Ewan McGregor arrived in New York ahead of the Stella Blizzard (or whatever we’re calling it) so he could promote Trainspotting 2 and Beauty and the Beast (he does voice work in the later). Ewan looked hot at the New York premiere of Beauty on Monday night, and then he got up bright and early on Tuesday morning for his junket. The problem? Stella had descended on New York and I guess none of the journalists came to Ewan’s junket. So he Instagrammed these hilarious photos:
That’s so funny. It makes me feel like Ewan is a hardy Scotsman who will still show up for all of his work requirements even in the middle of a blizzard. Of course, it’s more than possible that he was staying in the same hotel as the junket so he didn’t even have to go outside.
Oh, but Ewan did go outside! He appeared on Seth Meyers’ show last night and he talked about being stood up at his junket and more.

Man, he’s aged really well – both in looks and personality. My friend and I were watching Star Wars prequel films a few days ago with the kids, and we were laughing about how young he looks as Obi Wan. Still had a little baby face to him and clearly so enthusiastic about the role he was playing.
I’ve been watching Long Way Round, and it’s just made me love him as a human being. Team Ewan!

This guy has been a bae since the mid 90s. He has never disappointed me, not even Life Less Ordinary or Star Wars prequels. I wish him continued success. Can’t wait to see T2.
