly the start of his university lawsuit hearings.

    • Trashaddict says:

Joanie I love you. That’s my motto from now on: “Pu$$y Grabs Back”.

    • Snowflake says:

      I love that!

  53. Nicole says:

Ha! Bill Clinton called them rednecks, I was going to use the term hick myself.

  54. Elise says:

I am betting that for the first time in history, the loser in a Presidential election is NOT going to concede he lost. He’s going to claim the election was rigged and he really won. AND THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WILL BELIEVE HIM. There are people who would start another civil war over it.

I hope to God that Hillary has a really good security detail for the rest of her life, because with these crazies, she’s going to need it. Maybe even more than Obama, and I never thought I’d say that.

    • Jusayin says:

Elise, this is actually what my husband keeps saying. Soooo scary.

He doesn’t have a clue what to do about Syria or Russia. He’s not really interested in learning the nuances even though he could be leader of the free world if he weren’t so gleefully ignorant. SAD!

    • Queenie says:

Arent he and Putin buddies….as in business? I remember someone saying America needs someone to handle him and Donald would be it. I doubt it. Putin probably knows Trump is more ego than politician and all Putin has to do is stroke it. Donald would be putty in his hands! It would be scary!

  57. LinaLamont says:

I haven’t read the comments here, today.
Did anyone mention that his supporters want to repeal the 19th?
    #repealthe19th

  58. SusanneToo says:

Well, donald is going to have plenty to grab. The Republican p***ies are coming out of the woodwork reneging on their rejection of trump. Gutless wonders just can’t stand up to the looney bin crowd. Didn’t even make it a week.

    • LinaLamont says:

I just can’t take any more. It’s so depressing that there are sooooooo many racist, misogynistic, homophobic, rabid morons (really, almost half the population?) who could hijack the country. This is surreal.
Trump is so fucking insane and dangerous.

  59. North of Boston says:

He and his surrogates have been whining about Clinton dismissing half of his supporters (the racist, white-power ranting, closed minded, let’s lock out all the brown people and make religious tests for people entering the US crowd) and yet he thinks it is OK to dismiss, or target for sexual assault, over half of the US population? And then whine about how it might harm his chances to be elected President? Oy! He is such a loud-mouthed, self-centered, ill-informed loser.

No, Cheeto-Ooompa Loompa, this is not what “alpha males” talk about. Men, people, who are truly powerful and confident don’t need to wield their power over others by assaulting them, by manhandling them, they don’t need to abuse that power by taking advantage of others. This was not “locker room” talk – you were at work, the women were at work, in a professional setting, and you bragged about assaulting people at their jobs. I cannot wait until Nov 8th when I can cast my (paper, unhackable) ballot for someone who is well-qualified for the Presidency, someone who takes the job and the American people (their jobs, well-being, security) seriously.

Hang on – just now on TV someone sat there on camera with a straight face “As a Trump supporter, I take him at his word” Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !…..

    • SusanneToo says:

Some dumba$$ woman on my local news said, “I’m not gonna pay attention to the big media.” The media that plays HIS OWN WORDS IN HIS OWN VOICE!!!!

  60. jferber says:

New Trump video: 1992 with a bunch of ten year old girls at Trump Tower. As one goes up the escalator, he says, “I’m going to be dating her in ten years.” Bastard!

  61. smd says:

Trashaddict, thank you. I’ve seen the links and I’ve read descriptions of the video. Can’t bring myself to watch it’s too disturbing for me. This is exactly who he has always been and will continue to be.
Linalamont, I think he’s just going to alienate more women this way. However, the petty rage monster in me would like to start seeing posters of kittens looking frightened as well as have all of the women he has groped or insulted come to the next debate. Seriously, can someone get Rosie O’Donnell, Carly Fiorina, Megyn Kelly, Alicia Machado and countless others some seats of honor up front?

  62. India Andrews says:

I showed my students a Frontline special on Trump and Clinton. When they saw the part about how Trump behaved as a child, they decided he was a bully and had an enabling father. Nothing has changed. Just as a lot of other words to the mix.

I loved a line from another poster that I saw in another magazine. The person said, “Trump is like a pumpkin- orange on thoutside and hollow on the inside and needs to be tossed in the trash in November.”

  63. India Andrews says:

Of course he does because Trump wants to be president for his benefit not for the country.
