Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet for Inglorious Basterds Wednesday evening in Cannes. Angelina wore Versace - a dress that US Weekly is calling “cream-colored” but looks peachy-beige to me. Maybe it looks different in person? I’m kind of “meh” on the dress, and wearing her hair down isn’t the best look. She looks a little tired, which I can understand. This is a whirlwind trip for her, yesterday in Holland, today in Cannes and tomorrow she’s probably headed back to New York.
Brad wore a classic tuxedo by Tom Ford, a brand he favors. The pictures show a very affectionate couple, but I’m sure there will be some conspiracy theories:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed some PDA at France’s Cannes Film Festival Wednesday.
The couple couldn’t keep their arms off each other on the red carpet for Pitt’s premiere of the Quentin Tarantino flick, Inglourious Basterds.
Pitt held Jolie’s hand as they made their way to the expansive carpet at the Palais Des Festivals. The duo then alternated between wrapping their arms around each other and gazing into each other’s eyes as they posed for the cameras. They never left each other’s sides.
Jolie donned a cream-colored Versace with a slit nearly up to her waist, while Pitt wore a dapper Tom Ford tuxedo.
Last night, Pitt and Jolie — who are staying at the luxe Hotel Du Cap in Antibes — ran into Twilight star Robert Pattinson at a dinner for Basterds.
“They spoke in the hallway. It didn’t seem like they knew each other that well, but the conversation was friendly,” a restaurant source told Usmagazine.com. “Brad shouted back to Rob, ‘Go inside and get something to eat.’ They all seemed happy.”

I wish Brad had yelled “Eat a sandwich and wash your hair for the love of God” at R-Pattz, but alas, Brad isn’t one to talk. Brad pulled it out for this trip, though. His clothes have been quite good, proving my theory that Brad cares a lot more about these red carpets than Angelina. I’m actually a little disappointed with Angelina’s dress. But, hey, at least it’s not black.

I love the dress and that shoes are to died for. I think she looks amazing and Brad looks very handsome. I don’t care what anybody say, looking at those pictures show a couple that are very together. You can’t fake affection like that, don’t care who you are, but like always they are those who would disagree lol

I have no real problem with either of them but whenever I see them in these types of events, you can clearly see it in their faces that they are drowning in their own media as “the most beautiful this..” and “amazing that..” hype and loving every minute of it. Please, these two fake affection for a living. Literally. The tabs were all up in their business for not being together constantly, so what do they do? Put on a show in front of every camera in the world to say “Yea, we’re so in love! Look at us!”

They both look tired. Hopefully they take some time and get the rest that they need. I don’t see how anyone can try to look at their body language or anything to see if they are still in love. They are actors! If they aren’t in love anymore, they can fake it (they make millions doing it all the time). They both haven’t looked the best for awhile, but they are both getting older and they have a large family and busy careers. I wish Angelina would put on a little weight, though, she is downright skinny.

I too tire from all the Brange hysteria but they look just fantastic here.
Love her new hair color w/ the gorgeous dress & shoes, understated jewels & am loving the red lips which really set off her lovely face, bulging vein aside. The dress is really something & she’s wearing it so well, hell even those ridiculous chicken legs look fabulous. Meanwhile he wears a classic tux very well. Attention whores sure but wow they look great. On the other hand, “affection you can’t fake”? - grow up.

I love the dress, the color and the slit!! However, as a stylist, I would have had her do smokey eyes and a soft nude pastel lipstick…it would have softend the look, red is too harsh against that pale shade IMO. other than that, we should all look so bad when we’re tired, HAH! Love them forever!!

I don’t dislike her and normally think she’s pretty, but she looks atrocious in these pics. She’s as pale as a ghost which the red lipstick just accentuates. With no color to her, that dress is just a total washout. I think she looks really bad.

I love Angelina Jolie,she always looks good anytime of the day but I prefer her with nude lipstick and browner hair.The dress is amazing,very sexy,but the color is kind of weird.Maybe if she had darker hair and different makeup it would look better.Like someone suggested above,smokey eyes and nude lipstick.Other then that I think she is beautiful,he’s looking great and of course they are crazy in love!!

Well I think they both look stunning. The red lipstick is not my favorite look for Angelina but I love the dress.
Someone commented that she’s overdone the Botox - in the photos of her in The Hague two days previously she’s frowning quite a lot and quite obviously not botoxed up.
I do agree that they are aware that they are the premium, most beautiful couple and they probably do enjoy that on some level - it would be hard for anyone not to. Very difficult to stay grounded in a situation like that. But on the other hand, they don’t go out looking for publicity when they don’t have something to promote - hence all the stories based on them not having been seen together. As to why they’re not often smiling in photos - probably comes down to the many paparazzi hassling them and the fact that they are focusing on marshalling kids somewhere safely.

The dress is “peach” coloured and not “cream” but most importantly: Brangelina will be happy to know that they both look wrinkly and unspectacular so if they are striving to look “normal” they’re almost there; just don’t expect me to pay to see my boring, homely next door neighbours in a movie.

I like that dress a lot, though I think a more subdued shade of lipstick would’ve worked better. But whatever, she is still gorgeous. They both look nice.
They look happy, too, which makes me feel less guilty about enjoying the little soap opera the tabloids are enacting involving these two and Jennifer Aniston.

Personally, I don’t like the dress–I don’t like the lines of it or the colour. On the other hand this woman has given birth to three children and the fact that she can WEAR this dress makes me say (despite my jealousy) “Go Angelina!”

They are actors so they know how to pretend. And for the “proof”, the picture that you give as proof is from their beginning. Can you provide a more recent one? I think not. They are doomed. I love the color of the dress. Gwynneth wore Stella McCartney in the same color to the Oscars and she looked smashing. Kind of old Hollywood. I don’t like the slit up to the hip on this dress, that makes it Paris Hilton Hollywood.

I think they look good, but something about his Today Show interview makes me think something is off with these two. The rags that print all the break up stories are already infiltrating the media with more lies. They are interpreting body language. Oh my!!!! These rags must really think we the public are stupid. I watched every video. Brad and Angie are in love and they are a family. I will never presume to sugggest that like any family they have problems (look at your family, look at the Kennedy’s,get my drift). But noone can look at their interaction and not see the love and respect they have for each other.

Further, i don’t understand why a couple “so in love” feels the need to constantly display, and always on the red carpet, their “deep” love. Who knows how the h*ll they really feel about each other, but can anyone explain why they constantly show such ridiculous displays of affection? If you think it’s to shut the media up, that’s crap. The media is what makes them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I absolutely love the dress and her gorgeous look. They look stunning and are clearly the King and Queen of everything! To me, they are IT.
However, in the after party pics, she looks a bit disheveled (probably drinks and weather) but you can see in the video and the pics that they are not faking their love. Jezebel had a great piece as to how the bottom feeding rags interpret their pics to sell magazines to bitter dumped women who think Brad was married to them!!!!

Codzilla, the bulging vein is Angelina’s secret signal to Brad that he has displeased her when they’re in public. She can smile for the cameras, yet rein Brad back in line with one throb of the her forehead vein without the world knowing there is any trouble in paradise.
Look at the picture…Brad’s brow is furrowed. He’s caught sight of the signal and is trying to figure out what he did wrong before, like Lori said, the alien busts out of her face and punishes him.
