Did you know that Bella Hadid is rumored to be dating this male model? His name is Jordan Barrett, and he’s Australian. He’s 20 years old, same as Bella. They cover the September issue of Vogue Australia, but this isn’t really some big coming-out party as a couple – they won’t even confirm that they’re dating in the interview, which is probably pretty smart. I really don’t keep up with the young male models (I’m still ride or die for David Gandy), but this Jordan kid is okay. He’s very pretty – those lips, those cheekbones, he looks a bit like the guy version of Margot Robbie. I think they just grow ‘em like that in Australia. Anyway, the vibe from the interview is “just friends.”
Models Hadid and Barrett, who are also close friends, have been photographed together for the first time for this very special issue of Vogue, and interviewed together by Derek Blasberg.
“We’ve done fashion shows together, but this is our first time in front of the camera,” Hadid shares with Blasberg in the cover interview. “We’ve been such good friends that it was super natural and fun,” adds Barrett. The interview made headlines when paparazzi photographed it taking place at Bella’s New York apartment. Bella and Jordan were interviewed by Blasberg for the cover story, and it was Blasberg to whom they were speaking via FaceTime in the paparazzi images. In the interview the pair chat about everything from how they met to their rise to the top of the fashion industry – and clarify whether or not they’re dating.
“We met one of my first days in New York. We both were meeting Hailey [Baldwin] at a hotel in SoHo. It was like my third day here,” says Barrett on how the pair met.
“And you guys immediately started dating, right?” asks Blasberg. “Ha, we never dated, Derek! We’re like best friends, which is much better for both of us. Actually, he’s like a brother,” says Hadid.
Weighing in on fame, Barrett says: “It’s different, but you get used to it. It’s a lot of flying and you never are in the same place for more than two days.”
“What I think nobody understands, especially [for] Jordan, is that he never gets to see his family. My mum got a place in New York, and I get to see my sister every couple of weeks, but we’re basically on a plane every three days. That’s probably the hardest part. But we’re blessed and we love it.” Asked to describe each other in two words, Hadid says: “Energy and vibes.” Barrett’s answer? “The. Best.”
I find them boringly vapid, but nice to look at. I actually think Bella is getting better and better as a model, specifically as an editorial model. Gigi generally looks the same in her editorials, but Bella has really started giving FACE. Anyway, I wouldn’t be mad if these two got together. It might be nice for Bella to date someone her age, plus Aussie men seem pretty great. He could teach her how to surf!

Edit: On second viewing, is that headline/subtitle a dig, though? Supernatural? It took a lot (too much, tbh, her poor nose looks like it’s a sneeze away from collapsing) of highly paid handiwork for Bella to look so super-natural.

Sometimes I think she’s got such a strong look and then from other angles I just feel that the surgery is way too obvious, almost cat lady-ish, and it goes over into uncanny valley. It’s kind of unsettling.
Me too. There’s something a little off about her face and I know it’s because of surgery but somehow on her I guess it works for me. I think she’s a way better runway and editorial model than Gigi. As for this guy he’s too pretty for me but he he sure is nice to look at.

I agree with what another poster said about Bella: I feel like modeling with that much plastic surgery is like playing a sport with performance enhancing drugs. Her lips look super injectible-d here.

Agreed. She looks NOTHING the way she did naturally, pre plastic surgery, just a bunch of man made, plastic features carved on to/out of her now. It’s disturbing, she looks so odd to me, like she’s had an entire face TRANSPLANT….I don’t find her pretty in the slightest; in fact, that much plastic surgery is repellent. Have no idea how she became a model besides nepotism; even with that, she’s so bluntly, eerily unattractive, I’m amazed any modeling company signed her.

We had our roof done. There was a problem, and they young guy who came to check it yesterday looked like, no word of a lie, Liam Helmsworth. So very much so I wondered what the heck he was doing in a small Canadian city and not out modelling. It made my day. I felt a wee tad pervy cause he’s at least 20 years younger, probably was about 23-24 years old. But my goodness.
And the very best part? He didn’t call me ma’am.
Yaaassss! I always think that since guys get to see lots of short-shorts, bikinis and tube tops in the summer – it’s only fair we get to see lots shirtless construction dudes and tradesmen 🤷🏼♀️
