American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert is planning to come out on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, if you believe gossip blogger Perez Hilton’s latest report. Perez, who seems so totally jealous and catty whenever he writes about Lambert, reported that the singer’s mother would not confirm or deny the report. Also interesting: Adam’s mother claims she had to sign a contract with American Idol stating that she could not comment on his personal life.
Rumor has it that Adam Lambert is officially coming out to Rolling Stone in their upcoming issue, but Glambert’s mom will not give any details…intentionally!
In a phone interview with E!, Leila Lambert, Glambert’s mom, said, ” I would rather not answer until it comes out.”
Even if she wanted to tell, she couldn’t!!!!!!
Leila states that she signed a contract with American Idol which forbids her to discuss her son’s personal life in any way.
You can’t talk about your son without permission from a TV show?!

Ever since that whole Miss California thing, Perez has been extra-bitchy on all matters gay. So you can imagine how cheesed off he is that a younger, better looking, more charismatic, and oh, yeah – ACTUALLY TALENTED – gay man has been getting all the attention lately. And he is correct- this isn’t a secret – not to Adam’s friends, family or fans. But I do wonder how much control the American Idol machine has over what Adam is allowed to say. It sounds like these kids sign their lives away when they audition for the show. But I had no idea that their families also were under contract. Personally, I think orchestrating an interview with Rolling Stone is kind of brilliant and awesome – it certainly boosts his image as a rock artist to be speaking with that magazine as opposed to People or Us Weekly. But, yeah, it’s really not a secret.

all Adam Lambert will ever be to me is a man who is a talented extreme pivotal unique iconic charismatic vocalist and artist who will be very successful in his life and admired by plenty of fans.

lol flourpot. Really. with all the money AI puts into the top 2, why doesn’t he look better? just change the little things! I think he needs to lose all the black make blue maybe maroon his basic clothing color. The black is too cliche.
He’s been caught out with his boyfriend many times. Kara outed him too. He doesn’t need to “come out” and he shouldn’t have to make his personal life public like that if he doesn’t want to.

Whaddaya mean since the Miss California thing Perez has been extra bitchy??? I personally thought he’d crossed way too many lines when he dubbed Rumer Willis “Potatohead” and said that she needed major plastic surgery. And his interest in the sex lives of teenagers is just plain creepy.
He’s a bitch, and I won’t read or watch anything having to do with him any more.

I always think it’s a good thing when someone public CHOOSES to offically come out. It send a great message to gay kids that you can live your life honestly. So good for Adam! Regardless if everyone knows, it’s offical and from the mouth of the person themself. I also don’t think it’s necessary to come out if you don’t want to. There are plenty of gay actors in Hollywood and most choose not to come out due to limitations the industry will put on them. Oh he can’t play a womanizer everyone knows he’s gay(thanks NPH for proving that wrong). However a straight man will be “brave” for playing gay. Go figure.

Omnibus Driver hit it right on the head. Perez is one of the most insane queens I’ve ever heard of & any chance he has to out someone (even someone who is already out??) he uses it as some sort of weak platform.

Um I’ve never been on Perez Hilton’s website but I have heard/read a lot of things he has written and he has always been a disgusting jerk. He tried to out Lance Bass, that guy from New Kid on the Block, etc. He even says stuff like Kelly Clarkson is a lesbian, as well as Alicia Keys. This guy has no class. And he has gotten worse over the years.

I like black nail polish on Adam. I would like to do black nail polish myself but it would scare my patients. But my toenails are now painted black and they will stay black until after I see Adam live in August in Charlotte. And the point of Adam’s talking about being gay is that it’s part of who he is – other entertainers don’t run around hiding the fact that they’re straight. Why should Adam hide the fact that he’s gay? It just makes me love him all the more. Adam is awesome/amazing/astonishing/utterly fabulous. Kris may have gotten the votes, but Adam won American Idol.

Why oh why do people think it is their business if Adam is gay or not? Enough already.He’s a guy who has tremendous talent, he’s sexy, he’s happy with who he is, wouldn’t it be nice if we all were so at peace with who we are as people? God has blessed him with such a gift. I can’t say enough about him I Love Adam…his parents have obviously done a superb job of raising him to be a kind gentle man they should be very proud of Adam.

I guess alot of us were hoping that he was straight. With those smolding eyes and brillant smile he is just gorgous and talented. Not that we’d ever get to date him, it was at least a fantasy. Now we have to just focus on his talent.
